Google
Great Thai food for a great price too. Very friendly staff and usually not too busy. Very vegan and vegetarian friendly and they're great about food substitutions. We got the pad Thai, pad se ew, pineapple fried rice, and spring rolls and they're were amazing. We are the spring rolls before we even got home. Can't wait to return!

Google
Oh my goodness!!! This food is legit Thai and delicious! Quality and quantity for an adorable price. I ordered the pad Thai and pot stickers ( made from scratch) with home made chili oil and it was only $15! Thank you!!!!

Google
The owners are such lovely people and the food is incredibly delicious! I could eat the wontons with plum sauce every single day of my life. Great prices, great menu variety, and excellent service. My fave Thai food in town hands down.

Google
This place was really good, lots of things on the menu to keep coming back for. I really liked the hot wings, and the red curry tasted delicious! The only reason I give 4/5 stars is because I ordered beef with my curries and got all chicken. But it was still good!

William Rogers

Google
Pretty good flavor and very hot! I do wish there was a lot more veggies and chicken. It was pretty much white rice with protein and veggies as a garnish. I'll try something different next time.

Google
Dear God, this is the best food I've had in my 2+ years living in Eugene. My boyfriend and I got the tofu pad Thai, veggie spring rolls, and Tom kha soup and they were all perfection. Pro tip: get ALL the sauces, even the peanut sauce which is an upcharge. Just do it.

Google
Update 4/1/2025 hands down the best pad thai I've ever had. I caravr this dish from Moo Ping. Do not sleep on this food truck. Ordered the pad thai combo plate with veggies egg rolls. Absolutely delicious on spot on with flavor. The chile sauce for the egg rolls was on point. The pad thai had that sweet and sour flavor I expected. There's a reason why this food trailer is rated #1. Don't hesitate eating here ypu won't be disappointed.

Mike Fife

Google
The wontons were on point. Crispy fried, not oily, with a delicious meat filling. Pad kee mao was really good. Not too salty or sweet. Wide rice noodles were a little bit overcooked but that's my only food criticism. Reasonable portions. Ambiance could be better - maybe somewhere with a little communal area like some of the food truck pods.

Yelp
Best Pad Thai in town, seriously. Moo Ping's Pad Thai is absolutely perfect, from the spring of the noodles to the flavor of the sauce. There are several really good Thai food trucks in town with their signature dishes, but Moo Ping really has the Pad Thai game won, in my opinion. (Also, it's the go to hangover remedy, or so I heard from a friend.) Their other dishes are always delicious, too. I like really the eggplant stir fry and their Moo Ping. I like my food spicy spicy and a 4/5 is enough for me, here. I don't think I could handle their 5/5. The owners and employees are always friendly and smiling, and they also take part in making the community a better place by supporting community organizations. They're located in a parking lot sort of across from Wetlands. You could sit out there at their picnic table if you want, but the traffic noise isn't the most relaxing. It's a great location for us West Eugenians to get our Thai fix, though! I for one would be devastated if they ever moved. Thank you Moo Ping for always being consistently delicious!

Yelp
Definitely hands down the best pad thai I've ever eaten. I literally crave this dish. Such a amazing a great flavor the chef throws down. I wish I lived closer.

Yelp
Their name is called Moo Ping for a reason (they have the best Moo Ping). This is the most authentic food you can get in town, and the staff are amazing. Food carts can be the best place to find food and Moo Ping is definitely one of the examples. They have a couple tables outside, but this is definitely a tasty comfort food you're going to want to take home and eat around the table with your family.

Yelp
This is easily the absolute best Thai food in Eugene. There's nothing here that doesn't deserve a second or a third try. Whatever you pick is going to be your favorite but you should really try everything. Sadly it's so amazing that you'll probably bump into people who you hate because everyone should go here. People you hate should maybe only go on wednesdays so they're easier to avoid though. Don't be one of those people who thinks a food truck can't be an amazing dining experience. This place is going to knock your socks clean the heck off so maybe pack an extra pair. Don't say I did t warn you.

