Delicious! The broth is flavorful & right on point! If you are not a big fan of salty ramen & this place is a perfect fit! Check them out!

Momotaro is excellent ramen. You absolutely have to add the marinated mushrooms (one of the best individual food items I’ve ever eaten) The owners are friendly and knowledgeable and the staff is very helpful and polite. A great experience!

Google
Absolute hidden gem that we found while driving from the LA area to Monterey. Located in a marketplace (the Paso Market Walk, which appears to be dying), the restaurant itself is a small stall-style with seats around the front. We met the owner, who took our order, such a friendly and outgoing person! My daughter and I both got the shoyu ramen, me with the char siu and her with the spicy miso bomb, the food was absolutely fantastic! The noodles were perfectly cooked, the broth was so flavorful, and the char siu was tender with a bit of a char bite on the outside. We also shared an order of the karaage (Japanese fried chicken), and it was great as well. Can't say enough about how great the food and service were!

Google
The ramen was really exceptionally delicious in my opinion. It was definitely some of the best ramen I’ve ever had. I had the signature momotaro ramen, which was tonkotsu ramen with pork belly that was super tender and broth that was really rich and flavorful. I had low expectations considering that it is located in a food court in the very white and conservative town of Paso Robles. However, the food completely defied my expectations and was shockingly authentic. It was a nicely decorated place as well. The owners were also super nice and I enjoyed talking to them.

Google
Love this place! Always greeted by a great staff, I order the same ramen every time and just different add ons hits every time. Used to wish they had more of a “restaurant style seating” but the bar has grown on me. I love how they give you a little presentation every time of the different sauce and spices. Best ramen in the 805! Must try.

Google
This place is located inside a complex with multiple businesses. Street parking only. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Simple menu but has delicious choices. Love their spicy ramen.

Google
Didn’t expect to find a decent ramen place at Paso but here it is! Momotaro ramen is really good; shio is a bit too light for me (but probably be perfect for someone who wants something not too strong) but the chicken karaage is really good! Overall we will come back again next time stop by Paso.

Google
Food was amazing! We had dang near everything on the appetizer side, and the traditional Momotaro Ramen. Soooo good. The wife working in the front was welcoming and nice. Making sure we were doing good and if we needed anything, she was on it. The husband cooking in the back checked on us as we were eating and told us the back story. Overall a very good experience. I can’t wait to come back here again.

Yelp
Located in the Paso Market Walk is Momotaro Ramen! My daughter wanted "noodles", so we gave this a shot. If you want Ramen in North County, this is it. I ordered the Shoyu Ramen. Extreme thick, rich, shiitake, chicken broth. The Ramen is a lot better than the Ramen a lot of us were raised on from styrofoam or plastic packaging. Soft noodles. Loved the large shiitake, egg and baby bok choy in it! More richness fattiness from the shiitake, egg and herbal fresh snap from the baby bok choy. Everything was very clean, quick, and great customer service. We sat in the communal area, hence the to go container. Overall, if you want Roman, this is your place.

Yelp
Very well put together eatery, very clean and well maintained. Flavors were great, I am planning to go back to try each dish they have.

Yelp
I wouldn't say Momotaro is anything to write home about. The man taking orders was a bit short with everyone, very territorial over bar space (as we noticed, someone who got food who wasn't seated at the bar grabbing a napkin kind of became an issue). We snagged some spots at the bar which we learned was great to do because we got our food in a ceramic bowl vs the to go containers that folks who sat elsewhere than the bar got. I didn't find the ramen anything to write home about. Truthfully, it was a bit bland until we added soy sauce and lots of spice. $19 per Momotaro Ramen. We also got chicken gyoza for $9.

Yelp
This was the first spot we stopped by during our 2 day 1 night road trip to Paso Robles. Momotaro Ramen occupies a small section inside the Paso Market Walk building. The building has a tiny parking lot in the back but otherwise, street parking is the way the go. We got there at around 11:15 am, and most of the eateries inside the Market Walk were in the beginning stages of opening up. This spot only has limited bar seating so if you are one of the unlucky ones, you can always opt for take-out. You order and pay at the front, grab a seat and the wait staff will bring the ramen to you. We both ordered the momotaro which is their signature ramen. Order to food arrival time was short. They have a small wooden box of condiments which include chili oil, chili powder, ground sesame and soy sauce to further season your ramen. The momotaro ramen was average, good noodle portion but given the price, we only got half an egg. Egg was marinated well but the disappointment was the chasiu. It tasted like rubber, hard and too much fat plus it was burnt. If I ever stop by again, I would not order any ramen with chasiu in it. 2 stars for the ramen but an extra star for the great service. Our waitress was super nice, very bubbly and patient. She checked in on us multiple times to make sure we had everything. She's definitely the highlight of the spot.

