We came right after Sunday Service at my church and apparently a lot of people came here for the same reason as us… the place was packed, the ambiance was GREAT, you could hear everyone talking and still enjoying the music… the vibe here felt soooo great!! Their service was TOP NOTCH, even with just 1 waitress for the whole place and while it was PACKED, she made sure she covered every table and made several rounds to see how everyone was doing. I can’t wait to be back… Their food was definitely of the bestest best best I have had… everything was freshly made and they “cook” right in front of you, which made it even better, you can actually see why this place was so packed! They are very careful with the food and loved being able to see that! Everything about this place was ABOVE AND BEYOND EXCELLENCE!! Coffee, food, service, every category deserves 5+ Stars. Can’t can’t can’t wait to be back!!

My niece wanted a specialized ice coffee from this location. She claims that it's delicious. I'm am simply and wanted just black coffee. The service staff need customer service training. You are told that you need to get your own sugar. napkins need to be requested.

This is a super cute and cozy coffee shop. Love the lo-fi music playing. The decorations are super chic and fit the ambiance. I want to drink ☕️ here all day!!! The staff is also extremely nice. The latte I had was delicious along with the croissant 🥐. I will be returning to this place more often. ❤️

This place is totally a hidden gem. My dad lives less than a mile away and hadn't even noticed it was here until I found it on Google and brought him here. Not only was the breakfast and espresso top notch but the owner was so kind when I lost my wallet that day and went out of her way to search her security footage to see if she could help me find it. Being here made me feel so at home and happy to be visiting my old neighborhood.

Love it here! I always love stopping by here. I highly recommend the coffee, mochas and pastries. I'm so glad that their second location in Yonkers recently opened, too. If you're looking for a cozy coffee shop with great coffee, I recommend stopping by this place.

Mon Amour is a great find in the neighborhood and is right next to the 1 train and the bus. The ambience is nice and always clean. I tried chai latté and the almond croissant, and it was sooooo good the chai was a tad bit on the sweet side I would prob ask for less sugar next time. My friend loved her latte as well and loves coming here for a quick stop after our weekend runs. The staff is very attentive and provided excellent service. Loved this placee!! Has become one of my favorite to go chill and good spot!! The service is always amazing! The servers are really friendly, accommodating and welcoming!! The sandwiches are TO DIE FOR! And really fresh!! Price is VERY DECENT! Have been back without picts. And will definitely be back lots more times!! Really recommend it!! 10/10

Definitely will not be returning here... The service here is a disaster. This place is mediocre. I do not even know where to start, but you have no right to try to treat someone like sht... especially someone who continued to bring money to your business! The blonde older woman is a bully... one of the other employees told me that she is the owner of this place. She lacks basic knowledge on how to run a restaurant. She is arrogant and this business will suffer because of her attitude... If you are bitter, do not take it out on a paying customer. Why was this woman trying to argue with me because I did not want my hot coffee in a paper cup? I have been here a number of times and my coffee always comes in a mug-- it is my preference. All I asked for was for my coffee to be in a mug and she almost hopped over the counter, screaming! I literally felt like she was going to assault me and I was going to have to defend myself!

I've passed this place many times and to my regret never went in. Today I decided to try my luck. This place is so quaint and warm definitely a very cute stop to enjoy some yummy items. When you walk in the place smells delicious. The display of goods just has your mouth watering. You want everything. Loved their croissants I had 2..... Thank you for your service..

I visited Mon Amour Coffee & Wine for the first time on Sunday afternoon. I decided to dine in over my the small seating area. I had the turkey bacon, egg and cheese on a pretzel croissant, along with a flavored iced latte. The sandwich appeared small but it was quite filling. The pretzel croissant was the perfect buttery flakiness but substantial enough to hold the sandwich contents. Service took a little while but that was due to the never ending crowd. Clearly it's a popular spot. My iced latte was alright. I think if they used the pumped syrups instead of caramel sauce it would have detected the flavor more. Next time I'll try an extra shot of espresso. I was hoping to round out my visit with a dessert pastry but, most sweet options were sold out. I look forward to visiting again.

Have been back a couple times and it's always busy, but still feels friendly and cozy. Most recently got a skim milk cappuccino - barista asked if I wanted cinnamon (bonus for asking) and also presented it with the cutest flower spoon! My companion got a glass of red wine. Someone had pizza that smelled amazing. Bathroom requires a key and was very clean.

I am obsessed with this place. Everything I've ordered from here has been AMAZING. The price is slightly elevated compared to other cafes but for the quality, it is worth the money. The area it is around doesn't have better options than this in my opinion. If you love breakfast foods- this is the place. The place is always clean, well decorated and the staff is always helpful and kind. I recommend looking at the online menu to know the full product list because I get overwhelmed looking at all the options in store. 100% will be back.

