This was the best sushi I have had in a long time. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Best roll was the Momo Shushi Roll. So refreshing with a little kick. We also got the Lemon Roll. Very light and delicious. I would highly reccommend this place!

Google
Excuse my TikTok influencer wanna be video but I absolutely adore this place and wanted to share it online. This is my go to sushi bar in California now. I have purchased both the standard omakase ($80/person) and the premium omakase ($150/person) as well as some of their standard rolls and nigiri. I personally have decided the cost of the omakase is worth it for the freshness, flavor, and the location being here in Riverside rather than somewhere I have to use the 91 to get to! The head sushi chef is so excited about what he does. Most times we show equal excitement he gives us a little extra on our omakase. He tell us where he gets each of the omakase offerings (fresh uni delivered from Japan OMG). The quality and freshness is superb. The king salmon is the best salmon I have ever had, hands down. I also LOVE the toro neki (chopped green onions and toro topped with truffle). It is one of the best things I have EVER had. I have been to Japan but sadly that’s expensive to travel to and far away. This place consistent helps me get my sushi fix for a lot cheaper. Service also deserves 5 stars. I have always had great kind servers here. Highly highly recommend this spot. And no they do not offer all you can eat because the quality is much better than any place around Riverside offering all you can eat. There’s a time and place for AYCE, and a time and place for quality - this place is for good, quality sushi.

Google
A great sushi spot in Riverside! Upon entering the restaurant, we noticed how nice the decor was; modern without being too trendy. There are tables, booths and a bar in terms of seating options. The menu is very robust, offering some fantastic options. From sashimi, cut rolls, hand rolls and chirashi bowl to name a few. My wife and I started with the crispy rice with spicy tuna. The crispy rice was perfectly crispy. The tuna could have been spicier but it was still very delicious. Then we had the hamachi Kama which was the highlight of our dinner. It was absolutely perfect and melted in your mouth. We then shared a Chirashi bowl which had a variety of fish, shrimp, scallops all over rice. Every piece of fish was so damn good. The presentation was exquisite and the portion was perfect for two people. Lastly, we had the Momo special cut roll and a Black Dragon roll. Both were satisfying and again also delicious. The service was very efficient. It was somewhat busy but the servers made sure every table was getting the needed attention. All of the staff was friendly. Although this place is not “cheap”, the quality of food that’s being prepared here easily makes it worth the extra $$$. I definitely recommend this place. I think this is now our top spot for sushi in the area!!!

Google
Have been on the hunt for "my" sushi spot.. I found it! Hubbs and I booked reservations for Valentine's Day and we loved it. We both had Omakase off the Valentine's Day Menu. The quality, presentation and taste of our dinner was amazing. My hubbs was in love right from start with the appetizers and the great Omakase sushi chef selection was it for me. It was a busy night but our server Damien kept his cool and took care of us. We will be coming back soon for their shooters.

Google
I’d definitely recommend Momo sushi. The place has a good selection of rolls and other Japanese cuisine. The sushi is delicious, made fresh, and with quick and friendly service. If you’re in the area it’s a must try. If you live in the area it’ll become your go to sushi spot. Clean, friendly, welcoming and delicious!

Google
Nestled in the back of a small lot this sushi restaurant packs a ton of flavor. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable about what they have on hand and what sets them apart from others. The fish is fresh , flavors are balanced and I never had to pick up any soy sauce or add anything to a single roll or sushi.

Google
The food is really great here, it is a little pricey. Best calamari I've ever had and the rolls are delightful. The service is pretty bad though, just make sure you have plenty of time to eat there. Our server was super forgetful.

Google
This sushi restaurant opened a few weeks ago and prides itself in premium cuts of fresh fish. As promised, the sushi was quite fresh, delicate, and often creamy in texture. There were some nice options including toro (belly) cuts. By comparison, the cut roll was a bit small and expensive, though flavor was very good. The restaurant still didn’t have the liquor license so we couldn’t pair the sushi with beer. Service was attentive but with a lot of interruptions to ask how the food was. This seems to be one of the best local sushi restaurants. I hope they can stay open long term.

