Loved the speed of service, accessibility, and options. The sour guava IPA stole my heart. Sarah was fabulous and attentive and had amazing recommendations. Loved my first experience here.

Great service. Beers were good and the food was good too.

Google
A great spot to go for a beer and a snack. Next time we want to come a bit hungrier to try one of their sandwiches! I tried the lavender lemonade seltzer and it is probably one of the best seltzers I have ever had, honestly. Refreshing and not too sweet or too bland. My husband loved the monkey king ipa. We got the garlic parmesan tater tots and they were hot, fresh, and came out really quick. Drinks were cold. Service very chill and friendly. It is a small space so we had to wait a few minutes for a seat but I think it was worth it! We went during the weekday happy hour. Two beers and a bite to eat for $15? Amazing. We can’t wait to go back again ❤️

Google
Omg the doll behind the bar with the daek cherry hair was the BEST. And the seltzers were amazing. ABSOLUTELY worth the hour drive, will definitely be coming back

This Restaurant is located inside of a Asian Shopping Center, so it’s not really a quiet Restaurant, but the Atmosphere still was very good! And, the Service was Outstanding!

Christian S.

Google
Love that this is a new local spot for us! Delicious seltzers and beers. Awesome happy hour prices. This may become an every weekend spot for us.

Google
Their food and beers are amazing. People you must come and check it out .Small cool little spot but so worth it .

Every now and then, I’ll come across an authentic brewery that sets the bar beyond what is simply run of the mill. I have a genuine appreciation for the true brewery that prides itself in its own creativity and assortment of suds offered. And that brewery is Monkey King. Decided to check this spot out with a few colleagues for the recent Dodgers game. Ambience was lively. Good crowd all around. The beertenders Sarah, Ron & Brandon were super cool & personable, and even offered samples of their different brews to try out. To start off, I opted for their flagship- the lavender lemonade seltzer. Delicious. Then I followed with the slap & tumble double IPA for more of a kick. That one hit the spot, as it tasted well-balanced & smooth. Great brews, great sports, great vibes. MKB simply does not miss.

Yelp
The experience was mixed. There was almost no one in the entire food-hall when five of us went on Thursday for lunch and a beer...all of the food places were vacant except the ice cream place and Monkeys which had 2 guys sipping beers...but no one was working in the front of the restaurants. After hanging around for more than a few minutes, a guy came from the back of Monkey King and took drink orders on the tap side, but told us to order food via the kiosk. The kiosk is a work in progress... there was no way to figure out what each offering included in it... you had to go by the food picture on the menu as the worker had disappeared in the back again. No way to ask for extra ketchup or a fork, while ordering etc. The way it worked was you get a text when your food is ready... but instead of getting it from the restaurant, you have to go find a locker that holds your food! No signage to assist with this, so time was spent wandering, looking for lockers. Signage in the food hall would assist with this! The friendly proprietor realized he forgot to include a drink that was ordered so he came out and delivered it to us (we were easy to find- the place was basically empty). He explained the concept was more skewed toward workers in nearby warehouses than weekday visitors (hence lockers) and they were adapting the concept as they went along. He also said he was updating the kiosk as well. Unfortunately, two of the 5 of us didn't care for their food. Two of us had the brisket grilled cheese and tater tots, which were very good. (I could have used a fork to eat all the goodies that had slipped out, but no one to ask). The Monkey hamburger was too salad like but in fairness it wouldn't have been ordered if the buyer knew what was on it (again , descriptions of ingredients would be helpful). Burrito bowl was good. Beer was good. (I can't recall the name of the sandwich that looked and tasted no bueno.). We went to close the beer tab and had to hang out for awhile as there was no one there manning the beer taps! I think this food hall, Monkey King and the evolving concept needs time to adjust to midweek customers. Maybe we will go back in a few months to see how they've progressed, but not having people in the front of the house to provide beer tap or general service is off putting.

Yelp

Yelp
The restaurant itself is small but very modern and clean! Servers were very friendly and helpful! Some of the food items were a hit or miss. My sandwich was really good, however another sandwich with sourdough was burnt so bad it was cutting the top of your mouth event time you took a bite! Not fun haha Their wings were extremely under done and looked not cooked, still pale color. Fried and drinks were also good! Fun vibes overall !

Yelp
Visited on a Tuesday lunch after eating for some drinks & we decided to come back next time to try their food because the menu looks really good & super affordable. They brew some in house beers and offer a large selection of wines as well. Definitely will come back & recommend!

