MooKoos Dessert&Sandwich Shop

If you have a sweet tooth, MooKoos is a must-visit! Their baklava is hands down the best I’ve had in San Francisco—perfectly flaky, rich, and not overly sweet. This has officially become my new favorite spot for baklava. On top of that, the fresh Turkish coffee is incredible—strong, smooth, and the perfect pick-me-up if you need to get things done. The vibe is warm and welcoming, and you can tell everything is made with care. Highly recommend stopping by whether you’re craving dessert, looking for a caffeine boost, or both!

Very friendly and welcoming staff. I bough chocolate baklava, a Turkey bacon and cheese sandwich and a box of Turkish delight. Everything was delicious.

MooKoos has fresh ‘n smooth Turkish Coffee, beautiful baklavas, & many other delicious desserts. The owner is SO nice, too! He also sells hot sandwiches - both savory AND sweet! My husband & I make regular visits to see what new treats he has for us to try out. Hubby’s favorite is easily the seashell baklavas. Any time you are in SoMa you gotta come check out MooKoos. There’s something for everyone & we are always greeted with a smile. :)

Kind owner with great hospitality and delicious desserts and Turkish coffee!!! A gem in the neighborhood :) the chocolate baklava is my favorite treat so far.

New spot located in SOMA. Honestly, some of the best desserts around and the workers are so kind and helpful. They also have sandwiches but have not had the chance to try yet.

These desserts are so delicious! I'm not usually much of a "sweets" person, but these are worth trying. Every item I tried was amazing. Authentic, balanced and unique. I highly recommend stopping by for a sweet treat.

Newly opened Turkish bakery. With warm hospitality, it's one of the few spots in the area with baked goods. Upon walking in there's a window full of pastries. I quickly discovered all the pastries are shipped from abroad. This was a bit disappointing to hear but i understand bakeries are difficult. The issue is that each one is served still on the colder side. Besides that you can definitely taste each baklava having flavors much milder in flavor compared to ones that are actually made in house.

Delicious, delicious baklava. I am very happy I found this little shop! I also grabbed a chocolate chip cheesecake from them and it was fantastic. I would love to try their other offerings and a Turkish coffee!

SOMA's best kept secret for a sweet tooth. This place has the yummiest desserts and the best pistachio baklava I've ever had. The owner, Muhammad is just as lovely. They have coffee, croissants, and sandwiches too, as well as vegan options. I highly recommend the carrot bar. It's to die for.

Delicious Turkish coffee and pastries, great hospitality. Lovely to have a place like this in the neighborhood! Late evening hours are clutch as well :)