Yelp
Ok! We all have a place that is so good and no one knows of so you keep it to yourself so that it doesn't get messed up. This is my place. I'm reluctant to review it but I can't help but share it. Momo sushi is as close as you will come to Sushi in Japan here in Cali. You wouldn't expect this little inconspicuous place to be so good but it is good. Very good. As appetizer order the Shishito Peppers. What a sensational dish. It's truly addictive especially when partnered with some warm Saki. As always if you see my sushi reviews I order unagi as my baseline to judge sushi by. This unagi was flawless. No fishy taste. Seasoned just right. Definitely the best in California. My wife had the Hamachi Carpacio . So delicious it melts in your mouth. We followed that with a couple of rolls. Always the Momo Special, the best. Also the Sunshine. Both rolls were out of this world. The entire menu is a hit. We know we've had just about everything. I hope I don't regret this review. But I can't go on not sharing the best Sushi in So Cal. Definitely Recommended.

Yelp
First timer here! I had a wonderful experience! Omakase was really good! The price point is average for quality sushi. Omakase is a dining style where you trust your chef to choose the freshest ingredients and curate your dining experience. The chef didn't let us down! We usually bring a bottle of wine with us but the corkage fee was $25 so we opted to just get a bottle of their Sauvignon blanc. I forgot the name but it was in the $35-$40 range and I enjoyed it! Maybe a little too much as I was buzzed pretty quickly lol. The staff was nice and welcoming. I always recommend sitting at the bar. I love being able to chat with the chef and observe how he cuts fish and makes nigiri. The inside of the restaurant is clean and modern with sleek lines and simple yet elevated features. The ambiance was really nice. The appetizer plate was a great start. There were so many things on the plate and I must say my favorite was the cute little deep fried crab! It looked a little intimidating at first but it was love at first crunch. The fish was fresh. The sushi rice was made perfectly. The servings were nice. The chef even asked us if we were still hungry and he'd make us a hand roll. Usually I would want to try but I was stuffed! I finished the meal with matcha mochi ice cream. Yum! Can't wait to visit again!

Yelp
give me mo mo of momo sushi! What a treat to offer in riverside. Something more upscale and fresh compared to the run of the mill ayce sushi locations around town. Mind you this location will cost you a pretty penny, but its all for the experience right? From the outside it doesn't look like anything special.. maybe even a little run down. But, once you walk in you are transported to a trendy sushi restaurant. We ordered a variety of specialty rolls, sushi, and spoons. Everything was fresh and bursting with flavor. They do offer an omakase menu that seems quite popular. Service could be better. We were really left on our own after ordering and did not get a chance to get any drink refills.
google avatar

Maureen J.

Yelp
I forgot to take pictures but the meal was really yummy! I like that they don't use imitation crab Service was great! And the restaurant had a nice ambiance. I would go back again to try more of their food!
google avatar

Brian K.

Yelp
Frist time here. The service was okay. We ordered a few different plates of fresh Sushi was very tasteful. Will definitely come back to try some other types of Sushi and Bento Plates. The prices were average. One of the better places in Riverside to eat fresh Japanese food.
google avatar

Yelp
I'm addicted to their fresh dishes and tasty sushi . And perfectly paired with hot sake. Fast and consistent service every time. The restaurant is always clean and smelling good .

Yelp
Save your money, save yourself the trip ,it's not even not even mid it's subpar at best ,the food was was edible ...that's all I have to say I understand taste is subjective but for the price i expect alot more ,highly let down .Service was okay ,they weren't that busy when I came and the waitress didn't check in with us at all which is whatever that's not impactful towards my review,my review is mostly in reference to the actual food. Ambiance is chill and cozy .

Yelp
Was in the area for Castlepark, and family was craving sushi. Out of the several options in the area, we found this location and it didn't disappoint. I wouldn't expect quality and tasty sushi out in Riverside, but this place exceeded my expectations. Each roll was made with attention to detail, good portions and fresh ingredients. Staff were friendly, and they mentioned whether we had made reservations. But we did not, and they were still able to get our party of 9 in with no problem. There is a separate side room good for larger parties as well as a huge group if needed. Decor is modern, and clean. Our server was wonderful, she was friendly, good at explaining the dishes, and was prompt with refilling our drinks or letting us know it's their last call. Cost is roughly $20+ for each roll, and they also offer an Omakase option which is pretty cool to see. This place is above the standard sushi places I've visited before, as each dish stood out and tasty.

