Went to this restaurant before a baseball game and it was packed. Didn’t have to wait too long for a table though. Garlic fries were amazing and the ketchup was either made in house or from a great vendor. No standard Heinz. Burger was juicy and filled my belly for the night. Drink prices are decent. Definitely cheaper than the drink prices in the stadium.

Great location and environment, excellent service, delicious food. Happy hour prices are also affordable. My favorite is the house burger.

If you visit San Francisco, this place is an absolute must! The food is not only great but also beautifully presented, and the atmosphere is amazing. The strawberry basil lemonade is unreal—I’m definitely coming back just for that. The service was attentive and quick. Thank you for having us!

pretty good place! good food and good drinks! i love their happy hour menu! $8 cocktails and $1 oysters! also their garlic friends are very good (arguably better that gilroy fries). good service and reasonably fast! outdoor seating is nice but the view is just park and cars going by! would go again!!

11/17/25 Update in response to owner's reply: I do appreciate your reply, and I completely understand Retail cost vs. restaurant costs. We dine out frequently in and around SF, and have a broad base of experience for comparison. That said, I made the comment b/c we have rarely seen a markup this high at casual dining establishments in SF. It's remarkable and I think it deserves being noted for others planning on visiting Momo's. As I said, we'll likely come back to try your food, despite the higher than average prices. INITIAL POST: We planned on meeting friends here for dinner on Saturday night. Unfortunately, G Maps has the closing time as 9 and they close at 8. No biggie, friends are running late, it's 7:30 so we get a couple of drinks until our friends arrive and we scout down the street to a place that's open longer. Our waitress was very apologetic, not her fault but sweet of her. So the down side, menu is WAY overpriced. Bottle of wine is $30 over retail and the drinks are $17 and they aren't that good. We'd go back for the service, atmosphere, and to try the food. Maybe the food will be worth the price.

I came here on a game day so it was busy & lively. Parking is horrendous if it’s a game day. I would advise taking public transit (The N-Judah line or T-line will practically drop you off right in front). They have indoor & outdoor seating. The staff was nice. The cost is your typical SF prices. Entrees & appetizers are about $15+ a dish; but, the food is good. We ordered calamari, tuna tartare, & I got a Cobb salad. Everything was delicious!

I should've been did this a long time ago December 2002 I met my husband over the phone. He was a US Merchant Marine and I had no clue what that was. We talked for two months. His ship came into Port February 2003 we met at this very restaurant. This was the day I fell in love in my life was forever elevated. We got married a year later we got divorced during our marriage. We had a child. My husband moved to Atlanta when he retired in 2014. I was just doing my thing. I decided years later now I'm gonna move to Atlanta myself our son we reconnect and we got remarried the next day all because of this restaurant I married the same man twice all because of this restaurant that night we went there was the first time that I ate calamari and I had no idea what it was but that man loved me and I loved him so thank you and when I come back home this summer, I'm gonna make sure to stop by there🚢💜

Momo's - Perfect Pre-Game Spot with Great Food and Energy Went to Momo's with friends before a Giants game, and it was the perfect place to start the evening. The vibe was lively, the service was friendly and quick, and the location -- right across from Oracle Park -- can't be beat. We started with the calamari, which was crispy and flavorful. The French Dip -- sliced New York strip, provolone, and a toasted French baguette -- was excellent and perfectly done. The Fish Tacos (Pacific Rock Cod, pico de gallo, serrano-cilantro slaw, roasted salsa, and corn tortillas) were fresh and full of flavor. But the real standout was the Pepperoni & Italian Sausage Pizza, loaded with fresh and smoked mozzarella, asiago, and finished with a drizzle of hot honey glaze -- absolute perfection. Yes, it's on the $$$ side, but between the quality, atmosphere, and unbeatable location, it's worth every penny. Great food, great drinks, and great energy -- Momo's is a San Francisco classic and the ultimate pre-game spot.

If you come here when the Giants are home, you'll need a reservation because the place gets packed. It's located right across the ballpark. The service was great and ambiance is fun and lively. The prices are on the higher end but the food was good and fresh. Cobb salad: it was filling, fresh, & good Tuna tartare: This was tasty and very good. I could've eaten the whole thing as a meal. Calamari: this was fried just right. Very good! Strawberry lemonade: very good Everything was delicious and everyone finished their meal. I would definitely come back!

