I love Monty's. The hot chicken sandwich is so tasty and they have a great selection of dipping sauces! The shake was too thick to drink through the straw we were given, but it did not slow us down because they also gave us a spoon. 🤩

We had an absolutely amazing experience! Dio, who prepared our food and took care of us, went above and beyond. Even though they were getting ready to close, she never made us feel rushed or like a burden — instead, she made us feel truly welcomed and valued. Her energy, kindness, and professionalism completely elevated our visit. Dio is a total superstar and a huge reason we’ll be coming back. Give her all the credit — she’s incredible!” 🌟

Amazing shake, great burger, and hot fries! Staff was very kind, almost apologetic that their food was plant based, but that's why we went there. Atmosphere was cool, would definitely recommend. 5 out of 5, 10 out of 10, all the stars. 🏆

Monty’s Good Burger in Riverside’s Food Lab is a solid go-to spot whenever I’m in the area. The vibe is casual with counter seats, like a modern-day Johnny Rockets. I grabbed a cheeseburger, 50/50 tots and fries, and a sugar cookie—all were delicious. The burger was juicy and satisfying, though I’ll admit, at $12, it’s a bit on the pricey side for a fast-casual joint. That said, the flavor and quality make it worth it. If you’re craving a tasty, no-fuss meal and happen to be in Riverside, Monty’s hits the spot!

Before you dig deeper everything they sell is vegan! 😊One of our favorite date spots in riverside, we usually come here for the vegan burgers and the tots. The chicken sandwich is also fantastic considering its one of those items you miss when you go vegan. The sauce selections are great and the staff are always so sweet and pleasant to talk to. We used to get the shake too but after a heavy meal putting on that shake can make you feel super full! Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

Love Monty’s! We always go to the one in La and tried this one last weekend since we were in the area ! Unfortunately they over cook the patties here . It doesn’t have the same taste as the la location. Even tried their cone ice cream - not great flavor but we love the matcha latte !

This place was soooooooooo good!!!! I went there today for lunch with my husband. The staff were super sweet too. My husband who doesn’t “get” vegan food couldn’t even resist taking some bites of my food. The shakes are also gorgeous!! Special shoutout to the employee wearing the “Arnold Palmer” Twin Peaks shirt! 😂

Plant based goodness!!! Sooooo good, the tots were addicting and I could have easily gotten my fill just from them alone. The burger was very good too, I love the siracha sauce on it 😋 I didn’t get to try the drinks because the C02 for the pop was down, but it just gives me something to look forward to next time. Even my carnivore friend was impressed! Highly recommended and so glad it was a short walk from my hotel 😊

Ordered a Double Cheeseburger and Maxed Out 50/50 Fries n Tots. Bomb, reminded me of a lost steak house restuarant flavor, grilled onions gave the burger a whole different taste than a usual burger. The 50/50 fries n Tots were really good too. Not over sauced and fresh tasting potatoes. Definitely enjoyed my first taste of Montys. Will return to try a milk shake and Nashville Not Chicken Sandwich.

Though I am by no means vegan or vegetarian, this place I have no problem coming back from time to time for this food. The Burgers are a fantastic substitute for the real thing and the trimmings are always fresh. The tots are one of my favorite items and by far the best you'll get anywhere. The lemonade hits the spot every time. The staff is always a delight to speak to and always down to make a suggestion. I love the food lab but this place needs its own brick and mortar and franchise. Great job.

First off, I had no idea it was fully plant-based when I walked in. I just saw the lineup of colorful burgers, crinkle-cut fries, and the classic red-and-white checkered trays and thought, "Alright, classic burger joint vibes." It wasn't until I was halfway through devouring my food that I realized none of it had meat. And honestly? I didn't miss it one bit. I ordered the single Monty's burger, fully loaded, with their signature sauce and grilled onions, and it hit all the nostalgic fast food notes while still tasting clean. The patty had that satisfying char and juiciness that made me forget I wasn't eating beef. Add to that the pillowy bun and fresh pickles, and you've got a burger that's just ridiculously craveable. The fries? Absolute perfection. Crisp, golden, and tossed in just the right amount of salt. I went all in and got the loaded version--topped with grilled onions, melted plant-based cheese, and that creamy house sauce that I swear could make cardboard taste amazing. I also grabbed one of their dairy-free milkshakes (I chose strawberry), and it straight up tasted like something out of a 1950s diner--thick, sweet, and ice-cold, with zero weird aftertaste. Literally the best food! This is a plant based burger alternative and the food does not disappoint. This location is inside of the foodlab food hall in downtown Riverside. The food was hot, fresh and delicious. There's a handful of sauces to choose from if you get the tenders and I like the option of fries or tater tots. Definitely check them out. Serviced was really good too!

