As a professional cook, I’m rarely impressed by much when it comes to dining out since I typically can cook whatever. This place was amazing. I’ve been three times so far and since it’s close to my job, I definitely will continue to go and support their business. The food is excellent as well as the service. When it comes to Thai food, I typically stick to the classics but I’m going to go down the menu and try something different each time. Their Drunken Noodles were 10 outta 10! I’m not sure who does the cooking but they are the truth! Thank you for truly preparing food with integrity and respect for quality and your guest.

Google
Beautiful place with lovely food and friendly staff w great service. It’s a self-serve kind of place where you order when you get in, they give you a beeper and once the food is ready it beeps and you go and collect your food. It’s an adorable place w esthetic decor. They also have a cute vending machine in the front which is great for young couples! We loved everything we ordered and our plates were licked clean!😀 We got The veggie egg rolls, Shrimp fried rice (one of the best we have had ever), Green curry w veggies (was super flavorful), it comes a rice, Thai fried rice w tofu (Excellent) & Thai tea which was really good. It might be too sweet for some people but no complaints, it was lip smacking good! One of the best Thai teas we have had in a long time. A must try place if you love Thai food. It is for sure the most authentic tasting Thai food I’ve had outside Thailand. Highly recommend it!

Google
Cute and cozy Thai restaurant in a good location of Dallas. Te food was delicious but the portion was smaller than expected. No server, which is ok, but at least clean the tables. There was one that needed yo be cleaned. The whole place was clean other than that. Recommended.

Google
I really enjoyed the dumplings I ordered as a appetizer. It reminded me of shumai but double the size. I ordered spaghetti drunken noodles and the flavor felt a bit too salty compared to the ones I’ve had at other places. The bigger chicken pieces, while it looked fully cooked on the outside, had a bit undercooked texture in the center (when you chew it felt rubbery and not stringy) so I didn’t risk eating the bigger pieces.

Google
From first entering service was very nice and helpful. I got the popcorn chicken combo and a thai tea smoothie…food was not short of exceptional. The rice was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The chicken was seasoned to perfection and so crisp. The boba just like i expected it too. Def would come here again 1000/10!

Google
This place is a GEM. Do not pass it up. They have a wide selection of food, drinks, and dessert’s. They also do an amazing job with food presentation. The restaurant is always clean and the food just tastes fresh and clean sourced. Even the sauces taste homemade.

Google
Atmosphere is nice and peaceful. Drinks are great and portion size is satisfactory. Didn’t try the food only the drinks, but they were good! 10/10. Attached are the Man Berry Smoothie and Matcha.

Google
Cute restaurant with yummy spicy food. It's very clean & staff are friendly! My soup was awesome. If you enjoy 🔥🔥🔥 spicy, it's worth it!!!!

Yelp
I got the Royal Milk Tea and two soups to go and omg they were so incredibly good! Will definitely return!!

Yelp
I got a Lychee Sakura Sparkling drink and wow, it was the most refreshing drink I have ever had. I was just stopping by quickly for a drink but I will have to come back to order some food. I saw what some of the customers were eating and it looked delicious. A lot of curries and noodle dishes... you have to go in and see the photos by the cashier. Trust me!

Yelp
Service was quick and easy, they had plenty of seating! Randomly saw the restaurant while driving and we decided to give it a shot because the name was cute haha Seems like a sweet family owned business and I'm not sure why this place doesn't get more business!! We got the curry puffs, popcorn chicken, and Thai basil fried rice. Curry puffs could use more seasoning as it lacked in flavor, mainly tasted like potato and slightly sweet. The exterior I also wish was more buttery and flakey as well. Popcorn chicken was spectacular, we got it medium but would opt for spicier next time! It's dark meat and was sooo tender and tasty. Super flavorful. The fried rice was amazing, only critique I'd give it is the chicken could use more flavor and the veggies to be cut into smaller sizes and the large size of it messes with the amazing flavor of the rice. I would suggest to omit the carrots in general or just dice both bell peppers and carrots! Curry puffs 6/10 Popcorn chicken 9/10 Thai basil fried rice 8.5/10

Yelp
I came here a couple of times. It's a very cozy and solid spot. They got my favorite drinks and the best Thai fried chicken wings. Service was ok and nothing to sneeze at. I'd like to come back to try more stuff though.
google avatar

Marcy A.

