Plant based goodness!!! Sooooo good, the tots were addicting and I could have easily gotten my fill just from them alone. The burger was very good too, I love the siracha sauce on it 😋 I didn’t get to try the drinks because the C02 for the pop was down, but it just gives me something to look forward to next time. Even my carnivore friend was impressed! Highly recommended and so glad it was a short walk from my hotel 😊

This place was really good! Im not really a fan of vegan food but this, This was great. Lots of food for one meal! I got myself some chicken strips, fries and tots and a cookie. I wasnt really expecting to like it. The crazy thing is, the chicken strip tasted like chicken strip, Which blew my mind. The fries and tots were really good. The last course, the cookie, The cookie actually tasted really good! Forget mcdonalds, This is the REAL food from a box resturaunt.

Before you dig deeper everything they sell is vegan! 😊One of our favorite date spots in riverside, we usually come here for the vegan burgers and the tots. The chicken sandwich is also fantastic considering its one of those items you miss when you go vegan. The sauce selections are great and the staff are always so sweet and pleasant to talk to. We used to get the shake too but after a heavy meal putting on that shake can make you feel super full! Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

Love Monty’s! We always go to the one in La and tried this one last weekend since we were in the area ! Unfortunately they over cook the patties here . It doesn’t have the same taste as the la location. Even tried their cone ice cream - not great flavor but we love the matcha latte !

This place was soooooooooo good!!!! I went there today for lunch with my husband. The staff were super sweet too. My husband who doesn’t “get” vegan food couldn’t even resist taking some bites of my food. The shakes are also gorgeous!! Special shoutout to the employee wearing the “Arnold Palmer” Twin Peaks shirt! 😂

I used to love to order their tater tots. Yum. Last time, they were over done and barely edible. This time they were burnt to a crisp. I took them to go and when I opened up the package, I was shocked. There is no way that the employee didn't realize they were burnt when they took them out of the fryer. I took a bite and they were disgusting. I'll find somewhere else to get lunch from now on.

I ordered delivery so I am not sure about the atmosphere. The food however was incredible. I got the chicken sandwich, a single burger, the impossible hot dog, the just like heaven shake and the travis' oat matcha latte shake. EVERY ITEM SLAPPED. I am jealous of people who live on the West Coast because your vegan food is miles above the East Coast. Highly recommend coming here.

Absolute VEGAN dream. Tried the burger, hot dog, fries, tots, and Vanilla shake! All AMAZING! Perfect place to sit at the bar and eat Vegan food while having a Beer from BEERFARM located in the same common area. I love this place!!!!!

Stopped by Monty's this evening for dinner to go. I had a double "cheeseburger", the 50/50 tater tots/fries and a chocolate shake. All of it was delicious and all of it was vegan! The burger was a big tasty messy juicy mess, just the way I like it. The fries and tots were crispy and hot and the chocolate shake was extra thick and creamy good. Monty's totally nailed it. So satisfying! Counter service is fast and friendly. They hustle to get your order out nice and hot. If you are craving fast food and are in the mood for a classic fast food burger then come here directly. Highly recommend.

I'm trying to clean out my yelp draft box so found my unfinished draft for Monty's. I first visited years ago while living in Riverside. This was my introduction to plant based burgers and it completely changed my perspective, particularly the Impossible burger, which I do seem to prefer over the Beyond. The Mrs. And I visited long before we had the Little One. So it was just us two. Food: - Double burger: juicy, flavorful, and savory, with a texture that could easily rival any traditional burger. - Vanilla milkshake: Rich, creamy. Hard to believe it's non-dairy and even plant based. - Shoestring fries: solid, though not particularly standout. But hey, fries are almost always inherently vegan anyway, so I wasn't expecting anything groundbreaking. Before Monty's, I wasn't into plant-based burgers, but this spot won me over. It's one of the many excellent options in the Riverside Food Lab, which, along with Monty's, is something I truly miss about living in Riverside.

It was my first time trying Monty's. The service was great. It is located inside the Food Lab, which is cool because you can grab other beverages or desserts after your meal. I didn't realize this was a plant based hamburger, my bad. I ordered the double cheeseburger burger. It lacked a little bit of flavor, the fries were good. I'm sure anyone who eats plant based meals would probably love this place, unfortunately it was not for me.