Yelp
I have seen this place pops up on Yelp and I always want to try out. So i stopped by. This spot seems like a hidden gem with great sushi they serve. I first tried out Omakase $80 option. It turns out great, fish is fresh and the chief is friendly. I don't eat eel, he was able to accommodate me with some things else. Love to go back again sometime.

Yelp
This is our favorite restaurant ever! Now it better not disappear on us. lol We've been coming here since they opened as often as our "budget" allows and it absolutely never disappoints. The fish here is so amazing. we close our eyes to enjoy it even more. The service is always great as well and parking is easy and safe! Our favorite restaurant is Momo's- date night Fridays and Sunday lunch. Very peaceful atmosphere and great food!
google avatar

Yelp
The second time here was just as good as the first! Sushi was fresh and amazing and this go around we tried the chirashi bowl which really impressed me! All of the fish in the bowl was delicious and a solid value for around $30. Unfortunately, they were out of the gindara which was one of my favorites from last time, but there were plenty of other options. The engawa, sake toro and smoked albacore stood out to me. The only one I wasn't too much of a fan of was the Spanish mackerel. Overall, an amazing sushi place and hands down the best in the IE. Definitely on the pricier side but well worth it for a special occasion.

Yelp
We stopped by during the lunch-to-dinner transition, and parking was easy to find. Although we ordered a mix of lunch and dinner entrées, a change in servers during the shift may have caused a delay in our meal being served. I didn't mind much since the Dodgers game was on, but my partner kept glancing over at the sushi bar, waiting for our food. We ordered the UNAGI BOWL (LUNCH) and the CHIRASHI BOWL (DINNER). The previous server had recommended the dinner portion, noting that it includes significantly more sushi for the price. The lunch Unagi Bowl was about the size of my small hand. While I enjoyed it, I wasn't sure the portion justified the price. It disappeared too quickly. The dinner Chirashi Bowl wasn't bad either. The presentation was appealing, but the ingredients tasted average. Overall, it was a decent experience, I wouldn't rule out this place for lunch deals.
google avatar

Kevin P.

Yelp
I can say I was pretty disappointed about our lunch here. With all the great reviews they received. Momo sushi was just your average sushi place and a bit pricey for what you get. The quality of the fish was fine. It wasn't great nor bad but the sushi rice wasn't the best. We came here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon and was seated right away. Our server Sandra was great and friendly and took our party of six order. 1) Signature Chirashi Bowl- $40- This was supposed to be served with seasonal fresh fish. The only seasonal fish un that bowl was the a tiny sayori and Ikura and the rest was your basic fish that goes in a Chirashi bowl. Tuna,Salmon,Yellowtail,Snapper,Ebi. If I would known I would have just ordered the lunch chirashi for cheaper. There was nothing seasonal about this bowl. 2) Carpaccio Hirame- Good but way over dressed. 3) Momo Special Roll- Not bad 4) Kohada and Iwashi Nigiri- Kohada wasn't marinated well. It was on the sweet side. Iwashi was fine. 5) Lunch Sushi Set- This didn't set well with my son tummy and my son eats the same kind of sushi that I do. He said it tasted fine. We wanted to try this place first before trying their Omakase but now we have second thoughts but might consider on giving them a second shot. Another thing. They automatically add 20% services charge for a party of 6 and more.