We are regulars but they just added some great items to their menu. I had the new salmon with polenta and asparagus. My goodness, it was really delicious. I can't wait to try the mussels next. It's a neighborhood place for us, but it's a terrific place.

A highly convenient spot for pre-game activities, featuring generous portions in a tidy and cozy setting with indoor and outdoor spaces. Prices are slightly higher, but the servings are larger than anticipated. With a wide range of drinks and multiple screens showing the game, plus attentive service, it's well-suited for groups and families.

Grabbed a pregame meal at MoMo's. Loved the patio seating, cut down on the noise level of having all the excited Giants fans all talking at once. We could enjoy our meal and have conversation without yelling at one another. And this was "the spot to be" before a game apparently, the place was packed. But the food is probably just as much of a selling point as being across the street from Oracle Park. The food: the starters were artichoke dip and calamari. The other food brought to the table was a fire oven pizza, French dip with some amazing horseradish sauce, and a feta and strawberry salad with candied pistachios. All the food was spot on, and the salad was so fresh and tasty! I will now be looking for candied pistachios! If you're not a fan of crowds, watch the game schedule, but otherwise make a mental note to try MoMo's if you happen to be in San Fransisco.

Nice juicy Home Burger with crisp, hot fries. Waitress helped Wifey through the menu for vegan options (a little sparse). Don't expect to find parking nearby, unless you've made arrangements pre-game at Oracle Park. Directly across the street from the north gate, opposite end of the park from the Southern Pacific station. West Portal and Ocean Beach Munis stop right outside (among others). Service is reliable, steady. Salads contain cheese except for the one with strawberries.

Happy hour everyday when there's nothing at oracle park! Even Saturdays! Was getting peppermint espresso martinis for only $7 Perfect to come here before chase center.

Wow!! What an amazing lunch I had today with my husband. And bonus, they are pet friendly with i love because my Frankie is always with us when we explore SF. We shared a Cesar salad, and a delicious beed dip. My fries were cooked to perfection. I had a glass of wine and the hubby had a beer. Everything was great. Can't wait to come back.

I came here with my friend after the Giant's game one day. It feels redundant to discuss the price of menu items as everything in this area is expensive, however I did feel like the quality of some of the items that we ordered did not match the price. Caesar salad is one of my favorite foods and it's easy to mess up if you don't get the dressing correct. That being said, their dressing is not something that I cared for. I also ordered their clam chowder which has absolutely no flavor and not very many clams. I don't have a signature go to cocktail that I order out at bars because I love daiquiris but most bars do not have blenders or the syrups to make them. On the bright side my friend ordered the french onion soup and an espresso martini--both of which he enjoyed. We aren't regulars at this bar so perhaps we didn't know what to order however for the amount that we spent I believe we could've found another place in the area with better food.

I'm an avid Giants fan and I've always heard the commercials to check out MoMo's. I finally saved some room after a game and decided to see why it's a San Francisco staple. Enjoyed the vibes and food. Priced on the higher end for "upscale" bar type foods. Would definitely come back for happy hour with a group of friends! King St. Margarita & Strawberry Basil Lemonade - 5/5 - cocktails were sweet with flavor and pretty stiff. Just one really got the job done. Cobb Salad - 5/5 - Generous amount of ingredients that created an crunchy/refreshing flavor profile with each bite. The chicken was shredded into chunks with a creamy herb sauce, the bacon bits were on the bigger end and were crunchy, they halved cherry tomatoes to give you that burst of tomato, blue cheese crumble was mild, avocado was standard and the lettuce was iceberg and fresh. Wings - 3/5 - Buffalo/bbq mixture. Wings were plump and crunchy. The sauce was both mild in taste and spice. Chicken was served hot but the meat was dry, needing to dip in ranch for the best bite. Pepperoni Pizza - 4/5 - Greasy, almost thin crust, with tons of pepperoni and cheese with every bite! Very indulgent. Pepperoni did not have too much a crunch but still hit the spot. Served with red peppers and shredded parmesan cheese. Also paired well with ranch. Perfect size for 2-3 people to share. Service - 5/5 - went after a Sunday game and the staff was attentive and the food was REALLY fast! My gf and I ordered appetizers and a pizza, and opted for the food to come all at once. It literally came all at once in ~about 10 minutes! Ambience - 5/5 - It's a clean spot with lots of inside seating but still holding that sporty feel. Looked like eating outside was thing to do with many patrons as we walked in. Inside did seem on the emptier side but the crowd slowly rolled in.