Yelp
Food is good and for nearby Thai in that neighborhood, it's a solid spot. However, if I was willing to drive somewhere for Thai food I'd rather eat somewhere else. You order at the counter and when your food is ready your buzzer goes off to pick up food at the counter.
google avatar

Benz J.

Yelp
Food looks okay. This restaurant didn't have table services, it's an order and quick eat or take home style. We ordered coffee to try, it's okay. Perhaps next time.

Yelp
Hidden gem alert! The food was absolutely excellent. Hot, fresh, flavorful, great portion size. The place was clean and the service was quick. I got the pad kee mao and milk tea and it was 10/10. Can't wait to try something different next time.
google avatar

Yelp
Back to the drawing board trying to find the best Thai in Dallas. We were in the area and got pad Thai to share and fried rice for the kids. The pad Thai was drenched in sauce and was way too sweet. The fried rice for it kids was okay - we asked for a plain fried rice, but was hoping for nicer presentation. Not pictured is the stringy eggs on top of the fried rice. The ambience is super nice and cute! Loved how clean it was! Service is self serve. I tipped 20% and had to fetch my own water and get my own food. The bathrooms were super clean, which is nice when you have kids! I love supporting local businesses especially owned by minorities, but I'm not sure I'd go out of my way. Maybe we will try again when we're in the area.

Yelp
Did not realize that Royal IT Cafe emerged from the pandemic with a new owner and now a new concept, too. It went from a do-it-all cozy study nook to a more focused Thai powerhouse, and I'm not mad at all. \\ basil fried rice + chicken - savory oyster sauce and fragrant basil collaborate well to make every bite just tantalizing - chicken was mostly white meat which still tasted fine but dark meat probably would've suited the dish better - one serving was perfect as two meals for me \\ pad thai - also a good portion size - sauce was robust and tasty - lots of bean sprouts and peanut - soft springy noodles I've yet to try the boba after the owner change but the menu still looks as extensive as before. Gone are the poke and popcorn chicken and thai rolled ice cream, but this is still a nice place where you could study all day without worrying about food.

Yelp
ORDER - Rose Milk Tea The Rose Milk Tea definitely tasted like some rose but mostly it was very sugary. The boba was a lot more on the harder side so personally not something that I like. Overall, the drink was pretty mid just because overly sweetened to the point it took away from the rose essence and just mid boba. VIBES Very cute place. Upon entry the place seems a bit jumbled, but as you walk further, there's plenty of seating and it's a lot more comfy. There are two little sections to sit at. One side that gives off more dining vibes while the other side gives nice study and hangout areas. There wasn't anyone else there so pretty empty and quiet. There's a cute spot with a couch area perfect for pictures and for catching up with friends. SERVICE The drinks came out quickly

Yelp
Always enjoy this place. Ordered through Uber, had the Popcorn chicken combo and chicken laab. I always pick the spiciest level but it has never been spicy enough so this time I wrote in the comments, 'Hurt me.' And they DELIVERED!

Yelp
On a lark (mostly because my wife was extremely hungry & she gets a little bit bitchy when she gets hungry.) we decided to try this place while I went around two batteries plus to pick up a jumpstart device that I had serviced there. She's Taiwanese & she just loves good Asian influenced food. She said the big fat noodles with beef was just very very very well done & delicious with a tonne of beef added into it. I had the big fat noodles with tofu, but I didn't eat it until the next day & it was freaking awesome even cold (but I'm a guy, we're very easy to please.). While we were waiting, I read some of the reviews & was quite surprised by what I was reading because everything was just perfect. The service, the cleanliness, & the way the open bright & airy concept of the restaurant was nice & inviting. I don't know, but in my opinion, you can't go wrong with a place like this. Maybe they had a change in chefs or ownership that previously garnered the lower star ratings or perhaps it was just because of Covid. ‍

Yelp
Fresh hot food. Very flavorful and the bubble teas are on point. I think they only have one chef because it takes a looooooong time to get your food and drinks. Worth the wait but I would come more often if they were quicker.

Yelp
Located in the shopping plaza behind TJ maxx so there's plenty of parking spots available. You will order and pay in the front. There are also plenty of places to sit, whether it's eating alone or sitting with a small group. Will definitely be back to try other options on their menu.