Yelp
Came here on a Saturday evening for a date night with my partner. I made a reservation just a few hours beforehand, and the process was super easy. The restaurant was prompt with confirmations, which I appreciated. Vibes The space is very open and clean, with light wood furniture that gives it a nice, airy feel. It was slightly empty, and everyone was casually dressed, which added to the relaxed atmosphere. Service The service was excellent. Our waiter was attentive and helpful without being overbearing. Food THE FOOD WAS AMAZING. Not just amazing for Riverside--AMAZING PERIOD. While everyone was dressed casually, I felt like the food quality felt like i could have been in a fancy restaurant. Honestly, I considered gatekeeping this restaurant, but they deserve way more attention! $60 Omakase - 10/10 I can't remember exactly how many courses were included, but trust me, it was plenty. We both left absolutely stuffed. - The miso soup tasted like any other miso soup but it was packed with clams. - The sashimi appetizer was stunningly beautiful, delicious, and inventive. - The steamed egg was silky smooth and perfectly seasoned. - The 8 pieces of nigiri were flawless--no fishiness at all (and I looked for it), just fresh, high-quality seafood. - The mochi ice cream dessert might have been from Costco, but it was still the perfect way to end the meal. Momo Roll Special - 10/10 We ordered this because we thought the omakase might not be enough--but wow, were we wrong! Despite that, I have no regrets. The roll was incredibly fresh, with a hint of acidity and a crunchy layer that, believe it or not, tasted kind of like Fritos (in the best way possible). I was into it! Overall I loved my experience here. The price was absolutely worth it, and I'll definitely be back. I'll also be recommending this spot to everyone who visits Riverside.

Yelp
First and foremost, SARU was so AMAZING and KIND the whole time of being there. Me and my partner felt so welcomed! THE SUSHI WAS THE BEST IVE EVER HAD ! NO EXAGGERATION YALL ! It was better than WHEN I WENT NOBU ! We got the " Premium Omakase " and it was VERY MUCH worth it! I am not only going to write this 5 star review but I will be telling my family and friends that this place is so worth visiting and spending your money on ! We will be back and again thank you to all the staff for the warm welcome and the amazing food! With love ASIA and PABLO :)

Yelp
Eating at Momos has definitely been one of the best, if not the best experiences eating at a restaurant. Damien was my server and he really knows what he's doing, super professional and knowledgeable about the food he is serving. The food is absolutely amazing, but even if it wasn't I would come back just for Damien. You won't regret coming here!

Yelp
1st time here. Me and my wife ordered their $80 omakase. Tasted amazing. Service was excellent. The ambiance is cozy. We will be coming back often.

Yelp
My absolute favorite sushi spot in the IE. no other spot compares at all!!!!!! Tuna belly is sooooooo good!! Alan is the best server. So kind and very helpful. Made the experience 10x better! Chef Garu and Chef John are very knowledgeable and kind! Will be coming back for that protein roll!

Yelp
Dear Momo Sushi Team, I'm writing to let you know how much I enjoy dining at your restaurant. Momo Sushi is truly my favorite! I especially appreciate your sushi lunch special with the six premium pieces, a roll, and miso soup. I also particularly love the Uni caviar blue crab roll. Thank you for consistently providing wonderful food and a great dining experience. I look forward to my weekly visits. Sincerely, Mariam

Yelp
This location used to be a Korean restaurant I remember going to as a child almost 15-20 years ago. I'm happy this place is now here in Riverside because I can now save myself from driving to Orange County for good sushi. If anything my friends know me as the go to guy for food recommendations and I forsure will be recommending this place. The quality of sushi here is amazing. It may not be as good as like searching Omakase's where you're paying near $300 a person for the price. It is amazing and delicious and the quality is definitely better than the price of you're paying for. I highly just recommend sitting at the sushi bar and just going Omakase and trying as many pieces nigiri you can. The chef here seasons your nigiri perfectly so you don't need to add any soy sauce to your pieces and ruin the flavor profile he created for you to enjoy. Make sure you stop by and give it a try. Also haven't really found many places that serve caviar in Riverside but they got the real good sturgeon caviar, Royal Ossetra and Kaluga Hybrid Reserve. Make sure you come early or make a reservation. The inside main dining area has a few booths and a few tables of the sushi bar, but there's also a secondary area when things get more busy, they will open. Most of the time that I come I only see one waitress or server so if it's busy, and there's only one be patient because the food's worth it.
google avatar

Crystal F.

