Google
Whole Foods main competitor. Prices are much better here and quality is matched. Just wish they'd upgrade their hot bar/ ready foods. I found alot of unique, local, and tasty foods that not even Whole Foods offers. And they support the local Philly economy too.

I would skip this place and their racially profiling security guards. Walked around with a weekend bag to grab a couple of items and had a security card following me up and down the store. The fact that he was Black didn't make me feel any better. I've been in the store before and haven't seen them stop any of the people who are actually stealing so I guess the point is just to make paying customers feel uncomfortable. I'm refraining from using poor language but these words don't express how disgusted I am with the experience of being in this grocery store

Google
I will get more content next time I go but I love Mom’s Organic Market. The concepts great and the people are really nice. I don’t go enough because it’s almost 20 minutes away from me but I’ve never had a bad experience there. Solid parking and it’s in a good shopping center.

Google
I’m giving this place a 3-star rating because they don’t open until 9 AM. This morning, I decided to go to Reading Terminal instead to get a juice and a prepared meal for lunch. Moms is a bit pricey, but the organic ingredients and friendly staff make up for it. Maybe they could consider opening earlier during the week and focusing on smoothies, juices, coffee, and other beverages from Naked Lunch?

Edit: Staples accepts batteries - AND you receive store credit! Mom’s doesn’t take recycled batteries anymore because they’re trying to prioritize rechargeables There’s a QR code for where you can bring batteries but the QR code doesn’t work. I asked an employee for recommendations and she said she didn’t know and wouldn’t find help - mind you I went in at 9 AM and there was no one else checking out. She just began rummaging through her waist bag and mumbling instead She’s the reason why I’m leaving a one star.

🚨 SERIOUS SAFETY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE ISSUE 🚨 I’m genuinely shocked by what happened here. I had just purchased alcohol at this store. Because there was some issue with the registers, I had to move to a different line—and accidentally left my paid-for bag of alcohol right by the front entrance on the way out. Realizing this, I immediately called the store to both: 1. Warn them that a bag of alcohol was left unattended by the entrance, where literally anyone, including underage customers, could just grab it and walk out, and 2. Ask them to simply hold it for me as I was heading back to pick it up. What happened next blew my mind: they hung up on me. Not once. Not twice. THREE TIMES. No "let me check." Just… click. Not only is that wildly unprofessional and disrespectful to a paying customer—it raises a serious liability issue. You’re telling me a grocery store is comfortable leaving open access to alcohol by the door and then refusing to even speak to someone trying to prevent a problem? At best, this is gross negligence. At worst, it’s a complete disregard for public safety and basic human decency. I’ve never written a review like this before, but this kind of behavior is unacceptable and needs to be addressed immediately by store leadership. Customers deserve better—and so does the community.

The concept Mom’s is built on is commendable & though I feel like I spend an arm & half a leg when I shop here, I feel like it’s money well spent supporting this establishment. I’ve been vegan since the early 1990’s, so I’m no stranger to health food stores, this place reminds me of old school neighborhood organic markets but on a larger scale. When I’m here I’m picking up produce, seitan, tofurkey products, plant milk, vegan burgers, protein bars & powder/vegan supplements & laundry detergent. They also carry a variety of vegan jerky that a lot of their competing grocers stopped carrying, happy to still be able to pick up Primal Strips here! If you’re living downtown it’s conveniently located.

The produce and other items are excellent!!! However, if you are "Black" you are definitely racially profiled in Mom's Organic Market and this not being a victim or being paranoid. It is pathetic to be racially profiled when spending money in a store. The little chubby man with glasses who is in the office talking in the ear piece of the security if the actual racial profiler. I am done spending money since 2018 until 2025, I can't do it. PUT A WHITE ONLY SIGN ON YOUR DOOR ALTHOUGH i'M SURE YOU DON'T RACIALLY PROFILE PEOPLE FROM THE ASIAN CONTINENT.

Yelp
I never realized how many organic options existed out there until I discovered Mom's! The contents of their produce section varies. All of their products are organic and they have lots of snack options as well. They also had these cute little basil plants that I regret not buying when I saw them last. Stop by Naked Lunch for a tasty and healthy meal as well! The portions are large and always end up being more than one meal.

