It was alright. I was not thrilled about the food but was ok. Price was accesible, pretty fair I thought. There is clean bathrooms available. I liked the fact they had a non smoking area available for non smokers. Good customer service. Waiters were courteous and attentive. I was a bit disapointwd with the restaurant theme/ enviroment and set up it self, it felt very improvised with a bunch of tables squezed together. It was a bit thight in my opinion.

If you want a quiet, welcoming place with delicious food, eat here. The staff were very friendly, the food was delicious and it had a lot of cool antiques. We were in town visiting and we felt like regulars! Highly recommended

Breakfast was great! I had mom's kitchen sink omlete and a side of oatmeal (because I can't eat gluten/bread). They were kind enough to switch out the bread for me ❤️. Hot sauce was really delicious too. I do wish they had real coffee creamer (not powdered) and fresh lemons for our water. Service was outstanding!

Powdered chocolate milk? Come on now. No barbecue sauce? WE ARE STILL IN Texas right? Other than that, overall good food, great service and a cute atmosphere.

Mom's place Is Great for breakfast 🍽️🍳🥞the food came out perfect to order. The atmosphere was pleasant and the owner Susan was our server. She made sure we got everything we wanted.🤗🌼 service was fast and the food was hot and delicious.😊 By fare they have the best breakfast in the area. Don't be confused by Google maps the gourmet waffle shop doesn't compare not even close .🚬smoking is permitted. This is the only restaurant that you can enjoy a cigarette with your coffee ☕ in the area. Fyi the coffee was great too 🙂 they also have a separate 🚭non-smoking room just for those who rather not. enjoy 😊

I havent been to Moms for lunch in a while, but it is still great. The service was great and my chicken fried steak came out fast and hot. I wont wait so long to come back. Maybe for dinner tonight...

Great home cooked breakfast and lunch! Locally owned and the food taste like home. To top it all off they even have homemade fried pies!!! They close at 2pm and aren't open on Sundays, so make sure to check them out when you can!

Great food and service. Smoky environment. Totally didn't even know smoking was legal anywhere in Texas. But the food was just amazing. They do have a no smoke section. But you can still smell it all the way from other side of restaurant. We had Salmon patty and it was nice me of the best home cooked meals in a really cool environment.

Food tasted great and was all made fresh. Biscuits tasted good but I had to cut them with a knife. My guess is they make them early in the morning and serve all day. I was in at 1100 am on a weekday. Omelette was good and had real food nothing fake. I would recommend Moms Cafe.

Upon taking the first bite of my hamburger steak I pulled a 6" hair out of my mouth. I was offered a new plate but had lost my appetite after eating hair! You would figure they'd offer a comp for the price of the meal but they just took my plate and marked it off the ticket. Still expecting to pay for the rest of the food. So I'll be going back to work hungry and will never eat at this establishment again!! If I could review 0 stars I would!!

Generous portions and friendly staff. Traditional diner vibes. All of the breakfast items we ordered were good! There is a smoking and non-smoking area (separated by a wall) which is surprising since most places don't allow smoking indoors anymore.

One of original places to eat in Pottsboro. Great breakfast with waffles or pancakes! Service is awesome and people are very kind. Highly recommended!

If you're at the lake don't go anywhere but here for a really good breakfast. Skip the drive thrus, chains, and hotel spreads. It's not a greasy spoon type of place but the kind of breakfast that warms the belly and the service makes you feel good.

Family friendly restaurant with down home options. Bean and rice, are delicious and full cowboy breakfasts! Owner is hardworking and delightful. Smoking and non-smoking sections.

Great food. Perfect stop after a hard morning on the Lake. I really like the staff and the food. I will stop here every time I'm in Pottsboro.

The food was great stopping while on a staycation. It exceeded my expectations with the smoking sections. And also the service was great as well. No wait on a Saturday morning .

First time dining in this quaint place. Was warmly welcomed in this mariner styled atmospheric family owned café. Food portions are massive and fairly priced! Ordered the Mom's Kitchen Sink omelette and the Chicken Fried Steak w/ eggs. Got a freshly baked cherry cobbler to go along with the leftovers! Really enjoyed our time here and always make sure you support your local family owned small businesses!