Yelp
We LOVE this place! It is the most fresh sushi you will have in the IE. it is always an enjoyable experience

Yelp
Was looking for an upscale Sushi spot for a midweek Fathers-Daughter Date, this was the highest rated in Riverside. It's a bit tacky from the exterior, with the Christmas light like decoration, but the food was great. Here is what we ordered: - for starters we got Garlic Truffle Edamame. Tasty! I'm not a fan normally but daughter likes them, but these were the best I've ever had! -Lemon Premium Roll was good, we asked for no jalapeños. It would've been better with ponzu sauce on the side. It was drenched on the bottom and fell apart when picked up with chopsticks. Would've been better with Hamachi instead of tuna. -Blue Crab Handrolls (4) actually came with 4 separate rolls (blue crab , spicy Tuna, tempura Shrimp , and scallops) These were good but I wish they were rolled tighter. - The Baked Scallop was the best! What it lacked in appearance (looked like a loaf of corn) it made up for in taste. Overall I would come again, perhaps to try the Omakase.

Yelp
Amazing sushi. Appropriate portions (not loaded with rice) and high quality. It is omakase style and feels more traditional, which is refreshing since there are so many Americanized sushi restaurants using lower quality ingredients, serving giant rolls that are heavy on the rice and sauces. They have plenty to order from a la carte but I do wish they had just a few more rolls (with tuna in particular). Perhaps they will add more over time but again, it is traditional here so don't expect to see pages of rolls on their menu. Nonetheless, they did have a nice selection of rolls and I really loved their Hawaiian. Their spicy tuna on crispy rice was actually the best I've ever had. Ambiance was quiet and relaxing. Service was lovely. I am absolutely coming back.

Yelp
I've had Momo Sushi bookmarked on Yelp for quite some time, and tonight my husband surprised me with date night reservations here for their premium omakase. We had a stellar experience - attentive service, excellent fresh handcrafted sushi & dishes and a wonderful time overall. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Dined here on 6/20. Where do I start. The place is small so it shouldn't be that hard for the few employees working to keep up, or hire more staff. We walked in to face a large party's empty table piled with dirty dishes that sat. We were asked to sit at some overly large square table near the restrooms to wait for our table. There were 2 servers on: male and female. We had the female who clearly lacked training. She forgot our sugar for iced tea and whenever we asked a question she would laugh and say 'I'm not sure. Let me go ask.' Pre-bussing is not a thing here. After we sat, another table across from us sat dirty. No one cleared not one of our dishes for dessert. They literally sat stacked on our table and messy. Do not order the mochi. You get ONE piece of mochi cut in half for $12! I never bothered to ask the price of dessert as the options were rattled off verbally. I thought no big deal of ordering 4 mochi balls cut in half as I buy a box from them (about 12 in a package) for less than $10. $48 for four mochi balls cut in half!! What an absolute rip-off. Train your servers to clean as they go please. Clear other tables and put some importance of the appearance for other guests and the appearance of the restaurant. We will not be dining here again. Sushi Station on Van Buren in Riverside is where it's at!

Yelp
Great food and service. You can taste the good quality. Nice servers Been here a few times never disappoints.
google avatar

Yelp
Food and service were awesome. Very clean inside. Super fresh fish. We had 3 different rolls. The Momo Special was our favorite! The only thing I would change is the hardcore Japanese rock music.
google avatar

Rod R.

Yelp
Food is great the flavor is always the same and it never gets old. Place is nice and clean with a mellow feeling to it. Our waiter was really friendly and nice. I highly recommend this place if you're in the mood for Japanese food.
google avatar

Daphne D.

Yelp
There was plenty of parking and reasonable prices for the food. There was a generous amount of salmon given in the bento box so I was satisfied. It did take a while for one of my friend's meal to come out, but good service otherwise. There weren't many people when we went for lunch so it was a chill environment.
google avatar

Yelp
This place is by far the best Sushi restaurant within a 20 mile radius. We moved to Riverside from LA 9 years ago and we've tried a lot of places in the area. Most of the places are average. Momo Sushi is one of Riverside's Gems. I had to shake the owner's hand after our meal because for the first time in 9 years, I was deeply impressed. My wife and I are not interested in going anywhere else for Sushi in Riverside. The price is a little high but it matches the quality and preparation in my opinion. I highly recommend the Salmon Belly from New Zealand... it's very buttery! Excellent Quality. Excellent Preparation. Excellent Service. Momo Sushi, you are our new favorite spot in Riverside!!!
google avatar