Yelp
On a recent trip to Philly I stopped in Mom's Organic Market to stock up on groceries for my home stay where I could cook. I am currently living in San Francisco so San Franciscans in Philly can think of Mom's Organic Market akin to Rainbow Grocery in SF. Mom's has a great variety of local and organic produce. Hard to find items that you would find in a good well stocked natural food store or cooperative like Mom's is. Staff is friendly. The layout of the store is a labyrinth that can be confusing like a rubik's cube too far gone yet with a little patience and perhaps asking security, staff, or one of the regulars they can help you get your learning curve to navigate the store of organic natural food product heaven. Within Mom's is the Naked Lunch vegan restaurant which I will return to have a bite there as it looks interesting. I am a proud graduate of the Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics at Naropa University in Boulder, CO where I received the William S. Burroughs scholarship. I did my thesis on William S. Burroughs and William S. Burroughs wrote Naked Lunch aka the cut up novel for which this restaurant is named. Since I was in Philly two weeks I was mixing up dining out at the wonderful vegan foodie scene in Philly along with cooking at my homestay. For cooking at my homestay at Mom's I picked up the following: Soymilk Local and organic blueberries Bananas Garnet jewel sweet potatoes Limes Avocados Organic granny smith apples Red cabbage Ginger root Sweet yellow onion I am pretty sure all the produce was organic. Mom's has been family owned and operated since 1987. Great bulk bin items. Great produce. In a word, great. Mom's sets the bar high for a natural food store. They are like the special forces of natural food stores which is quite alright in my book. Each day Mom's states customers prevent 9,233 grocery bags from being used. Mom's has banned over 250 ingredients from our products storewide. Mom's has chosen to print their receipts on BPA and BPS free paper products for the safety of it's community and the environment. In a word...Yes!

Yelp
Got the sushi bowel for a quick lunch. It was ok. Could have been elevate with some pickled ginger or more complex flavors. I asked to add Cilantro when I noticed how unflavored it would be...Most likely won't be getting that again.

Yelp
Poor customer service experience. Profiling of customers and harassment by security based on discriminatory practices. Unprofessional and rude store manager.. and poorly trained and unprofessional assistant managers. Staff is not held accountable by store manager for rude and poor business practices. It used to be a better shopping experience... but the customer service has declined drastically over the last year,

Yelp
I love Mom's. I won't do Rewards cards and can't stand self checkout. Mom's feels personal. They have the stuff I want. Meat is honestly labeled, great fruit juices, more than what I know vegetables. This is the only grocery store I haven't had a meltdown. Only quest I have is bread. Pain de Campagne by Cresthill Bakery was discontinued at Hole Foods and it is so good. I will stand out front with a sign if Mom's would get this bread.

Yelp
I took a walk to MOM's from work because my local Giant and the Heirloom Giant on 8th and Market does not carry the Ezekiel Tortillas I was in need of. I knew MOM's was a little bit further and sold a lot of organic products, so I took a roll of the dice and won. MOM's is on the smaller side of the major chain supermarkets but still has a rather large selection of products. They've been in business since 1987 and have several stores up and down the east coast. All produce is certified organic, they have "banned" 250 ingredients from their stores, and they "take into account animal welfare, the environmental and social impact of products, and more." The store has a whole bulk section where you can fill your bag and pay for exactly what you need. They have a beauty section that all products are cruelty free and they give preference to organic and fair-trade products. They have tea leaves by the ounce. There's even a whole recycling area where you can drop off old sneakers, cork, denim, etc. and for the time being, Christmas lights! I found the layout to be simple and easy to navigate, clean and well lit, and a bit industrial as it is in a warehouse-like building. Staff was pleasant and friendly. Prices I felt overall were reasonable, if not on the high side. If you're conscious about how your products get to the supermarket and how they are made, MOM's takes a lot of that work away from you and you can rest assured that the products you buy here are usually going to be better than what you'll find elsewhere. You may not find all the brands you want or are used to, but someone made them a match for MOM's. Hopefully, you'll like that brand.

Yelp
I recently purchased meat from here from the meat section, and apparently the refrigeration was not up to standards and I got an upset stomach and food poisoning and I've been sick for the past two weeks. Do not shop here!!! You will seriously regret it.

Yelp
They are more similar to Sprouts on Broad Street than Whole Foods or Trader Joe's. Great options for Vegans, vegetarians, gluten free & other specialty diets. But ...the options are mostly frozen or shelf items. Limited fresh produce in the front.

