Very Tasty Ice Cream with a Beautiful View I travel a lot, and I always look for local ice cream in every place I visit. This ice cream was one of the best I have ever tried. It was very tasty and creamy, just perfect! The ice cream store is near the waterfront. After buying our ice cream, we sat and enjoyed the beautiful view of the water and the mountains. It was a great experience. I definitely recommend everyone to visit this store and try the ice cream. Trust me, you will love it!

Quick and friendly service with a great daily selection of flavors. The half scoop option is perfect for anyone looking for a smaller sweet treat after dinner. The raspberry sorbet is spectacular and eating it on a bench while looking out at the water across the street is even better.

Really amazing Ice Cream! Its at the end of main Street in Cold Spring. Walk to the end of the block and you'll see a tunnel to walk underneath the train station and it will take you to the other side of Main Street by the water. It's on the right side of Main Street and West. Can't wait to go back.

Cute place on the water. The coffee flavor was very light. Tasted more vanilla. We got 2 half scoops and 1 one scoop and it was $15. Not great but not expensive. They do have customer bathrooms so that's a bonus!

Got the pint and mixed in butter pecan with Oreo. The shop has original flavors and it's quite decent. Can't really go wrong with ice cream! One thing though was that the Oreo was a bit icy. The pint is larger than the three scoops, so I'd recommend the pint if you want to share !

This was of the places I wanted to try when I visited cold spring today 5/10/24. Friendly staff good amount of choices of flavors and toppings. Right by the pier so as soon as u take your order and walk out you can sit and enjoy your ice cream and the gorgeous views. Prices are reasonable aswell, so if you're planning to visit this cool little town definitely stop here.

Stopped by Moo Moo's, again, and enjoyed every moment. Not only is their ice cream good, but they are perfectly situated. After you purchase your delicious item, you could walk a few yards to the edge of the Hudson River and enjoy spectacular views of West Point Military Academy, across the river. Nice cute place, very small and tend to be really busy, expect long line. I got the lemon sorbet which was good, prices are decent. No place to sit, you basically order and go out and enjoy your icecream and the view.

I visited this spot on my weekend trip to Cold Spring and concluded my day with a stop here. It's a local, family-owned shop with some of the best ice cream I've ever had in New York. You can grab a scoop and sit by the water, enjoying the stunning scenery of the mountains in front of you, with birds flocking nearby. The ambience is made even better by the young employees, who bring a lively and welcoming energy to the place. The ice cream itself is insanely creamy, and you can taste the top-notch, real ingredients in every bite--like something straight off a farm or from a charming European town. My favorites so far are the cherry vanilla and cookie butter-- the mint chip was my friends favorite! I'm already looking forward to going back and trying more flavors :) 10/10

Something in my tummy asked for ice cream. Something in my brain said Moo Moo. This luscious homemade treat can be found on the riverfront of Cold Spring. Not so easy to get to, make your way off the highway, over the railroad, and down to Moo Moo for delicious dessert! The staff is there to have a good time and the ice cream is gourmet. I was interested in Walnutella but was won over by MAPLE BAXON Automatic 5 stars there. Offset nicely by some blueberry but that flavor of the day/week/life wins. Brings the house down. So bring your family to Moo Moo!

Another nice ice cream shop in Garrison. Always have long lines. You can walk the streets in town, window shop, eat, drink, but when it's time for dessert, head out to Moo Moos. Sit on the grass or bench, admire the Hudson River view and eat your ice cream. You won't be disappointed. Make it the final stop before you head home.

Was excited to try this ice cream since I've heard such great things. It was very yummy! I got one scoop of the vanilla cinnamon. It was very good and around $6 for a big single scoop. Nice worker. The waterfront is right outside the building so you can sit with a great view and enjoy.

Could be best ice cream in NY. Right on the water. Insanely creamy ice cream where you can tell every ingredient is top-notch, the real-deal that you can taste in every bite. What you'd get on a farm or somewhere in Europe, it's that good. The cherry vanilla is incredible, as is the cookie butter. Can't wait to try more. 5 stars!!!

