With chefs slinging Neapolitan-style pizza in the wood-burning ovens and cocktails by renowned Atlanta mixologist Tiffanie Barriere, Monday Night Brewing stays busy even, yes, on Mondays." - Kayleigh Ruller

***service fee not advertised nor can you pay cash*** service is decent, beer is good, food is pretty good for the most part. I enjoy their beers and the atmosphere. I have had good pizza and I've had very greasy pizza. For the price I expect better pizza. I also expect service fees to be advertised and not hidden on a receipt that you may or may not receive.

My cousin & I like to visit different breweries, including out of state. We’ve been to many others outside of CLT too. This is one of the best ones on our list! We’ve come here so far 3x this week. The varieties of beer are very good. My favorite is the raspberry sky. Now, if you want an appetizer, I highly recommend the spinach artichoke. It’s different but so good! Melt in your out good. We visited during lunch hours and the atmosphere is very relaxing. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I had to ask WHO owns this establishment because of how impressive it is. Very, wry good & impressive brewery!

We weren't even aware that this brewery existed in Charlotte until I stumbled across a two day gluten-free pizza event they were doing. My wife is celiac and is not able to eat pizza out because of cross contamination, so the fact that Monday Night shut down for a day to completely clean the ovens and prep area for the event was amazing. The space is awesome, they have pool tables and a pinball room (including a Led Zeppelin III machine!), tons of seating both inside and out, the pizzas and beers were incredible, and the staff is phenomenal. We were VERY impressed with everything and we'll definitely go back even if they're not doing a gluten-free event. This was a great find and Monday Night is a wonderful addition to the Charlotte brewery scene!

Google
Really nice indoor and outdoor space, with some good wood fired pizzas and cheesebread, made in ovens imported from Italy. All the staff was super nice and we had a good time. Love all the outdoor games, board games, pinball. On the flip side, it is a bit expensive and parking is difficult, but the biggest negative is the 3% service fee added to your bill without any kind of forewarning or explanation. I'm not sure what this is for, I'm assuming for using a credit card. I'm fine if places either have it posted, or tell you that there is a fee to use a credit card as I understand the associated fees with using a credit card. But this fee was added without any indication or explanation. Left a bad taste in my mouth, over a couple bucks. I would like it if Monday Night Brewing was a little more transparent with their "3% Service Fee".

Google
Great brewery with lots of activities. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Beer is delicious, specifically field trip and taco Tuesday! They have a wood fired pizza oven that makes really good pizza with garlic aioli on the side. The pizza is a little pricy but worth it. The brewery has regularly curated events that are sure to invite you over. I'm very sad I missed the nap go kart competition! Parking is a little more challenging - primarily street parking. Be cautious to pay for parking and park directly. We saw someone get a ticket on a Sunday because they parked facing the wrong way on the street.

First time coming here. An associate has a Hot Mulligan shirt on (yay amazing) and the playlist has been rad (TBS, b182, more) a hill to entertain kids which makes us wanna bring ours here- love my hazy and the fella likes his sour a ton!

Google
It's a fantastic place to spend your Saturday afternoon if you want to chill with some excellent beers, have a proper Italian-style pizza while relaxing in the sun. The outdoor setting is amazing, kids playing and dogs everywhere. It's family-friendly while also catering to the college student crowd. This is our new chill hangout space - and the drinks are priced just right. The live music outside makes it even better

Google
Great variety of drinks! Beer, cocktails, their own distilled spirits! Decor was cute, and lots of sitting areas indoors and out. The outdoor area is huge. There’s also food on site- pizza. Great place to go and hang out for a long while.

Amber M.

Yelp
Loved this place. Ample space inside and out to sit. Pup enjoyed meeting other pups and people! Pizza was really good too. I'm not that big of a beer drinker but was happy they had cocktail options! Parking is ...whew. Had to park on the side of the road which is not ideal but we made it work. Definitely walkable for those that live in the apartments in the surrounding area...unlike me who lives near South Park. Def give it a try! Great location to meet up with friends or a day date with the one you love (or like...lol)

Pablo S.

Yelp
Overall not a bad spot. Beers we had were tasty and the pizzas were great. The weather outside was tremendous so it was packed to the hilt but that is to be expected. Parking seemed like it was going to be an issue but the pay lot directly across the street had spots even on a busy day. Lots of traffic when crossing from the lot to the brewery so be careful. Definitely a 20 something crowd but there was space laid out so that my kids could play outside. A band started towards the end of our time there and they were great.