Yelp
This is truly the best ramen spot on the central coast located in Paso Robles Market Walk. Growing up in LA, I can honestly say this ramen competes with some of the top ramen spots I have experienced. Momotaro offers authentic ramen defined by its depth of flavor, especially when it comes to the broth, which is the heart and soul of their dishes. Most importantly, every ingredient is homemade and their toppings are another area where their authenticity shines. The chefs showcase precision in cooking authentic homemade ramen - their talent is what keeps us returning. Overall, Momotaro's authentic ramen made with homemade ingredients is a carefully crafted dish where every element is designed to complement the other. The patience and care that go into making each component from scratch result in a symphony of flavors that transports you to a traditional ramen shop in Japan. The result is far superior to any shortcuts found in ready-made versions. It's an experience you can taste in every bite. The Paso Robles Marketplace is lucky to have such an authentic ramen spot to attract so many visitors.

Yelp
During a chilly overnight stay in Paso Robles with a craving for a nice, hot ramen soup, we found Momotaro Ramen online and decided to give it a try. The full name is Momotaro Ramen - Japanese Soul Food. Momotaro is conveniently located in the heart of downtown Paso Robles on Spring Street, a small restaurant in a building that seemed to be a food court of sorts, housing other eateries. We arrived shortly before their closing time and decided to take our order to go. We both chose the "shoyu" ramen ($17 each), described on the menu as "double broth · baby bok choy · marinated shiitake · ajitama · scallions." For an "extra topping" we both selected the "spicy ground chicken" ($4 extra each). Our total order came to $45.68. The young man who took our order advised that the spicy chicken was "moderate to very spicy" and, as we were to discover, he did not exaggerate. The to-go order was very nicely presented. The broth came in a large container that looked bigger than a quart but smaller than a half-gallon. Fitted atop that in its own container were the vegetables to be added in. In a completely separate container was the spicy chicken which was more appetizing than it looks in my poor photo here. Once all the ingredients were combined, the result was a very tasty, generous portion of ramen - certainly a meal in itself. The chicken was - as mentioned - SPICY - so we both took it easy on that, but added in enough to give our ramen an extra "zing." We were very pleased with our order. If you find yourself in Paso Robles with a craving for ramen - Momotaro Ramen is your go-to place. Recommended.

Yelp
Ramen was fine, but Jeff the server man was not it. One of our friends cut her finger trying to catch a bottle he dropped for him and instead of helping when she bled, he banished her to the bathroom. Puts a bad taste in the mouth. He came by later saying to let him know if he can help us with anything but we knew those were hollow words.

Yelp
Brittany was amazing and was so helpful with explaining what everything was on the menu. Got the Momotaro Ramen without the pork meat and it was the best ramen I've EVER had. We will definitely be back.
google avatar

Riley S.

Yelp
I think the ramen was pretty decent but Jeff, who was taking orders, was extremely rude and disrespectful to my partner...a bottle fell on her finger at the cash register and it started profusely bleeding and he didn't seem to care. She asked for a bandage and he looked down for one second and said, "No. Go to the bathroom!" And then proceeded to take more orders without asking if she was okay...fortunately the bar across from this restaurant had a very caring bartender who looked for and found a bandage as well as Neosporin for my partner. Jeff if you read this: Do better man, that was cold and incredibly uncool, learn some kindness and don't give your restaurant a bad rap.

Yelp
Delicious vegan option for miso wonderful homemade noodles Addictively delicious rice balls Pleasant gracious service Fun informal setting Looking forward to their new location this autumn in Atascadero!

Yelp
I was pleasantly surprised to find Japanese soul food prepared with love and authenticity today. Their signature ramen broth is carefully made over 72 hours with high quality locally sourced ingredients including tons of pork bones. The agedashi tofu and chicken karage are lightly dusted in mochiko flour - no wheat flour. This provided a light crunch with the thinnest layer of a crisp batter. This level of culinary witchcraft is so hard to find! I will definitely be stopping by to try more items whenever I'm in Paso Robles!