When we came in, there were a lot of people waiting but the service was very quick. There were various flavors and the ice cream is very rich and thick. First time here in Cold Springs and was definitely good.

The wait was approx 15 mins on line, there's bathroom inside to use after our hike. We ordered two scoops caramel chocolate chip & tropical fruit sorbet (this is refreshing but it has a little after taste). Their ice cream is like frozen custard. The place is cute. Would recommend coming here for dessert especially after a long hike.

I went here some time ago as a surprise for my sister's graduation. They had a ton of people there so I knew it had to be good. Upon entering, the restaurant was clean and organized. Many different options of ice cream and so delicious. At the time, I liked ice cream, but after, I LOVE ice cream. I only look forward to returning all the time now. Definitely a 5 star location.

Ice cream is nice and smooth and creamy. Very tasty! Servings were very large. There was also an extremely large selection of different flavors. Sitting on the front porch looking out over the Hudson River was also quite an experience.

Cute ice cream shop stop on a trip to this idyllic town! My family and I grabbed some cones and proceeded to hang at the riverside for a picnics Moo Moo's has a variety of flavors that are all creamy and not overly sweet. Lots of good toppings too. The pricing is pretty affordable at around $7 a scoop. The girls at the shop were friendly and let us taste some of the flavors. Overall, I recommend a stop at moo moo's if you're in town!

We ordered two scoops in corn each. Blueberry, Vanilla Cinnamon, Dulce de Leche, and Walnut ice cream. The total cost was $18.17 with a 15% tip. There were 5 staff taking orders and busy working and friendly. I sampled "Maple Bacon". It contains actual pieces of bacon... hmmmm. I didn't order that. The way they put the ice cream all the way down to the bottom of the corn was great, and the volume was adequate. Although the ice cream was creamy and tasty, it was nothing special, missing like striking rich flavor, to write about compared to other good ice cream stands. All flavors were just okay for us. There are 4-5 chairs on their porch. You can sit there and view the hudson river. Or walk up to the river side and enjoy both the view and your ice cream.

Great service and delicious icecream from a cute cow themed small shop. We went twice during our brief visit to cold spring. I had a scoop of mint chip and cherry vanilla. The mint chip flavor had a good amount of chocolate chip chunks distributed throughout. The cherry vanilla flavor had half pieces of cherries studded throughout. My friend had a scoop of cookie dough and black raspberry. The portion size was generous. We will definitely go back next time we stay in the area.

Delicious creamy ice cream. The s'mores was so on point in flavor that it really felt like I was eating actual s'mores. And the chocolate was out of this world rich. Incredible ice cream from this joint just off the main drag in Cold Spring. A must do!

We stopped at Moo Moo's Creamery with my son after reading all the reviews on Yelp. The ice cream flavors/choices were extensive. We ended up ordering the hazelnut, butter pecan and caramel chocolate chip. It was a great way to finish a hike at the foundry preserve.

This place is by the water so it's quite beautiful and there's a lot of benches nearby to sit with your ice cream. The line was out the door late Saturday afternoon. It took maybe 15 mins for us to get inside and order. They do allow samples but the counter is quite chaotic since they have different employees handling different people in line. Honey cinnamon walnut (~$6) - solid scoop for $6. It was more than enough and had a light cinnamon flavor that wasn't too overpowering. There were small chunks of walnut that were a nice touch and added a bit of crunch.

Came to Moo Moo's and tried a scoop of their pumpkin ice cream. Pretty good ice cream, very thick texture, almost like a frozen custard. Big scoop - 1 was plenty after dinner. Flavor list was mostly conventional with a few surprises but nothing really out there or original. Pumpkin flavor was nice but could have been a bit more pungent maybe with some pumpkin spice. Would try on future visits to Cold Spring but possibly go for a different flavor. Good location right near the water.

Cute ice cream shop down on the waterfront in Cold Spring. Great service. I tried a scoop of the caramel chocolate chip ice cream. I will definitely be back again. Treat yourself when you are in this beautiful town and your out shopping and walking.