Our server, Felix is what went well! It's hard to describe the pleasantries he brings to the table, literally, but here it goes... Imagine visiting a long-time and dear friend, whose warm greeting makes you smile every time since you first met. Imagine that somehow he seems to remember all of your favorite things. Imagine this special guy never letting you down, who's always been there for you, no matter how busy their life (or station) is. That's Felix. I'm far from the only one he's waited on that feels this way, yet, in a way, Felix makes you feel that you are. Thank you MoMo's, and hope to see you soon, dear friend.

It's a must for me to stop by here before and after games. Doesn't feel right walking past and the crowds are always immaculate. Have never had a bad time here. Food is always solid in my opinion, they have great options but sometimes it's not very consistent. Love getting their burgers and fries though, and honestly have definitely gotten a hot dog at the park or on the st before games and made room for a burger w a drink or some beer. Momo's is such a staple. You can't beat them

MoMo's is an American Bar & Grill right across the street from Oracle Park -- the perfect stop after exploring the South Beach neighborhood and waterfront. My friend had the House Burger, and I went for the French Dip. The burger was juicy and full of flavor, with crunchy lettuce, pickles, and caramelized onions adding the perfect mix of freshness and smoky sweetness. My French Dip was just as great -- perfectly cooked, served on an absolutely delicious baguette, and the dip tied it all together beautifully. Both plates came with a generous serving of fries, honestly the best I've had in a long time -- crispy outside, soft and creamy inside, and perfectly seasoned. The staff deserves a special mention. The host greeted us warmly and seated us exactly where we wanted. When our server was tied up with another table, another young man stopped by with a friendly smile to let us know she'd be right with us -- a small gesture that really stood out. Our server was cheerful, attentive, and calm, checking in just the right amount and keeping our water glasses filled without us ever needing to ask. It might get louder on game days, but for us it was a relaxing, friendly place with great food and great people. I highly recommend stopping by!

It was a very busy night, San Francisco versus the A's. We had a reservation. Everything was on time. The food was delicious fast friendly hot plenty of water plenty of refills big portions. The restaurant is very nice. Very clean price just right. I will definitely be coming back with my family.

We had an amazing time at Momo's for our Beacon Happy Hour last night! The food was fantastic, and the service was absolutely top-notch--attentive, welcoming, and so accommodating to our group. It's clear the staff takes pride in creating a great experience! The atmosphere was perfect for mingling and relaxing after a long day, and the happy hour specials were a great bonus. Truly a gem in the neighborhood--can't wait to come back! Thanks, Momo's, for making our community gathering so memorable!

Came in for a quick drink before the game, and despite the craziness, the two girls working on Monday 4/21 (Svetlana and Bridget), were so kind and willing to deal with my kind of crazy order. 10/10 would recommend going to see these women!!!

They have a really delicious French Dip Sandwich! The sandwich came in a baguette-like bread with a nice crunchy exterior but it was soft on the inside. The roast beef slices inside were plenty and delicious. But what really elevated this sandwich was the au jus broth for dipping which was so flavorsome and added so much depth in flavor. The creamy horseradish dip also helped. It also came with a side of fries which were also good. At $26 (June 2024) the price was outrageous though, but probably they jacked up the price just to cover the high rent cost in SF, so I think that was expected.

