"Mookie’s Deli opened in Cary, North Carolina, in July 2020. The Didners agreed on the lease at 1010 Tryon Village Drive, one day before Governor Roy Cooper shut down all the restaurants in the state. Mookie’s found a way to survive though, and will celebrate its second anniversary this year. Ron grew up eating at famous Manhattan delis like Katz’s, Carnegie, and Barney Greengrass. He also spent time at the Culinary Institute of America and working at restaurants around New York, like Café des Artistes, before moving his family to the Triangle. “A deli really isn’t what I’ve done in the past,” says Ron, “I mean, I think we’re the only deli that has a wine list. I don’t many people that will pair a knish with a gewurztraminer, but we will.” In addition to those knishes, Mookie’s offers traditional Jewish fare like latkes and brisket, and this time of year, it includes a Passover menu for those observing the holiday. In 2021, Judea Reform Congregation in Durham asked Ron if he could pull together Seder plates for their community, because members of the synagogue were having trouble sourcing the items for the tradition. The Passover menu, which also included matzo ball soup and chopped chicken liver, was so popular that Mookie’s offered it again this year. The full menu is posted online right now." - Erin Perkins

This place was really good. Service was excellent, food was amazing, and the atmosphere was nice. My husband had the petite Reuben with the homemade cut in house French fries. He said they were the best he had ever had. The consistency with the cut and they were cooked to perfection. I had the lunch special which consists of half sandwich and half soup. The vegetable tortilla soup was some of the best I've ever had. Turkey was sliced very thick on the toasted sourdough bread. I prefer thin slices of turkey, but this sandwich was still very good. Go check them out, we will definitely be back.

A must try deli in Cary! We ordered the Chili cheese dogs and a Pastrami sandwich, both were delicious! Highly recommend.

A hidden gem!!! The owner was friendly, and our waiter was amazing. The food was incredible and huge portions! The brussel sprouts are to die for! We will be back!

Google
The service was excellent. The waiter was very nice and friendly. I went here looking for some good NY pastrami. I had a 1/2 corned beef half pastrami sandwich. Honestly, it tasted just like the one I get at Jason's Deli.

Google
Authentic NYC deli, with nice choices of breads and deli meats. I haven't had beef tongue in many years and I was pleasantly surprised how tender it was. Also a nice selection of draft beers. I look forward to my next visit.

Google
I live a good half hour from here but I’ll make the drive just to come back! Great service, nice patio for sunny days, and the food was so fresh and tasty. It came out fast and was obviously JUST prepared right after I ordered. Fries were delicious and the French dip was gooey with cheese and had a good amount of roast beef.

Google
Nice neighborhood spot with a full bar, patio, and lots of TVs to catch the game. Some sandwiches come with sides, others not, so read the menu carefully. Portions are generous, good for sharing! They even have a K9 menu so your doggo can enjoy dinner after 4 p.m. 🐶 Good COVID policy adherence, too! I really appreciated that they had a veg Reuben option and look forward to returning for an Egg Salad Bagel sammy.

Yelp
This was my favorite place to take my kids in the area! Sadly, when I took them tonight... There was a sign on the door saying they were closing. I just want to say thank you to the owner and the staff for so many great meals and memories... Good luck to whatever is your next endeavor!

Yelp
Small business charm and service to match. Deli with a bar flair. Olympics on the 3 tvs, plenty of staff. Sit where you like when you come in. Table service will begin with menus. Large menu of choices. Petite, 1/2 lb, 1lb, and 1.5 lb options for your classic deli sandwiches. All served with more hand cut fries than I could eat. And I wanted to finish them. My brisket, apple cheese melt was fantastic. Filling and left me day dreaming of coming back. My friend's French dip, perfection. Fresh bread, well seasoned as jus. Just passing through, but will compare other small delis to this gem of a location.

Yelp
Delicious food! The basil gin sour cocktail was SO good! We sat at the bar and the bartender was so helpful and kind. Environment was great. Will definitely come back!