Yelp
What a fantastic organic market! Love this grocery store. I wish it was around when I lived in Philly regularly... but, now that I know it exists, I make it a point of going in whenever I'm in town. The store is presented well, very clean and have a nice selection of varieties food items that you won't find in most places. The folks working there are both friendly, helpful and professional.

Gary D.

Yelp
Great grocery store with tons of organic options. Very easy lay out to navigate the store and tons of super friendly employees.

Yelp
Amazing quality for everything examples like, snack choice, groceries, smoothies, etc. great service! There's help always offered, the ambiance is amazing.

Yelp
I love this market! Since I try to buy mainly organic for my family, this place really is the bees knees when it comes to healthy groceries. Price wise, the selections are less than Whole Foods, which I think is pretty impressive since they carry a ton of great items. The people working here are super nice, helpful and friendly too, which never hurts either. Everything is very clean and they have a huge selections of fresh produce, prepared stuff, yummy desserts and tons and tons of snacks, which is great for any family with picky kids. My only complaint is I have to drive 15 min away to get here. I wish it was in my backyard!

Yelp
For me, MOM's is all about convenience and reduced packaging/eco-friendly options. It's close to home and has some things that I can't find elsewhere: bulk household cleaners and soaps that I can fill my own containers with as well as some bulk items that I can put into compostable bags. They also sell some personal care brands that I prefer and can't find anywhere else in the area. They sell milk in glass jars, too. I make my own yogurt, and this means I can make it without buying plastic jugs every week. They've got some good snack foods as well. You can sign up for email receipts, which they associate with your credit card, so you can avoid another piece of paper. There are drop-off bins for batteries, corks, and some other hard-to-recycle items. And I'll tell you the big bonus for me: 2 hours of free parking downstairs with validation. You need to spend $8 for validation, but that's easy to do here. I can charge my electric vehicle and get some other errands done nearby without the breathtaking parking fees.

Yelp
Got a bowl for takeout from the deli...super friendly guy and reasonable price, especially since it's HUGE! Healthy choices, allergy conscious, and ingredients posted and/or available upon request. Muffins are vegan and 100% whole grain today, yay! I appreciated the free cups of chilled water in the drink case. I was feeling pretty dry, and grabbing one of those was perfect. I also picked up some snacks for the plane tomorrow...nice to have organic, vegan options galore!

Yelp
OMG! It was hy chance I found "MoM"! Love it! Clean, new foods and vegetables I never encountered! Pleasant shopping experience! I will visit again. Customer service was great and checkout was quick!#$$ Overall experience/4 stars

Yelp
I love this store. The whole chain is just amazing. They have such wide selection of healthy and specialty products. This store has even more selection than our local franchises in Virginia. The staff even let my family in before the store officially opened once when they saw them waiting outside.

Yelp
This store is clean, well-organized, very attractive. They are also observing the usual COVID-19 transmission prevention protocols. I felt very comfortable coming into the store. My one recent visit, however, wasn't for shopping - it was to drop off the corks I've collected over the years for recycling. It's not a big deal, I guess, buy why contribute to the landfill when there are alternatives? There are actually very few locations in the Philly area where corks can be recycled, but Mom's is a convenient option. I called the store to confirm that they still do the cork recycling, and I got a very articulate store employee who confirmed that they do, and she explained precisely where in the foyer I'd find the recycling bins - and how they do the recycling. When stopping in, I was greeted at the door by an employee, who, seeing that I was bringing in the corks, offered to take them off my hands directly. Will be back soon for an actual shopping experience, will update then.

Yelp
They carry a bunch of stuff you can't find anywhere else. Prices are pretty reasonable but the shelf tags don't always reflect what they ring up at the register so be sure to check.

Yelp
Naked lunch is delicious and Diamond provides excellent customer service! A must visit.

Yelp
I go here after work sometimes and I am most of the time fallowed by security while I shop. It's a shame because the workers are helpful and friendly but the only other black person inside is fallowing me while a skate boarder was putting stuff in his book bag the isle over and made out with a backpack of stuff. I will be filing a complaint with them as well.

