Monticello ATL

Went out to catch a comedy show. But we were also able to stay for the R& B bingo, which was so much fun. For cocktails, old-fashioned and lemon Drop 🍋 For appetizers,wings, fries, and jerk eggrolls . The place has three areas to include a club and a cigar bar. If you are sensitive to cigar smoke, you could be bothered by the occasional heavy scent of cigar smoke as people go in and out of that door. They also offer hookah!

Omg! Monticello ATL is Atlanta premiere place to eat, have fun, drink and just be grown and sexy. The food is tasty and affordable. Every staff member is attentive and personable from the guy outside checking id’s to the hostess to the waitress staff. Special shout out to the manager Chris for being present, attentive and making sure the customers are satisfied. I’m having a party there and Amanda the party representative is the best! She’s attentive, responsive and listens to details. Where customer service and good times are a thing of the past in many places Monticello gets it right!

Nice live band and DJ Friday night. The food is HORRIBLE! I ordered the firecracker shrimp and got hard fried chicken. That’s how had it was. I could not even swallow it. It was stale and old. The jerk wings were overly salted blackened wings with no jerk flavor at all. The margarita I ordered - was upsold but they still provided bottom shelf liquor.

Went on a Ssturday night for date night. Didn't eat, but the drinks were good. I was so disappointed that they had no chocolate for a chocolate martini. The DJ was AMAZING! They walk you to a table when you enter. That was impressive for a lounge. Nice crowd. A comedy show took place while we were there. There are 3 rooms, including a cigar bar area. Our waitress was nice. Had a blast and danced all night.

1/6/23 The food is fantastic and free kinda (2 items minimum purchase). The wait staff was good considering it was busy. The DJ was hot, music was on point. It all went downhill after visiting the disgusting in need of repairs like yesterday bathroom. The bathroom stunk, the club started to smell like a stale ashtray, and I had to leave so I was unable to stay for the comedy show. I have no plans to ever return. Couldn't wait to wash that stench off.

Beautiful place.. was such a nice day out... overall... I would go again... I think the chaos of mothers day overwhelmed the staff. I was not happy with plastic silverware.. ESPECIALLY if my plate costs $27. Now for the food. It was a 53 minute wait. I got the slamming salmon. I requested it blackened. It was cold and bland and NOT seasoned at all...with 3 tiny little shrimp and hardly and crab. and no veggies at all on the menu..... My husband got the cheeseburger.. how can you mess up a burger?? Overcook it and then serve it cold with cold fries. My girlfriend ordered wings and they had to be redone 3 times because they were not cooked in the middle. And the salt and pepper shakers were just plain nasty and sticky.. what is the brown stuff all over the bottle.... I can't make this up.

I've been here a total of three times and each time has not disappointed me. This place it has a lot of eye candy and the staff is usually so down-to-earth and friendly. I decided to go on Sunday for the first time for brunch and karaoke and I had a blast. I love the ambience of the space and that they had a gorgeous patio where all the fly guys were. I think I'm almost in love with the place because it gives you different things to do at once if you're bored. Because of Sunday karaoke, they seat you with any random people but I ended up loving the girl I sat with. The first thing she recommended was the lobster macaroni and jerk egg rolls. I followed her lead and my God it was soooo good that I ordered another round to-go for both so that I can have some for the work week. Outstanding job on food .... I had never had jerk egg rolls and they set the bar. The mac and cheese was super creamy, soft & cheesy while the fried lobster tails was buttery and melted in my mouth. Oh and I forgot that I ordered a side of collard greens but I must say that was very Tangy, Sweet and too vinegary for my liking but I ate it anyway because it's healthy and it could have been worse. I had about four drinks so they could work on that because I didn't feel s***. Needless to say I spent about $200 just on myself... LOL I will be back.

Had a pretty nice evening with my girlfriends. Music was cool, atmosphere was grown and sexy!! Our server was very pleasant! Drinks were on point ! I suggest the Mango Margarita !! The food was amazing . I ordered the Lobster Mac and cheese and I was impressed so good! The only thing there is one bathroom stall and was very hot. My friend purchased a fan to stay cool ! Lol Overall it was a vibe!!