Yelp
Great Boba! I love to support local businesses, especially when the food is of great quality. The potstickers were great, and the pineapple fried rice was served using half a pineapple as the bowl. The boba was also tasty and they had many options. Truly a local gem worth trying.
google avatar

Yelp
Brown sugar tea is my favorite! One piece of boba and half sugar are perfect. I love this place and will come here again.
google avatar

Yelp
I've ordered from MM numerous times since my original review and every time the food has been as delicious as the first time! I can't recommend them enough!
google avatar

Yelp
What a cute boba cafe near North Park mall. The set up is so cute and welcoming. I ordered a taro smoothie and was really impressed! The smoothie was smooth, creamy, and just the right amount of sweetness. I definitely plan to come back to check out their food options and sure look forward to my next visit! The staff that helped me was very nice. I placed my order and she was ready with my order quick so I didn't have to wait at all.

Yelp
I love this nice, quaint Thai place here in the heart of Dallas! Taste of authentic, drinks are great and the service is impeccable. We try to go at least once a week to support this asian location! Of and of course, their boba milk teas are remarkably good as well!
google avatar

Yelp
First time here and I definitely want to come back! Perfect work spot with easy access to outlets, great food options (I got the papaya salad which was fresh and spicy, but the other foods looked and smelled delicious). Loved the decor and music inside. Music is a bit loud so not a great place to go if you need to take meetings.

Sophia P.

Yelp
I arrived and no one was addressing me to take an order. Once I was acknowledged, the assistance to helping me make a choice from two options became easier and making the food/dining experience even better. No bolba was available for my milk tea. Turns out my salad was served without shrimp, did receive after the picture was taken. I don't recall getting a receipt either. I did need to request for a box several times. The price is high, the food is good.
google avatar

Melissa M.

Yelp
Cute, clean and comfortable! The food was awesome and plated beautifully! The milk tea was also made fresh. I definitely recommend the papaya salad & popcorn chicken! Make sure you get it medium spicy. You order at the counter then are given a buzzer for when your order is ready. The chicken took a bit long to cook but everything was tasty!

Lori D.

Yelp
I ate dinner there 3/14/25. I ordered a flat noodle beef dish. I unfortunately received food poisoning I have been sick for 6 days with nausea vomiting and diarrhea. I have seen the doctor twice and missed 4 days of work. Please be careful if you choose to eat there. I would give no stars if it was an option.

Yelp
We stumbled upon this place when visiting the Dallas area for an event. Our group had 4 people and a BIG dog, and it was hot outside. Not knowing if they allowed dogs, we split up our party and had 1 person stay outside with the dog. The owner asked us to please come inside out of the heat, and she went and got our dog a bowl of water. That alone was so sweet, and we felt very welcomed. Once we had a chance to regroup, we noticed how beautiful the place was , then the extensive menu and then all the yummy desserts! We ordered a variety of things, including Thai tea, Lychee drink, Pad Thai , a Mango Rice dessert, and other things I can not remember. Needless to say our overall experience was a 5+!
google avatar

Kenya R.

Yelp
We only got the fries and spring rolls. Both were delicious. The fries were the perfect crispness and the spring rolls were the most flavorful I've ever had. The tea was okay. The staff is nice, and the place is cute. I will definitely return.

James S.

Yelp
I walked in and asked questions about the menu. The gentleman behind the cash register couldn't speak English and just stood there and looked at me.
google avatar

Cat N.

Yelp
I came in for a green apple GT boba and jian bing Chinese crepe. The green apple green tea had chunky green apple flavor because it wasn't mix in hot water to dissolve. It's what happens when you mix in flavor syrup with cold tea, the cold doesn't dissolve the flavor. I asked the guy if he thought the green chunks was normal and he said it's a part of the drink. This is not my first time drinking boba dude. I'm quite an expert in boba tea, I drink it at least twice a week. I do not recommend the green apple green tea. The jian bing was okay. I picked the crunchy part and ate it leaving the crepe/egg. Flavor wise, not a fan. Texture, it was like an omelette

Yelp
Royal I.T. Cafe is run by one of the nicest families we have ever met! We came here around 8:15 PM and even though the place closed at 9PM, they were still so accommodating to us! We made sure to eat as quickly as we could so that way they still had some time to clean up and close. The fried rice was so delicious and savory! I think what really got to us was the boba LOL. The thai tea was super creamy and the boba was the perfect amount of chewy and soft! My husband ordered a matcha boba tea which was also very sweet but still reminiscent of matcha flavor. Overall we were just very impressed by the kindness and sincerity of the family running Royal I.T. Cafe! I know if we came back to Dallas we would definitely come back here!

