Miami’s New Restaurant Openings

"This Miami Beach clubstaurant has seafood towers, branzino, and lots of red meat options like beef cheek and wagyu filet mignon. It’s the kind of place that would probably scare/confuse the actual Mona Lisa if she were here to see it." - mariana trabanino, virginia otazo

The food was delicious. Flavor profiles & textures had depth & blended perfectly to allow a delicious bite. Service was attentive, well paced, & hospitable. Atmosphere provides a decadently decorated dinner party vibe with name dropping DJs. We had an early dinner so we cannot speak to the later party portion (midnight onward) but based on our experience we would definitely return for dinner & after dinner party. The restaurant was aware we were celebrating a party so they not only sent a dessert with candle but also two complimentary shots.

Food was great for non vegetarians. Unfortunately, they offered nothing for vegans. 🌱 Ambiente was pretty nice, turned out in a great Club with Ibiza house music.

I had an incredible experience at Mona Lisa! From the moment we arrived, the staff was welcoming and quickly found us a spot at the bar. The food was absolutely outstanding—each dish was a true delight. Chef Benjamin Goldman was fantastic, even taking the time to come out and personally explain a couple of the dishes, which made the evening even more special. The ambiance and music were perfect, adding to the overall atmosphere. I can't wait to come back again!

Mona Lisa Miami is hands down one of the coolest spots I’ve been to in a while! The food is next level, I’m talking melt-in-your-mouth Wagyu steak, miso cod that’s perfectly cooked, and the freshest Hamachi crudo with pistachios and mandarin that hit all the right notes. And don’t skip dessert, the yuzu Sicilian pistachio torte was so good I almost didn’t want to share. The vibe here is insane! The place feels like an art gallery with its 3D-printed ceiling and Renaissance-inspired touches, but by the end of the night, it turns into a full-on party with killer music and great energy. Oh, and the service? Top-notch. Gregory and the team were on it the entire time, super friendly and made us feel so welcome. Honestly, whether you're celebrating something or just want a fun night out with amazing food and great vibes, this place is IT. Book a table and thank me later!

The food presentation was impressive, but the taste fell short. The oysters were shell-free, which was a positive. However, at one point, the service removed our dishes without asking. The main issue was the lighting, which needs improvement. It should be brighter to create an atmosphere similar to Kiki or Cote, as the current dimness makes it difficult to take good photos and videos. Additionally, having servers in full outfits dance on tables was not appealing. There should also be a more consistent dress code, as some guests were dressed inappropriately. Furthermore, we never received one of the three steaks we ordered, though we were not charged for it. The steaks we did get were bland, lacked fat, and were excessively dry despite being ordered medium to medium-rare. The mushroom sauce was disappointing, with a slim consistency that negated any potential crust on the steak, leaving it mushy on the outside and tough on the inside. Overall, it's a good spot for women looking to take pictures of attractive food for Instagram. However, if you're seeking a delicious meal, I would recommend dining elsewhere.

Mona Lisa is an absolute gem! Their dumplings are hands down the best I’ve ever had—unbelievably fresh, with flavors so vibrant and ingredients so perfectly balanced that you can taste the care in every bite. The mushroom dish was equally stunning. Rich, earthy, and bursting with flavor, it’s a standout item that you absolutely cannot miss. And let’s not forget the drinks. I tried “Memories,” and it was crafted to absolute perfection. Every sip was a delightful blend of flavors that complemented the meal beautifully—it’s clear their mixologists are true artists. The experience was made even more memorable by the exceptional service. Sarinya went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect, and her warmth added a personal touch that made me feel so welcome. Additionally, Marcos, the manager, was a true professional, ensuring everything ran smoothly and checking in to make sure my experience was flawless. If you’re looking for a place where phenomenal food, drinks, and service come together seamlessly, Mona Lisa is it. From the outstanding dishes to the incredible staff, this is a dining experience I’ll be raving about for years to come!

Fantastic evening. Food was first class and the atmosphere was all Miami, South Beach. Great combination of dining and nightclub all in one. Love it!

Mona Lisa Miami is a must-visit! The service is top-notch, and the ambiance is stylish yet welcoming. The porcini dumplings and tetra roll were delicious and well-crafted. After dinner, the lively music and vibrant environment make it the perfect spot for a night out with friends. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Tip: If booking through OpenTable, consider confirming directly with the restaurant before arriving. We encountered an issue where the host couldn't find our reservation despite having an OpenTable confirmation and CC hold. It seems their systems aren't fully integrated, and not all staff are trained to handle these situations smoothly. Thankfully, another staff member stepped in and resolved it Food 2/5, Service 2/5, Ambience 3/5

Yelp
A group of 7 girls and I went to this restaurant to celebrate my friend's birthday. We arrived and there were two gentlemen outside that opened the door for us. The entrance is pretty enough to take pictures.. The host greeted us and in no time we were seated. There is a DJ, a nice bar and a few tables in the middle and along the wall. Once we were seated our waiter came and introduced himself. So far, the ambiance and service were good.. We all placed our drink orders and food orders.. I decided for a glass of red wine, which in my opinion was excellent. The menu is to the point and it has very few options. I ordered the cod fish and asparagus. Our food arrived a little late considering the restaurant was not busy or packed. I will be honest and say my food was horrible. The cod fish had absolutely no flavor. It was so bland and tasteless. The asparagus had butter and some sort of bread crumbs and a few strings of hair. ( please see pictures) Not only is this restaurant wickedly expensive, the food was NOT good.. after letting our waiter know about the hair, he never apologized, never asked if I would like another order or dish.. We informed him that it was our friend's birthday, he never offered dessert or anything. He was mostly concerned with getting us out of there.. Our bill was well over $1000.... to be exact $1500.. again this is not to brag about the price we paid, but more for transparency that you do NOT get what you pay for. After paying our bill, the waiter charged one of our friends $600 more on her card.. double charged her for an appetizer and made it a her problem.. finally after a big back and forth they gave her cash for the extra they charged her.. This restaurant is new and boy do they have room for growth.. I will not be back, there was nothing enjoyable about this restaurant.. Hopefully this review will help guide them to make the necessary changes to have a successful business..