Yelp
I've been here a couple times and I love the atmosphere of the bar. They have unique drinks and beers that offer to everyone's needs and specialty cocktails. The staff is friendly and they allow dogs in the facility as well too. It is a very dog friendly place as many people nearby. Bring their dogs to hang out.

Paul R.

Yelp
Night cold brew with my baby. Nice ambiance. Service:Was ignored at the bar a couple times (perhaps brown me) or I wasn't a hottie. Except for the foul profane music it would've been cool to hang out. Can't believe parents bring their kids here and the management allows this to be played with kids there.

Whitt D.

Yelp
Very fun and great service. This place is the perfect location and they have the best pizza. I also love their cocktails.

Lindsay B.

Yelp
Monday Night is a fun spot! The space itself is actually really big with a ton of indoor seating as well as outdoor picnic tables. Family and dog friendly. They host a lot of events like goat yoga and festivals with local vendors which I love! I actually don't remember much about the beer but what really stands out in my mind is the pizza! Cooked to order right there in the huge wood fired ovens, the flavors and textures reminded us so much of pizza we enjoyed in Italy recently! You should definitely try out Monday Night.

Yelp
Came out on a Friday night. Chill spot! Very spacious brewery. A pool table room is in the back. Couple of lounge chairs on the side. Lots high top and picnic tables. A lot of picnic tables outside as well Jessica made some tasty margaritas for us. An amazing pour! She was informative on the space and drink offers. We truly appreciated it! Didn't buy any food but I did see some pizzas come out. They looked very tasty. Overall, a great place to go out and have a good time.

Maddie R.

Yelp
I noticed a lot of reviews have commented on how the parking is limited or not available. That's basically like every place in south end so I'm not sure why that brings down the ratings so much. Anyways, we sat outside and ordered pizzas and drinks. It was such an inviting atmosphere both inside and outside. There was music but not too loud so we could still talk as well as plenty of seating options. The pizza was average but still good and I would order it again. I think next time I would order a pizza with more toppings to make it more exciting. I ordered the spicy watermelon Red Bull margarita but I asked for no Red Bull and the bartender was super nice to make that change for me! Some others ordered beers or ciders and said they were pretty decent as well. I would like to go back in the fall when the weather is even cooler to sit outside for longer!

Raquel S.

Yelp
Cool spot in South End to grab beer and pizza. Indoor and outdoor seating, TVs for watching sports, some outdoor games like corn hole and giant connect four. On Sundays, they have $5 sangria which is pretty tasty. On Fridays, they have BOGO pizzas during lunch (12-3pm). This a good deal since the pizzas are personal sized and most cost $17. Parking sucks. Some free street parking and pay parking lots nearby.

Julie P.

Yelp
Only came for beers, but it didn't disappoint! Love the vibe of this place, as well as the openness of their location. It's hard to seem spacious in south end, but they do it. The only challenge is parking, as they don't have their own lot (but there is a paid lot across Tryon). Great beers, friendly servers, ample space. It's certainly a spot we will be coming back to!

Yelp
Finally got around to trying South End's newest brewery Monday Night Brewing. I was initially engaged by their marketing and the idea that they positioned themselves to be "brewed for the weeknights." The space itself has a huge indoor area with a fun outside that includes picnic tables, park-like hills, and outdoor games. We saw lots of kids and dogs running around outside so it was very much a family-friendly brewery. We tried a few different beers including the Mangosaurus (a limited release sour beer) and a blind pirate (year-round blood orange IPA). Both were tasty and I found it super unique that they brewed so many different things in-house. My friend also tried one of their wood-oven pizzas and it appeared to look very traditional Italian with some oil and grease, which isn't my favorite but she seemed to enjoy it. Overall I agree with the public that South End doesn't need any more breweries.. but this is a cool spot that I'm sure I'll pop into again considering I live in the area!

Liz H.

Yelp
The staff was on it! Very attentive and friendly. The brewery is spacious and has a lot of seating. They have pool, large connect four and games to play. They have an art vending machine, which was cool. My husband and I got some cute art from it. They have a lot of beers on tap. They have pizza and a food truck on site. We have visited the brewery in Atlanta and now Charlotte. Love both locations but I wish they had their own parking. We had to pay for parking in a public lot near the brewery. We will definitely return though. A very fun place! Check them out!