Yelp
I love Mom's Markets! I reviewed this one in the past, but that review disappeared, so here I go again. This location is the 3rd Mom's Market to open in the Philly area (the store originated around Maryland). The first, the tester, was in Bryn Mawr quite a few years ago. The second was Cherry Hill. Finally this one opened, a bit later than planned. Better late than never! Much like if Trader Joe's and Whole Foods had an environmentally-conscious baby, that is Mom's Market. They have plenty of organic produce, healthy snacks, vegan and gluten-free choices, and humanely-raised meat options. This location is my least favorite of the 3 in the Philly area. (My favorite is the one in Bryn Mawr, and you can find that review linked at the bottom of this one.) They do have the best variety of products compared to the other two. They also validate parking (so up to 2 hours free parking) if you buy a certain amount of groceries from them. Great perk! Logistics of this store and staff training are my issues with it. Frequently it's tough to find staff at Customer Service. They are friendly when located. I question the staff training at this location. They tend to neglect the bag credit Mom's Markets give customers for bringing their own bags to checkout. The staff consistently forgets to reduce that $0.10/bag. I always have to ask, "Is the bag credit included?" 4 out of 5 times, they forgot. It's inconvenient to have to return your grocery cart into the cart drop, then get out of the store. You can't exit from the cart area, so you have to loop around the back of the elevator and into the check-out lanes to access the exit door. Every now and then I sport my raspberry beret and pop out from the in door, but this only works if someone is entering as I return my cart. I'm thankful Philly has a grocery store in the heart of Center City. It was greatly needed. I'm ecstatic it is a Mom's Market. I just hope this store trains staff as well as the staff are trained at other Mom's Markets, and a new system to exit when returning a cart would be helpful. For my review of the best Mom's Market in the area: https://www.yelp.com/biz/moms-organic-market-bryn-mawr?hrid=0PqNlCzNRHS5uN12iw_9cA&utm_campaign=www_review_share_popup&utm_medium=copy_link&utm_source=(direct)

Yelp
Today I bought a black bean burger without bread from Mom's on 30S 11TH Street, Philadelphia PA. I asked for it to be placed on my custom salad. I also bought a Pink Lady juice. I paid for my order $20 something. Cashier told me to wait to the side and she will call when it was ready. I was excited! I have been want to try this place for a long time. I got my order and said thank you kindly. Didn't think I had to check for quality service. I WAS SHOCKED to find that the lady who did my order burnt my bean burger! And instead of apologizing and creating another, she quietly took the burnt burger, flipped and tucked it in my salad! And put the toppings on the leSS burnt softer side! UNEXCEPTABLE SERVICE MOM. Yelp
There are crickets, nuff' said! But more importantly, this is the new answer to whole food go-ers. I came here on opening day, and the staff had multiple free tasting sessions, coupons and fun-ness. The vegetables were fresh, albeit a bit more expensive than the other available options nearby. There are some occasional sales that make some of the other fancy organic options more affordable, but I wouldn't call them cheap. There are some fresh veggie/salad bowl options (for about $9-11) and some readily available yogurt parfait. I do like the affordable $1 bags that they give out for shoppers. At the end of the day, if I'm desperate for fresh organic options with a recent paystub, I'd really consider stopping by this place. Otherwise, I may just make a TJ run.

David B.

Yelp
I don't have expertise about the various food preferences and whether this store addresses them. I can only compare it to other specialty grocery stores like Whole Foods or Di Bruno's. It is one step below Whole Foods, no question, in size, selection, prices, and convenience. It had no prepared food section. A sign posted promised free parking, once you enter the parking lot and can't exit a sign promises free parking only if you spend 8 dollars. I spent over a hundred, but I found that rather annoying. The parking was scary and the exit ramp is labelled such that the exit lane is on the left, that was weird. I couldn't do ALL my grocery shopping in this store that's for sure, I would need at least one other stop. If I worked at Jeff or lived in the area I guess this is a nice resource, but I don't think it is worth a special trip.
google avatar

Morris B.

Yelp
For a good while I avoided this place because I assumed it was going to be a bit overpriced, but talking to friends and hearing theysometimes have specials I figured I'd finally walk in while passing by. It's a pretty nice looking market as expected but I was surprised at the variety of items available. I'd personally never seen cashew yogurt before I came in to MOMS. So out of curiosity that is exactly what I purchased. Lol I wasn't too excited by the sandwich options I saw so I stuck to getting basic items. The line moved pretty fast and the people who work there are very accommodating and friendly. I personally would go to MOMs again for novelty grocery items, but I couldn't do my main shopping there. Overall it's a great place.