This location is always our first stop or last stop when driving in or leaving LA. We have been coming to Monty's Good Burger for many years. This location is situated in a shared food court type location. It's too bad that Monty's isn't back home. But they make you feel like you're eating traditional fast food. The staff at this location is always on top of their game. They are always helpful if you have any menu questions or suggestions. If you're lucky enough to sit on their counter. It's a throwback to an old school diner. Burgers, hotdogs, chicken tenders, tots, fries or milkshakes. It's all good and worth a try! They have plenty of seating in their shared dining area.

Stopped by Monty's this evening for dinner to go. I had a double "cheeseburger", the 50/50 tater tots/fries and a chocolate shake. All of it was delicious and all of it was vegan! The burger was a big tasty messy juicy mess, just the way I like it. The fries and tots were crispy and hot and the chocolate shake was extra thick and creamy good. Monty's totally nailed it. So satisfying! Counter service is fast and friendly. They hustle to get your order out nice and hot. If you are craving fast food and are in the mood for a classic fast food burger then come here directly. Highly recommend.

I love Monty's! I wish I lived closer to this location. I'd eat it once a week, easily. Some of my favorites are the plant based chick'n and the maxed out tots! Yummy! I also enjoy the kale salad with chick'n. The burgers are really good. It looks like they added an impossible hot dog to the menu. My friend said that was really good. I ordered the chick'n tenders combo that comes with tots and a drink. Oh and a chocolate chip cookie. They won't let you customize the tots or change the cookie. The chick'n tenders were good. I wish they were crunchy and more crispy. The cookie was soft. I enjoyed the sparkling strawberry lemonade. Ambiance is super hipster. Service was great. They also sell t-shirts and jackets. Free stickers are available at the front.

So initially me and my wife had no idea that Monty's was purely plant based... but we decided what the heck let's give it a go. We are now in love with Monty's good burger and we plan on going back often!!!! So the restaurant is in a kind of packing house with a bunch of other restaurants. They have a really fun old school diner vibe with a lot of vibrant lighting and stool seating. The service was amazing!! There was. Team of three there and me and my wife talked to Johnnie and Breezy. They walked us through the menu and their favorite sauces. They were also a very fun energetic bunch and just made the experience of Monty's that much more enjoyable. As for food my wife got a single and I got a double burger, with an order of tater tots and an order of French fries. We found out they had a version of the fries with cheese, grilled onions and sauce soooo we dove in and upgraded. I got their Macha shake and my wife got the Oreo one . She loved hers and I honestly mine was the best and first macha shake I've ever had and it was amazing!!! Over all Monty's is a wonderful healthy alternative, me and my partner loved everything we had and can't wait to go back. There is a lot of heart and love for the food and staff.

Peer to good vegan burgers! This is the only spot I go to when at riverside food lab. Super yummy tater tots and house sauce. Can never go wrong. The service was adequate, nothing to complain about but it always was spectacular. Ambiance has more to do with the riverside food lab than Monty's. But it's horrible to say the least.

It was my first time trying Monty's. The service was great. It is located inside the Food Lab, which is cool because you can grab other beverages or desserts after your meal. I didn't realize this was a plant based hamburger, my bad. I ordered the double cheeseburger burger. It lacked a little bit of flavor, the fries were good. I'm sure anyone who eats plant based meals would probably love this place, unfortunately it was not for me.

My favorite place to get a vegan burger when I'm craving it. only downside is each time I go, it's a bit pricy. Other than that always super friendly staff and it's located in the food lab they have a cute diner table top going on and its sooo cute!

Indulgent vegan fast food in a vibey food establishment. Come here, get the burger and tots (try several sauces). Return for the milkshake for the ride home. It will hold you for hours.

Parking was difficult. I had to park a few blocks from the restaurant because this was my first time there. We ate here on a busy weekend. The tables were all full, and I was impressed with how quickly someone appears to clean the table. We ordered double patties with shakes and fries. There were three of us. It went by so fast because the place was so packed that we could barely hear ourselves speak. I enjoyed the food. Maybe I should come on a weekday when it's not as busy to really enjoy the experience.

Great spot inside of the Food Lab in Riverside. Fast and quick service and a cute counter to sit at to enjoy your meal. The parking garage is free for the first hour and you can add an additional 30 minutes if you get it validated.