We were stuck in traffic and we had someone who really needed to use the restroom. Another friend in the car mentioned the folks at Momos were kind and would let us use their bathroom so we stopped there. Our friend was let in and I followed after her, but as I walked up the stairs while looking at my phone, the bouncer blocked me, got right in my face, and started screaming f bombs at me. I didn't match his aggression at all and explained that I just wanted to use the restroom and hadn't even noticed him there. He kept escalating for no reason, implied that I should fight him, and called me a Nerd as I left. Something was clearly not right with him. All of this came from him out of nowhere. His behavior was unprofessional and embarrassing for the establishment. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

Great spot for a bite before the baseball game, especially early in the season. It's close to the park and has great outdoor seating. There's fan made gear being sold nearby and it's a really great energy to get you going to root on our GIANTSSSS We had the calamari, the prawns, and the artichoke dip with a couple beers and some lemonade. Overall the food was great and the service was even better. My only complaint was that the prawns were like 4 shrimp in a huge amount of butter for like 24 bucks. I prob would skip that one but everything else was worth. Good price on beer too Would come back again!

4 stars for the before ballgame experience. No issues getting a table...we did reserve. Right next to the ballpark, good Bloody Mary's. Normal American fare, but the atmosphere is what we wanted for the game.

I stopped in Monday for a quick lunch at the bar. Food was good. I had the pepperoni and sausage pizza and a cold beer. Service was attentive and very friendly. The atmosphere is pleasant and comfortable.

Staying in the area and the front desk at our hotel recommended this place. 10/10! Laid back environment but with great service and food. We ordered the claim chowder and oysters and it was perfect! They have a very reasonable happy hour. The cup of soup was $5 and the oysters were $1 a piece. My waiter and overall service was attentive without being pushy.

It's such a good pregame spot if you prefer an elevated meal over ballpark food before heading across the street for the Giants game! It's easy to make a reservation via Yelp and it's packed so I highly suggest having a reservation on a game day. It was PACKED! Our server Dean was great and the quality of our service was not compromised by their high volume on a game day. Spinach artichoke dip: the dip itself was super yummy, I just feel that another type of bread would accompany the dish a bit better instead of pita bread Ceviche: great! I had a few bites with the jalepenos they were spicy but it's great if you like spicy! Margherita pizza: it tasted so odd...I think it was coming from the dough. It tasted a bit barbecue-y...we couldn't quite put our finger on what exactly made the dough taste odd but it wasn't your standard pizza dough. It was a bummer as I love margherita pizza but it just didn't taste right. Overall highly recommend momos!

Momo's is one the best restaurants in San Francisco. Perfect spot to watch any sport game, to have a meal with your entire family or to just have a memorable date night. The outdoor area is perfect when the weather is great - love being able to see SF giants play just across the street! There's also tons of heat lamps so even if it's a chilly SF kind of day, you can still easily enjoy the fresh air outside! Food is excellent! I loved their shrimp and crab Louie. Dressing was incredible and I had to ask for more! What really made me happy and thankful was that they were really attentive to my husband's lactose allergy. Not all restaurants agree to remove the cheese from their pizza, but Momo's had no issue with it (see photo). Service is top notch here. We recently dined here during the Super Bowl and as you can imagine, it was packed. Although there were tons of people, the wait staff were all super attentive, friendly and on top of things. I never had my water or drink glass empty. Loved the decor here. Check out all the photographer and learn a little about San Francisco history while having an amazing meal. Can't wait to be back and bring my kids next time!

Made reservations day of May 17 game in the morning through Yelp. We had to increase our party to 7 so it required an email/ phone message. Received an updated corrected reservation by email and everything was wonderful. Had our seats readily available. Service was prompt. Ordered prime dip sandwich, pizza and calamari appetizer. Fresh and tasty. Loud and festive in the patio which was great. We have been coming since the ball park opened and is a nice treat to meet up with friends/family before an event at MoMo's!! Definitely recommended

Bummmmer... came here on a busy night with the Post Malone Concert. We put our name down for a table, waited the 1.5 hours. Finally we were seated- again totally acceptable, and very friendly. We sat down ordered some pizzas - 15 minutes later our waitress returned to inform us they were out of pizza. So we ordered a couple side a fries in the place. 15 minutes later, our waitress came back and said they were out of fries. We checked out for our drinks, and left. Great staff, just a major bummer. Experience gets a 2 star. Wouldn't recommend on event day.