Yelp
Yes please! A small food court, specialty items, amazing organic, fruits, vegetables, oh my! This place really does rock! I wish they carried more baked goods but otherwise, yes, I am loving it here.
google avatar

Eva C.

Yelp
Prices are not bad for an organic market. The staff has a chill vibe. Relaxing place to pick up a few things or specialty items. The dried mango (nothing added) and banana chips (sweetened) are two of my favs.
google avatar

Samira A.

Yelp
I love the selections at this place especially the Asian and Mexican seasoning and sauces. The produce is always fresh and reasonably priced. And the staff is friendly. What I don't like is that they allow dogs in this place. On many occasions I've seen customers come in with their dogs and no one stops them. It is so unsanitary to have these dogs near open produce or in the bread section or just anywhere in the market. Please stop letting people come in with their dogs! I'm seeing this happen more and more in food places and it's disgusting.
google avatar

Retna S.

Yelp
No more sampling. There are a lot of gluten free and dairy free products and local items too. Super helpful and friendly staff

Yelp
My fiancé and I are constantly disappointed by this stores extremely rude customer service. You do not have to go above and beyond to be nice to someone all the time, but a simple hello and goodbye would be exceptional at this point. I really do not enjoy complaining, but after tonight's visit I am very bothered that their very unkind employee (one of many that we have encountered) couldn't even say a single word or look at us after telling her to have a great night!

Yelp
I honestly almost cried shopping this store! It was as if they not only hand selected my favorite organic vegan items, but also left me suggestions for new incredible finds, just my style, at every turn. I've been to the Mom's in Cherry Hill before, which I enjoyed, but I swore off shopping at this closer location before even heading there strictly based on the address near Market Street. The hassle to park, or so I thought, wasn't going to be worth it. Much to my surprise, they actually have a basement parking lot, which is validated with any $4 minimum purchase! The store is definitely on the smaller size, but for me, it's quality not quantity here! I found so many amazing finds, all of which I loved... I was so impressed with the nut milk section!! Absolutely incredible! Every kind of nut you can imagine...cashew, peanut, walnut, almond, hazelnut and macadamia nut too!! The Dr Bronner's selection was so vast! Perhaps the widest variety I've ever seen! The more difficult to find raw version of Synergy Kombucha was easy to find here. I found my açaí packets I buy online here in the freezer section! I'm obsessed with these new Figgy Balls, which are a raw energy ball and also the Remedy superseed protein drink! Both incredible delish and high in protein and fiber! I saw watermelon seeds and activated raw seeds also. Their raw vegan options are plentiful, which is hard to come by! I tried new nut "meatballs" which were super tasty as well as some vegan and gluten-free cookie dough. Yum! The all natural self-serve bulk laundry was genius! Way cool! I also saw some sweetgrass I have only seen in the Southwest region of the country in Native America reservations! Way cool! I also saw some wheatgrass slabs for sale! Amazing! In all of my years juicing and making smoothies at home, I never knew where to just get some to bring home. I also loved how Mom's highlights goods made right here in Philly! Shop local...yesssss!! I was so incredibly happy shopping here and look forward to returning soon! Prices were comparable to the other big natural foods store were all familiar with, but there was something more intimate and "homey" about Moms. Not sure this place is going to be for everyone, but for anyone with special dietary needs, it's unreal!! I love knowing every single thing in here is good for me! The staff was super friendly and offered me a complimentary Mom's reusable shopping bag since I was a first time customer to this store. Nice touch! Much appreciated!

Yelp
I am borderline obsessed with Mom's. Full of local produce, bulk goods, and glass-bottled dairy, it is almost a substitute for the Willy Street Coop (almost). It also has recycling bins for the standard plastic bags and batteries but also shoes, corks, and oyster shells. I have never had to wait more than a minute or two at checkout, which makes it easy to pop in before catching the train at Jefferson. (Even when it looks like there's going to be a wait, staff magically materialize and next thing you know you're checking out.) Compared to the Whole Foods on South, the shopping experience here is much more pleasant--and you get to spread around your dollars and support someone other than Amazon.
google avatar

Kathy P.

