It was amazing, so much variety and entertainment, if it weren't for the chilly weather would have stayed longer and seen more, no pics but place des arts beautiful and cozy

Wear rubber boots if possible, very slushy, dress warm if going on ferris wheel, it can get cold on top, be prepared for long line ups. Variety of installations to suit all ages, easly spend 2 hours there. Live DJ with music that's actually good! We had fun.

Love this yearly festival! The music, the lights, the art pieces, the 🎡! It is all fun and games for all ages! The arts and games are all free so it’s fun for the whole family to come spend the day and check it out. Make sure to see the website for more info as they have a whole program!

This place is absolutely wonderful, especially in the evenings. The open atmosphere and well-lit environment make it a beautiful setting to gather and enjoy with friends and family. Although it can get crowded at times, it adds to the lively and energetic aura of the place. My friends and I have visited twice, on March 6th and March 10th, and we cannot get enough of it. The party area is spacious and perfect for just hanging out and relaxing. There is also a nearby bar that allows you to grab a drink and take a nice walk around. Additionally, there are plenty of activities for kids, including small games that are free to play. If you're feeling hungry, there are great dining options available, and a beautiful mall right in front of it. Overall, it's an amazing place to visit and highly recommended!

Nice event for families. Expected the arena to be bigger. The ferris wheel was for free. Also, it's not huge, but it was fun. The location is perfect. There are lots of restaurants near the event.

Quite a few activities and interesting pieces. Vibe was great. Music selection created a nice mood. Personal favourite was the ferris wheel, which went around 4 or 5 times & it was free to ride it.

Fun activities. We enjoyed our time there even it was a very cold night. The skating rinks are a must try! The Ferris wheel is a bit too fast for me, but I made it!

Yelp
I always forget to review this festival but it's my favourite winter event! It's so fun and lively, it'll make you forget it's cold outside. I try to visit every year because they always have new additions and activities. This year there were a few changes: -reservations ahead of time for the big 3 activities (ferris wheel, zip line, and slide). I think this change made sense theoretically but in practice it was very messy. They didn't advertise well enough that the tickets existed, so tons of people just showed up and were very confused. Also at first the tickets were available at 5pm BEFORE the day you planned on visiting and then it was changed to 1 hour before the festival opened for THAT day and that day only. Tickets were for 20 minute to 15 minute time slots. The scanning process was slow since so many people didn't know to reserve in advance, and sometimes the employees would just not care and let anyone in so the tickets served no purpose. -Less food trucks but more food booths (from sponsors like the milk company and maple syrup company). -The bell lounge didn't have phone cleaning or VR activities anymore, It was more for drinks and live music performances. - New Tim Hortons game where you threw pucks at a giant screen. -Cheese festival inside the mall! (very packed though so didn't visit) I really love this festival but it's too short! Make it available for 3 weeks and still end on the Nuit Blanche!

Yelp
Went Friday night and wasn't disappointed. Weather was 2 no rain and not to many people. There was a hour wait for the sledding you grab a pass and watch the clock. Ferris wheel was a super quick line. You go around slow at first then fast the last two times. There's curling and little hand clappers so you can cheer for your team. The saq is in a igloo which was super cool might not of been made of snow but It was just as cool. Fire pits everywhere to keep warm and you can even roast marshmallows super cute idea !

Yelp
The experience here presented by Renoir of Chef extraordinaire Lionel Rodríguez is an absolute awe... the service by Derrick is exquisite with great insight to the menu. Ambience of the restaurant is casual and yet relaxing with the finer touches of the 5-6 Star it deserves. Highly recommend for a nice place to dine, talk and not to forget the delicious cuisine.

Yelp
Winter festival at his best ! Montréal en lumière (Montreal High Lights Festival) is one of the biggest Winter festivals in the World and it's happening every years in Montreal, lucky we are. You have many things to experiment + see about gastronomy, theater, music, performing arts,... The best for me during the festival, it's ''Nuit Blanche'', 1 night only, you have nearly 200 cultural activities all night for free or with fees all around Montreal (Downtown, Old Town, Plateau, Villeray, Olympic Park) . We enjoyed my girlfriend and I, a visit at a museum, live choir into a church, visit of a design center, drank hot wine on Place des Festival into the Quartier des Spectacles....Clearly a festival that I enjoy for the joys of winter. 4/5 visited in February 2016

Yelp
A visit to the outdoor site of Montreal En Lumiere can be a little awkward. Without the lights... without the crowds...something is missing. Some activities still opens like the Milk Urban Slide, RBC Dome, Ferris Wheel. There are also some food stalls open and my Arumula with coffee did help to lift my spirit... I need to come back during night time...... next time!

Yelp
Compared to last year's event, the weather was perfect this year. It was not cold and warm enough to spend a good amount of the night outdoors. The amount of people that attended this year was insane. There was no place to move. New features: the chalet (odd outdoor tented club beside the ferris wheel-wasn't too impressed by this) and some new art shows. I went to the Edifice Wilder Espace Danse which was hosting a break dancing show (didn't get to see-line was too long) and a high school dance/rave in an open space (again wasn't feeling this) that has a cash only bar. I appreciated the fact the festival mondiales des cidres was back at the complex des jardins. The food court was also open all night which was great to grab a bite after all that walking. Overall impression- I might skip out on this one for warmer weather!
