Ah, yes, Los Gatos, California - one of the few places you see the brand new Corvette with the blonde hair and the license plate “TXDAD”. Montebello market is a great discovery. When out and about - checking out Lexington reservoir for fishing - and dropping down into Los Gatos for a beautiful days lunch. Where to go? And there it was near the post office. It’s good to see a business thriving, people working that enjoy themselves, and a great lunch of Rueben sandwich, pickle, and pasta salad. Great helpings, fun place, and the outside area is a permanent area not temporary-looking with bay bales everywhere. Some improvements like the people next table did not like as much their soup - they thought it lacked flavor. But a perfect ten is hard to find when businesses are sometimes only just getting up to speed. Go there and support a good, fun, local business and have a very good meal for reasonable prices. Thanks!

Very friendly spot. Great for Jazz in the Plazz. Sandwiches looked huge. We enjoyed the fries, breakfast burrito, and a dessert of the really special funnel cake fries. Suzie (sp?) and the whole crew were very welcoming and helpful from an ordering and wine selection process.

We were coming to enjoy the holiday carriage ride in Los Gatos. Registration was in front of Montebello cafe. The team from the Los Gatos Chamber of Commerce and the cafe team provided us with hot chocolate and a box of cookies while waiting for our carriage. A warm and welcoming place. Awesome holiday spirit in the town. The ride was around beautiful decorated Streets of the town.

The crew were very friendly. The market itself is an interesting combination of things. I'll have to stop by to try some of the pastries or sandwiches. We stopped by for some tea after dinner. The tea was good, but they filled up the cup halfway for some reason, which is weird.

Best Rueben sandwich in Los Gatos and best flower arrangements in Los Gatos. Thirsty, grab a beverage, plenty to choose from. Service is 5 stars.

Cute spot right next to the plaza. They have soft serve!! In addition to market goods they also have sandwiches and prepackaged fresh salads.

I typically don’t write reviews, but I had to rave about this market. It’s a charming shop across the street from a park with a water feature, which my kids love. It’s so easy to grab something from the market, throw down a blanket, and have a picnic. Inside the store there is so much to explore. My kids are always begging me for a small toy or one of their unique crafted candies. When we come in for a bite to eat, we find ourselves looking at all the artisanal products they have. I always come home with a new cheese and a condiment to try. They even have flowers. You can tell the owners took the time to try all the products, and picked their favorite ones including the rare alcohol, and carefully selected wines. My kids and I both enjoy eating, and shopping here. They really do have something for everyone.