Annie C.

Yelp
10/10 the hot honey pizza. Drink menu + drinks are also great. A very large space both indoor and outdoor and live music on the weekends. Always crowded too - a new favorite brewery in South end!

Anastasia W.

Yelp
Loved the name I had to stop! (especially since it was a Monday) the beer was really good as well as the atmosphere! Would go again!

Francisco M.

Yelp
Monday Night Brewing was a very nice experience! Service was very fast, including the pizzas! This is one of the few. VERY FEW. Breweries/tap rooms/bars that have beers over 10% alcohol. And I say few because there must be another one, I just haven't found it. Lots of chairs and tables, but lots of people too. And events now and then! One of my faves in Charlotte area for sure!

Shay N.

Yelp
Another brewery... I know what your thinking (I thought the same). Monday Night is truly the perfect addition to Charlotte. The fact that they have food at the brewery is a bonus, but the pizza was so good!! They also have other options that just beer which in my mind is such a plus. The vibes were so nice and it was a very mixed crowd. The perfect place to celebrate a friends birthday, or just a nice evening out without having to go anywhere fancy! There was ample seating as well as games inside and outside!! Loved this place!

Haleigh G.

Yelp
Food and service are great here + I love that they have more than just beers to choose from! Great vibe.

Adrika C.

Yelp
What I love about this place is that it's one of our only women-led majority teams in Charlotte. The craft cocktail menu, the operations, the event planning, and more are all the accomplishments of women leaders. I'm here for it Massive space with ample in and outdoor seating. Family friendly, while also being a spot for adults on the weekend nights. The mezzanine upstairs is a helpful and quieter getaway. The downstairs area is really where the party's at. Interesting and engaging events. They do a good job marketing on Instagram! The beer is quite good and affordable. As a hazy IPA girl, I recommend any of their IPAs! Pizzas are overpriced for a personal at $17-ish per pizza. Nothing to rave about, it's a very decent pizza but nothing spectacular. If you are going to order a personal pizza, then definitely get the hot honey. I tried the other flavors and was not impressed. Pizza could use work - 3/5 Overall, I'm excited to see how they become part of our Charlotte community, and what they do to stand out with so many breweries in our city

Yelp
I'd been to Monday Night once around the time it opened and now more recently. The place has a great vibe, indoors and out. It flows well and there's tons of seating for a more intimate conversation or a boisterous get together at a Oktoberfest style table. The bartenders were friendly and quick with their drinks. The pizza was excellent, we stopped in when they were doing a gluten free promo and you couldn't tell the difference between their regular dough. Home run pizza! My only gripe was that the cocktails were really pricey. I had a bourbon cider cocktail (lukewarm cider was premade and bourbon was added) and it was served to me in a to go coffee cup. It was $17. For being a brewery I understand that cocktails are not what most are going for but I thought that was quite expensive and it certainly didn't taste like it was worth the $20+ including tip. I've enjoyed this spot's commitment to sour beers but that left a sour taste in my mouth.

Hobie W.

Yelp
One of the few places in Charlotte open till 2:00. Excellent pizzas and decent prices for drinks. Avoid the witch's brew. It might be the worst drink I've ever had.

Beth K.

Yelp
Great service, great location, great venue and great variety of beer and cocktails. Best expresso martini in Charlotte. This is not your average Charlotte brewery!!

Colleen M.

Yelp
Great Vib we sat outside around the fire pit. Will defiantly go back in the warmer weather.

Alexandra S.

Yelp
Came here after taking pup to Skiptown as I was desperate for some food. Was unprepared for the best pizza I've had in Charlotte! i had the mushroom pizza and it was perfect. It tasted like the pizza was straight from Naples, Italy. Unfortunately, It was gone before I could take a picture. I'll come back and try the Pesto too because that looked incredible as well. 10/10. Loved the drinks and the overall vibe. Will be back with my friends!

Richard L.

Yelp
Cool venue, very good pizza. Kid friendly and fun for a late afternoon stop in. Parking is tough but expect that in this part of town. Like the live music and pool table area.

Steven B.

Yelp
The peppadew pizza was very good don't get me wrong. But very stingy on the peppers and sausage. Very greasy pizza. The dark stout was delicious tasted like a Carmel coffee. Would come back for a pizza for sure.

Victoria M.