Bren H.

Yelp
Ended up here due to the long wait of a neighboring restaurant and were pleasantly surprised. Greeted and seated immediately after walking in. We opted to sit at the bar and had a lovely server assist us. He was friendly, efficient, and proactive which we adored. Place is a cute little restaurant and bar playing sports with a fun outdoor seating area too. Saturdays they offer $7 lemon gin basil sours which were stellar! Other drink/food specials throughout the week! The bartender picked basil directly from their garden outside and used it as toppings in the drink. Definitely recommend trying this drink if you venture here. The hot honey chicken sandwich was mid. The chicken is very processed and I didn't get really any hot honey flavoring. The bread was toasty and very tasty, however, I feel this sandwich is overpowered by the pimento cheese. Just a heads up the pimento cheese made with a heavy mayo base. The fries though were fantastic! The typical bar, crispy and soft fries complimenting the sandwich very well. Also tried the seared tuna caesar salad which had great tuna, but salad was mid (just lettuce, croutons, and cheese and dressing served on the side). I will say they do give you enough salad for two meals which is a plus. I would recommend trying out this place if you are in the Cary area, but maybe try something other than the hot honey sandwich or caesar salad.

Yelp
Mookie's is an excellent pastrami sandwich place with friendly ownership. Ron cared about his customers and tried to make the restaurant work. He personally oversaw the cooking of the pastrami fresh to his quality standards for his restaurant. You couldn't get a pastrami sandwich like this by going to your food store and buying boar's head pastrami. I am sorry his deli didn't work, it is so hard to make a restaurant continue on and be profitable.

Yelp
I was the first client when they opened. The place was spotless. Temp was nice a cool. The server was friendly and courteous. Sandwich was OUTSTANDING! Fries were definitely cut fresh. Really good too. I was here about three years ago. I have no idea what took me so long to go back.

Jean K.

Yelp
I had a really good experience when I first dined at Mookie's. I kept bringing this up as an option whenever hubs and I were looking for a quick bite to eat. I am a huge fan of matzo ball soup and enjoyed it on my first visit. Finally, hubs agreed to try it again and I was looking forward to some corned beef and some hot matzo ball soup. This most recent experience, however, was not great. The soup was cold, I mean it was probably not even room temperature. Not good and I was surprised that they served it like that. I ordered a sandwich on sourdough and the bread was thin and falling apart. It was a huge disappointment. I'm giving it 3 stars because my first experience was very good and I'm hoping that this was just a one-off. If we ever make it back here again, I'll update if I need to adjust my rating again but for now, it's almost 3 stars based on the average of my last 2 visits.

Yelp
Super friendly place! All the staff looked out for us and were just as nice as they could be.They were doing quite the business for a Sunday lunch time. Small restaurant with a bar. We were able to find parking on the side, cause the front and back were totally full. We started by ordering the Upper West Side Egg Rolls with Pastrami, Cole Slaw and Honey Sriracha which were fantastic! The Lower Side ones sound great too, will have to do those next time. I ordered their special which was stuffed cabbage, and sadly they were out of it. Went with a turkey reuben while Husband had the open faced brisket sandwich with fries. For a slight upcharge I got the cucumber salad instead of fries. Do know that the "petite" sandwich is far from petite. Thickly sliced turkey, melted cheese, small amount of sauerkraut and a very small amount of Thousand Island. I asked for more and my granted wish really added to the sandwich which was otherwise a little dry and could use the extra taste to it. Husband's brisket was nice and lean but he did need to add salt to it (which he almost never does). Fries were a real highlight. Husband was at first taken a bit aback by the gravy being cold, but he said when mixed with the hot meat it worked. Even though my sandwich was "petite", I brought home half of it and a lot of cucumber salad. Prices are reasonable for the quality and quantity. If you're wondering where in Cary this is, it's in the Crossroads area.