This is a gem of a spot! My partner and I were stranded for a few hours due to a flat tire and we were looking for a place to hang out and wait. Mavis discount tire is around the corner so this was perfect. The breakfast sandwiches were great as well as the coffee and the wine. We came in at a busy time but we didn't have to wait long for a table. Our friends who live in the area said that they had come here often, I was happy that we found this place through Yelp.

A great little neighborhood spot for coffee/tea/wine/food. Can be crowded because it's small but high quality makes it worth it.

I love this spot! I've been coming here more frequently with my homegirl since we both WFH and love coffee. Mon Amour's coffee is amazing--I always get a caramel or coconut latte with oat milk and whipped cream. The food is sooo good as well. I usually get the prosciutto arugula flatbread and I recently tried the chicken flatbread and both are delicious! I love that they add fig marmalade to some of the flatbreads. Their food always looks and tastes fresh so I'm not surprised. They also serve wine and beer if you're in the mood for a drink. The environment is super chill and nicely decorated. I love that they dim the lights closer to the evening. I've been having so many cravings from this place as of late! I look forward to trying other things on their menu. Mon Amour seems to be pretty popular among the Uptown community, so if you're around and haven't checked it out yet, you definitely should!!

Everything here was amazing! The Cuban Panini is life changing! The staff Johaira is the sweetest and makes the best suggestions! I recommend this place a thousand times over!

Its like I live here. Breakfast, here. Lunch, here. Out for some wine, here. And before covid it was the poetry nights. This small gem is such a staple in the area. Perfect place to sit for some tea and finish up some work. Wifi and outlets are readily available. Before sitting they take temp and info for covid tracing. The croissants are always fresh. My fav is the avocado on a toasted croissant, to die for! The have a cute reward system that lets you earn as you spend. I do warn you, the wait is longer on weekend mornings.

I have come here twice and both times have been good experiences but today was exceptional. I came here last night and I had the hot chocolate which was quite delicious along with a cinnamon pastry. Then I had a glass of the red sangria which was quite good. My sister was unsure of which wine she wanted and she was offered a sample. The service given to us was amazing, Irene was such a wonderful waitress. She was very helpful and gave us great tips. She was very welcoming and never rushed us even thou they were closing. She was attentive, she would check on us regularly. I look forward to going back for happy hour. The first time I went I had a chai latte which was quite delicious. This is a wonderful place which I know I will be a regular in.

We decided to come here because a friend of mine kept posting about them on Instagram. I appreciate the measures they take to practice social distancing. For example, the employees wear masks and gloves, there is a plexiglass barrier between the customers and the baristas, and they encourage customers to stand 6 feet apart. Plus they take ApplePay. The drinks were delicious. I had a mocha latte with coconut milk, and my girlfriend had an iced chai latte. They were so good that we even switched halfway through drinking them. The pastries were good too. The almond croissant was exactly what I needed. I'll be back.

I'm rarely in the Kingsbridge area- but after scoping out a Thrift store nearby, I couldn't leave here without visiting Mon Amour. I wanted the complete experience and enjoy my Chai and a Vegan pastry in peace. But street parking was a no-go and I parked on MTA's bus lane. So I had my 2 eyes on the girl ringing me up and 2 eyes on my back to avoid a damn ticket! Brick walls. Chandeliers. Large Communal table. Other seating available. French-ish flair- all give you a cute first impression. I mean...the whole place is adorable. Amour has high-top seating facing the street- but if you're lucky to snag the only front-row corner seat...more power to you. Large Glass containers all filled with pastries- plus there are quite a few Vegan ones too! Since I was avoiding a ticket, I just grabbed a hot Almond Milk Vanilla Chai and a mini Vegan Banana loaf to go. Loaf was super tasty. And even though the Chai was already mixed- it was ok. Service was nice. Ventilation? Could be better. I smelled a bit like food from top to bottom. Price? Not on the low end- but it didn't break the bank either. I think I get it- whoever the owner is- she or he has definitely set themselves apart to bring such a sexy spot in the Kingsbridge neighborhood.

I discovered this place a couple of months ago, and since that moment I became a loyal customer. The staff members are very polite and the food is amazing. My favorite combination is avocado toast with an egg on top and a hot latte with oat milk and caramel. Prices are good enough because they offer top quality and freshness. On top of everything described the place is completely clean and calm. If you need a moment for you to study or to be out of stress and noise this is your best choice.

