Montreal Chinese Crepes & Dumplings

One of the best dumplings I’ve ever had 😍 you can tell they were made with care. Also, first time trying Chinese crepes and they’re soooo good! Crispy and perfectly seasoned. Loved everything about my experience here 💜

10/10 I've been wanting to go here for so long! Got their pan fried dumplings and spring roll, so yummy and flavourful. The owners are very nice and caring towards their customers. Definetely coming back!

This is the definition of a whole in the wall, but let me tell you, it's a cheap and delicious restaurant. Everything from the service to the food and the atmosphere was stellar. Absolute Montreal gem! MUST TRY!

This place is a hidden gem 💎 I’m so happy I found this little treasure in my neighborhood! They are absolutely delightful and happy to serve you well in both English and En Francais! The vibes are immaculate 👍The ordering process could not be easier, ready to go at your convenience. The food is absolutely delectable! The dumplings are packed with flavour, seasoned and fried/boiled to perfection…so many options to try! The fried rice is simple and also spectacular, authentic taste, the best I’ve had in a while. The Chinese crepes are amazing and a massive portion to boot. I’ve not yet tried everything but I will soon enough! Well done you guys! If you’re looking for a fast and easy solution for lunch or dinner, this is as affordable as it is delicious, you’ll be hooked like I am 😂 (There even an option to buy dumplings frozen so you can enjoy them whenever you wish) Can’t wait to see you again soon ❤️ You guys are THE BEST! Truly the best dumplings I’ve had. We pick them up at least once a week, and they’re delicious every time. So happy to have this place in Montreal West!

I was not impressed with the Jian Bing (Chinese crepes), and that’s what I came for! I lived in china and got used to eating Jian Bing but found that this version was Quebecified for the worst. Bean paste flavour was weak, lettuce made the wrap larger than normal, crepe was a little soggy. It felt much more like a cross between a crepe, Mexican burrito, and Jian Bing than a Jian Bing. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t what I was looking for and it didn’t blow me away. The price was reasonable but not incredible, I regret not going for the dumplings.

Decided to check out the newest Chinese crepe/dumpling place in town. They've been getting good press from Montreal Eater and the Gazette. The people coming in were hilarious to listen to; they clearly don't know much, if anything, about Chinese street food. The name is incredibly generic and the storefront is essentially hidden. It's located right beside a flower shop. I walked over for a late snack on a Thursday afternoon. The place is small but they have a couple of seats if you stay to eat. Most people were grabbing takeout. Found out the owner is originally from Dalian (northern China). She's very interactive and friendly with all the customers. Seems she already has quite a few regulars. - Traditional jian bing guo ($4.99) - I've only seen this at one other spot in town. This one is made fresh. Crispy with an addictive soy bean paste sauce and filled with lettuce and fried wonton strips. - Sweet & spicy beef dumplings ($3.99) - they don't normally do half orders but I got lucky and she let me try out their jiao zi. Homemade, you normally get 16 in one order. Slight sweetness from the sauce and a tad bit of spice in the filling. Half order was perfect solo. Always happy when places specialize on doing one or two things well. Great that street food is getting some hype! Debit or cash only. 3.5 stars.

What a gem! This was recommended by a friend of mine and it was absolutely great! We arrived around 6:30, ordered 2 Chinese crepes and dumplings to share. Mind you, they close at 7 but she stayed and took in customers way passed 7. Outstanding service! The owner was there, she was very warm and welcoming. She quickly served us water and invited us to sit outside while our food was being prepared. It was very quick but boy was it AMAZING!? It was seasoned to perfection, dumplings were juicy and flavourful. I'm so glad my parents live in the area because I will be back for sure!

I wouldn't go back. Glad I was able to sample a Chinese crepe, however. The food was just a bit underwhelming. The shrimp dumplings were pretty delicious, however.

Very small family run restaurant in the heart of Westminster. There are a lot of different options, I had the spinach & carrot dumplings with spring rolls. The food was fresh and tasty, the service was friendly and efficient. Prices are reasonable and there are meat & veggie options. Will definitely be going back on a regular basis!

Yes, it is cheap, yest it is the only place in the whole neighborhood with Asian cuisine but no, it is NOT worth it. The spicy is just salty with some crushed chilies in in. We had to add Sriracha sauce to make it taste good! In fact, we had to add sauce to make it taste like anything. If you really want dumplings and not spend too much money, go to Chinatown and buy some frozen and eat them at home. Or any other place with a high concentration of Asian people. I had such high hopes for Montreal Chinese Crepes & Dumplings based on their rave reviews but clearly, none of these have tried Qing Hua in their lives. Save yourself the long line of angry old ladies screaming at each other and hobbling over the steps for some 'sweet and spicy' dumplings. they are neither sweet,not spicy,not worth the wait.

We purchased the frozen dumplings. Spicy beef Tofu and Veggie Spinach and Carrot These are awesome. Love them. They gave us instructions on how to prepare them and it worked like a charm. They have definitely made a new regular customer.

I tried the beer batter fried chicken crepe, and was impressed. I came here from Toronto and this place was highly recommended. The crepe was fabulous and definitely worth returning!!!!

Love this place! My girlfriend and I go whenever we have a chance to my girlfriend is from China and she says it tastes exactly like the food she had in her hometown. Every dish on the menu is great I can choose blindly and will still be satisfied! Highly recommend to try its very affordable I mean that's why high school students rush the place every lunch hour but if you love asian food like I do then give it a try!

I already left a 5 star review for the dumplings but had to write another review after trying their crepe. IT WAS SCRUMPTIOUS. In the future, I will have a hard time deciding between the two.

Nice little Chinese snack bar serving delicious Chinese crêpes and dumplings at the most unexpected place on Westminster. The crepes are thin and delicate, stuffed with your choice of meat or veggies and folded to eat like a sandwich. The beef jerky one was tasty and a bit spicy, while the pork one was delicious and less spicy. The dumplings are delicate and very good. The place is very clean but seating is limited to 2 counters against the wall. Perfect for a quick fix. I would definitively recommend.
