Momo Ramen

"Fancy some Japanese ramen? Then look no further! This hip and laid-back spot serves fresh house-made noodles. The aromatic dishes draw on regional ingredients and dispense with any additives. Reduced menu at lunchtime. An amusing detail: the toilets are wallpapered with Japanese newspapers." - Michelin Inspector

The restaurant is highly recommended for all ramen lovers. The food is a culinary delicacy and even for my 2-year-old daughter it was tasty. The service was very friendly and even with our inconvenience of being late through bus connections, they welcomed and served us warmly.

A very busy eatery, even at 4pm. A booking is recommended. Large portions, and an extensive menu. Tasty ramen. Lots of cool Japanese drinks. Heartwarming on a cold Hamburg day.

Best Ramen experience in Germany. I’ve visited some ramen places in Berlin and Bayern (not yet in Düsseldorf). Hier was the top so far. Especially the Tonkotsu ramen has amazing broth. You should try it. It was really well cooked and they bring out really well the taste of pork. And even a bit sticky which means there is collagen. And it smells any bad things from the pork. That’s not easy to cook. I‘m so thankful for the effort of the kitchen crew. (I saw there was no Japanese! Amazing) And the noodle was also amazing. Momo Style Spicy Miso had other noodle than Tonkotsu. Tonkotsu was thiner. And it was my taste. Last important thing, the toppings! Especially the Chashu. It was just legit. And perfectly melting in my mouth. To compare to the ramen restaurant in Korea or Japan, here is absolutely also on the high level. Service was also good. Order and the payment went smooth. Even we were at the deep corner seats. I send huge clap clap clap to their efforts 👏🏻

The restaurant surprises with ample space and an ambiance that blends art, hip-hop, and the spirit of Japan. The rooms, designed by various artists, accompanied by cool hip-hop beats and a cozy bar in the basement, create an atmosphere that invites lingering. The real highlight, of course, is the ramen! With seven variations, including my favorites, Shoyu and Tantamen, Momo Ramen enchanted my palate. The broths are rich, the noodles perfectly cooked, and the ingredients fresh and authentic. Particularly impressive is the dedication to importing a majority of the ingredients directly from Japan to bring the taste as close to the original as possible. In addition to the delicious ramen, the restaurant also offers a selection of tasty appetizers such as Kimchi and Gyoza. The fine selection of beverages, including traditional sake and exotic cocktail creations, perfectly rounds off the experience. I will definitely be back and can recommend Momo Ramen to anyone looking to enjoy authentic Japanese cuisine and a great atmosphere!

Super yummy food. Loved my Ramen 🍜 the service was a bit off though. We had booked a table at 6pm and a friend joined us spontaneously and that caused a lot of trouble. The waiter was really stressed by that and told us many times how long we have left to finish our food. This makes this restaurant experience a bit less nice - maybe something can be changed here in the system.

Very good ramen. The place was packed even though it’s not very central. Everything sounded really good it was very difficult to pick from, so I could definitely return for more. Don’t miss out on their kimchi too, it’s one of the best I’ve had. Worth a visit for sure even though it was a bit pricey!

Of course had better. This is coming from someone whom travels to Japan often. Wanted to try this as review was quite high and seems legit. Once I saw the texture of the ramen as it was placed on my table, I knew immediately that is not a good sign. Way Too soft and soggy. Gouza was decent tho and the service is good. Good place for young locals whom haven’t had a chance to travel to Japan to taste some ramen. Besides the texture of the ramen, soup base was okay as I order Momo Soy sauce option. Would not go again as I want to try more ramen places in Hamburg