Yelp
I always get exceptional service here, wonderful selection of beer. The lavender lemonade seltzer is refreshing! There's plenty of seating around the area and they give you a plastic cup if you want to walk around and eat at another area! They play music which isn't too loud! 80s music definitely a hit! Parking is not an issue - come whenever and it's always a good time to come.

Yelp
Good beer. The bartender was nice to help me find the right type of beer for my taste. I would like to come back again to try a different type of beer.

Yelp
Review#1095~(Inland Empire, CA)~ I drove back to support them at Monkey King Brewing, Eastvale, CA., today because i simply wanted to experiment something different for dinner today on 02/14/2025. Upon my turn, the bartender/cashier was extremely helpful and friendly. I took awhile to study the menu because this was a quick take out experience. I ended up ordering their Banh Mi (Vietnamese sandwich) to go with a side of BBQ chips. Sorry phone didn't get to eat first because was starved by the time i arrived here from a road trip to 'The Shops at Dos Lagos,' Corona, CA. Also, my phone was acting up and wouldn't let me take any more pictures even after deleting a ton of stuff. Food: 5/5~The Banh Mi sandwich turned out extremely flavorful, juicy and soft from the baguette. This was an extremely delish first visit: I'll likely return here tomorrow because they got me craving this order now. Thanks for your hospitality, 'Monkey King Brewing,' inside Cravings, 99 Ranch Market, Eastvale, CA. See you all again for my Sunday Funday coming up.

Yelp
This place is awesome.. great customer service and the place makes you feel as is you're on vacation.

Yelp
Lots of options for beer, cider, seltzers and even non-alcoholic. Best of all ... order from any of the other food places in Cravings Market Hall and have it delivered to you here - while you watch a game on one of their large screens. First, we tried the impressive Slap & Tumble (Brewery X - Imperial IPA 9%) and the very different, lighter Hanamachi (Bottle Logic - Japanese Rice 5%). Then, we also enjoyed the beautifully hazy Monkey King (NE IPA 6.2%) along with the sweeter Guava Cider (Ace Cider 5%). Very clean and with good service ... choose seating at the bar counter or at one of (two) thin/longer hi-top tables.

Yelp
After a month long hiatus slammed by work and everyday obstacles. We finally made it back. From the second we walked back in it was like we never left. Sarah's welcoming smile, funny , and warm personality makes it soooo worthwhile. We enjoy the Trivia nights! Worth the trip and ambiance!!!!

Yelp
Stopped off after a long day of driving to Van Nuys to have an ice cold beer. Happened upon this place called monkey King brewing located in a little food cafeteria area in Eastvale. The gentleman that helped us out behind the bar was actually really knowledgeable and very helpful. He asked me a lot of questions about the types of beer or seltzers that I liked and then gave me a few tastes. I went with the peach sour that they had on tap. Wow is all I can say that was one of the most delicious things that I've ever had! It was a little sour, but the peach was so flavorful, and it had a nice hint of marshmallow which made it a little sweet as well. Something I definitely could get behind during those long hot days in the summer. The place itself is cute and cozy not very much room, though it is bar top. Only you can take your beer and go out into the cafeteria area and sit which is a plus they change their beers frequently. I'm told as soon as one runs out, they have others in the fridge, waiting patiently to be tapped. They gave me an insider tip on a few that are going to be coming up and tapped soon that they thought I might wanna try. I'm definitely going back. Can't wait for them to tap that blackberry vanilla seltzer. I also made sure that I downloaded the tappd app so that I know immediately when they put a new beer on tap. I definitely had a great experience and can't wait to go back. If you're a beer connoisseur I'd say definitely give this place a try.

Yelp
I went here a couple days ago to there sister location to the right of the monkey brewery but you have to order from this location when there is no one there we got two sub sandwiches and I will say that I highly recommend the food. The quality of the meat to the bread to the veggies is extremely fresh. The service I will say was not so well so I can't give a full 5 star as much as I want the because she kept ignoring me and the person in front of me left tending to drinks and making conversation i had to make sure when I got my receipt to make sure it came out exactly when she said it would because it would have been sitting out there if I didn't. The ambience is inside the 99 ranch food court so it depends on the day when it's either nice or to crowded but all in all I went back for a Togo so I would say it's super good!!! Service not so well

Yelp
Nice little spot located inside Cravings food hall next to 99 Ranch market. The beer is good and the food is fantastic. Theres a self serve kiosk where you can enter your order yourself or if you prefer, order from the bar directly. The menu has lots to choose from and from a price perspective, a pretty good value, especially during happy hour!