I live close to it and never had the chance to try this place. When you first enter, you feel like you are in a real french spot. The owner is there and the attention y great, as well as the service. I ordered a butter croissant with ham, cheese, tomato and egg with a Hot Chocolate. Everything was delicious!! Definitely going back!

They started out really great, but after recently visiting quite a few times, the experience was disappointing. The servings have become increasingly scarce for the money and no real effort is put into the dishes. It's still fine for JUST coffee and other drinks, and perhaps already made pastries, but the meals are a no go, unless they start preparing them the way they used to, pre-pandemic.

Visited this place with family and it was great. Everything we ate was delicious. I recommend the chicken Flatbread and the chicken panini. Delicious! The coffee was good and I was told by the ones I was with that the morir sonando was very tasty. The place is a bit small so if you go with a big group there might not be a place to sit.

To the owner who messed up the Uber order and didn't bother to call back to resolve the issue and the speak Spanish "que ella quiere que yo haga" like customers can't be bilingual, it would be the first and the last I'll order or eat from this restaurant. Very unprofessional in attending customers. Got another customers order and the owner personally completely disregarded trying to find a solution. Instead her response in Spanish was "que ella quiere que yo haga" like I didn't know Spanish and didn't understand what she was saying. Never again!

I stumbled upon Mon Amour though Yelp a couple of years back; the place looked like something I would be interested in so I bookmarked it to try. The issue is I don't venture to the west side of the Bronx too often, which I'm kind of mad at myself for because there really seems to be a plethora of creative eateries in these neighborhoods (I think I smell a New Year's resolution brewing). Anyway, I'm on staycation this week so I *finally* told myself I would venture over and experience Mon Amour. Mon Amour is conveniently located at the corner of 238th and Broadway under the 1 train. Parking can prove to be difficult, but if you don't mind walking a block or two it's fine. The space itself isn't big - walking in there's a counter to order surrounded by a few spots to sit. The aesthetics were *perfect* - really everything I expected it to be. It had that contemporary, coffeehouse feel while also being intimate and giving off a warm aura. The tables were arranged to maximize the space, and the full frontal windows looking out to the street gave it a bright touch. The menu has a little bit of everything - breakfast items, baked goods, salads, paninis, and flatbreads. Plus, they have a number of beverages one would expect to find at a coffeehouse. I'm sure they have wine (hence the name) but I didn't notice/wasn't looking for it. Since I was there around lunch, I decided to try one of their flatbreads - the chicken with pesto, cheese, roasted red pepper, and feta. This was quite good - the crust was super thin which I appreciated and each component shined with out the flavors overpowering each other. I also ordered a hot chai latte which I really enjoyed. The flavor was smooth, and it was topped with a lot of cinnamon which complemented the chai well. Service was great throughout my experience - everyone was friendly and prompt. Overall, Mon Amour is a total yes for me. The aesthetics, food, and service really make for a nice place to grab a bite or a sip. I'm glad I finally got to stop by, and will definitely be back.

I was excited to try this place, it was October 6 at 12pm. The woman scheduled on this day behind the counter wasn't really customer friendly. We all work, we all have jobs, it's the same for everyone. Regardless of industry, I can not stress this enough. Working in the service industry is difficult due to many different people you interact with, we all have rough days or dislikes about the job, however I do understand, but at the BARE minimum being polite and not rude to your guest should be mandatory. She wasn't rude in the sense of of being disrespectful she just doesn't have any customer service skills. I.e greeting guest, answering with "what?" Instead "I'm sorry I didn't hear you can you repeat that again", it's the subtleties in TONALITY (how we say things) and BODY LANGUAGE that go a long way in the service industry. Not just providing a product. It's sad nowadays everyone wants to be the trendy new place with the cool and "beautiful" social media presence, but when you come to these establishments it needs to be full circle. It really takes away from the ambience and the environment of the place. Food was good none the less, as was the coffee. They also have things on the menu that you cannot order. Which generally is a rule of thumb to adjust daily upon opening your business day. That aside, the owner (Jeff) should really invest some time in coaching his staff and behaviors that would elevate his business. It's ALWAYS going to come down to the simplest of things. Would love to come back soon and have a different experience. * im not referring to the woman in the picture below, it was the other woman with the blue hair net working this day.

I would've never thought such a cute spot was in this area. I am so happy I stumbled across it. I was visiting a friend who lives across the street and we stopped in for breakfast. The service was good, and the food was tasty and at a good price. They had good menu options. The place is small but we managed to still have a table right away. I love the decor. I had a grilled cheese and a smoothie and my friend had a croissant. If you're in the area you should definitely check this cute little place out, you won't be disappointed.

