Monte's Gourmet Dogs

Me and a few buddies gave Monte's a try today and let me tell you, it was awesome. We all got some different and everything was packed full of flavor and definitely exceeded all expectations I had. The creole dog was outrageously good and packed with flavor. I'd come back just for that! Great service as well, one man show and he handled his business. Definitely will be going back!

We ordered two to try, The Chicago and NY Dog. let's just say it was like being in each of those cities when you took a bite into them. The Chicago with the spicy peppers and the NY with the spicy mustard and sauerkraut, so good! Go upstairs at the Parlor for these yummy dogs!! Monte was making the dogs him self with the most amazing service. Bring them outside or downstairs and listened to a live musician. couldn't have been a nicer evening!

The combination of a spicy link and onion rings is an exceptional culinary experience. Yall should check it out!

A lil busy for the afternoon but excellent service! Got the veggie dog w soy dog & it was soo yum. Full of veggies and tasty onion rings, well done. Super tasty. Highly recommend!!!

Just excellence. I told him I had never been there before & he greeted me as if I had. I wasn’t expecting so much flavor. I was surprised lmao so good. Definitely worth it and prices are great. 10/10.

Mr. Monte has his own recipes & we tried Etouffe gator dog which was wonderful. We went with his suggestion of the boudin sausage & all the flavors came together so nicely. We also feasted on his crispy onion rings which were some of the best I have eaten. I will go back for the dogs but Mr. Monte is one of the nicest young men & makes you want to return.

Ordered 2 dogs to go (Chicago & Creole). They looked great, and the Chicago was really good, but the creole was very bad. The creole dog and add-ons were burnt to a crisp. Not sure why a cook would let it leave the kitchen like that. I guess attention to detail is lacking. It was burnt so bad, I couldn’t even eat it and needed up throwing it away. The creole costs $12 because they add shrimp to it, but the burnt dog overpowered everything. There’s a lot of toppings added, so unless you dig through it, you won’t see if it’s cooked properly or burnt.

Great service great prices especially during happy hour I love the homemade chilli in the chilli dogs would definitely recommend

Hot dog was extremely salty, didn't even finish it. The chili was not gourmet at all, opened up a can and warmed up. The onion rings were great! Very friendly people and quick service but I expected better!

The best gourmet dogs in OKC. My favorite is the creole and onion rings. The onion rings are homemade right in front of you. Great flavors and service all the way.

Amazing hot dogs ever! Monte is the nicest human to have made my first Oklahoma trip memorable! Definitely coming back when I'm in town! Also the homemade onion rings thee most perfect onions rings I have ever tasted!

Worst service I've had in maybe my whole life. I get there before closing to pick up my to go order, and I get greeted with a "We are closing go away". As I proceed to try to tell the worker there I was here for pickup, he curses me out for 2 FULL minutes and tells me to take my food and go. He was an older grumpy guy with a gray beard and shorter. I sure hope he gets fired. Food was cold too. Never eating here again

The hotdogs were great and the location is above the normal. The service was great. I would recommend this place to my friends and family.

We were in town for the weekend. We went to Automobile Alley to eat and came upon this place, didn't know anything about it. We had two dogs and sat out in the open community tables. The dogs were very good! Honestly we only eat dogs once or twice a year but these hit the spot! We would go again.

Monte's has the tastiest hot dogs, mouth-watering onion rings, outstanding customer service and located in a fun, lively spot (my family happened to be in town when the OKC Thunder (Western Conference Champions) were approaching their Championship. This trip to Monte's was simply AMAZING. I wish Monte's could deliver to my home in Atlanta (I can still savor the delicious hot dogs in my mind after my visit several weeks ago). Monte's Gourmet Dogs are an excellent recommendation for cookouts and tail gate parties. I give Monte's a 5 * rating [HANDS DOWN].

Our first visit to Montes, we have been missing out!! The service was awesome and the Dogs were the best! Seriously, I ate 2 and onion rings, this place is Amazing! Absolutely will be back and I Highly recommend you try it out!

Their location at The Parlor in OKC was great! Very good service and good food! The chicken hot dog was delicious!

Monte is a really great guy slinging some tasty gourmet dogs out of this converted van. Former partner in the Doggie Style franchise, he apparently ditched his former partner and changed his brand..for the much better! I had tried the now defunct brick-n-mortar a few times, and I didn't care for it. But I can attest, Monte himself does them better! Their Houstoner was one of the better Coney-style dogs I've had in a long while!

The variety of the "dogs" was fantastic. There was something for everyone! They were all made fresh and to order. I got the Bird Dog and it was packed with seasoning and sauce and was so tender. Hands down best grilled chicken sandwich I've had. I absolutely recommend Monte's and will be coming back.

Montes Gourmet Dogs are Pure Bliss! The customer service is outstanding, it's a gourmet food truck so the atmosphere is atmosphere. BUT, the star of the show for is the Creole & Etouffe Gator Dogit gives EVERYONE NEEDS TO TRY IT!

Highly recommend the creole dog, if you can handle some heat! Will definitely seek Monte's out again in the future!