Yelp
Monkey King Brewery is located in the Cravings by 99 Ranch - Eastvale foodhall. This is named after the Monkey King from Journey to the West, a legendary novel turned into TV series about a Buddhist pilgrimage to the western region to obtain Buddhist sacred texts, enduring trials and sufferings, to bring the sutra back to China. The Monkey King was the main disciples and protector during the journey. I love the name cause this series was something I would watch with my late grandma during my childhood. Anyways back to this lovely brewery. They had so many tasty options on tap. Yan helped us and was so friendly to offer samplings. It is so rare to say but I enjoyed everything I sampled: - Harland Japanese Lager 4% - ACE Guava Cider 5% - Mother Cali Creamin' 5% - NITRO Modern Times Black House Oatmeal Coffee Stout 5.8% My favorite was the nitro modern times black house oatmeal stout but I was so full and so I couldn't handle finishing a stout. I went with the ACE guava cider which was a light unique pick I really enjoyed. I really like that I had the option to enjoy my beverage at the bar and watch TV or take my drink and walk around the foodhall. Cheers!

Yelp
Good brewery and some good food from Monkey King at Cravings in Eastvale. Bar top self seating and its got a decent number of food items. The night we went the bartender was really chill. We ordered one beer to give it a try and ended up ordering the Bao Buns with brisket (3). Food didn't take too long to come out since the kitchen is nearby. The Bao Buns were good! I would recommend them for sure. As far as a vendor in the food hall, Monkey King is chill option as they continue to expand. Thanks, Monkey King Brewing!

Yelp
Located in the new 99 ranch carvings food hall. Monkey offers gastro pub food. With the food hall only having about half there offerings, we decided to try Monkey King. Inside the food hall is really nice, despite half the stalls not being ready yet. There is nice outside seating and plenty of inside seating. There are quite a lot of tvs to showing sports. I believe Monkey King offered sone bar seating but we just opted to sit in sone chair inside the food hall. For food we went with the bulgogi cheesecake, beacon bbq smash burger, beignets. I would say out of the 3 the bbq beacon cheeseburger was the best. It was a good version of the smash burger. For the dessert that got me super excited the beignets were just okay. For starters they are very small, more like bites and hallow in the inside. If you tried Disneyland beignets you probably won't be impressed by these. The other joust okay part of the meal was the side salad. I opted for the vinaigrette dressing, something about the salad despite it being fresh salad just wasn't that great. I would say opt for the fries which are pretty standard fries, but good. The cheesecake was good if your looking for something different. With the sauce you should eat it and not let it sit as it gets a little soggy due to the sauce. It was a pretty filling sandwich. Despite okay beignets I would definitely come back. Service was good and I imagine as more people find out about the food hall it will become more popular place to visit.

Yelp
Monkey King is an excellent spot. The beer selection is impressive, featuring lagers, IPAs, seltzers, pale ales, stouts, and a nice assortment of red and white wines. If you're in the mood for a bite to eat, there are three different restaurant options available, ranging from fried chicken, burgers and pizza to sandwiches and Asian cuisine. My personal favorite is the tater tots, especially when you top them with chili cheese--the chili is fantastic! I also highly recommend the fried green beans paired with the lemon caper remoulade.

Yelp
Really enjoyed the slider at this establishment inside the 99 Cravings in Eastvale. New to the community and definitely tasted fresh, it was flavorful and good for the occasion. Service was great! You should go and try it!

Yelp
I definitely recommend this place. One of the best breweries in town. Great rotating and house brews. Miss the Warhammer brew from Great Wolf but the Monkey King Blond is great !!!!
google avatar

Yelp
Exploring the Cravings food court in Eastvale. Stumbled upon Monkey King Brewery. They brew their own drafts and include local favorites from the Bay Area and local Ontario and Orange County breweries. The service staff was prompt to greet us and explain the menu items and highlighted specials. The ambiance was very calm mid day they had a golf tournament on the 2 television. The staff mentioned it's very busy on weekends which is awesome. Ordered the smash burger. It came with 2 patties, pickles, onions, and cheese with a side of fries. The fries were fried excellently. Burger was juicy and delicious. 10/10 would eat there again!