Yelp
Definitely come here on a Sunday for salad rolls Sunday! These are made fresh and taste delicious, with a sweet peanut sauce for dipping. Extremely friendly and fast service. I really like that they offer tempeh in addition to tofu as a vegetarian protein. The tempeh is fried and well-seasoned. Definitely worth ordering that if you're a veg-head. The reason for the 3 stars: the noodle dishes I tried were both overcooked to the point of noodles falling apart, and both bland in terms of seasoning. One was pad thai, the other pad kee mao. When I put salt and way more lime on these (with limes from home), they tasted better. But I don't think I should have to doctor a dish too much at home to make it tasty, and the mushy noodles made me not want to order these again. I will definitely be back for salad rolls!

Yelp
Omg the moo ping with sticky rice is delicious! I'm Thai and have never tasted a moo ping with a tasty garlic sauce to dip your rice in. My hubby had the larb with pork and said it's the best in town. Aroy mak mak na ka!
google avatar

Corinne B.

Yelp
The pad Thai at this food truck is very delicious, as well as the Thai iced tea. This was an online order, so I can't say as much about the service or the ambience. This food truck is a stone's throw away from where I live.

Yelp
I've been to moo ping several times since my original review- this place is CONSISTENT! And consistently good. I haven't had a bad thing yet- their sauces are - the best dipping sauces I've ever had anywhere. Everything is cooked perfectly every time and has such amazing flavor. The couple who run it are amazing- always friendly and pleasant. They have been happy to make some substitutions for me because I'm a weird eater, and I appreciate that a ton. We ordered tonight, and after we ordered my dad decided he wanted to try the moo ping because he wasn't sure the spicy udon noodles he got would be enough protein. I am so glad he decided he wanted it, but sad I never tried it before. The flavor is incredible- seriously, so so so good. If you haven't tried this truck yet- do it!

Yelp
Love this place their food is very good! I've ordered twice & will keep coming back. Probably one of the best Thai food places.
google avatar

Madeline P.

Yelp
Great service and pretty great Thai food. I've only been here twice, but they're extremely friendly and quick. I ordered the fried tofu and Thai chicken basil, all very good.
google avatar

Kristina S.

Yelp
A coworker of my fiance recommended we try this place. I had the red curry, he had some shrimp thingy I dont recall but we both thoroughly enjoyed the food. The service was fantastic - fast, and friendly. I have been craving a good curry for a minute and this place hit the spot! Top notch yummy goodness
google avatar

Judith M.

Yelp
Dang- that's Some good Thai food! We got some if the best pad Thai I've ever had; like Goldilocks in Bangkok said, "not too sweet, not too fishy- juuuust right." Likewise, the Thai Iced Tea, aka, crack with a whack, is perfection with a keg of caffeine. Also amazing- the Woon Sen w tofu (glass noodles, egg, tomato, onions) was a light and tasty special that I'd get again. My least fave was still good- the trusty standby Pad See Ew with tempeh for a nice twist. Even though I didn't love it- I liked it and ate quite a of it. Not hot enough for you? Add the side sauce- that'll fix you, endorphin junky. We didn't even get to try the Curry- but next time is coming.

Yelp
We ordered delivery from here recently on a night when our go-to Thai restaurant was closed. It did not eclipse our favorite spot, but we might try it again. Good options overall and prices seem on the lower end compared to other local spots, even with the delivery mark up. Since I can't comment anything on location, I'll break down our order- ** Pad thai chicken: Just mediocre, however, was a HUGE portion that ended up being 3 meals for my husband! So value for size definitely there. ** Tom kha ga: Delicious!! Some of the best Tom Kha I've had in town. The soup also came with a side of rice which is nice and not always typical depending on restaurant. ** Wontons: we actually had ordered spring rolls but received wontons instead. Even though we had wanted something different these were still tasty and you get a lot in one order (though they are a little smaller than your average wonton). ** Moo ping: Of course had to try the namesake item! I liked it, but didn't love it and wouldn't order again. The flavor of the meat was intense and almost like it had liquid smoke added to it or something like that, though I doubt that's the case. The pork was remarkably soft, and jury is still out on whether I liked that texture or not.