Yelp
Came here to celebrate my birthday, but this year alone. I was seated quickly and Robbie came over right away. Wow what a great waiter !! Even before he knew I was celebrating my birthday he was so kind. I chose the French Dip sandwich with waffle sweet potato fries. The food came out quick and the sandwich was hot and overflowing with meat and cheese. The fries were just average and not hot. I only ate a few and I liked them better than regular fries. I asked Robbie for a dessert suggestion and he said the carrot cake or the black and white cookie. I chose the cookie to go because I couldn't even finish the whole sandwich. When I got home I was shocked at ghe size of the cookie!!! Huge!! Robbie was right, it was great. I ate half that night and saved the other half for the next day. This is the closest I have found in the area to a real New York deli. Thank you for making my birthday special. I will be back!

Yelp
Oh gosh, as a native Jersey guy, I want to love this place but I can't do it. I had a full roast beef and turkey combo sandwich. The portion was quite big, about 3/4 pound of meat, just as it should be. The meat was pretty thick cut as well. But the roast beef disappointed me. I expected roast beef around medium rare, but it would up being served hot and cooked all the way through. Just not what I had in mind. Turkey was fine, poppy kaiser roll was nice and fresh. Megan was a really sweet server, a little shy, but I can tell she cares that the customers are happy. Ron, the owner, interacted with some of the regular customers at the bar, which is a sign of a good owner. The staff is why I'll go to the 4th star. I like that you can grab a bag of Deep River chips and a cold Dr Browns soda right off the shelf. Also, they have a nice bar with a reasonably good selection of drafts. I'm sure I'll come back and try the pastrami or corned beef, but the roast beef will be a pass.

Yelp
Where has this place been?! We just searched Yelp for a sandwich shop in Cary and Yelp recommended this absolute GEM!! My yankee husband and I were very excited to check it out and we were not disappointed! My husband absolutely loved the Rueben! Our server said the Rueben's are their signature dish. I'm a midwesterner so I ordered the fried chicken sandwich with pimento cheese and it was really good too. Their hand cut fried were bangin! We have a full box of leftovers and we are looking forward to going back again and again to try everything! The server was super nice. I was surprised that they have table service and a full bar. Red Oak on draft for the win!

Deborah B.

Yelp
Sandwiches were great. The matza ball soup needed more carrots , celery dill. The matza ball itself should be more fluffy. Suggest adding 2 more eggs in the matzo mixture. First boil them in the chicken broth. Then add it when serving.

Shirlyn Jung J.

Yelp
I ordered the pastrami Reuben full with side of gravy. Presentation looked really good. What was a little disappointing was the seasoning. The gravy was bland. I feel like it needed more salt. The sandwich was also bland. The sauerkraut seemed like it had been washed to take away the taste of the sour so I felt like I was just eating pickled cabbage without the pickle part lol I also felt like they didn't put enough sauce on the Reuben sandwich I will try them again probably asking for salt and sauce on the side, but I feel like for the amount of money you pay for the sandwich the the flavor should be there . I will try them again and see how some of the other sandwiches go.

Yelp
Corn beef isn't tender dry i asked for a cream soda they give me a diet i asked for mustard they give me brown mustard just a bad experience not the mention my waitress was the only friend person there

Bob M.

Yelp
Very disappointed in the entire experience. Way too expensive (I spent $43.00 on two sandwiches (a corned beef with Swiss on a Kaiser roll and a turkey with Swiss on sourdough (they were out of multigrain). The corned beef was dried out, only one slice of cheese, skimpy on the mustard; overall very disappointed!