Everyone thinks their ice cream shop is the best, but this one really is!! The homemade ice cream is so delicious! I've never had any better. I recommend the Strawberry with Oreos mixed. I'm not usually a fan of strawberry ice cream, but whatever they do to it is divine. The service is superb in dealing with the crowds on a hot summer day. The ambiance is impeccable. I mean - you really can't beat enjoying your ice cream anywhere more than Cold Spring on the Hudson. You can grab a bench or a picnic blanket and watch the boats go by as the breeze sweeps you off into a heavenly daydream.

Ice cream were good. Service was quick. The place were small and crowded when we were there on a Sunday afternoon but that's not a big deal. You can just go to the park across it and enjoy your ice cream there. Definitely worth stopping by if you are nearby.

Walked in on a hot muggy Saturday afternoon excited to get something to cool me off. They didn't have a ton of unique flavors, pretty much the usual. One that stood out to me was fig. I don't really care for figs themselves but had never seen fig ice cream before so I decided to try it out. I'm not too sure how to describe it but it was really good. The service was great, the people were patient and the fig flavored ice cream was delicious. Highly recommend it

Nothing to brag about. Sorry but would be happier with my Breyers from the grocery store. It's right by the boat when you pull into Cold Spring so it's always hopping

Delicious fresh ice cream with a variety of flavors, scenic views and good customer service. Nice area to walk, take pics and dine in. We had cake batter, chocolate brownie, Oreo and strawberry flavors. All were outstanding!

Big scoops of thick ice cream, just the way I like it. Loved moo moo's ice cream. Got the black raspberry and fig. Absolutely worth it. There were negligible amounts of ice crystals but melted away with the thick cream. Nice location to get ice cream and sit by the benches outside overlooking the Hudson or even take a stroll enjoying the ice cream.

When traveling one of my favorite things to try is local ice cream spots with unique flavors. Luckily Moo Moo's delivered! On a chilly November Sunday afternoon, with a line out the door the employees were working hard and efficiently to serve every customer. While the space is small it feels cozy and inviting and best of all authentic! The flavors change so imo it's best to take a look at the day's offerings and take a chance. I opted for their s'mores while my parents chose a classic strawberry. For ordering one scoop of each, the servings were very generous and best of all so delicious! I would definitely everyone make a stop when in town. Highly recommend and plan to return! As always, you'll find these spots are manned by young students so make sure to tip !

This place is a treasure trove of frozen delights...right on the Hudson. It serves some of the most amazing ice cream I've ever tasted. Whenever we visit the Bear Mountain or Beacon/Newburgh areas, we stop in. It's easily accessible from North or South, just off route 9D. Well worth the visit!

Homemade ice cream, and a bench w views is the best way to finish a day of hikes! Got the caramel chocolate chip w almond fudge, and the boy the caramel chocolate chip w walnutella (vanilla ice cream w walnuts and Nutella). Creamy and delicious. A bunch of benches and grassy spots on the pier across the way to enjoy the views of the Hudson, Storm King and West Point. Lots of traditional flavors too (strawberry, chocolate, etc). 2 scoops was $6.25. COVID safe - no going inside the shop or samples. I'd really love a mint chocolate chip and salted caramel chocolate chip one day please!

This store continued to have a big line for hours on Saturday afternoon. I tried the fig, strawberry and black raspberry which started to melt in the hot humid weather. I sampled some creamsicle and it really was the best. My friends loved the frozen sorbet, walnut chocolate. The nilla nilla flavor was more on the vanilla side. Would have loved to try a milkshake but they weren't offering that day. Seems that those who hiked in the area and locals were both patiently waiting. Very generous servings. Fig had some real pieces in there.

BEST ICE CREAM PLACE AROUND! I'm from Westchester, and going to Cold Spring for Moo Moo's is the highlight of my trip. There are always some great flavors there. When I went, they had a blueberry flavor that took me by surprise. I didn't expect such a great tasting ice cream. They have some cool options, such as a nilla wafer flavor. If you're around the area, it's a must go.