Stopped by on Friday for a sweet treat! The staff was nice and I felt welcomed, not crowded at all. I ordered a small strawberry shake. I thought it was good. It didn't blow me away/ I wouldn't go out of my way to get it, but I didn't hate it! For a vegan shake it was great. I tried my friends coffee milkshake and it tasted very watered down with crumbs of coffee. I also tried the matcha milkshake and it was creamy and did taste like matcha. Strawberry was still my favorite though! Haven't tried anything else off the menu so can't attest to those.

At the center of the Riverside Food Lab, Monty's Good Burger seemed like a popular choice as it draws a solid flow of customers. And deservingly so. It was unexpectedly good for a fully plant-based meal. The impossible burger still had that slightly different texture, but unless you really paid attention it's quite spot on. The "cheese" if you can call it that is fantastic on the dog pile 50/50 of fries and tots. This one isn't on the menu. If you're looking for a regular soda, you'll need to go to another vendor as they only serve a few limited specialty drinks here. It's a shared commons area but seating is ample and parking is validated for 1.5hrs.

Pretty good vegan fast food. Just pricey though. I've enjoyed their chicken sandwich as well as their burgers. Tots are delish. I just wish they offered the frozen hot chocolate all year round because that was their best flavor soft serve/shake! But they only have it around January. Sadface. The matcha one is also good but it's too grainy, per the last time I had it. Needed to be mixed more. Their floats are ok and the hotdog is ok too.

First time trying a Monty's Burger and it was GOOD! Their plant based/vegan burgers were one of the better ones I've had! Their flavors were good and the double is pretty massive. Decided to go ahead and get the 50/50 fries and tots and a drink to try it out. It's came out to about $25. A hefty price point but I think worth it for portion size and to me it tasted great. Service was quick got my order in about 10 minutes and the seating was bar style. I got my order to go since there's other seating around the food hall. I'm happy I finally got to have a chance to try Monty's but it won't be the last time I get another burger in the future!

This was my introduction to plant based burgers and it completely changed my perspective, particularly the Impossible burger, which I do seem to prefer over the Beyond. The Mrs. And I visited long before we had the Little One. So it was just us two. Food: - Double burger: juicy, flavorful, and savory, with a texture that could easily rival any traditional burger. - Vanilla milkshake: Rich, creamy. Hard to believe it's non-dairy and even plant based. - Shoestring fries: solid, though not particularly standout. But hey, fries are almost always inherently vegan anyway, so I wasn't expecting anything groundbreaking. Before Monty's, I wasn't into plant-based burgers, but this spot won me over. It's one of the many excellent options in the Riverside Food Lab, which, along with Monty's, is something I truly miss about living in Riverside.

First degree veggie murder! Food so good you'll slap ya mama! The staff is having fun and got the vibes. It's in the food court so there is a great atmosphere all different kinds of cultures. This is my first visit and I'll be back not vegan but it's bussin.

located inside the Riverside Food Lab cute diner looking booths to dine in, the service was nice. They were patient as I was looking at the menu. Vegetarian friendly menu including burgers, chicken tenders, chicken sandwich. They also offer ice cream and milkshakes. I got the Nashville Chick'n Sandwich with a side of habanero sauce. The sandwich was the size of my hand. The Chick'n itself was well seasoned, not dry. The habanero sauce was very mild, reminded me of mustard.

Quick,easy and yummy! I love this place! It's located in the food lab downtown Riverside. The parking structure has always been easy to access and feels safe. Very easy to park and walk right down to the food lab, every-time I've parked there has been an attendant at the structure. Lots of options in this area and Monty's is always my go to. All vegan everything which is great, spicy chicken sandwich's and tots are my favorite. Service is easy walk up and order the food lab it's self is loud and busy I've sat inside and outside but perfer outside it's not as noisy.

So happy to find an all vegan restaurant inside of a food court. The second I saw Monty's I was like nope not looking at other menus: I want Monty's! I got the dog pile with super easy sauce (secret menu) and Charlie's Chicken Sandwich. The dog pile has choice of French fries or tator tots topped with two impossible patties, caramelized onion, cheese, and all their sauces. I got half tator tots and half fries. So delicious! Will definitely be back for more goodness! There's counter seating around Monty's. The food court has restrooms in the back, tall seating and some regular seating. I don't like the seating situation because it's not safe for folks who can't get on the tall chairs and they need more ADA compliant tables. Staff at Monty's are nice.

