There's no service here, everything is done thru their app. Place order and pay, even the forced gratuity, before anyone even makes eye contact with you or says hello. Problem is, it's subject to errors.
So when their app issued a "processing error" after we entered payment for our dinners, we tried again. Three times. Same message. So I go to the empty bar and ask for help. Oh no problem, we'll just order from here (well why didn't you in the first place...? but ok). So once again we go they the orders at our table- but now it's showing $10 more on the ticket. That's because the clock has now ticked over to 7:05, and happy hour is over so dinner prices are higher. So your technical errors are costing me another $10?? That is correct, I was told.
I get a weird hunch so I check my credit card app. The $50 dinner HAS been charged to my card, twice! But Mr Tall Guy At The Bar says, that's not our problem, that's your bank's problem it miscommunication with our app. No he won't fix it, no he won't give me a receipt, but sure, I "should contest the charges", he says condescendingly. He does agree to give me his name and his manager's name, so yes, hell will be raised if these charges go thru and this hateful bartender plays dumb later.
We left. Spent $100 and 30 minutes there, got not a glass of water or even a welcome. But they did charge their 18% gratuity. Twice.
