Went on date night here Saturday and it was AMAZING. We got the Moo Burger and added avocado and vegan bacon. I hadn't tried a vegan hamburger yet and I was in SHOCK how it tasted like an actual hamburger. The outside seating is super cute too. Will definitely be coming back and recommending to all my friends and family!

This meat lover is now craving plant- based burgers!!! I have to admit I was skeptical at first. I’d never had a plant-based burger and as a massive lover of meat and cheese, I couldn’t imagine they could compare to the real deal. I was on a trip to Portland from NYC with a friend who was vegan and insisted we stop by Moo in Vancouver. The outdoor area was super cute with wooden benches along the street outside. The beer and kombucha menu was possibly the best I’ve seen, with a curated selection of local and regional beers for every palette. The menu had a few really nice sounding burger options so it was hard to decide, but I went with the “Hot Mess” which had roasted jalapeño and a pineapple habanero vegan aioli. This burger was FIREEE!!!! And not just from the heat of the peppers which packed a punch, but we’re were not too overpowering and perfectly balanced with the sweetness of the pineapple. The bun had a buttery flavor and was toasted on the outside and soft on the inside. The burger patty had crispy edges and a meaty flavor while the “cheese” was gooey and melty, which made me not miss their non-vegan counterparts. I was honestly blown away by how much I I loved this burger and am still craving it weeks later! I will definitely be going again on my next trip to the Portland area and try some of the other selections. My only complaint is that they haven’t opened a location in Brooklyn.

Great new spot for weekend vegan burgers and fries. I had the mushroom burger and it was delicious. My husband had the Hot Mess, only critique was he wished there was more of the spicy sauce. Next time we will get a side. The fries were crispy and well seasoned. We got a side of each sauce to try (cause we love sauce!)and the garlic aioli was the winner for us. My 1 1/2 year old ate most of it while contentedly sitting in her highchair. This never happens so you know it is good. We had a beer while we waited in the outdoor seating area and really enjoyed ourselves. Service was quick and friendly. Oh, and the side salad was awesome, especially for only $2. Definitely will be back to try the other options.

I love burgers. I've had hundreds, if not over a thousand burgers in my life. Portland Burger Week would see me take down 10 or more in 5-6 days. But every single one I've ever eaten has come at a price: sluggishness, and stomach issues varying from mild discomfort to "I can't hang out tonight." Sadly, it was beginning to not be worth it for me. I recently decided to gear towards veganism and burgers were still the #1 thing I was most bummed about giving up. Not long into this diet practice, Moo Burgers and Beers opened and I could not be more stoked!! I've had each burger at least twice now (did I mention I'm stoked to have a vegan burger joint open up nearby?) and it's hard to pick a favorite. If forced to chose I might say The Q. But I also LOVE the Moo burger with cheddar and bacon. The Hot Mess is perfectly spicy, creamy and sweet. The Fun Guy is hands down my favorite mushroom burger out there. I have always had issues with eggs and dairy, so it delights me to no end to be able to eat a burger with aioli and provolone style cheese and not feel the effects for days after! Along with working toward a mostly whole food, plant based diet at home, I can excitedly say that I have eaten burgers here every weekend since it opened. And as long as I'm in town, I will likely keep doing so! Also of major note: perfect local Grand Central Buns. Moo is thoughtful in crafting their burgers, preparing their food, and choosing local beers, ciders and kombucha to pair with it all! Cheers, and THANK YOU Moo!! (Moo Burgers and Beers is the sister company of, and shares its space with the incomparable Mighty Bowl. Check out their website for hours of operation!)

I came to Moo on a date night with my Fiancée not knowing what to expect because I am not a true vegan. I got the Moo burger and was blown away. Really thought I was eating meat! The white peach kombucha was amazing as well. Will definitely return!

This place had the best impossible burgers! They closed over a year ago, said they’d be back in the spring of 2021 and haven’t heard anything since. I hope they open again someday, I especially loved how each day they picked a nana and if it was your name you got a free burger!

Can't wait for them to open back up again. They were pretty good, I loved the ability to pair beer with the burgers, and it was very convenient to have a full vegan restaurant in Vancouver.

The "fun guy" is a very good burger. Highly recommend this place. You wouldn't know it's vegan food if it wasn't written on the menu. So good!!!