Gathered with some friends for a round of breakfast. Sat in the nonsmoking section and could not smell any smoke odor. Had the 2eggs, 2 sausage patties, hashbrowns and toast (other options instead of toast were biscuits, biscuits with a side of gravy or a pancake). Ordered over easy eggs and they were cooked perfectly, the sausage patties had great flavor (and were bigger than what you get in most restaurants) and the homemade hashbrowns were crispy on the outside and tender in the middle. This was my second visit within a few days and the first time was not a fluke. The folks who had the biscuits, biscuits and gravy said they were outstanding. The friend who ordered pancakes couldn't finish them because they were so big and he said they were very tasty. The coffee was a good medium roast with zero bitterness. Best restaurant breakfast going on in this area and cheaper than the bigger name brand guys. The waitress was very friendly and professional and received a very nice tip.

Nice location with nice people and good food. It's just not my favorite only because they allow folks to smoke inside.

What a great find. Homemade all the way. Sweet potato fries, chicken fried steak, tenders, onion rings and mashed were fabulous. Sit on the West non smoking dining room and be delighted by the lake kitch and homey feel Get the pie too.

Foods ok but Smoking is still allowed in this restaurant. You have no choice but to walk through smoking to get to the non smoking area that still smells like smoke. So if your a smoker this is might be the last place in Texas you can smoke inside while you eat.

The food here is awesome. They have 2 separate rooms. One of them is a non-smoking room while the other is smoking. I totally recommend thistiny place. Great customer service. Food gets to your table on time. The price can be fairly above some people's comfort zones, but worth it!!

We are taking a respite weekend and looked for local spots. This one came up so had to try it. The portion sizes are plentiful. Hash browns were my highlight. Food tastes like it was made at home. Some of it good (Hash Browns, egg), and some of it just meh...(Chicken Fried Steak and pancakes), Service was friendly and chatty. We like that. The feel was like being in Mom's house. Since smoking was allowed, I'm glad they have a non-smoking area on the other side which diminished the smell greatly. Bottomline: Very cheap, food is ok, service/staff are friendly. Should be be in the area, we would go again if no other options.

Bad service. Waited 10 minutes to get drink order and place our food order. No drink refills available. Another 30 minutes until our server came out and tell us they are out of green beans. This is when we decided to save our money for a better place and left which they had no problem saying "ok bye" as we exited.

Small hole in wall, well truthfully, it was the ONLY non commercial chain eatery for miles... and I was very happy with the burger, until I tried the onion rings... THEY WERE SO DAMN GOOD!!!! We did return to this place twice while in town and had the same great service and quality of food.

Amazing breakfast! Huge omelettes. Pancakes light & fluffy. Eggs cooked perfectly to order. Sides are well portioned in size. Service was exceptionally friendly & fast. Staff were very welcoming. Bathrooms were clean. We are definitely returning on our next visit.

One of my favorite cafes. Best breakfast. Quick and easy. Friendly staff. Old fashioned. Close to home and my family loves it to. We get the breakfast sandwiches with sweet potato fries ! Delicious

This is a bit like two restaurants. One side is for smoking and the other non, with the kitchen in the middle. The service is very friendly, as we expect in a small town. I've had breakfast there a few times and liked everything they served. For lunch I usually have a burger, which is good. I'm very picky and they're nice (cooperative) about changing things to suit me. I've never had the daily special but I've heard others say they are good.

Great "Mom" and pop type place!!! Food is excellent! My waitress (Rachel) is amazing and so friendly, she really makes the place.

Awesome place. Food was great. Had BLT with egg and cheese. Staff was friendly and fun. Others had pancakes and omelettes. Everyone said their food was great. New place to eat when visiting lake texhoma.

Went for lunch, friendly staff, well cooked food, nice and creamy gravy over a tender chicken fried steak. Service with a smile. We would return again