I love Monty's! I wish I lived closer to this location. I'd eat it once a week, easily. Some of my favorites are the plant based chick'n and the maxed out tots! Yummy! I also enjoy the kale salad with chick'n. The burgers are really good. It looks like they added an impossible hot dog to the menu. My friend said that was really good. I ordered the chick'n tenders combo that comes with tots and a drink. Oh and a chocolate chip cookie. They won't let you customize the tots or change the cookie. The chick'n tenders were good. I wish they were crunchy and more crispy. The cookie was soft. I enjoyed the sparkling strawberry lemonade. Ambiance is super hipster. Service was great. They also sell t-shirts and jackets. Free stickers are available at the front.

Maybe things would be different in person. First time trying this place and had to have my food delivered. Unfortunately the food had to seasoning. Order cheeseburger and 50/50 tots and fries. Both the burger and fries had no seasoning and none came on the side to add to either. Also asked for ketchup and got 1 packet. LOL. Not one to knock a place for a delivery and so I will be trying this place again in person because I was referred here for great food.

Indulgent vegan fast food in a vibey food establishment. Come here, get the burger and tots (try several sauces). Return for the milkshake for the ride home. It will hold you for hours.

At the center of the Riverside Food Lab, Monty's Good Burger seemed like a popular choice as it draws a solid flow of customers. And deservingly so. It was unexpectedly good for a fully plant-based meal. The impossible burger still had that slightly different texture, but unless you really paid attention it's quite spot on. The "cheese" if you can call it that is fantastic on the dog pile 50/50 of fries and tots. This one isn't on the menu. If you're looking for a regular soda, you'll need to go to another vendor as they only serve a few limited specialty drinks here. It's a shared commons area but seating is ample and parking is validated for 1.5hrs.

First degree veggie murder! Food so good you'll slap ya mama! The staff is having fun and got the vibes. It's in the food court so there is a great atmosphere all different kinds of cultures. This is my first visit and I'll be back not vegan but it's bussin.

First time trying a Monty's Burger and it was GOOD! Their plant based/vegan burgers were one of the better ones I've had! Their flavors were good and the double is pretty massive. Decided to go ahead and get the 50/50 fries and tots and a drink to try it out. It's came out to about $25. A hefty price point but I think worth it for portion size and to me it tasted great. Service was quick got my order in about 10 minutes and the seating was bar style. I got my order to go since there's other seating around the food hall. I'm happy I finally got to have a chance to try Monty's but it won't be the last time I get another burger in the future!

Quick,easy and yummy! I love this place! It's located in the food lab downtown Riverside. The parking structure has always been easy to access and feels safe. Very easy to park and walk right down to the food lab, every-time I've parked there has been an attendant at the structure. Lots of options in this area and Monty's is always my go to. All vegan everything which is great, spicy chicken sandwich's and tots are my favorite. Service is easy walk up and order the food lab it's self is loud and busy I've sat inside and outside but perfer outside it's not as noisy.

So happy to find an all vegan restaurant inside of a food court. The second I saw Monty's I was like nope not looking at other menus: I want Monty's! I got the dog pile with super easy sauce (secret menu) and Charlie's Chicken Sandwich. The dog pile has choice of French fries or tator tots topped with two impossible patties, caramelized onion, cheese, and all their sauces. I got half tator tots and half fries. So delicious! Will definitely be back for more goodness! There's counter seating around Monty's. The food court has restrooms in the back, tall seating and some regular seating. I don't like the seating situation because it's not safe for folks who can't get on the tall chairs and they need more ADA compliant tables. Staff at Monty's are nice.

I absolutely love Montys! I started eating their burgers back when I lived in LA and I was so happy to see them in Riverside when I moved here. Their burgers are so delicious! I love their tater tots' crispiness as well. The Riverside location is inside the Food Lab. If you're looking to stop by quickly, this wouldn't be the ideal location for you as parking is usually tough. You also have to walk inside to order, but it's totally worth it in my opinion! The workers are always professional and get your items out as quickly as they can. They sometimes even like to chat if you're sitting at their counters so that's nice. I did notice, however, that recently their space has gotten dusty and a little dirty. It makes sense that with time they're accumulating dirt, dust, etc. As a customer, though, I was a little disappointed to see for example a dusty fan being used in the area where the food is handled. Hope they get to cleaning it soon! Other than that, enjoy your burgers!