Yelp
I do not have any dietary restrictions but I still find Mom's the best market in my area (12th and Walnut). Quality produce not shrink-wrapped (even Wegmans has gone that route). Helpful staff. Wonderful seasonal produce (garlic scapes, figs, oysters from Chesapeake oyster farm, etc). Great bread from Metropolitan bakery - 2.69 for a baguette vs. 4.95 at DiBruno - and other Philly bakeries. The BEST tasting organic milk under the Mom's label from local Amish dairies. They carry VanLeeuwen ice cream - 6.95 vs. 10 bucks at the VanLeeuwen store around the corner from me. Free parking in attached garage; l just push my cart over and also pick up my boyfriend's favorite IPA in the store. This area would be a desert without Mom's and I'm including Whole Foods in that assessment. Almost forgot: the compost drop-off salves the conscience of this long-time gardener. Thank you, Mom's!

Yelp
I knew that this location had arrived to Center City, but had not made it over until now. A large part of my job includes recipe development, so I am always in search of a few ingredients that can be difficult to find. I called ahead of time, and the woman who answered the phone was very helpful - she looked up the quinoa flakes that I was in search of, and then went the extra mile to check the shelves to make sure it really was in stock. While in the store, I decided to pick up a few other things that I usually would purchase online. The prices seem comparable to whole foods, and some of the things that I wanted were on sale (yay!). I really enjoyed seeing the bulk foods section, as well as the bulk spices and oils. One thing I grabbed from the bulk spices section was Jamaican jerk seasoning, which goes for $15 on Amazon in a massive container that I would never get through. I found it here, and was able to purchase just what I needed for just over $1. The cashier who helped me was the only person I interacted with from the store while there. She was very friendly and we chatted a little bit about some of the recipes we've both made with a few of the items that I picked up. All in all, I had a great time there, and I will definitely be back whenever I need any specialty health items.

Yelp
Moms has a great selection of natural, and organic foods, supplements, household and beauty products. All the produce is organic, much of it local . Great bulk section, including Frontier herbs & spices, honey, vinegar, oil, soap, etc. A lot of hard to find unique vegan products. No fresh fish dept, but nice selection of sustainable canned and frozen fish. Prices are average, maybe slightly more than Whole Foods on some items. However I am always able to find great sale priced things that I need, and some things I didn't know I needed. The store is immaculate, the staff are friendly and helpful. Never seems to be crowded here either. Finally, they sell beer and wine! On same side as ready to eat food(someday)
google avatar

Justin Y.

Yelp
Mom's Organic has become one of my go-to 6 pack options in center city (w/o stopping in a bar). It's quick, friendly and clean. Pros: Pretty amazing Beer and wine collection for a 6 pack store and prices are more reasonable than other "big" selections in the area. They also include growler options of rotating beer. I haven't tried it yet and I'm mildly concerned about the longevity of such an option. Lots of milks, cheeses and other items that you can't get in many other spots. The rest of the items are similar to specialty stores like Whole Foods, but a little bit calmer. I've only been during off hours, but I would stop here during the right time of day. Cons: Kind of expensive other items. Quality looks just okay - namely for produce. Conclusion: It's great for a center city stop and carries a wide variety of interesting foodstuffs. Take your time though because it'll add up fast!

Really nice addition to the neighborhood! I work close by and had a great time checking out the stores grand opening yesterday. It is a health nuts paradise. They have a great variety of organic produce, as well as a large freezer and refrigerated foods section. If you're into bee keeping this place even has bee gear for you and your hives! The prices seem a bit high (I paid 7.89 for a half gallon of OJ, and $4.99 for Kombucha- not on a tap) but then again you are in the heart of the city. I will definitely go back to pick up random groceries I need after work.

Yelp
I first went to a MOM's Organic in Baltimore and fell in love, and so I'm happy to say that the Center City store is just as great. Prices are very reasonable and there are tons of sales and buy 1 get 1 free options. The best part is their $15 for $30 deal on Living Social and Groupon! A few store highlights: -Premade foods that include tons of vegan and ethnic options -A large vitamin/health/beauty section where you can get everything from vegan b12 to incense -Bulk sections (including spices, nuts, beans/legumes, etc) where you can purchase reusable containers to reduce waste -Fresh organic produce!

Yelp
My daughter and I hopped in here after dropping mom off at the tattoo shop. We were sticking up on groceries for a short stay at our hotel downtown. Literally everything you could want and no extra fluff. Super efficient space and flow throughout the store. Easy to find anything. It was our first time here and we were in and out in 10 minutes with a couple bags of groceries. Friendly and helpful staff to boot!