Yelp
Having a great Friday and my favorite bar enjoying very good of beer another one I had a hamburger with a refried egg and my favorite hot sauce the bomb I challenge you to come and try this delicious food wazzzz up to: RON

Yelp
This bar is located in the back of the Cravings Food Hall which is very nice and clean inside. First off, I think they must've been short-staffed so it took a while to get service at first. That being said, once there was somebody behind the bar, it went smoothly. But the one person serving drinks at the time was also responsible for taking orders for food at the bar and at the ghost kitchens across the way. The beer selection was very good with some options from several breweries including Unsung and Green Cheek. My son had the smashburger and fries. They were accommodating of his request for a plain burger. He said the burger was good and the fries were amazing. Would definitely come back to try more food and beer.
google avatar

Matthew S.

Yelp
Great little selection on tap. They also offer wine. Food was pretty darn good I must say. Bartenders were absolutely friendly, willing to help, and VERY attentive! If I'm ever in the area again I'd definitely stop by. Ordered a cuban sandwich and parm tater tots, was amazing!

Hazel L.

Yelp
Great beer, cozy vibe! Loved the seasonal IPA. Such a cool local spot to unwind. Im coming back for more
google avatar

Vera L.

Yelp
This place is still in their soft opening phase so no one was there. It's in the Cravings Hall, next to 99 Ranch so there's plenty of parking. Pretty cool place to chill and grab a beer. I really liked their Harland Japanese Lager. They also have food that'll I'll try next time!

Heather d.

Yelp
Da Monkey Cuban - horrible, microwaved meat - meat was sliced Vietnamese flavored pork not shredded hardly any ham or pickles and gross cheese. But the beer and fries were good....
google avatar

Janelle O.

Yelp
Small but mighty menu. Looking forward to great things at Monkey King Brewing . Had a few samples and selected the huckleberry cider which was absolutely awesome to this non beer drinker ! Hubby and I also ordered some fantastic dishes including the Route 66 Merica burger and the Bailey buns with sweet brisket. His burger was extremely juicy and smokey ( everything you'd want in a burger ) My bao buns were beyond amazing with a personal recommendation from the nice young lady behind the bar. Cilantro, cucumber , and the sweetest little brisket all mixed with a wonderful mayo sauce and served on the crispiest little bao buns( almost look like puffy mini tacos) Keep it coming Monkey King!
google avatar

Jim B.

Yelp
Dropped by the Cravings for a brew and ice cream on my birthday and what a fantastic surprise when the folks from the Monkey King Brewing gave me a birthday beer and sang a beautiful happy birthday song, all in key of course, to me! How awesome is that service! Topped off my day!
google avatar

Lori S.

Yelp
my husband and I came and were excited that we had somewhere close. I was looking forward to the huckleberry cider, which sadly was no longer on tap. The bartender was nice and allowed me to try the ciders he had, as I'm not a beer lover. The baja cider was my choice it was good, would be good on a hot summer day. The lavender lemonade was alright, and the banana split was interesting, but milkiness turned me off. Hubby has a dark beer. We enjoyed buffalo cauliflower. The seating is uncomfortable. the bar needs a pole so you put can rest your feet. I don't like bar stools. They have lower tables in food hall area but didn't know if we could take our beers there. If that was the case this might be a cool place to hang out with friends have a couple drinks. Bring some games and have a burger or snacks aside from the brewery. Everything is Asian cuisine would love to see some variety. You can tell they are in their infancy as a food hall and everything is not open yet so I'm hoping it will just get better. Parking was a hassle with the grocery store.

Nick S.

Yelp
This place is awesome! We were in town visiting family, and decided to try out this gem. You wouldn't necessarily realize what is there from the outside, however this smaller brewing company is in a food court style building with multiple food offerings as well as food of their own. We tried the Monkey King pizza and the Cuban sandwich, which were both very tasty! Additionally, if you're looking for a drink and different food, the other food court options will actually bring their food to the bar area so that you can enjoy your drink and other food as well. The bartender was very nice and friendly, and while they don't have the most beer offerings, it was still very enjoyable. We definitely plan on coming back when we are back in town!
google avatar

Susan M.

Yelp
Sarah and Yohonna are the best they are one of many reasons we keep coming back and of course the beer. And I love that they just keep adding more and more food to the menu.
google avatar

Shane V.

Yelp
Sarah was awesome. She walked us through the menu and helped us navigate the eateries around us. With her recommendation we had an amazing dinner. The beer selection is diverse with something for everyone
google avatar

Jionni J.

Yelp
Update! This place now has the best beers around! They set out to improve the beer list and mission accomplished! Cant wait to see what they brew in the upcoming months!
google avatar

Frankie M.

Yelp
Awesome location and even better beers. Food is a big bonus too. Staff is helpful and friendly. Recommend to anyone trying to kick back and enjoy a brew.
google avatar

Jesus S.