Pretty good vegan fast food. Just pricey though. I've enjoyed their chicken sandwich as well as their burgers. Tots are delish. I just wish they offered the frozen hot chocolate all year round because that was their best flavor soft serve/shake! But they only have it around January. Sadface. The matcha one is also good but it's too grainy, per the last time I had it. Needed to be mixed more. Their floats are ok and the hotdog is ok too.

located inside the Riverside Food Lab cute diner looking booths to dine in, the service was nice. They were patient as I was looking at the menu. Vegetarian friendly menu including burgers, chicken tenders, chicken sandwich. They also offer ice cream and milkshakes. I got the Nashville Chick'n Sandwich with a side of habanero sauce. The sandwich was the size of my hand. The Chick'n itself was well seasoned, not dry. The habanero sauce was very mild, reminded me of mustard.

Super cool shared food hall with multiple vendors and open seating. Stopped in for a treat, Oreo shake, cookie and tater tots. Shake was delicious, cookie was honestly a little dry but I salvaged it by putting the cookie IN the shake. Day was saved. Casual walk up counter, quick service via pager.

Good burgers, great marketing! On our way to Stagecoach, we stopped by Food Labs to grab dinner and I decided to try Monty's after noticing they were a vendor slated to be at Stagecoach as well. Monty's has set the bar for me for great tasting vegan food. The entire crew was vibrant, friendly, and guided me through my first visit. I opted for the spicy chicken sandwich and WOW was I blown away! The patty had amazing flavor, texture, and taste. The brioche buns were done to perfection, and the sauces paired very well with the sandwich. I have been exploring other vegan options, but nothing has topped Monty's for me. On our trip back from Stagecoach, we stopped by Food Labs again and I was able to try the "cheeseburger" option, but I did not find it as enjoyable as the chicken sandwich. Get your vegan fix here, you won't regret it!

Came here a long time ago and probably like the most mid experience ever. The food was overpriced and mid. The portions for a $15 meal were that of a kids meal.

Monty's Good Burger has GOOD burgers!! What's better than a good burger, tots, and an oreo shake?? A vegan burger, tots, and vegan shake!! Definitely satisfied my craving for a some junk food. We tried the single cheeseburger, crispy chicken sandwich, tater tots, and an oreo milkshake. The chicken sandwich and tots were definitely the highlight of our meal especially with the honey mustard sauce. The chicken sandwich had a generous amount of pickles and the tots were extra crispy! The shake tasted very oat-y because of the soft serve base and could have used more oreo bits. The last time we've been here was 2021 and the prices have gone up a bit but that's expected ig. I'm here for the Hot Chicken Sandwich omg! The chicken sandwich is a solid 5/5. Not too spicy, just enough to add the flavors. I was also impressed with their soft serve ice cream. I've been on a mission find the best vegan soft serve and this one is up there!! For $5 it gives you that soft serve creamy texture. Friendly & quick. Casual dining experience. Wish there were more Monty's nearby.

So right now I'm exploring the Vegan life. Never in my life would did I think I would enjoy such a good spicy chicken sandwich that's VEGAN!!!! The employees are so sweet and bring all the right vibes with service and music. And the colors are super vibrant here and it gives old school. Definitely coming again

We had such a positive experience trying Monty's Good Burger! This location is nestled in the middle of the Riverside Food Lab, a popular space that houses several different eateries. The ambience is quite lively and crowded, so take that into consideration if that's not the type of vibe you want. The staff here are super friendly and were patient to answer our questions. The stand has a handful of stools to sit on if you're dining in and we managed to snag of couple of them as we waited for our food. When we got our order, we were relieved that we decided to share a cheeseburger and dog pile. The portions were huge! My husband does not typically seek out vegan or plant-based food but he really liked his experience. He later on said he couldn't tell that the food was vegan! If we're ever in the area again I'll definitely come back to try the rest of their options!

Really good vegan burgers, promise you won't tell the difference. Only three employees working when I arrived so they were a bit slow on getting orders out. (Saturday around 3-4pm) Love that it's inside a food hall with many other options incase someone wants something different. Lots of seating indoor and outdoor, parking was a breeze. Some of the restaurants have TVs so you can watch any sports game while you enjoy your food. Spent $50 for two people, thought it was on the pricey side but the food was good so no complaints.