Yelp
Wife an I popped in on Saturday. No one greeted us even though a gent was standing behind the counter and looked up from his paper and slopped down into his reading. A friendly server(not ours) was delivering to her table was kind and said to sit where we would like. Our Server was great who came over. We ordered a petite corned beef Ruben , And regular pastrami Sandwiches The Ruben as for the corned beef. Flavor ... A 3 out of 10. Not what was expected being a " NY" Vibe type of kosher style establishment. The pastrami... rubbery, and 60% fat. As I bit into it and the meat could not be penetrated however pulled out of the rye bread and I released my aching teeth dropping it to the scratched old metal tray. I then separated the pieces of pastrami to salvage it at the amount of fat versus meat was insulting. We didnt take our phones with us to produce the pictures however I think anyone who has eaten such a sandwich could understand. My advice to the owners.... Pay attention to your products a lot more or train kitchen /Deli staff to at least care what they serve. I still tipped my server 25% Till the next "REAL NY DELI OPENS" This place is a pass!! I left it and left not eating it The menu states " our pastrami has fat and flavor." It should say

Molly R.

Yelp
Pro: Reuben was good, we got the petite which was 6 oz of pastrami. We should have gotten the 12 oz but $24 for a sandwich, we passed. Cons: Tuna melt was very watery, idk what from, but I don't recommend getting it. CON!! The older bartender came to take an order or talk to the table in front of us and as he was talking to him, he put his hand behind his back into his pants, like pulling on his pants/belt but his fingers were in there! It was so gross. He was also handing out some food fyi. I think it was unintentional but NO.

Sookia S.

Yelp
This has been on my list of places to try and it was definitely worth the wait. The portions are pretty large. We had leftover fries for the next day. My Reuben was moist and filling. This is a great place for lunch.

Alex P.

Yelp
Ehh. Service was decent, got everything out relatively fast. The atmosphere was okay for lunch. I got a basic burger all the way with a side of fries and a Diet Coke. It was in total with a 20% tip $26. I think that is a little pricey for a meal for one. Even nowadays. The burger was bland and I needed to add a lot of salt to it. I understand that is a personal preference. The fries were decent. It was overall okay but don't have a desire to return.

Fahad S.

Yelp
Had been craving a Reuben and this spot definitely delivered. With an incredible selection, this establishment offers some fantastic sandwiches with something for everybody (even some vegetarian options that we packed with fresh flavors). While it may not present as a traditional deli, the sandwiches do deliver. The staff were super friendly, service was prompt, and the interior was clean and inviting. With space for groups, this is a great spot for some casual dining but pricing was a bit on the higher side. Would definitely recommend and will likely return

George D.

Yelp
Still in search of an excellent cheesesteak since the last local jewel closed, we tried Mookie's based on a review that said their cheesesteaks were "pretty good". They are not. Between the 3 of us we tried a just cheese and steak, and a steak with and onions and mushrooms... and these were takeout. They were overrun with cheese wiz, and the steak part was pretty flavorless. The onions and mushroom one had more flavor of course, but was still awash in melted cheese wiz. Can't recommend the cheesesteaks here.

Terry S.

Yelp
Just okay for overpriced sandwich. Good tasting sandwiches, thought for price maybe a little light on the meat

Kathy M.

Yelp
I was too excited to go and the service wonderful The sad part was the sandwich had no flavor like another viewer said. We got Reuben's and pastrami Suggestion- Grill the bread not toast Sauerkraut has zero flavor and I asked for extra

Kay J.

Yelp
The food was very good!! We had a pretty large table and the workers were very helpful! Pretty laid back atmosphere and very popular!

W S.

Yelp
Tried out the $30 reuben. It was not worth $30. Portion size is what you would expect from a corned beef joint, except that it was super expensive, and the meat was so dry, strips of meat weren't laying down compactly into the sandwich and were a bit floppy, as if they were heated up in a pan, or worse, microwaved during preparation before assembling the sandwich over the grill. Kraut and dressing were stingy and the flavor did not pop (the sandwich was dry). I will give anyone who takes a stab at a reuben around here a chance, especially when they are rumored to be giant sized, but I will say I will not be going back.

Tauna S.