Yelp
It was a surprisingly authenticated Japanese ramen in a small town. The location was little strange. It was inside of a indoor market. The staffs were friendly. You can sit anywhere including outdoor seats, they will deliver to you. The vegetable ramen was bomb. They grilled the mochi (2 pieces) till crunchy outside then dropped it into the soup to imitate the meat. The soup was thick and chunky. They cook it so well even the veggies inside were extra flavorful. Such a mouth rich of experience in a bowl of noodle. Will visit again when I'm in town.

Yelp
On our way back from Santa Cruz, going through the town of Los Robles, we decided to try this location since it had one of the better Yelp reviews and it's ramen. Located in this industrial, trendy, social media picture spot, the exact location would be in the back center part of the building. This building had an amazing bakery, some good coffee, sandwich places, fruit stand, etc... it had it all. But we came here for the ramen. I've eaten hundreds of different ramen locations, from ones in Japan, to SoCal area ones, to East coast restaurants that claim to be authentic. This place, made with lots of fine details, but not be Japanese staff was pleasant surprise. The flavor of the soup was really good, just the right saltiness, the oils not over powering, and can taste the freshness of the ingredients. Noodles were the thin style (Hakata style), which worked well with this level of ramen. We also had some appetizers, the rock shrimp and gyoza. The rock shrimp was like eating a softer version of walnut shrimp, but with pineapple sprinkled on top to give it the sweetness, and the shrimp delicately fried just right. Tiny pieces of walnuts scattered, I stead of the big halves made each bite perfect. The gyoza was surprising as well. Wasn't expecting the thing style of wrappers, almost like an egg roll, but the taste of gyoza. Out of the two, I would go with the rock shrimp. Service was friendly and helpful. Lady that took our order, also brought it up to us on the top level dining area. Plenty of round tables, so no worries of just sitting at the counter. There are steps leading up or can take elevator. Lastly, the price is a bit ... higher end than I normally would pay at other ramen places. It's roughly $25 for each person eating here. But I can see the value on the work to put together these dishes. This is some thought, love out into each dish. The chefs must have had specialize training to make these dishes be the way they are... this isn't a Cooke cutter type of ramen, this is the type of food you expect from people that studied ramen making from Japan. Different, modern, and tasty. Wish the containers would be more appealing, but hey, we're here for the food.

Yelp
Amazing food!! Service was great!!! Try this place out you wont regret it. They also have a choice of beers from micro breweries from Japan!!
google avatar

Yelp
This ramen place really surprised hubby! He was very happy that he was able to have ramen soup ahead of a few days of wine tasting and drinking! They had good selections of sake but no Kikusui which was kinda weird. The ramen was very flavorful and comforting. I figured that would prepare his stomach well enough for all those reds for a long weekend. Service was very friendly and attentive. For Asians who love noodle soups? This is a solid place for a bowl of comfort ramen!

Yelp
Solid ramen in the Paso Market Walk. They give you a large slice of chasu. Got the Momotaro Ramen and it was full of flavor. They brought the ramen to our table which was a nice touch.

Yelp
I often frequent this establishment and let me tell you, the service, the cuisine and ambience is bar none!! Do yourself a favor and stop in and say hi to Matteo and Britney. They are the real deal!! The best Japanese cuisine in Paso!!

Yelp
Doing another review of my Son's and I favorite spot in Paso Robles to eat. Momotaro has great ramen, my favorite being Shoyu. Their broth is rich and deep with flavors. It's must try of your just visiting or a local. Located in the "Paso Walk" neighborhood and it's a great way to start your adventure in Paso Robles.

Yelp
Quick Summary Excellent food with a small countertop bar dining area. There are tables upstairs if you want to mix and match restaurants (they're pretty stern about not allowing other foods there; and you would have to use a to-go bowl to use the different table areas). Service was a hit or miss though, but food was fantastic. Food- 5 stars Gyoza- I was pretty impressed with the gyoza. They added the crispy bottom that really added a nice crunch texture to the gyoza. Would recommend trying it Momotaro ramen- the Tonkatsu broth was fantastic. The pork chashu was very good as well. The noodles did taste packaged and not house-made; it was good but not great. Overall, it was a splendid ramen bowl Service- 3 stars This was a hit or miss. The owner/manager was really helpful throughout. But some of the staff weren't the best. There was an egg missing in 1 of our ramen orders, and one of our friends had their order completely messed up. It is relatively new, so giving them some benefit, but it was a bit of a mess at times Bottom Line Excellent ramen spot. Definitely try the gyoza!

