Momo Sushi

Absolutely loved this sushi spot in Boulder City! The sushi was incredibly fresh and flavorful — some of the best I’ve had in a long time. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and they were so kind and accommodating with my 11-month-old niece, even timing the food to help with her needs. It made our experience that much more enjoyable. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Nice little spot in a nice small town. The staff is super friendly and the food is amazing. The chef has a good hand and great taste, each dish has so much flavor. Update: 3.15.24 Love this place, it's like coming to visit family every time. Thank you for making us feel like we are coming home.

Stopped in today for lunch. Service was fast and efficient. Lunch specials were excellent a good value. This sushi is cut from the same fish you will eat at the fancy places on the strip but pay 3 to 5x as much. Old town Boulder City is very nice.

The sushi was very good. However, the staff was watching some weird wrestling thing on TV, which definitely was distracting since we were seated right underneath the TV. We were the only people in the restaurant. Also, toward the end of our meal, they emptied trash or something because the smell that engulfed the room was absolutely disgusting. They could have waited until we left to do whatever they did. Finally, we walked out the door & actually felt chased out because the server followed quickly and locked the door behind us! It was as if they screamed, "Get Out!". We would have to think twice about going back. I cannot highly recommend Momo Sushi.

Imagine our delight when we discovered this absolutely amazing sushi restaurant…. Not over priced, welcoming and helpful staff (we really didn’t know what to pick) and tasty tasty food. So good we went back the following night! Highly recommended.

Stopped in after an afternoon swim training in lake mead. We were starving and enjoyed the miso soup, California and tiger sushi rolls. I had the teriyaki chicken plate with side veggies and was able to share too. The portions are well set, and we dined inside. We've been here several times and have dined inside and out, and ordered some food to go. The service is amazing every time and helpful in new suggestions. Please stop in if you're ever in Boulder City.

Phenomenal sushi and service! This is a family owned business with quality sushi and drinks. Been going here for years and always impressed. Roy, the sushi chef, is personable and professional and the servers (Ellen) and her daughters make dining a delight. There is nice indoor and outdoor seating with some throwback R&B music to relax to

Small place and thankfully early for dinner. We grabbed the last table to chow down after. Full day of kayaking. We were exhausted and the guide from our trip suggested Momo sushi. He was spot on. Incredible. Service was excellent. Food came out quickly. Owner was on hand, bringing out food, cleaning tables and apologizing when they were out of something. Very reasonable prices too. Loved it.

Stopped by for a quick takeout order and this place exceeded expectations. The service was fast, staff were kind, the seating and decor is very neat and cozy. My friends and I ordered shrimp tempura rolls and other fresh rolls. The sushi is well made, and authentic- so put together in a perfect ratio. The tempura was nicely done too- shrimp was tender and moist. I would love to come back for more. Thank you for a great experience!

Sushi was awesome! Would recommend to anyone in Boulder City. Try the zesty salmon and screaming lotus. The servers were kind.

We used to go to Momo Sushi a lot in Henderson, but since moving to Boulder City, this place is stellar. Excellent food. Excellent service. Friendly waitresses. So glad you're here in this town!

Being a foodie and a chef, and an avid traveler, including most of Europe, I can say without a doubt this restaurant has it dialed n and is on point. Freshest sushi I've had in years. Ambience of s great. I suspect it is family owned and if so it shows that level of pride. Nothing is average. Price point is excellent. Our waiter, Austin was fantastic. This place is truly a hidden gem. Check it out, you won't be sorry. If it's a weekend it would be advised to schedule ahead and get reservations.

I've never been disappointed when I've gone here. The staff is always super friendly, the atmosphere is inviting, and the food is fresh. Before I became a vegetarian, I enjoyed so many of their rolls. They have the classics as well as some fun takes on traditional US sushi. I would love to see more vegan and vegetarian friendly rolls that are creative and well thought out and use either mock meats or substitutes that still give the same flavor pallet and depth to the non-veg counterparts. That being said, they've been willing to make accommodations in the past. I feel like its proximity to the college means it's just often, but I've never had to wait too long. It's a place I return to again and again.

Very good sushi restaurant down the street from the Boulder Dam hotel. I went for lunch and started with the Baked Green Mussels....they were so good! Then got the Chicken Teriyaki lunch bento box that came with miso soup.l. really enjoyed the vegetable and shrimp tempura...as well as the spicy tuna roll. Will definitely be coming back to try more items.

Terrific food, Terrific service, open late which works for me because I don't get home until after 8pm. Works for me. Happy customer indeed.

Milo and thank you Milo passed away last Friday November 22 nd 2024? He was a great guy with a good sense of humor and ran a great restaurant in Boulder City for a number of years he will be missed and Milo's restaurant will be gone but not forgotten. 5 to the man and the restaurant

I saw Momo Sushi from across the street and decided to pop in for a to go order. Service was friendly and I appreciated that they got my order out quickly so I didn't have to wait around long. I had a couple salmon rolls and a miso soup. I didn't love that the sesame on the rice but otherwise, it was fine.

On our way back from Hoover dam looking for a great place to eat what a surprise this place was excellent sushi! Service was friendly attentive and fabulous. So good my daughter said we need to visit more often even though we live 8 hours away! Absolutely loved the spicy edamame, perfect amount of spice and flavor! What a find!!

We went here for a celebratory lunch and I have to say this is some of the best sushi I have ever eaten. The stuffed tomato, palm tree and ss rolls were highlights, but the ell and avocado roll was amazing as well. Friendly service, cute aesthetics with a small town vibe. Will happily return here instead of driving into town for japanese fare.