First time trying Monty's Good Burger. The burgers themselves were filling, savory, and fair sized. The milkshake was really but nothing too special and the fries were somewhat lackluster. The service was good and the ambiance was really friendly/unique. My partner and I were really entertained by the word search and coloring supplies on the tables! Haha! It feels like a fun late night environment and I would definitely stop by again!

The burger was not as good as I thought it was going to be. It's a fully plant based burger and just didn't taste as good as I thought it was going to be after seeing the pictures. I would definitely go back to try the chicken but the burger just didn't sit right with me or my stomach. Service was just ok and the atmosphere was pleasant as there are many restaurants in that building

Place is great. If you're into great vegan burgers this is the best in town (although if you're into vegan Asian cults, check out Veg & Go). They also have great shakes. It's very hipster and sometimes you'll hear the smiths, so I assume this is a good modern date place for sullen people.

I reached out to Monty's Burger and I didn't get a clear response to the situation so I want to say customer service was poor. And food preparation was very poor. Such a bright kitchen open prep room you would think it could be cleaner that's a long piece of hair.

I can't believe that everything here is vegan! I've been here multiple times and my go-to order is the Dog Pile Tater Tots. They are delicious! I love how crispy the tater tots are. My only complaint about them is that there is an overwhelming amount of caramelized onions in this dish, and it becomes too salty. The burgers here are great, but a little expensive. I wouldn't recommend the chicken sandwiches, but I've enjoyed everything else I've tried! Depending on the day, it can be a little hard to find seating. If there are no more tables outside, there are also more tables on the upper level!

[Menu]: Simple menu - Single/Double Monty's Good Burger (Impossible Patty), Charlie's Chicken Sandwich (Impossible Chicken), fries, tots, chicken tenders, chopped kale, Caesar salad, classic/strawberry lemonades, shakes, soft serve, floats, and cookies. *** Single Cheeseburger (vegan cheese, house spread, lettuce, tomato, house pickles, and grilled onions inside a soft brioche bun - $12): Good bun, good flavor, and perfect portion; however I am not sure about paying $12 plus tax for a burger for In-N-Out size burger. *** It's a very decent plant-based burger and it tastes like a real 100% beef burger, but I do think it's a tad expensive to get it on a regular basis. P.S. - The Max'd Out Fries (secret menu) is very similar to the 'animal-style' fries at In-N-Out.

Ordered a chocolate shake and the taste was off.. really bland, and the texture was stiff & icy. I've had milkshakes at different vegan restaurants and they are always Chocolatey & creamy, proper dupes to their dairy counterparts. This one was not. The taste & texture was similar to the chocolate flavored Icee machines you see at AM/PM. Not what I was expecting for $11 plus tip. There's NO WAY this was made with Oat milk as advertised. Really terrible. Employee was nice though.

Located in the heart of Riverside, Monty's is a hip place to grab a quick burger and fries. You can locate it easily in the Food Lab by its adorable mascot. Many of the other Food Lab options are greasy messes or flavorless cultural tragedies, but Monty's is very much exempt from that list. I ordered the Nashville chicken sandwich with house sauce. At first, it appeared a tad small, but I was stuffed after finishing, so overall I was happy with the portion size. The sandwich was comprised of a beautifully seasoned piece of fried plant chicken and mild sweet pickles between toasted brioche buns. My main complaint about most chicken sandwiches is that they're dripping and the buns are soggy with grease, but the chicken here was well drained or patted. Barely any extra oil, and the chicken was so crispy and tender! Overall, it was just a really clean sandwich that left me feeling full and energized. The house sauce was good, couldn't really figure out what it was, but it was a little sweet and tangy. Next time I think I'd try the honey mustard. The sandwiches and burgers themselves run a little pricey, but considering how other places up charge for vegan substitutions, I was happy to pay the $15. The tots/fries are only $5- a great value-- and would definitely add volume and crunch to the meal. I'd definitely come back to try the Impossible burgers. Vegan places are scarce enough, and Monty's is too good to miss out on.

HAPPT BIRTHDAY MONTY's! We celebrated with birthday soft serve and the new Nashville hot chicken sandwich! Everything was incredible!! As always, Monty's is always packed but the service always remains amazing and attentive Shout out to the food lab Monty's employees for always keeping it top notch! As mentioned, it is located inside the food lab so this place is always nice for a hang out with folks. I enjoy grabbing a shake here after any concert in downtown. Monty's has a special place in my book! Rating 10/10

I read that this is the vegan version of In-N-Out. It is really good for a vegan burger but definitely not hitting In-N-Out status. I do recommend you try it if you're in the area though. Good service. They give you a buzzer to let you know once your order is ready. Waiting for the burger was only about 10 minutes or so.