I should have given one star to begin with. This is the blandest ice cream I've ever eaten. If you actually validated my critique instead of saying I was wrong... I wanted to like your ice cream. There were no chunks of heath bar in my serving. None. You're basically telling me I'm lying.

I decided to stop by here yesterday. I got 1 cup with 2 scoops, one scoop was pumpkin and the other scoop was spiced apple. Pumpkin-definitely tasted the pumpkin spice in there. Tasted like a pumpkin pie. The texture of the ice cream was really good. Spiced apple: This was kind of a mixed bag. It had big slices of apple in it. It was not seasoned nearly as much as the pumpkin. But it was still very good. I ended up snacking on it in the park afterwards. Super Yummy

On a really hot day, what's a better way to cool off than ice cream? Moo moo's creamery offers a selection of flavors but my all time favorite flavor is their golden Oreo. The ice cream is so smooth and creamy with soft bits of golden Oreo mixed in. If you're looking for cookies and cream, this is even better! Due to covid, they do not allow you inside so once its your turn to order, you can shout your order through a window. All their ice creams are served in a cup and you can add a cone on top. The best part is that you can find a shady spot near by on a bench and sit by the water to enjoy your sweet treat! I wish they had one closer to me as I cannot wait to come back.

Moo Moo's is tucked away on the other side of Main Street and by the Hudson. There is signage at the base of the porch with the flavors of the day. There are 3 windows operating so the line goes by pretty quickly. I think they prefer to operate in cash. I ordered the chocolate mint and the chocolate oreo. Both were incredibly creamy and rich in flavor--my mouth was melting with joy with every bite. It was great to enjoy the treat with the amazing views right across the venue.

Unfortunately was the most underwhelming experience I have had at an ice cream shop. Got the creamsicle and coconut scoops and both were not great. It all tasted very syrupy and fake. Do not recommend.

A perfect place to hit up after a day of hiking. Moo Moo's offers a great variety of delicious ice cream in a convenient location for train users. In terms of location Moo Moo's is right near the boardwalk of the Hudson river in downtown Cold Springs. It's great to just buy ice cream here and take it to a bench to watch the mountains or near a park to relax on the grass. The boardwalk and Moo Moo's are also 2 small blocks away from the train station so you can relax in this area until your next train comes in. Inside Moo Moo's is a bit small and they don't offer any internal seating. This means that lines can be pretty long and cramped... but it is worth it! The ice cream here is super creamy, reasonably priced and they have load of flavors to choose from. When I was here I chose Fig because I wanted something fruity/sweet. Overall if your looking for ice cream and are taking a day trip to Cold Spring Moo Moo's is a great place to end the day.

As soon as we finished our hike, we immediately went straight to Moo Moo's after hearing rave reviews about their delicious flavors. After staring at the menu for 5 minutes, we decided on a scoop of fudge mint Oreo each. Unfortunately, due to COVID, we could not sample other flavors. I really wanted to try out their other unique flavors such as fig and shortbread cookie. Nonetheless, we received a generous scoop of mint Oreo and enjoyed a nice cool down snack while sitting on one of the benches on the Hudson River. Our one critique is that we couldn't find the fudge in our ice cream. Either way, it was nice and creamy. A well deserved post hike treat!

This spot is the cherry on top after a day of wonderful hiking and gorgeous, rewarding views at Breakneck Ridge. This little ice cream shop is so cute, the ambience transports you to childhood and simpler times. We were extremely hungry after our hike, so we wound up having a very early dinner. This means that by the time we hopped over to Moo Moo's, most people were eating dinner, and so we got to skip the long line that apparently often goes around the corner--SCORE! I had the graham cracker (cup) and it was so luxuriously rich and creamy. Something about the consistency and flavor of the ice cream makes you feel and appreciate that it really is THAT fresh (aka made daily). I wish I lived closer or could pile on dozens on flavors without consequences, that's how delicious it was. Staff is very nice and generously offers both recommendations and samples. Bonus points for the gorgeous waterside views and adorable little town that serve as the backdrop for your ice cream adventure. If you're even somewhat close by, it's worth the pit stop!
