The soups were the best part of the experience. It’s very similar in taste as what I’ve had in Korea. Lovely spicy Pork backbone soup and rib soup.

Beware! Check your food before eating. You may be eating mold with your dish! A long time fan of the franchise. I have been to multiple locations from LA to San Jose. I have been waiting for Moobongri to open in San Diego. When I opened the spice paste, I found a big colony of mold. The branch is only a few weeks old and this is just spices, so this paste must have been sitting there since day 1. By this point, I already ate 2/3 of the dish. So who knows? Other side dishes may have mold too that I didn’t notice. I took the container to the cashier, but all I got was how dry the shop is. “Sorry” wasn’t said once. Unsanitary food is a health hazard. I will not risk mine and my loved ones health like this. I will go back to the tried and trusted LA branch.

i was excited to try soondae soup. The broth was so rich with an Korean authentic taste. However, the meat was old and difficult to eat due to the smell. I don't think I will try it again, unless they use fresh meat. I hope they improve it so there is no need to drive to LA

It was my first time to try it, but the flavors really surprised me. The soondae soup had a lot of meat and the beef soup was very rich and delicious. It feels like you won't be disappointed with any of the random choices! Can't wait to go back for another one!

I got the Soondae soup. I don't understand this dish. I added almost everything that came with it and it is still flavorless white broth. Why would I order this again? Am I missing something? I would understand if it was a taste I didn't like or something like that but it's literally a bowl of nothing with or without the ingredients that come with it. Truly baffling.

this past weekend me and my family were shopping at h mart and when we were looking around the food courts we saw moobongri and it really caught my attention if any new comers come you should get the number 9 also know as the beef back rib soup really good 10 of 10 and 100% coming back food came out quick and 10 of 10 service