Deena I.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious sushi! Hidden gem of a place. They have been open for a year now. First time here, tried this place on a whim and will definitely be back! The place is well organized, lots of tables and booths. The service can be a bit slow. We had to call our server a few times but it wasn't a big deal. The server took our drink order promptly and drinks arrived quickly. Food did as well. It was for when we needed to reorder. Their price is a bit higher than other sushi places but it is well worth it. The fish is fresh and absolutely delicious so well worth it! We had the lemon roll, momo sushi, tuna bomb. All wonderful! There is a parking lot right outside. What a delightful sushi place. Will be back!

Yelp
Best sushi in the IE. Everything was so fresh and delicious. This place easily rivals Nobu.
google avatar

B P.

Yelp
Still amazing. Head chef puts his heart and soul into his sushi presentation and preparation. Everything is perfect, down to the rice. You would not expect such a gem to be found in Riverside - close to Kaiser on Magnolia. The ambiance is nice with a large area and ample seating. If you love sushi, you have to try this place. If you don't like sushi, this place might convert you. Short YouTube video at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GB794NaF4Ck

Yelp
10/10 food, service, and ambiance. Table for 2 seated immediately on a Saturday evening. Great for friends, family, and dates. Would come back!

Yelp
My husband and I went for a week-night dinner to celebrate his birthday. It was a spur of the moment decision and a casual dining night. The restaurant wasn't crowded at all. Just normal occupancy. We decided to order the smaller portion of the Omakase menu. We were surprised to find a sushi restaurant with Omakase on the menu in Riverside of all places with a decent price. But the quality, and the presentation was quite lovely. And we were glad we got the smaller portion because it was still a lot of food! We were stuffed! We sat at the sushi bar and service was great. Attentive and fast. The restaurant also has their own parking lot.
google avatar

Esther D.

Yelp
Very pricey but sushi tastes fresh and has great flavor. The service was excellent. Great spot that I would return to for special occasions or when I'm craving amazingly delicious sushi.
google avatar

Rico M.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious sushi, very fresh. Portions were a bit small for the price but taste was a 10/10. The service was good, they forgot about us but it's just an honest mistake. The vibe is chill, I I've seeing the clear glass with fresh pieces of fish behind it.
google avatar

Krystle A.

Yelp
I'm giving this place 5 stars because it is really unheard of to have quality omakase/sushi around here in the IE. We didn't dine in, but my husband went to order and pick it up. U can't do any phone orders, or online, you have to pay and order in person btw. We got the salmon two piece, the Momo roll, lemon roll and the tuna bomb. All of them were very very fresh, we were surprised. And yes of course you would expect to pay for the quality. The three rolls we got were part of their premium rolls and they ranged anywhere from $22-25 dollars per roll. Now if you want quality, fresh fish this is the place to go, just expect to pay for what you get. It was so good. My favorite for sure the Momo roll, it had a citrus and crunchy onion texture. I hope this place does well in the IE bc it's really hard to find quality sushi out here and not in OC. I didn't dine in but my husband said the ambiance was really pretty and very fancy...but the area where it's at isn't lol but I mean what can you expect. It's in the same complex as Lowe's and Popeyes chicken and an urgent care lol. The surrounding areas are hella random. We also ordered the chicken karage for our kids, just mediocre tho, for $16 just go to Popeyes for chicken lol the sushi tho, highly recommend!

Aileen N.

Yelp
Momo sushi, what can I say but you're the best! I don't mind paying for double the price chirashi bowl, its worth it! . The fish is so fresh, the texture, right slice for the fish, so yummy . The service is good, nice ambiance. The ginger omg, I have to ask for a small container to go and take some home. Thank you! This is our 3rd time at momo sushi.
google avatar

Leyon L.