This review is long overdue!! I'm a coffee and customer service snob and this place deserves 6 stars if I could give it to them. I love supporting "mom & pop" shops - and the owner Juhaira (I know I butchered the spelling ) is an absolutely gem. The place uses my favorite - illy coffee , which to me tastes ions above other coffee brands. In addition to their stellar coffee - Mon Amour has managed to amass a world class staff. Crystal, is who I look for every time I set foot into the place. Granted she is always masked - but I can feel her beaming smile...and her love being a barista resonates into every cup she serves me. As a Washington DC native, my reluctance in moving to Riverdale was pacified after finding this gem of a place. As I always preach - support your local businesses and try Mon Amour the next time you are in the Bronx. I promise, after having a cup of brew from them, we will no longer be deemed "the forgotten burrow" !! You can thank me later

I recently visited this establishment after running my errands this Sunday. I saw the sign and I just had to walk inside. I was immediately greeted as soon as I walked through the door which is always a plus. It is not a big coffee shop or cafe but it is so cute and intimate. I ordered an Iced vanilla latte, a salted caramel latte and a fudge brownie. The espresso is delicious and not too acidic. It is a good strong cup of coffee. The bonus is they provide Coconut milk for $0.35 which is cheaper than Starbucks ($0.60) a total plus for me because dairy and me are not friends. They heated the brownie up in this toaster oven like thing and it was delicious but, it did not make it home. The brownie was moist and gooey and the edges were nice and crispy. I do not think the brownie was made inhouse but, I enjoyed it anyway. I did notice that they did not have a behind the scenes kitchen so everything is prepared in front of you. Which is cool because I enjoy watching people prepare my food. I did not try any real food such as there paninis or salads. They sell wine and beer as well. I plan to come back and try out something else. Overall I had a great experience and I cannot wait to try other items on the menu.

This place keeps getting better with age. Great drinks and really good food options (I highly suggest the flatbreads). The staff is great and eager to make your experience a good one. It's a coffee bar/lunch spot by day and at 5pm, it turns into a great place to meet with friends for a happy hour with the locals. It's a strangely friendly group of people that gather here!

Im a lil upset this a.m. because although I still love this place, I was not informed that the bag that my corrisant came in had a slide opening. Normally I would just eat it out the bag, but today I took it out and boom! on the ground it went. I told the girl in the store what happened, she said I should bring it back, I did, and brought another one. Whatever I feel its my fault, but Im just letting people know beware off what wrappings, or how they package your stuff, lesson learned for me.

This place is lovely, and comfortable to hang out in. The owners and staff are so friendly. The latte they made me was excellent. I welcome them to the neighborhood and expect to become a regular.

First of all, the decorations at this spot is to die for if you're into the aesthetic. The first thing I bought were macaroons about a year ago and they were so good. I just bought this bagel with PB&J and coffee in the photos. I loved it, especially how they serve the plates neat, cute, and organized, rather just throwing a whole bagel on the plate. I also love how they set up the place for the seasons and holidays. The staff is really nice, music is great for the aesthetic. For a small shop, it's very well kept and set up. You won't regret the visit.

Gosh this place is amazing ! It's so gorgeous and random ! Went here to get dessert after dinner. Is a super cute Parisian style cafe . They also have wine and beer ! How ! It's the perfect place . We went pretty late around 10 pm on a Saturday night . Their hours list they are open till 12 but when we went it was just us and this one other girl - not sure if it was a slow night or ? But the guy told us he'd probably close at 10:30 or 11 even. I think they close at 10 on the weekdays anyway . I ended up getting some sparkling rosé and lemme tell you it was perfect! Very bubbly and dry and a little but not toooo sweet just the way I like it ! Hubby got a cappuccino and the latte art was on point !! Thank you ! He also got a raspberry key lime pie which was yummy ( didn't feel freshly made though so not sure ...) I think they have other baked goods and macarons . Might be worth it to stop by for coffee and baked goods another time , I hear they serve food too but not sure about that . I think the drinks , coffee and treats sounds like a good idea . The seating band atmosphere is cute and romantic - perfect for date conversation , or even just to do work on your laptop ( they have WiFi and outlets ) . Anyway a real gem in this part of town !

Wonderful staff with a positive attitude not only are they super friendly but I always feel welcome. The vibe and energy is uplifting. Great choices in music. Different varieties of teas, wine and beer. Personally; I definitely enjoy their pesto pizza and margarita pizza. Also a simple, warm and homey spot for vegetarians like my self. Overall, I come here almost every single day and it's definitely one of my favorite spots; after work or just simply reading a book.