MONTY'S GOOOOODDDD BURGGGEEERRRR...WOHOOOO!!! I have been waiting years to visit this establishment and as it turned out it was our first food stop on our trip before hitting the PCH. My wife has been to the location in Culver City but this one, located inside the Riverside Food Lab, was the first experience for me. I had the Impossible Hot Dog which I have been looking for EVERYWHERE, along with the 50/50 fries and tots and a sparkling strawberry lemonade. It was one of the best fast food meals I have ever had. The ambiance was FIRE and the service was impeccable. I won't be eating any other hot dogs until the impossible hot dogs come to Phoenix AZ. RUN...don't walk to Monty's if you want WORLD CLASS VEGAN FAST FOOD. Eat, Drink, and Be Merry, my Friends!!

My boys say it tastes like a real burger. I really just love that we don't have to worry about any meat or dairy products and we still get a decent flavor. We got past the initial concern of whether or not it tastes good & now I have to try the Maxx fries & dog pile which are basically spins of animal-style fries. We're a burger family trying to do better and Monty's checks the boxes when we crave the standard American diet. Kind of pricey but what isn't these days. Try it :)

Super cool shared food hall with multiple vendors and open seating. Stopped in for a treat, Oreo shake, cookie and tater tots. Shake was delicious, cookie was honestly a little dry but I salvaged it by putting the cookie IN the shake. Day was saved. Casual walk up counter, quick service via pager.

I really want to like this place. Maybe other locations are better? Have eaten here a few times and the chicken fingers are always really greasy, like the oil isn't hot enough. Kudos to having a meatless burger place in the food lab though, appreciate the effort.

Good burgers, great marketing! On our way to Stagecoach, we stopped by Food Labs to grab dinner and I decided to try Monty's after noticing they were a vendor slated to be at Stagecoach as well. Monty's has set the bar for me for great tasting vegan food. The entire crew was vibrant, friendly, and guided me through my first visit. I opted for the spicy chicken sandwich and WOW was I blown away! The patty had amazing flavor, texture, and taste. The brioche buns were done to perfection, and the sauces paired very well with the sandwich. I have been exploring other vegan options, but nothing has topped Monty's for me. On our trip back from Stagecoach, we stopped by Food Labs again and I was able to try the "cheeseburger" option, but I did not find it as enjoyable as the chicken sandwich. Get your vegan fix here, you won't regret it!

I majorly appreciate a business that makes things right when there is an issue and this place is that kind of business. I also totally recommend this place as a treat for those who eat beef. Phenomenal food! I've brought many clients here for lunch meetings and it food taste and quality never disappoints.

The food is always consistent across the locations! This one was inside a marketplace but efficient as they had mobile order, vegan everything including toppings for their soft serve ( which I have never seen across the different locations) was great, and plentiful options for everyone! The ambiance was great as the table top seatings were secluded and not in the way of the crowds. Everything was hygienic and very aesthetic! The stickers were a bonus and the merch was super cute and L.A related. Did I mention every thing was vegan? :)

Hi guys today came by Riverside's Food Lab to try out a few places. Monty's our first stop. Always wanted to try them out. Although I am a little bias because I am naturally a carnivore I came with an open mind. I ordered the Double Burger my wife had the Kale Ceasar Salad which was fresh and light nice sized portion you can actually share it! and we shared the Maxxed out Fries I had an iced tea and my wife had the crafted root beer. The burger for me unfortunately the texture was mushy and had off putting smell that I couldn't put my finger on. The maxxed out fries were really good though I would compare them to In n Out fries. The atmosphere was really cool has a social atmosphere! Staff was very kind and friendly very inviting service, thank you! I really came here wanting to experience and embrace the vegan side of life. Not bad experience but an eye opener next time I'll try their vegan chicken burger.

Hate from Australia. Okay. Idk why but this place pops up as number one when you search "charbroiled burgers" in the area. Did not know it was full plant based/ vegan based off of the pictures. Ordered the burger special, chicken tenders for the kids, and a sundae Sundae tasted like more ice than cream (Asian buffet ice cream) 0/10 Burger smelled like baby s**t 0/10 Chicken tenders tasted exactly like grocery brand chicken patties 0/10 The Arnold Palmer was surprisingly good. 8/10 Place needs to be taken OFF the charbroiled burgers recommendation because THIS PLACE IS 100% VEGAN and the food is disgusting. I'm sorry. 2/10 experience (Arnold Palmer was good)