The restaurant is one of the food stalls in the Riverside Food Lab. You order at the counter and are given a buzzer. The buzzer goes off when your food is ready. They have diner style seating by their restaurant with the Food Lab providing plenty of other seating in the building. I ordered the Monty's meal with the tenders, fries, and a strawberry lemonade. The tenders were absolutely delicious, and I love the large choices of vegan sauces. The fries were as expected and the lemonade was good. My order was ready not too long after I ordered, definitely in the "fast food" time range, but much better quality food. I love that the meal comes in a little carton like my own vegan happy meal. I cannot wait to go back!

I highly recommend this place as their service is top-notch. In addition, their burgers are delicious and the fries are amazing. I have never had a bad experience here and I always leave feeling satisfied and happy. Definitely give it a try if you haven't already!

We went to Monty's while down in Riverside, Ca. We ordered a burger, not realizing that it's a VEGAN place. Got back to the hotel and discovered our mistake. We ate it anyway cause we've had meatless before. That said, it was tasty. Had a real burger the next day. As vegan food goes, this was a good burger. Staff were polite and helpful. If I'm ever in the mood for vegan, I'd go to Monty's again (so basically, I won't go to Monty's again)

An easy 5 stars for Monty's! I've been to the LA locations and the one out here in Riverside is just as good. When I moved out here, I totally ordered delivery more times than I care to admit just because I was so excited to have a Monty's so close by. Their dog pile fries/tots are my absolute favorite. Double patties with cheese and grilled onions on top of tots and fries and all of their sauces. It takes me two days to finish this because I can't eat it all at once. It's too big. Aside from this masterpiece, the fried chick'n and burgers are both solid choices. They have kids meals too! Another highlight is their milkshakes. They're made of oat ice cream (pretty sure oatly brand) and they are so beyond creamy. I've had the Oreo and chamberlain coffee shakes and they were both a decadent experience. I really recommend that you get a shake if you want a dessert. Overall, this is the Monty's we have grown to love, and I'm so glad to have one in my city to be able to eat their food as often as I want!

Came to food lab in Riverside and decided to try Monty's. Had the double cheeseburger and it was tasty and all ingredients were fresh. The patties are pretty big. The tater tots were yummy. You get one sauce to go with your tater tots. They give you lots of taters. The burger was huge and the grilled onion gives it a strong flavor that over powers the burger. They don't have any fountain drinks. It took awhile to get our food but it was fresh. The food lab has plenty of seating but it's really noisy and loud. There are restaurants and bars all around inside so you can get a variety of selections to eat from.

Selective eateries are sometimes hard to decipher. Will it be my new go to? Or will this end up being an overpriced mediocre salad? At Monty's you don't have to worry or have any reservations. The taste is actually really good compared to other places. There's a quality to it that can satisfy the meat eater. The veggies are so fresh and crisp in contrast to the oh so melty cheese. Their sauces are homemade and accompanied with the "burger" takes it to another level of satisfaction. The service here is always friendly. They have that old diner vibe it always reminds me of the back to the future cafe. Fun little spot when you need some veg.

I majorly appreciate a business that makes things right when there is an issue and this place is that kind of business. I also totally recommend this place as a treat for those who eat beef. Phenomenal food! I've brought many clients here for lunch meetings and it food taste and quality never disappoints.

I love their spicy chicken sandwich. They also have great impossible burgers, fries and tots and shakes. The sandwiches are so well made, you can't even tell that they are vegan. I can't wait to go back. They also have many different sauces you can add to your order. Highly recommend. The people are super friendly too.

Well I was so looking forward to what Monty's has to offer. I tried the one in Riverside in the public market. I was excited because I'm vegan and knew they had burgers. I still want burgers and will do an impossible burger every once in a while. It just wasn't good to me. The fries were good. I'm not sure how to describe my issue with the burger. Maybe there wasn't much taste. They didn't season the patty.

Bought this place for some after munchies and treats! It was so cool to find an all vegan place in The Food Lab. I had tots and their very thick chocolate milkshake. Quick service late on a Sunday afternoon. This location makes it easy for everyone in your group to find their favorite thing possibly from one of the other food sites.