If you're driving through a quaint western style town, you might miss this hidden sushi place in the old part of Boulder City, NV. On this cold day, I wanted to try their tonkatsu-pork ramen. It came to my table fast and steaming. The broth was heavenly. It needed lots of spice. I asked the friendly server and she brought out a small dish filled with spicy oily sauce. It reminds me of chili oil. I poured it all in and stirred it all up. Perfect! It was a surprisingly wonderful find in this small town.

We had sashimi, sashimi and more sashimi, accompanied by few rolls, palm tree, ultimate tuna, and few handrolls plus a coconut roll for "desert" ... Prompt and friendly service, organized and clean, the server was always attentive, and the food wS just delicious, properly presented with a good choice in drinks as well. We sat at the bar, as the place was full with patrons at every table, and proved that it's popularity is gained through quality and good service and affordable prices. A wonderful experience.

Today I returned to my very favorite sushi spot MOMO sushi! Unicorn hand roll was extraordinary! Toro with uni, supreme amazing! Fresh wasabi came with ample amount for my entire meal. (Not fond of the shiso tempura) Benty hand roll AMAZING‼ SERVICE SO SO SO WONDERFUL. 11 STARS

Everything was wonderful and tasted fresh. Double eggs in the Quail Egg Shooters!! Waitress was very friendly and attentive.

Such a quaint and unique sushi spot located in Boulder City! The staff at this location are absolutely amazing! There is very limited seating, so I would suggest making a reservation if possible. They have a great variety of menu items to choose from. Be sure to ask your server for what specials they have at the time! They have buy one, get one free house sake which is always a fun time! Will definitely be visiting again! Thank you for the amazing food and service.

On a tour for the Hoover Dam, we stopped for lunch....got on Yelp & found Momo Sushi! The service was EXCELLENT...the sushi was on point...fresh and delicious! I was even amazed by the Pepsi I ordered, it was the best Pepsi that I've had in years...wasn't flat or too much seltzer, just perfect! This place is so good, I was looking for a spot closer to home but I know they are a mom and pop shop. If you are in the area & want sushi, RUN, you won't be disappointed...HONEST!

Lovely little spot. Food is always delicious it's our favorite spot to visit. The butter scallop appetizer is warm and delicious its a small serving for one person. poke lettuce wraps are very good good as well, sweet, slightly spicy. favorite rolls: I.S Roll, Baked Alaska, classic rainbow roll. I find bad service is quicker than table service. Oh and extra: Green tea ice cream is very creamy and flavorful, best I've had at a sushi joint.

Their appetizers are amazing! The main dishes are very well presented. Their sushi is on point. I loved the sake. A wonderful place to have dinner and a date.

Wow what a pleasant surprise to find this sushi restaurant. Loved everything we ordered. The Screaming O, lettuce wraps, Momo sushi. The servers were so nice and friendly. I will definitely be back and repeat what I got as well as add some things we had wished we ordered!

I love seeing artists who are dedicated to their craft. Roy is without a doubt creating works of art. Smoked Salmon, Albacore with Yuzu and Avocado, and Unicorn handball aka PB&J of the Sea are some of them, just to name a few. The nigiri are made with precision and balance and you can taste the freshness. Will definitely be back!!!

Great little place in Boulder City! Food was tasty and the service was good. The lettuce tuna wraps were fresh and yummy! My husband enjoyed the lemon roll, sake flight and other tasty rolls! My MIL who's not a sushi person enjoyed her salad and chicken teriyaki too. We will be back!

I'm not a sushi eater however I enjoy their awesome bento selection. The staff are great always so nice and friendly. I eat here at least once a month.

This place doesn't disappoint for me! What they lack in service is made up by unexpected dish surprises. We always get the lunch box: entree: soup/ salad/ tuna or CA roll of your choice/ mixed tempura. Such a filling combo! They are known for surprises on their specials of the day- so look here for the goodies first. The fish is so fresh and the technique is Japanese authentic. If you're in Boulder and crave something Asian- GO GO GO.

Placed an order for pick up. Everyone was nice and answered my questions over the phone. Not sure why someone decided to put all four of our sushi rolls in one box? When we took them out they all stuck to one another and were falling apart. :/ Rice and rolls were warm, too. Mind you it's winter and we live 5 mins away so that was disappointing. Also when I placed the order I asked if they could please label what each roll was and they did but I don't know how they thought writing them down but in no particular order would help? They also wrote down a yellowtail roll which we didn't order. Overall just very meh quality. Really had high hopes but we know better now.

Five stars for an excellent value! I had the nigiri lunch special - which consisted of five pieces of nigiri (chef's choice), a California Roll, and Miso Soup - for about $16. Great deal! The chef also let me know that they just got in some O Toro - which is the tastiest (and generally most expensive part of the fish). For $12 for two good-sized pieces, it was an absolute steal. You'd pay double or triple that anywhere near the Strip. Excellent food, friendly staff, good prices. Just go!

This place is a hidden gem. We had four of the specialty rolls and all were delicious and very fresh tasting. Soy sauce went unused at our table, since the sauces on the rolls perfectly complemented the fish. The service was friendly and very attentive. We will definitely be back.

Best sushi in Henderson. I have been going here for 6years and the food is consistently great! The staff is always kind and friendly. I highly recommend you try to this spot out.

Not sure if the owner has changed but this has turned around 360 degrees. Food, service, atmosphere, were all amazing.... So happy. We live here and loved this place... it got purchased and went down hill for a couple of years. But then it appeared a new owner came in and WOW!! It's fabulous again

We haven't had good sushi since we lived in California, but this gem in the desert was a great sushi destination! Fresh flavors, great sake, quality plating, good portions, great customer service, Sean is a great server! Very knowledgeable and great sushi chefs and the portions are the perfect size! We recommend the house rolls, try something new! Thank you for a great experience.

Momo's food is so yummy! Can't get enough, been here twice this week. Momo Hamachi
