Sushidelic Is a Kawaii Conveyor Belt Sushi Restaurant | Eater NY

"I associate Tokyo’s hyper-colored, maximalist Hello Kitty–style and pastel neon cafes with artist Sebastian Masuda, who created Kawaii Monster Cafe — a Tokyo tourist destination that closed during COVID. Masuda’s work, including his 6%DOKIDOKI brand and collaborations with Hello Kitty and Pac-Man, helped fuel the consumer side of the kawaii explosion and export the subculture beyond Japan." - John Tsung

There are so many good things to say. The most important part is, you should try it!!! First of all, this is a place where I saw staff and customers freely talking to each other. If you are a foreigner that want to casually speak Japanese this is a wonderful place to start. The staff and customers are extremely friendly and forgiving if you make mistakes. The food is quickly prepared and it is definitely made with love. And the interior is a whole adventure of drawings and memorabilia and other interesting things. I am sure I forget to mention some things, but please. If you have even a mild interest, you should absolutely go to Monster Party!

What a cool thematic cafe! It’s a one-of-a-kind cafe—no spells on the food here, just an absolutely great vibe and atmosphere. The two "Monster Waitresses" are super nice and super cute. They genuinely try their best to communicate, even with non-Japanese speakers. Even the customers are friendly; I had an unexpected conversation about lightsabers with another patron, which totally highlights the welcoming spirit of the place! If you bring a little courage to speak (even a tiny bit of Japanese helps!), they will try their hardest to have a conversation. I will definitely be back when I visit Tokyo again!

I went to this cafe a few months ago but am finally getting around to a review. I had a amazing time at this cafe and I really cannot recommend this place enough. English menus available and our host, Monaka, was incredibly nice and fun to talk too. I'm into toys and sofubi which this place had a lot of but also I think anyone could come here to relax and chill out with a fun twist.

Very nice staff. They speak some english but bring something to translate just in case. Small space. No reservation needed. There is a cover charge. Check the hours of operation, it was only at night when I went. Not to far of a walk from main akihabara area.