Yelp
I rarely toss out 2 stars because I try to find some reason to go with 3 but this was a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT! I could throw in a 1/2 star for the tenderness of the pastrami but the flavor of the meat was lackluster! After watching a video on Mookies website showing that they were featured on My Carolina, I was looking forward to something over the top. Not only was it not over the top, they missed the middle! I should have known better thinking back through the video that one of the girls was a vegetarian and the other had never had pastrami before. How does a news station feature food that the host has no experience? Anyway, I ordered a Pastrami Reuben and received a sandwich with very little flavor: the rye flavor in the bread was missing, there was very little sauerkraut, I had to search for the thousand island, of but there was cheese, so maybe if it was a grilled cheese they would have rated better. So why 2 stars you may ask, well the two stars as a result of the waiter, Jorge, trying his best to keep up with our waters, although our adult beverages were messed up a couple times (and I think he was our bartender too). The small size of the place didn't bother me because they were not busy. Are they losing business because of the price compared to the quality? A 6 inch (petite) ruben was $17.50! You tell me, wouldn't you expect over the top flavor for $17.50? Well one thing is, I generally give places that don't rate high a second chance but I'll need a raise before I can go back because I think they are pricing their business out of the neighborhood especially when compared to the quality, quantity and flavor of their food. Consider I have to drive 35 minutes, a bit of a hike for a unimpressive experience. BTW I did take 1/2 home to my husband so I could make sure it wasn't just me. He had the same impression that I did, so at this time I wouldn't recommend unless you don't know what a Reuben tastes like, or unless you are extremely wealthy and have no pallet.

Emily N.

Yelp
The roast beef is amazing!!!!! Get it every time! I also love the French dip. Staff is so nice and friendly!

Smythe R.

Yelp
Corner bar with great sandwiches, a few outdoor tables, and TVs showing sports with the sound all the way down. I came in on a random Tuesday for a late lunch, and was digging into a pastrami Rueben in less than a New York Minute. Food was hot and seasoned perfectly. The medium sandwich was enough for lunch the next day. Fries are house cut, and you get about a medium potato-sized serving. Terrific NY place, down here in the south.

Jackie S.

Yelp
First time visiting. Parking isn't the best. It's rather confusing. The complex could fit more vehicles in the parking lot if not for the huge median. Ordered the Mac N Cheese balls. They were tasty but the centers were still ice cold in the middle. My main course was delicious. Lots of meat for the 6 Oz petite Pastrami Reuben. The best I've ever had. It was enough to take home and make it a second meal. Fries were fresh and crispy. Would I recommend Mookie s? Totally. Just ask if they can cook the Mac n Cheese balls a little longer ,

Michael M.

Yelp
I had the corned beef sandwich a red oak amber ale and really enjoyed. Whenever I'm in the cary area I always stop by Mookie's. The service is always good and helpful as well.

Ciara H.

Yelp
This place deserves more than 5 stars The bartender and the whole crew is super friendly and take pride in this place! Which is rare to come by. And the vibe is on point as well! The food is AAMAZZING. I had it two days in a row! Even Togo I live an hour away and had to bring this home to my husband and you wouldn't even know the difference. Had to grab a beer of course- tobacco something - I'm the worst when it comes to remembering names of beer until I've had it a million times. It's an IPA and delicious

Dave F.

Yelp
Tried Mookie's today because the reviews were good. I was eyeing the Turkey Rubin sandwich for the low, low price of $32!! I was going to walk out but I figured anybody this audacious to charge $32 for a sandwich was a Steve Job's type visionary and ordering would be like buying Apple in 2010 . So I did exactly what the typical unsuspecting fool would do and ordered it. This is NOT a Rueben, it's a very thick cut turkey sandwich with a smidge of sauerkraut and less of a smidge of dressing. It's very dry and boring. All in all, a bad sandwich if it were $12. Unfortunately for me it wasn't $12, it was $32. In the game of life, self realization is important. Today I realized I was the proverbial sucker born once a minute and Mookie's was born in the 59th second. Needless to say, we won't be back to see Mookie. By the way, the sandwich is actually $32.50.