Yelp
I am updating my review. I really like this food cart. They have some hits, and misses for me, but that isn't to say that the misses I don't like are bad. I just enjoy different flavors than other people. I notice some times when people like certain places I do not. So I will let you know my personal opinion. There red curry is at the top of the list to get. I can tell you it is sweeter than some places in town, but I am okay with that. Some people don't dig it. I do. The phad Thai is another great dish, and the peanut sauce they make is delicious to add to it. I am a huge fan of kee mo, or what you would call drunken noodles. They are good here, but I have also had them be a miss here. I hate that it's not consistent. The red curry has been consistent. I have not ordered the phad Thai enough to say if that is consistent. I ordered the red curry by the number once on the board, and the woman I think misunderstood me, so I got home and ended up with cashew rice I think. It was just a refried rice with cashews. It ended up being pretty good thankfully. I looked online to see if I said the correct number. I did, she made the number below it I think. I have also had the chicken wings which were okay. They didn't blow my socks off. I wasn't into the sauce. The fried springs rolls are decent. Just an average spring roll, and good sweet and sour sauce for dipping. I try to stop in, but there have been times I have used Grubhub. Especially when craving that red curry. Sorry I don't have pics of more food.
google avatar

S G.

Yelp
The food here is okay- flavors didn't wow me; the red curry was strangely too sweet and the cashew gai was fairly ordinary. The Tom kha Gai soup was my favorite of all that we tried. Friendly folks inside though- always appreciate service with a smile.

Yelp
This place does not disappoint. The price is good ($10.50 for entrees) and everything we've had has been so good. They have a range of proteins available. Shrimp is an up-charge but they give a good portion, so I don't mind. We usually get the noodles and the fried rice. They have hot sauce available on the side and it is hot! This place will remain in our takeout rotation!
google avatar

Juju W.

Yelp
Was looking forward to some Thai Noodles but noodles were all broken apart ( a sign they were not fresh). Taste was really nothing to rave about but ok I guess. I think food was pricey for a food truck. Friendly service but I would've been embarassed to serve broken mushy noodles.

Takarah R.

Yelp
My fave little Thai food truck to go to. I just ask for a bunch of veggies with beef and chicken and it never fails.
google avatar

Lauren H.

Yelp
Ordered over DoorDash. Good portion sizes. Really good chicken pad Thai! Would definitely go again.
google avatar

Erin E.

Yelp
Was looking for another option towards the west side of town for Thai food that is open on Sunday and happily stumbled upon this cart. The prices and portions are great although the most recent time we went our dishes with rice were a bit too heavy on the rice and a bit lacking on the stir fry. The employees were friendly and helpful when ordering and picking up! Thankful to have found another option for our Sunday afternoon Thai food cravings!
google avatar

M M.

Yelp
Very respectful people, which translates into phenomenal food served with love. I have just gotten out of the hospital and was craving pad. Thai. The portions are enormous I will most likely be eating on that for three days. The chickens Thai appetizers were amazing. Only wish I would've had that for an entrée, my partner was able to pick it up and deliver it to me. The food was hot fresh delicious the noodles for a little thin for my liking. I like my pod Thai to be a noticeable noodle not like a spaghetti, but overall I get this place at 10.

Yelp
The usual stuff. Pretty good. Reasonably priced. Friendly service. Need any more than that?
google avatar

Misty M.

Yelp
Service was great. Very friendly. Quick to get your food. Food was great, this was my first time and I wasn't disappointed. I will be returning! Food portions were large, I had plenty of leftovers, both the main dish and appetizer. I ordered pineapple fried rice. Really great flavor, very large portion, easily could've fed two people. I also tried the fried wontons, again great flavor. Highly recommend the homemade chili oil, very spicy but delicious.
google avatar

Scott E.

Yelp
I absolutely loved the pork pot stickers. Flavor was excellent and they were very crispy. The sauce it comes with is well balanced. The chicken pad Thai was also very good along with the Moo Ping. I will definitely come back for more. Heads up the chili oils is awesome but crazy spicy. The Moo Ping comes with sticky rice and it was the only thing I want a fan of. Maybe it's supposed to be this way but it was really sticky and mushy.