Food was good but I could hardly stand the overpowering stench of fabulouso cleaner. Not only is that a way over powering scent and toxic, but in a restaurant one should not have overpowering cheap cleaning product stench wrecking the olfactory portion of food enjoyment. I understand that some people are comforted by this scent as it reminds them of home, but a restaurant should not have strong scented cleaners. It wrecks the experience. Smell and taste are very interconnected. Even if I was not eating, the degree to which they've overpowered the environment with that stench is sickening. I could still smell it after leaving with a headache.

Came in to get drinks and food before my concert today. I looked online to see their menu to know what they might have and they had a menu separate from what looks like is the regular menu. So online it showed $13 for a cocktail and then when we got here it was raised to $17 for a drink. Everything is raised to make it more like expensive.

What a great experience. Was there on Sunday January 28th for the 49ers sponsored games watch. Talk to Scott earlier that morning to ask for vegetarian options. Although the line was long to get in (it was a special event) , once I got to sit down what great service. Say down at table 16 the table waiter was Juan. Pretty fast service to come over to ask what we wanted to drink. Soon came back to check to see what we wanted to eat. Prices was a little higher I think then normal but again this was a special event 49ers NFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAMEWATCH. The restaurant was electric . So I think I may have a gamewatch this upcoming college football season. Thank you Scott and the rest of the MoMos staff for the great host. LET's Go 49ers! #DoItForTheBay

I live in the East Bay so when Momo's was in Walnut Creek, it was my go to spot for happy hour. Unfortunately, that was some years ago and the Walnut Creek location has closed, but it didn't stop me from visiting this one in San Francisco. It's right across the giants stadium so it's perfect for grabbing a bite to eat before or after heading to the game!

Terrible services!!! Service should be known the menu and be les attitude we was open to enjoy a full meal an whit the service we just get the start!!!!

Food is incredible, the menu vast. Service is polite and fast. Huge liquor selection. Vibes are always good even on the craziest baseball game days. Recommend 10/10

Momo's deserves more stars if ya ask me. Our server Carlos was so friendly, warm and welcoming. He recommended the Italian Sausage Poppers and we were delighted with the taste! Great view of the stadium and love that it wasn't crowded. Definitely recommend if you're in the area or headed to a game :) enjoy!

Well, for starters (came in around 330 or so, before it was busy).... I was sitting at the bartop. The female bartender ignored me for 2 other guests who came afterwards before the bar became busy. I had to physically wave right in front of her to get her attention. It seemed as if it was intentional... After I ordered, got food, finished drink and it was about $30-31 which was fine. I left 2 $20 bills on top of the receipt which stayed there for a bit. She then grabbed it, said thank you, and did not bring back or ask if I wanted change (I had some $1s I was going to get rid of as tips when she brought back a 5 and some $1s, but that didn't happen... I finished about 5-8 minutes ago at about 440pm... I don't want to think it was a racial thing, but I was the only black guy at the bar... I'm not going to use her name but the brown haired woman at the bar is not the person I'd hire for my place (I am also a manager of a local restaurant, but did not advertise that)... If the manager of MOMOs wants to shoot me a message over this, that'd be great. I did see him on my way to the rest room before I left, but I needed to leave and didn't have the time to go through my experience right then.... But after being ignored for other patrons when the place wasn't busy, then taking the money without checking first and not giving change, to the only black guy at the bar is a bad look. Even if it wasn't racial, it's extremely bad service and stealing a tip from at least one customer.... Not good in any aspect... 1 star because the Mac & cheese was good. Negative stars from lack of service, or borderline hostile service.

Best place to eat before a Giants game! It's full of fans, good food, excellent drinks, and great service! It was really lively while everyone prepared to head over to a game we didn't have reservations and they were able to make room for us even though it was packed. Everything we ordered was so good! I can't even pick a favorite we loaded up on appetizers; Garlic Fries, Ahi Tuna Tartare, chicken wings, and an elote inspired corn dish. That was my least favorite but it was still good! The espresso martinis were made to perfection so good we each ordered another round! The garlic fries were very crispy and the Ahi Tuna tartare was full of flavor they definitely used fresh tuna! Pro tip Make reservations you might not be as lucky to get a seat there's always a great crowd especially during baseball season!

Always delicious, dependable, with excellent service. Scott, the owner, is passionate about making sure customers have an excellent experience. The clam chowder, pizzas, French dip, and steak are my favorites.