Yelp
My Ramen Resume: I'm from LA and Orange County where I ate plenty of amazing ramen. I traveled to Japan three times before Covid. I even make my own ramen from scratch after not being able to find ramen in LA and Orange County that matched Japans. I know the difficulty of making a decent ramen bowl. I was sitting at momotaro bar excited to be there. The smells from kitchen reminded me of Japan and gave me flash backs of the bowls I ate there. After reading some reviews I wasn't worried. Btw parking is not that big of a deal like one person made it out to be. Find a spot and walk over. Not that hard. I started asking questions about momotaro to reaffirm what I was smelling from the kitchen. I soon realized I was in for a treat. They were going to open in 3/2020, but had to postpone for obvious reasons. Still opening up a few months later during Covid. They survived through that time and that told me they have to be good! If you're still reading this. I never write reviews this long. This tells you I highly recommend it here. The momotaro ramen was amazing. The broth is stupid good. It was rich and temp hot! I enjoyed every sip of broth. They give a good amount of noodles I've ever seen. It almost felt like it was close to double the standard amount. The char shu was good, but that broth and noodles is a winner. I finished the whole bowl and was so stuffed. I also got to try some of their Japanese style white bread with matcha. They use this bread to make their sandos on Thursday. I didn't catch her name, but the woman at the front was very informative and also is the baker of the bread. I was pretty bummed that I didn't have enough room to eat a sando. That bread was pretty damn good. I am sad that I found this amazing place so far from home. But it gives me a reason to come back.

Alejandra R.

Yelp
We tried the karage, fried shitake mushrooms bun and a pork belly bun and OMG it was SO DELICIOUS. I did not expect much from the appetizer section and I was pleasantly surprised at how flavorful the sauces in the buns were and how fresh everything was. The service we experienced was also very kind and attentive. 10/10

Yelp
Ended up at Momotaro Ramen while walking around in Paso Market and it was a great unplanned dinner! We ordered the Katso Sando (which is a special item in the menu every Thursday) and the Shio ramen as our main dish. The Katso Sando was fantastic. The combination of the sauce, meat, and bread was mouth watering. The ramen on the other hand was something our taste buds weren't used to. The broth wasn't as flavorful and was a little bitter which was a little bit disappointing because my boyfriend and I love the broth of ramen. However, we don't think it was the restaurant's fault we didn't like the Shio ramen, I believe that if we ordered the Momotaro ramen, we would've loved it. Guess that's another reason to come back sometime!

Jesse S.

Yelp
Really good Ramen. The only things i wish were different is i wish the hours open would be 11am-8pm. Currently they close during times i like going. Actually showed up twice while closed now which is frustrating. Other thing is the chashu could be more lean. Aside from that the food is very good. Best Ramen in Paso Robles hands down.

Lauren H.

Yelp
Our favorite ramen spot on the central coast! Delicious ramens and great customer service. FYI it is currently located in the Paso Market walk. You can sit at their counter or in the general market seating

Me S.

Yelp
Hey all! So you walk into the Paso walk. It has the feel of a shopping mall food court. You walk up to the counter before seating yourself. Greeted by a friendly smile, which will navigate you through the menu. You make your order, find a seat, and wait. You wait, not for the time, but for the experience you're about to have. The pork just dances off your mouth. I went back 25yrs to prom every time. Just a first time experience each and every dish. The ramen , well let's just say it a first each bowl I get. Keys just break it down. Go, try it, and leaved satisfying. All that matters

Craig G.

Yelp
This is probably the worst ramen I've ever had. The serving size was very small and it was ridiculously expensive. If you've never had real ramen you might think it's ok but if you like good ramen, run away.
google avatar

Yelp
Whoah! Having lived in both LA and the Bay Area, I did not expect to find good ramen in the small town of Paso Robles. I reluctantly ordered from here at the demand of my kids... and sometimes kids are right! This little shop is located inside a super cute marketplace that has other wonderful vendors like a bakery, coffee spot, sandwich shop, wine/beer stall, gifts vendor etc. You order at the counter and can either eat at the bar, or outside on the beautiful outdoor patio. The ramen was AMAZING! The broth was perfectly rich and flavorful, the noodles were thin and soft which is my personal preference, and there was a good amount of chasu meat in our Momotoro Romen. The gyoza were great too, and the edges were positioned into a flower and fried into a crisp. The bun of the day was also SO GOOD. The bun is hamburger style (open), and just chalk full or tender tasty pork and other toppings that went great together. Definitely come check out this marketplace if you're visiting and stop by this ramen shop!
google avatar

Vittoria H.