Yelp
My hubby and I have been going to this brewery since before they did their grand opening. It's a great place to go get a drink after grocery shopping. Or you can take your hubby here while you go shopping and pick him up after lol hahaha We have always received great service thanks to Yohanna. She is such a pleasure to see. She is so welcoming and makes us feel comfortable. My hubby calls her our homegirl. We technically don't stop by unless she's there. We enjoy chatting it up with her and talking about our week. She let's us unwind and enjoy ourselves. They also have a great selection of IPAs, sours, seltzers, American, stouts, and lagers. You are welcomed to bring your children and enjoy some burgers and chicken while parents can sip on a beer and enjoy family time. Food is also great!

Rosario R.

Yelp
Love the pickle beer Michelada! Sarah is super knowledgeable and always friendly. They have variety of beers from local breweries.

Maria L.

Yelp
the order system is thru kiosk and nobody's there to tell us where to get the order, only to find out there is liks a mailbox to pick up the order, why they ask for a tip?! not eating there ever. the monkey burger that I ordered if a waste of money, not good at all !!! cant recommend this place sorry.
google avatar

Juan P.

Yelp
My name is Juan, im a regular there. I Love the environment and food there especially the beer. but i believe the best part are the bartenders sara, yohonna, liz and ron and eddy, always serving with a smile. cant recommend this spot enough. should try the hamburgers
google avatar

alex w.

Yelp
Not just great beer, but GREAT burgers! This is almost a nice hangover meal, hearty burgers, melty grilled cheeses, and great apps! This is a good menu when you're looking for a strong meal. The beers are rotating on tap so you never know what you're going to get, and they said that their own beers should be coming shortly when they open their own brewery! Should be great edition to Eastvale. Can't wait to see what comes next!
google avatar

Mason B.

Yelp
Awesome beer selection from various local breweries, great staff (we really like Sarah) and the food isn't bad at all! Definitely worth giving a try!
google avatar

Diana B.

Yelp
Came for happy hour. They have different beers on tap for $5 during Happy Hour. We were happy that they had a hazy. Its my husband's favorite. They had Noble Ale, Grey Wolf, Brewery X, Stone and others on draft.
google avatar

Keya B.

Yelp
Sooo I want to check this place out because the reviews are good. Unfortunately I cant find a phone number on their Yelp or on their website or on a Google search. This is a poor first impression. I am gonna try this place today...hopefully it is still open since there is no way I can confirm. I also messaged them on Yelp but they never replied.
google avatar

S.J. L.

Yelp
We have been coming to Monkey King Brewing weekly for the last 3 months, and their service never disappoints! While we've been pleasantly served by other staff in the past, our go to girl here is Sarah, who's always so welcoming and even remembers our usual order and gets it going the minute she sees us approaching the bar. She will ensure not only you are satisfied with the drinks you walk away with, but she'll also help you get quality service from the restaurants in the food court if you were looking to have a meal. The best thing about the food court setup is that you can take the drinks (in plastic cup) with you anywhere in the food court. It's never too busy, great laid back atmosphere, and awesome sports TV is always on. They do brew their own beer, hubby seems to like them, but they also offer other local brews and awesome seltzers (lavender is the best!). We will continue to take our Friday and Saturday nights here and look forward to it each week.

Yelp
The burger was very well cooked. The real game changer was the gochujang ketchup for the fries was a huge hit between my wife and I. So much so we started experimenting with it at home. We also got the popcorn chicken from across the way and they were accommodating to enjoying it at the bar top. Decent selection of beers I'm sure they are going to add more beers as foot traffic increases. If you haven't checked out this place it's worth the trip.

Jeff K.

Yelp
This is my first time visiting this restaurant. It is a recently opened business near Costco in Eastvalle. The employee that waited was very friendly and helped explain the menu. The food was exceptional. They have a large assortments of beers and wines. I highly recommend this business. I will be back.

Kelly W.

Yelp
Came here during soft opening. There wasn't much people so it was nice and relaxing. Service was a bit slow, but it was their soft opening so they're likely still figuring out logistics especially with the shared kitchen concept. We ordered the Monkey King Burger which is an umami flavored asian fusion burger. The ginger slaw was a refreshing element and surprisingly very cohesive with the burger. Also loved the gochujang ketchup with the fries!

Yelp
Brand new has a decent beer selection and great burgers that have delicious taste to it , very well seasoned. Good sides as well Manager not very customer friendly, which will throw you off on a brand new establishment not a month old. Bartender good tho