Yelp
Food was real good , but the half full curry was a little disappointing. I did ask for veggies in place of rice , so maybe that's why, but I was still disappointed to see such little soup regardless.

Yelp
THE BEST THAI FOOD IN EUGENE!!! Fairly priced, authentic Thai food with lots of flavor, no matter the dish!! The food is always perfectly prepared!!
google avatar

Janet B.

Yelp
Best little Thai food spot! Good prices and they give sooo much food for their prices! Delicious and authentic! Must try if you are in Eugene!
google avatar

Stephanie R.

Yelp
We got pork pad Thai and red curry with chicken, and both were delicious! I really appreciate the price point as well; too many times I've paid up to $15 other places for mediocre pad Thai. This one hit all the right spots! The prices are very reasonable. The owners are super friendly and helpful as well. We will definitely be back!
google avatar

Kristi R.

Yelp
Really good. Thank you for providing my family with a fresh high quality lunch. Potstickers, pineapple rice, and the special were packed full of flavorful. Cheers and thanks again! Godspeed
google avatar

Yelp
The service is always prompt and they answer their phone so you can order to go to be ready when you arrive which means a lot when you have a short lunch. The soup and pad Thai are very good.

Romey F.

Yelp
Hi. Hello. Please eat here. By far the best Thai food I've had in a very long time. Everything was so flavorful. I got the Pad Thai, my husband got the Pad See Ew, and we split the Moo Ping. First off, the Moo Ping was out of this world with flavor. Just the smell of it reminded me of the night markets in Thailand. You have to try it at least once. The Pad Thai did not disappoint. It was a big portion full of flavor. I was thrilled to see a vegan Thai iced tea and it was GOOD. The prices also made me happy. They did have to raise them recently, but it's really nice to be able to get three entrees and two drinks for under $40. They have a couple benches out front to eat at too.

Nick J.

Yelp
Very respectable, very polite. Food is very good nice food carts Food is awesome with a very known selective variety would absolutely recommend having them.

Yelp
My fave, so far, is Drunken Udon Noodle with shrimp. So good! Pot stickers are good too! Nice couple runs it. Always pleasant to talk with. Food is consistently good!

Yelp
Great value for the food I received. The items I ordered were good tasting and would have been better tasting had they not been over spiced with chili pepper. I even asked for mild. Can't imagine what level of spiciness it would have been otherwise. But the owner was nice and the food was abundance and mostly tasty so I'm giving it 4 stars. Will upgrade my rating if the next time I try it and there was an improvement.

Yelp
Had a really outstanding lunch, the Tom Yum soup was great. We also had the drunken noodles, which were delicious.

Yelp
Mmmm! This was my first time ordering this today and it was so yummy. It tastes authentic and has very good flavor. We got the pad Thai which was DELICIOUS! Then also ordered the Thai wings which were also yummy, very spicy though!! They also give you so many gyozas :) Love this place, would definitely go back!

Ashlyn D.

Yelp
Always delicious with fast service! Workers are super friendly. Recommend the pad Thai!

Yelp
On a 102-degree day during a pandemic, when no one in the house could handle the thought of cooking one more meal, this phenomenal food truck came to the rescue. They hit every last dish out of the park, despite how terribly hot they must have been themselves. Incredibly fresh Pad Thai, tangy and perfectly spiced larb, fragrant pineapple fried rice for the kids.... it was the perfect antidote to our kitchen blues. Thanks so much, Moo Ping! We'll be back when it's a little cooler.

Bob B.

Yelp
This is a hard review to write. This cart has some great reviews and most of the ones that I read relate to their pad thai. Maybe that is great. I am going to write about my order which was their Pad Ga Prow. Ga prow is a street food classic in Thailand. There it is spicy, it is full of vege like what we would call bell pepper, onion, a fried egg and lots of HOLY BASIL. I get it, there is not a lot of holy basil available here in the States but I will settle for thai basil. It is in the name it should be prominent. The sauce should be complex and spicy. The dish I got had one vege, green beans. The dish I got had very little basil. The dish I got had a sauce that I would consider closer to teriyaki sauce than a gra prow sauce. No spice, no indication of fish sauce, maybe some some oyster sauce, maybe some black soy sauce? Not sure, but what I am sure of is that what I got, although cooked well and having some flavor, was NOT pad ga prow. I will say this, the serving size was good, the food was cooked well, the staff is great, the flavor was okay. I just have an issue with what they called my dish. Call it green bean stir fry or something but this was NOT a pad ga prow. Okay, I think I made my point. As a fellow food service participant I do want people to succeed and I am tempted to go back and get the Pad Thai. The food I got was well prepared and I did eat all of it. My review is solely based on what they called the dish I ordered. After the Pad Thai I hope to add a review related to that.