Jennifer B.

Yelp
Super good food! Was traveling for work and will definitely eat her again. Everything tasted amazing and we got a lot of food for a great price.

Monique B.

Yelp
They have $6 Bloody Mary's on Sunday and $4 pints of any draft beer. They serve all the good local ones too!!

Raah Z.

Yelp
On a friend's recommendation, I drove 21 miles out of my way to try a New York-style pastrami sandwich. However, to my disappointment, I was asked to choose ingredients from a list, which meant they couldn't make me the sandwich I was expecting. It was clear they didn't understand what a true New York-style pastrami sandwich is. The place was dirty, and the food smelled off. To make matters worse, the server scratched under his shirt before taking my order and then handled my food without washing his hands. I had to throw away my food.

Chris H.

Yelp
Quick review here for Mookie's New York Deli. I was out here last night to attend a monthly "retiree" meeting with my fellow New York ex-pats. It's a little tough finding authentic New York style deli foods down here but, it is getting easier. I've heard of Mookie's before and was looking forward to coming here. Anyway, the menu looks really good and has a lot of the options you would find in a New York City metropolitan deli / diner. I went with the Turkey Club platter. I really wanted the Corned Beef or Pastrami but, it St Patrick's Day this week and we are having corned beef or Thursday so that was a no go. The others in our group who got that said it was delicious. The club sandwich I got came stacked with real turkey, bacon, "LTM." It was great. I haven't had a club sandwich in a long time and this was one of the best. The fries were fresh and hand cut. They were fried perfectly and seasoned just right. I washed it down with a pint of Brooklyn Lager. They have a nice desert menu and the owner said he had fresh cheesecake coming out. Next visit for that. I'm definitely making another trip out here soon to sample other items on the menu such as the potato latkas, matzo ball soup and the Brussel sprouts. An updated review will follow.

Arable M.

Yelp
Our first visit to Mookies! Excellent menu selections, food, draft beers, cocktails And staff! Five stars! Already selecting some items for future visits Highly recommend!

Scottie S.

Yelp
The upper westside egg rolls are delicious, and the sauce it comes with is the BEST! We always order extra of it for our fries. Speaking of the fries, the portions are huge and come with the sandwiches and most dishes. The fries are excellent and crispy! I've been here three or four times and the service is always great. The servers are nice and the food comes out fast. Based on most reviews, I need to try the matzo ball soup and the latkes next! The turkey club was a bit dry but I wasn't expecting oven roasted thick cut turkey. The bacon on the sandwich though was super crispy. This is a great deli with huge portions, expect leftovers!

Anne F.

Yelp
Authentic NY Deli down south! Nice staff in that New York kinda way!! Typical diner/bar style with NY memorabilia too. Good prices for value!

Melissa G.

Yelp
We love a good deli and there just aren't enough around! This place has a nice outdoor eating area and the server was super. My husband's pastrami Reuben was delicious! Look at the picture. I ordered the grilled cheese with Granny Smith apples and bacon. I ordered the bacon on the side and it was delicious! Perfectly cooked. The sandwich though - not so much. Some may say it's my fault for ordering a grilled cheese at a deli, but my thinking is if you have it on the menu then do it right! The cheese wasn't melted, the bread not great, and the apple was sparse. We will go back again though and I'll order something else. The fries and cucumber salad were delicious! It was also priced fairly.

Dale D.

Yelp
Great Rueben on toasted Rye, meat was excellent, sauerkraut was tasty, fries were hot and crispy, the pickle spear was a nice finishing touch. Dr. Brown's Root Beer was a welcome beverage that brought back memories. Delivery was accurate and arrived quickly. I will order again from Mookies Deli.

Yelp
The food, service and ownership were amazing. I had the Cuban sammie and it was loaded with all the goodness a Cuban sandwich should have. I will be returning and telling my friends about this place.