Yelp
This is located indoor a chic plaza among other vendors and eateries. They have bar top style seating at the counter or outdoors. It's a casual place. The price point is a bit high for ramen. I believe I ordered the first one on the menu. Portion was good and the chasu and broth were both delicious. The bowl was served in a paper bowl which is fine. I'd only come back if in the area.

Yelp
A review from a Bay Area native who is used to having delicious ramen only a few hops away. Was excited to try this "Japanese soul food" ramen spot on vacation in Paso Robles... it wasn't good .. but wasn't bad... but we won't be coming back. 2.5 stars. 1. Parking is weird. It's not really where you think it is... just keep walking until you see a big patio out front. It's kinda like public market style but not in one big food hall. It's kinda long and windy. Parking spots are narrow/compact and behind the building. 2. Food is meh. Let's start with the ramen. Egg was the highlight. The pork looked good, but not as tender as I'd expect. Broth lacked depth and the seasonings did not mix well. All spice comes on the side. Noodles were cooked well but thin, and floury (think a little too gummy). Bea sprouts were fine, green onion was great lol. We ordered a $10 side of chicken karaage. The most disappointing karaage I've had. Greasy, soft, and a terrible value. No seasoning. You literally get 7 small pieces for $10. 3. Service is meh. Lady ordered before me asked for Pepsi. The guy was sold out. I asked for two cups of water. He said he's out of cups. Ok. Out of cups. Got it. No high chairs available in the market for toddlers. 4. My ramen was attacked by a couple of flies sitting out. The area kinda smelled like urine because it is dog friendly seating and I'm not sure if they're hosing down frequently. 5. Counter space is neat, concept is cool, food delivered to your table & presentation is nice. It's just the food doesn't match up to par with anything nice I have to say about this place, which is the only thing that's important to get me to come back!

Yelp
A great Ramen spot, the broth is amazing and all the components of the meal are perfect. I highly recommend this place if your are touring the central coast.

Yelp
Amazing Authentic Japanese Ramen in Paso Robles I've traveled extensively through Japan and eat Japanese food at least 3 times a week. The one thing I love is authentic Japanese Ramen and Momotaro nailed it! The noodles were tender but firm, broth has the depth and richness of pure Japanese pork broth and their toppings were fantastic in taste and texture! Overall, this place is a TEN STARS... so if you want a fantastic bowl of Japanese noodles on a cold day/night in Paso Robles, you will LOVE this place! Spence

Yelp
We walked in around 7 or 8pm and walked in 2 circles until we found out it was located in the food court. Google Map kept saying its like where Finca Mexican food is. We ordered at the cashier and sat outside for our order to arrive. They have indoor seating too. We ordered the Momotaro, Shio, and Shoyu. The Momotaro was the best one, but still not that good. Shio and Shoyu were so bad..The broth all barely had any flavor. They all came with 1 egg and barely any toppings. Some had few strands of bean sprouts, 1 thin bok choy, 1-2 slice of mushroom, 1 piece of seaweed. Only the Momotaro had a piece of Chasu. We also ordered a bottle of sake to share. Expensive ramen. Never coming here again.
google avatar

Maria O.

Yelp
This restaurant is located in the Paso Market Walk which has a handful of restaurants in one location. We arrived after 1 pm on a weekday so there was plenty of counter seating. I ordered the vegetarian ramen, which included Mochi, green onions, egg and broccoli. The ramen was cooked perfectly and I enjoyed all of the other ingredients. The broth was very salty and overwhelmed the dish. Service was fast and friendly.
google avatar

Ada H.

Yelp
This place is inside a food eatery. Very cute, clean and brand new building. There are dessert, coffee, ice cream and all sorts of cute shops here. Ramen is delicious with very flavorful stock as well. They use very thin egg noodles here with bean sprouts

Yelp
We stopped by here last night for dinner before heading out to the Field of Lights. We picked this spot cause we wanted something quick for dinner. We ordered the momotaro, kaarage & some of the old fashion donuts the server told us about. We didn't realize this spot was located in sort of a food hall area but the outdoor seating was nice. Loved that they have little fairy lights on as the night got dark. Service was great, they brought everything out to us. The food was served in to-go bowls which makes sense because it would be a lot of work to constantly monitor where a their bowls are with people dining inside at the bar and in the outdoor area. I though that the ramen was pretty good, thought the soup was a little overall salty. Big and thick slices of char chu which was delicious and not too fatty. The kids in our party defining slurped up every last bit of the noodles & loved the karage. The donuts were not bad, a little too doughy for me tho. Would come again if we were in the area!