I absolutely love Montys! I started eating their burgers back when I lived in LA and I was so happy to see them in Riverside when I moved here. Their burgers are so delicious! I love their tater tots' crispiness as well. The Riverside location is inside the Food Lab. If you're looking to stop by quickly, this wouldn't be the ideal location for you as parking is usually tough. You also have to walk inside to order, but it's totally worth it in my opinion! The workers are always professional and get your items out as quickly as they can. They sometimes even like to chat if you're sitting at their counters so that's nice. I did notice, however, that recently their space has gotten dusty and a little dirty. It makes sense that with time they're accumulating dirt, dust, etc. As a customer, though, I was a little disappointed to see for example a dusty fan being used in the area where the food is handled. Hope they get to cleaning it soon! Other than that, enjoy your burgers!

I'm here for the Hot Chicken Sandwich omg! The chicken sandwich is a solid 5/5. Not too spicy, just enough to add the flavors. I was also impressed with their soft serve ice cream. I've been on a mission find the best vegan soft serve and this one is up there!! For $5 it gives you that soft serve creamy texture. Friendly & quick. Casual dining experience. Wish there were more Monty's nearby.

Monty's Good Burger has GOOD burgers!! What's better than a good burger, tots, and an oreo shake?? A vegan burger, tots, and vegan shake!! Definitely satisfied my craving for a some junk food. We tried the single cheeseburger, crispy chicken sandwich, tater tots, and an oreo milkshake. The chicken sandwich and tots were definitely the highlight of our meal especially with the honey mustard sauce. The chicken sandwich had a generous amount of pickles and the tots were extra crispy! The shake tasted very oat-y because of the soft serve base and could have used more oreo bits. The last time we've been here was 2021 and the prices have gone up a bit but that's expected ig. Really good vegan burgers, promise you won't tell the difference. Only three employees working when I arrived so they were a bit slow on getting orders out. (Saturday around 3-4pm) Love that it's inside a food hall with many other options incase someone wants something different. Lots of seating indoor and outdoor, parking was a breeze. Some of the restaurants have TVs so you can watch any sports game while you enjoy your food. Spent $50 for two people, thought it was on the pricey side but the food was good so no complaints.

I love the rules because dogs eat free and I love the food is great and the serve is really good.

Monty's has tasty vegan chicken tenders and ranch dressing. Located at food lab. Garage parking, free parking with time limits. Food wait time 5-15 mins. Gets busy during to other restaurants in locations. Environment is great however there's limited seating arrangements. Extroverts dream

First time trying Monty's Good Burger. The burgers themselves were filling, savory, and fair sized. The milkshake was really but nothing too special and the fries were somewhat lackluster. The service was good and the ambiance was really friendly/unique. My partner and I were really entertained by the word search and coloring supplies on the tables! Haha! It feels like a fun late night environment and I would definitely stop by again!

Maybe things would be different in person. First time trying this place and had to have my food delivered. Unfortunately the food had to seasoning. Order cheeseburger and 50/50 tots and fries. Both the burger and fries had no seasoning and none came on the side to add to either. Also asked for ketchup and got 1 packet. LOL. Not one to knock a place for a delivery and so I will be trying this place again in person because I was referred here for great food.

We had such a positive experience trying Monty's Good Burger! This location is nestled in the middle of the Riverside Food Lab, a popular space that houses several different eateries. The ambience is quite lively and crowded, so take that into consideration if that's not the type of vibe you want. The staff here are super friendly and were patient to answer our questions. The stand has a handful of stools to sit on if you're dining in and we managed to snag of couple of them as we waited for our food. When we got our order, we were relieved that we decided to share a cheeseburger and dog pile. The portions were huge! My husband does not typically seek out vegan or plant-based food but he really liked his experience. He later on said he couldn't tell that the food was vegan! If we're ever in the area again I'll definitely come back to try the rest of their options!

I can't believe that everything here is vegan! I've been here multiple times and my go-to order is the Dog Pile Tater Tots. They are delicious! I love how crispy the tater tots are. My only complaint about them is that there is an overwhelming amount of caramelized onions in this dish, and it becomes too salty. The burgers here are great, but a little expensive. I wouldn't recommend the chicken sandwiches, but I've enjoyed everything else I've tried! Depending on the day, it can be a little hard to find seating. If there are no more tables outside, there are also more tables on the upper level!

The burger was not as good as I thought it was going to be. It's a fully plant based burger and just didn't taste as good as I thought it was going to be after seeing the pictures. I would definitely go back to try the chicken but the burger just didn't sit right with me or my stomach.