Yelp
I LOVED this place. I was kind of hoping I would hate it because I, like everyone else, wondered why we keep getting soo many breweries. I gave it a try because the location and large outdoor area was so cute. The security wasn't on a high horse or rude (like everywhere else), the staff was overwhelmed but handled it perfectly, the Dj was awesome, and the vibe was just 10/10. I am coming back for sure :)

Rodney B.

Yelp
Tried to visit there during off hours with a large group. They have ZERO PARKING, and no recommendations WHERE TO PARK! We went down the road to HiWi instead and had a blast!

Tim G.

Yelp
Pretentious ... mediocre overpriced food and beer. Good luck finding a parking spot - we parked in a raised lot close to the brewery paid by phone. Beers were mediocre. Marzen was a bland amber. Pizza was burnt and no cheese to be found. Had to deposit our empty pizza tray on a rack to left of the pickup spot. pizza staff weren't happy i tried to set my pan down on the pizza counter. Oops?

Tenesha S.

Yelp
Firstly let me say I love that this business is dog friendly! However, there was so much hair.. everywhere inside! You could see it floating around. One table had so much hair underneath you could knit a sweater! I was really excited to try this this place but I was concerned about biting into my pizza and eating hair. Also it was so loud and overcrowded. We couldn't find a table, even if we planned on staying. My friend and I were basically yelling to each other and we were standing shoulder to shoulder.

Bonny C.

Yelp
Great indoor/outdoor space. Been coming a lot this first week. Love all the different rooms, Pool table, table games, darts and lawn games. The Beer is great and they have a good selection to choose from. The staff is friendly. When it gets busy avoid a line by moving further into the bar. The line that is there is an illusion - In fact do your self a favor and don't assume because someone is standing in a line that you have to do the same. Explore the space the staff is very very eager to assist.

Stephanie H.

Yelp
Best all around brewery! Great beer and cocktails. Pizza is great. Fun atmosphere with the corn hole and outdoor/indoor seating. Staff is all very friendly. Way better than sycamore.

David P.

Yelp
Awesome addition to the Charlotte brewery scene! Great food, great beer, and great vibes! Love the outdoor space!!!

Lillie B.

Yelp
I met Amanda at Monday Night Brewing - she introduced herself as the GM! She was FANTASTIC!!! So hospitable, kind, courteous, and very attentive. Excellent experience, and I felt like she genuinely went above and beyond in making us feel "at home". Can't wait to come back to MNB to try even more beers and experience more of the wonderful customer service Amanda and her team have to offer

Samantha D.

Yelp
All the great things to do! And fantastic drinks! It looked like a crazy line at the bar but they keep it hopping and we were served super quick. I really love all of the fun stuff.

Michelle M.

Yelp
Not sure what the bad reviews are about but we love this place and so does our friends. Since it's been open, we've been back 4 times and it's only been a week. Atmosphere is great with good music and plenty of games to play. Family friendly as well. The drinks are good with beer and liquor options. Highly recommend.

Diana J.

Yelp
We had a blast. Indoor /outdoor brewery vibe where you can bring your dog, they serve food AND offer a full bar. That's really hard to find in CLT area. Staff was nice and outdoor fire pits and games were a bonus ! Will be back for sure. Check it out .

Mel P.

Yelp
Came here on a whim, pizza and beers were phenomenal. Our server/bartender was great, very personable and friendly. We sat outside and it was lovely.

Zachary R.

Yelp
They have a lot of space good service and ok beers and food definitely nothing stand out. trash music space and vibe at least for a Sunday maybe it's better during the week. Also think they have a predatory tipping system

Liam A.

Yelp
Love this place! Ambiance is great and beers are delicious. One thing though, my ass cheeks wouldn't stop itching when I was there. All night, even when I went home, my ass was itching. That's it

Paul W.

Yelp
No legal parking to speak of unless you're on a bicycle. Pizza would have been good if they would've put more than 10 pieces of pepperoni on it, and if they would've texted us when it came out of the oven instead of 10 minutes later. By the time we got the pizza, it was ice cold. Only positive thing I have to say is the beer was good, but I didn't buy any to go because the service sucked and the parking is a joke.

Jason C.

Yelp
There was nothing special about this brewery. The beer was typical and lines were very long to get a drink. Pizza is absolutely not worth $17 for the little pie you get with skimpy toppings. There are about 14 pepperonis and was barely covered with cheese. Might give it another try in the future but having several locations already I would expect it to be better from the start.