Joe D.

Yelp
Great flavor in the veggie Ramen! We usually go to Momotaro once a month. Great service too!

Yelp
I really wanted to like the vegetarian ramen considering how nice the service was, however the broth wasn't for me. It wasn't overly salty but I couldn't quite tell what the ingredient that was putting me off was. I asked them what was in the broth. Leeks, two types of mushrooms, soy sauce (so far, so good), and then I discovered the culprit - burned onions. I'm so not a fan of a burned anything taste. Too strong and off putting. So sorry. Maybe add another vegetarian ramen bowl to the menu with a different broth? P.S. I see other reviews on Yelp about the "stale" broth. It wasn't stale. It was the burned onions. A waste of twenty bucks. The two stars are for the service, which was good.
google avatar

Yelp
Closest thing to Japan in SLO County. Majority of the menu items are homemade. Apps I highly recommend: chicken pieces, shrimp things, and the gyoza. Spicy ramen was great too! Staff made the process very smooth.

Yelp
So, we just arrived at the Paso Walk, browsing through the different food places in this little rinky dink place. I got ahold of their menu, told the waitress I'll just show it to my wife... she was quick to tell me to put the menu back and do the QR scan for their menu... I didn't mind doing that... but she was a little snooty... just lost a customer... for a piece of paper... I could have ordered $40-50 worth of food. I've been coming to Paso for years now... I guess it's welcome to Paso Robles...

Changmin L.

Yelp
Wow. This is the worst ramen I ever had among more than 100 places in CA/HI/Japan etc. I ordered momotaro and Shio ramen. Both had almost no flavor in the broth and the noodles were not well cooked with starch like taste. The soup is eventually very thick with the starch from the noodle over time. The staff was okay friendly but no special. I saw some of the reviews like mine but I don't understand how people like this place.
google avatar

Rick C.

Yelp
Matteo hits a home run. We've been waiting for Momotaro to open and it's been worth rare. Flavors amazing, rich flavorful. Had the vegetarian and added the spicy ground chicken - I know oxymoron but yum yum yum. And the fried chicken is a must. Paired it with the lemon ginger cider at SlO Cider. Everything was perfect.
google avatar

Daniel B.

Yelp
Terrible ramen. Greasy salty and no other flavors. Tasteless noodles. Expensive and bad. Just don't.
google avatar

Mike M.

Yelp
I've been here twice. The first time something was off with the broth in the ramen, it had a stale taste. Not sure if I caught it on a off day, but my ramen and the two friends with me all has the same experience. None of us could eat our meals. I decided to try again, about 6 months later, took my daughter down with me, and had not great experience from the get go. The lady told us we couldn't sit there at the counter because daughter had a juice from the sandwich shop next door. We carried on a conversation that was more or less the girl behind the register not letting us order without having a seat picked out in the courtyard. Too much hassle for me, and anyone with a young kid. Too many hoops for some noodles. The food may be better then before and poor service isn't the owners fault necessarily unless staff was instructed to do so. So 2 of 5 seemed fair to me.

Yelp
Surprisingly excellent ramen in Pas Robles. Highly recommend. Had their Tantan Ramen. Was excellent flavor and the broth was very well balanced.

Yelp
As a member of the service community I am not a fan of leaving negative reviews. That said, I was extremely disappointed with the hospitality at Momotaro. The young lady who helped me was kind and knowledgeable about the limited menu and overall pleasant. The issue I have is that when I ordered, I asked to sub the Chashu pork with Spicy Ground Pork. She accommodated but when I looked at the bill she had charged me for the spicy pork. When I brought this to her attention she said, oh yeah, we don't sub protein, you have to pay for both. Excuse me?! I have to pay for it even if I'm not getting it? That's correct. HAHA! This is completely unacceptable and hilariously preposterous. It goes against everything we learn about hospitality and being kind to our guest. Definitely not coming back...

Yelp
Excellent ramen! Nice service. Fun atmosphere. Yuzu was new to me and delicious. Cucumber appetizer was great too.

Yelp
The food is amaaaaazing! The husband & wife combo are great. They make sure everything is good, and make you feel welcome. I can't wait to come back here when ever I'm in North County. We had pretty much 1 of everything on the appetizer side, and the Momotaro Ramen of different variations. Everyone was happy and full.

Yelp
I had the Momotaro Ramen, added half an egg and spicy ground chicken. It was amazing and easily 2 meals. Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Best Ramen Ive ever had. So deep in flavor. So smooth. The noddles are great. Big bowls too.