Yelp
Excellent organic market. It's not my main source for groceries, but it has specialty items I enjoy. Also, produce appears to be in better shape than Whole Foods.

Yelp
I shop here more as time goes by, esp. for vegetables, dairy products, eggs, and bread. The vegetables, esp., are fresh and they have a good bread selection, including challah. They have choices without being overwhelming, and enough cashiers so that any wait is minimal. For the products and brands, their prices are competitive. In the vestibule of the market, facing the street, there is also a box at eye level, to leave or pick up books, cd's, etc., and I sometimes leave items there.

Yelp
3 Stars because of the unnecessary price gouging. There's a lot of different things you can find here that you can find at your typical Walmart or Target. Way more expensive than Whole Foods. It's very pricey, so I would only buy specific things from here and not my whole grocery list. I feel like they should make it more accessible to low-resourced individuals as health improves overall economy and many issues we have in this world. Girl who attended was very friendly, which is always a huge plus :)

Yelp
I'm definitely a fan of MOM's! In the beginning of Covid, I became a more humane, plant based eater. I found frustration in a lot of grocery stores where they didn't offer vegetarian and vegan alternatives, but I love MOM's! I love all of the meat alternatives such as Dr. Praeger's veggie burgers, and they have so many of their items to choose from! I also love Gardein meat less frozen prepared meals, and again, they have quite a selection!! I have found myself trying out the meatless meatballs, the sesame chick'n and also the pork-less bites, which were delicious, my favorite!!! They also have a huge selection of frozen desserts and Arctic Zero is my favorite, they have a lot to choose from! As for the produce department, I love the loose celery available, and my Guinea Pig is a huge fan of that! I enjoy the bananas, grapes and berries too. I also enjoy the So Delicious oat yogurt! They have some prepared meals too, some which I have enjoyed more than others. They have a lot of protein bars available, very reasonably priced! They have seltzers, lots of yummy snacks, I loved the sweet potato curls so much that I devoured them very quickly, a very salty but tasty alternative to traditional snack food. I typically bring my own shopping bag and I save 10 cents per bag. I find that I get a lot of food, but the price is very reasonable! Like other people said, I could come here quite often and be very content. In fact, I have a friend who often comes to browse the herbal supplement section and she loves coming to the store, she introduced me to it. The aisles are wide and spacious, and I have always felt that I had room between me and another shopper, for the most part. They have a free place to drop off old books, recycle shoes, I believe eyeglasses too and also bring compost. My suggestion is to have local delivery available, which they haven't implemented yet. I'm very happy shopping here, it's a plant eater's paradise!

Yelp
Reasonable prices and carries beer/wine, which makes it a really convenient stop for groceries as well when I'm in the area visiting friends. Although not as large as Whole Foods, the selection of local, seasonal produce and products is fantastic. The employees are really friendly too.

Yelp
I happened to stumble across MOM's while walking around the area one day, and was pleasantly surprised with this organic market! Produce is a little overpriced at the store but they have a great selection of snacks, dairy, and a nice machine that turns whole nuts into nut butters! They also have a small area for hot food and beauty products. The facility is clean and organized, a great place to shop for whatever munchies you're in the mood for.

Yelp
Who are these angels who work here and how can we have them in every store in the world? By the time I make it to MOMs each week - after one sitter cancellation, one sick kid, three gridlock fiascos, and a parking lot shift, my nerves are shot. In swoop the caring, crunchy, friendly team at MOMs, guiding me through with thoughtful direction and tasty cheese samples. They've helped me to the car, provided a just-because gift card when there was a parking lot issue, and always been so friendly and nice. The prices here are the best. I don't have to worry about what's really organic or study labels, I can trust that it's safe for my family. We made the switch from Whole Foods and I see no reason to go back. MOMs has it all, and for less money, too.

Yelp
Pros: fresh and quality produce, spacious aisles, friendly staff, option to recycle several items (shoes, jeans, etc), very convenient location close to Market Street. The Mom's brand of granola (Michelle's brand) is the best granola I've tried. Cons: no bakery (although they carry select types of bread from Metropolitan Bakery), for meat /fish eaters there isn't a deli /seafood section, expensive produce.
