Monello’s

Came across Monello’s downtown St. Catharines. First impression was that it’s a classy little place but at same time it’s casual nice. We ordered the individual charcuterie. It was a large portion well enough for two people. We also ordered the Strawberry Mojito and the Smoked Old Fashion drinks, which was entertaining just being served. The staff was delightful and welcoming. I can’t say anymore besides come check it out and that we will be back!!! 5/5

Best cocktails in town... obviously not a cheap place, but reasonably priced for what you get. It's worth treating yourself to lounges like this every now and then - you won't find a better cocktail anywhere downtown.

Great Atmosphere, Great Drinks. We came in here for the first time, last Friday and were very impressed. It give the impression of a very upscale cocktail bar, with the velvet ropes and doormen outside, and it lived up that pretence. It has a very modern, yet warm decor and the patio, in particular, is small but well placed, with a great view. We had a pitcher of sangria, which was delicious and reasonable priced, plus a smoked lavender lemonade, which, along with the presentation, was the perfect cap to the evening. The jazz music in the background, really made this a very positive experience. The staff were very helpful and super friendly. We will definitely return.

Nice place. I have attended a few Monello's special events, and have thus far bought four pieces of unique art at four different shows, where the artists were present. This is the only local venue of which I am aware that routinely hosts art shows. The tapas were delicious at each event, and of a different style each time, as they have a rotating cast of chefs. The decor is modern, especially in the VIP room, which can be booked for private events. Smoked drinks are on offer, as well as cigars. Overall, this is a unique venue and I am glad it's around. I took the attached photo from Monello's back patio while having a smoked old-fashioned and cigar. There is street parking, but I generally just park in the Meridian Centre parking lot directly behind Monello's. There is always room there, especially in the evenings.

Monello’s is the epitome of class. A true work of art. From the red carpet coming in, to the multiple glass encased wine/champagne racks, to the blue led lights & customs water wall; it’s the perfect mix of modern meets elegance. You won’t find anything else like it in St. Catherine’s. Come for the custom cocktails, stay for the ambiance. The service is excellent. The staff is friendly & knowledgeable in the menu. The food is delectable; with something for everyone. All in all, whether you’re looking for the perfect spot for a date night, to rent a spot out for a private occasion or just a night out with the girls for some elegant drinks; Monello’s is the new fave spot in town. Highly recommend. 10/10.

A good friend recommended this place for my wife and I to check out, it did not disappoint ! The drinks were fancy and delicious. The hors d'oeuvres were great. One thing is that - it is a more upscale place so keep that in mind when picking outfits.