Yelp
By far the best Thai in the Eugene/Springfield area. Large portions, low prices, and the nicest staff ever! I order the Pad See Ew and the Pad Thai at least three times a week and have never been disappointed. Can't wait to try the rest of the menu!

Nicole O.

Yelp
This place ROCKS! The food is always excellent and the service is always great. I only wish they were open every day!

Johny Q.

Yelp
To called themself as a Thai Food is insulting to the Thai community. Went there today to get an Thai Ices coffee, Pad See Ew with chicken, and Shrimp Fried Rice. The iced coffee was the worst coffee I have ever tasted it. Took two sips and returned it back to them without even bother to ask for a refund. Went home with the other two orders hoping it won't be as bad as the coffee. Boy, was I disappointed. Pad See with chicken, I can't even tell you what cuisine is originally from. I know for certain is not Thai nor is anything remotely resembled to any Asian food at all. It seems someone just made that shit out of nowhere and it tasted bad, really bad. With the Fried Rice, same thing. It's the worst I have ever had. Don't believe me, compare them with any Asian cuisine food restaurants and I bet you you would said the same. Anyone who have given good reviews to these place must of have been friends or idiots of the restaurants. Or someone never had real Thai food or real Asian food. The reason I'm so frustrated is because I was deceived by their faults advertisement as a Thai food when they are not even close to be calling it a Thai food. It seems there's no effort even trying to resemble Thai cuisine. I even left like a 18% tips on a take out. This is my first time given such harsh review to a restaurant and I think it deserved it, because like I had stated earlier, no effort was given from the chef/cook to even try to make it taste like a Thai food. Don't be deceived by their advertisements as Thai food. Eat with your own risk. Don't let me get the credit of saying " I told you so ". Oh, just did my math, I have left 15%, not 18% tip. Also, forgot about the pork pot stickers that I had order as well. The only thing that tasted okay was the pork pot stickers and that's being very generous with the term "okay".

Yelp
This place is so great!! We are frequent customers, and everything has always been fantastic!! The people are super friendly, and fast! They even have a few gluten free options that are so delicious! The red curry is gf, and my go to! Flavor is so great! We love their thai iced tea and the drunken noodles! I love the west Eugene location, so I don't have to go all the way downtown. You def need to try this place!

Amy K.

Yelp
Moo Ping is the perfect Thai takeout experience. They always have the food ready quickly, the people working the cart are great, prices are reasonable, and of course mostly importantly the food is outstanding. Everything is fresh and flavorful. Favorites are the pad see ew with tempeh, the salad rolls that I think they only serve on Sundays, and the fried wontons, and my husband loves the red curry. Rather than asking about spice levels, they serve everything mild with optional spicy sauce on the side. I love this - it's easy to customize your own spice level, and it's easy to share food with kids before adding the spice. Best of all, their spicy sauce is AMAZING. So not only does it elevate the meal, but I hoard the leftover sauce in my fridge and add it to other soups and stir-fries. Highly recommend.

Jesse F.

Yelp
This place is great. Always super clean, very friendly service, and delicious food. Today I had the pad phet and asked them to make it as spicy as they could. I love spicy food, but man that gave me a run for my money. I'm still sweating a few minutes after finishing it! Will be back for sure. Thanks guys!!

Yelp
food is amazing and so are the staff members!!! please support their small lil food truck because on god there food PLUS the homemade chili oil is chefs kiss!!

James K.

Yelp
Best Thai in town!! My kids love it! Generous portions!! Very reasonable. The Won Tons are the bomb. Order ahead, it's always hot & ready!