Yelp
Got ahead of myself and forgot to take the first batch of sushi that was made by the one and only Chef Garu. Excellent pieces, all were prepared extremely well. From the presentation to the taste, it felt as though everything was pretty much executed to perfection. Staff were very kind and made sure our hot tea were always hot and not warm. Severely attentive, not sure if that's a bad thing. The setup and the vibes were almost similar to your regular omakase shops in Japan. It was a very cozy & charming environment I would say. The food was top notch from beginning to end. Miso Soup Nigiri Appetizer Chef's Choice Sushi Tempura Dessert No effort was spared as each dish was such a delight. Coming back for more soon.

Yelp
Great sushi great vibe. I will definitely be coming back. In Riverside I feel like it's rare to find good restaurants. You either get good food and bad vibes or the opposite. This place has a nice ambiance and the food was excellent.
google avatar

Ariana G.

Yelp
First time here and everything was amazing! The specialty rolls, while more expensive than your average sushi around the area, is also a higher quality and worth it. We came on a Sunday night so it wasn't too busy which made it nice and quiet for chill vibes. Our waiter was kind, friendly, and attentive.

1st time here and it's the Best sushi. Waitress was so helpful. Loved the food she suggest was with every bite. We were glad it was not an all you can eat. The food we ordered was perfect

Yelp
Had seen this place open up in our city. My partner and I decided to check it out. The ambience is quiet and lighting is dim. Definitely a good place for a date night. It is not all you can eat, you need to order pieces individually or by the roll. We ordered a few different items. Shishito Peppers Hon Maguro Bluefin Toro Sushi Sake NZ King Salmon Sushi Seaweed Salad Rainbow Roll Sake Norway Salmon Sushi Hon Maguro Bluefin Tuna Everything was fresh. And was yummy! A little pricey but worth it. We will be coming back.

Yelp
i remember looking at the menu for momo when it first opened and being floored by the prices. in my opinion, they were staggering for this area. in LA or OC, i could see it. but for a small, unassuming restaurant off magnolia, i wasn't sold. i was given a gift card for my birthday and told to go check it out for myself and i'm 100% eating my words. this was some of the best sushi i have had in a long time. i mean, crazy good. we started off with the yellowtail hamachi carpaccio and the kumamoto oysters and they were both vibrant and refreshing. for rolls, we tried the rainbow roll, lemon roll (my personal favorite), and the tuna bomb. our server told us they only use fresh blue crab (not imitation) and bluefin tuna and you could absolutely taste the difference. for two drinks, two "starters," three rolls, and dessert, our bill was about $160. on the higher end for some, sure, but not unaffordable, and definitely worth every penny. you could easily triple that with some of the fun, high quality offerings they have on the menu. we will be back any time we're celebrating something or in the mood for sushi, which is often!

Yelp
As a bit of a sushi connoisseur I was admittedly skeptical that a spot 60 miles east of LA would be able to pull off omakase. I was quickly proven wrong. Momo's premium omakase is a great value, offering a delicious assortment of sushi and hot dishes that did not leave me hungry.

Yelp
Finally! I've been waiting to try this sushi place for a while and OMG! The decoration it's super nice. My son and hubby had the bento box and they were very pleased with all the items. They don't like raw fish that much so this was perfecto! I order the lunch special that comes with the delicious miso soup, and guess what? It does comes with tofu! Just like it should be. The little soup plates are so adorable and soup was full of flavor. The fish was fresh and delicious. I loved the presentation. Can't wait to go back. Service was on point. Here's a pic of my sushi long special. The ginger was so strong and kind of spicy. Yum!

Yelp
I really wish Yelp would allow half stars as this rating would technically be 4.5. I decided to take my wife out in a date and as a sushi lover, Momo Sushi really stood out with its quality and amazing reviews. I made a reservation for 5:30 pm, and the staff were very welcoming. Once we sat down, we were given a menu to peruse and did note that it took a while for us to get our waters. We decided in the premium omakase, a 12 piece sushi menu with appetizers and small treats trickled in for $150 per person. The tempo of the course was very well timed. So why the 4/4.5 stars? There were only about two to three pieces of sushi which really stood out, one of them being seared engewa. The addition of truffle or caviar did not contribute to the dishes side from presentation; one really couldn't taste the caviar or truffle additions. I agree with prior reviews that the mochi ice cream dessert left a lot to be desired.