Yelp
Great service and great food. We enjoyed our appetizers and sandwiches during our visit. The latkes as well as the corned beef egg rolls were very good. We all enjoyed the Mookie's Club. One club could be enjoyed by two people. The fresh cut fries were excellent. Prepare for a long restful nap after eating at Mookie's. Great experience.

Yelp
Ordered two turkey clubs to go. The sandwich boxes were extremely heavy and with never having been here before I wondered why the weight for two sandwich boxes. I was so disappointed with the quality and blandness of the meal. I was raised in CT with many family in NY state that actually settled and started towns I. Westchester County. You may call yourself a NY deli but you are far from it. NY deli is thin sliced meat piled high, not thick slices of turkey with one piece of tomato and a piece of lettuce. And turkey club sandwiches are served on toast with plenty of lettuce and tomato. The bacon was too thick and fa.ling of a sandwich that was over 4 inches or more in height. I was trying to do something nice for my daughter andvit was so disappointing and over priced. I will never waste my hard earned money in your establishment again.

Yelp
Service was great but the food was overpriced and bland. I was excited to come here after being told it's a proper NY deli. I got a ruben and it was the most flavorless ruben I've ever had in my life. Even extra Russian dressing didn't help because it was also bland. Fries were luke warm and soggy, pickle spear was limp. My son's chicken fingers were burnt and chewy. He literally took a bite and spit it out. It came with a dole fruit cup (those overly saturated and sugary fruit cups you buy in a grocery store) not real fruit. I would have complained but kids eat free on Thursday. Since my sandwich sucked, I just shared the bread from it with him. How could you consciously serve this to a toddler? Thankfully there was one strip that wasn't burnt, but it was hard.

Yelp
We just moved here from out of town and I think we have found a great local restaurant! Staff was very kind and accommodating. Unless you have a massive stomach a "petite" will be more than enough, especially with the large side of fries that come with it. Food was excellent. Had the chopped cheese for the first time ever so won't be able to help tell you how it ranks among the best, but ice had many Reubens and this is great! Also, the pickles that come with each sandwich is great. We will be back for sure! Next time we will have one of the mixed drinks and try the Latka.

Yelp
Excellent New York Deli food in NC. Pastrami, Corned Beef, knishes, latkes, deli salads, , and Matzo Ball Soup! Big menu of interesting lunch and dinner specialties. The service is fast and friendly. The ambiance is casual and inviting. Great bartender. A nice place to eat or just relax and have a drink. A good selection of tap beers.

Yelp
NY deli style food. This was a great lunch found on 919 Yelp Elite event. I cant believe how fast they are able to serve fresh full lunch. I enjoyed the club FILLED with flavorful turkey, bacon, lettuce, tomato and portioned right mayo. The white bread was my favorite part of the HUGE yummy sandwich. I liked the crispy and hot fries. The menu offers classic like pretzels, mac cheese balls, latkes. The bar offers plenty of beers and wine list is plentiful. The menu offers seasonal delights and online shows a doggie K-9 menu.

Yelp
Very good service and food! I used the dine-in 919. First time! I ordered the chopped cheese and carrot cake for dinner. I did take-out. The servings on everything were plentiful. Just know that I was texting sharing my dinner with folks as I was eating, so that's a good indicator that I will be back! Let me just say, I am very pleased with my dinner tonight. Chopped cheese reminds me of a Philly cheesesteak with ground beef instead of steak on a soft hoagie bun. The beef is well-seasoned, with perfectly crisp lettuce, juicy tomatoes, and onions. The top layer of the fries was good but towards the bottom, there were lots of crumbles and broken pieces of fries. It was close to closing, so maybe they gave me the last bit of the final batch. I'm not sure. The carrot cake is delicious, very moist, and with the right amount of icing. The cake cured my sweet tooth. I couldn't get enough!