Yelp
Delicious food and boba tea spot! I stopped by before leaving Dallas from work and it was definitely a much needed stop after a long day. It's a Thai cafe serving food and a lot of different boba tea options. I got brown sugar milk tea, Takoyaki, and Thai papaya salad. Takoyaki is delicious with 2 big pieces of octopus inside. Papaya salad tastes just like what I used to eat in Thailand - flavorful and great crunchy texture, big portion too. Brown sugar milk tea is really good and I think it has a good amount of sweetness. Couldn't finish it so I saved it for the next day and for some reason it was even sweeter the next day, but still really good. Boba is chewy and good, should be a bit sweeter to be even better. Very good spot for a snack, a drink, or even a meal to treat yourself after shopping.

Marlene W.

Yelp
Our first time here and we LOVED IT!!! Everything was laid out so nicely and you can tell the ingredients are fresh. There were so many different flavor notes and each one was delicious. We also got the mango sticky rice for dessert and it was BUSSIN. Can't believe we've lived in the neighborhood for over 10 years and never been to this place. True gem and we will be coming back!!

Yelp
Place is chill Yk. Food is good Yk, service is excellent Yk. Drink is chill Yk. Everything chill Yk

Kayla C.

Yelp
This is my favorite Dallas boba spot! The workers are incredibly kind, have memorized my order (I stop by often) and they have quality products! Consistent every time. I highly recommend the milk teas or smoothies (layered with cream). The dumplings are also a go-to. SO good!!

Mendoza A.

Yelp
Was great, food is very good and service was very nice, The place was quite but not bad
google avatar

Grace Y.

Yelp
Such a cute little cafe! It is evident that a lot of effort and care is put into the appearance of the food. All the appetizers we ordered were tasty, although I do wish the portions were bigger. However, the smaller portions probably play into the aesthetic of the restaurant. They also have a wall painted with many Asian food items which are super cute! At this cafe, it really is about the experience that comes with the food you eat. They played a lot of Taylor Swift too, which I was definitely a fan of :)
google avatar

Marissa C.

Yelp
Never been to the restaurant itself but, we've ordered takeout several times for work and it's so delicious! There's something for everyone on the menu.

Derrah J.

Yelp
Ate at Moom Muum twice this week. Same experience both times... okay food, lousy attitude of the staff and service. Will NOT go back because of the lack of friendliness or caring of the staff. You would think a small restaurant would be appreciative of the customers who come in, would greet them, speak kindly to them... none of that occurred on either visit. Prices are high for only acceptable food. Go to Bangkok City instead as they are always number one in Dallas ratings.
google avatar

David F.

Yelp
We come here every week for boba and dinners and have enjoyed it. Last trip we had burned flat noodles that tasted like cigarettes. Very bummed and was only offered a discount for the next time, no refund. Not sure why they assumed there would be a next time.

Erica B.

Yelp
Food ordered: Pad Thai, Pad Sew Ew and a Peach Green Tea. Everything tasted so good! Both noodle dishes were perfectly cooked and seasoned. Only complaint is I wish the Pad Sew Ew had more noodles. The Pad Thai had way more on the plate but the presentation of the dishes were so cute! I can't wait to come back. Service is wonderful too! It's the kind of service where you order and then get a buzzer and pick your food up at the station. They prepare it on a large wooden tray. You always service yourself water which btw was GOOD water as well! This place is clean and cute! Pricing is a bit on the higher side total was about $46 after tax and tip for two dishes and a drink! WORTH IT in my Opinion!
google avatar

Tiffany S.

Yelp
Food looked pretty blan for a Thai place, but blends are on point! Fresh and tangy juices with sweet bobas, delicious. Plus quick. There's some shops near by, so recommend getting a drink here first, then have a nice mosey around lol
google avatar

Yelp
Great food, great home style feeling and ambiance. The lounge area with couches is a great touch.

Yelp
Not to be confused with Royal ID Cafe, where you have to prove you're 21 to get in, or Royal IBM Cafe, where you have to have a laptop to get in. Or Royal IV Cafe, where they impregnate you. It's a very interesting cute and sleepy Boba place with spectacular decor and pretty decent drinks. Certainly if their decor was normal, they'd get 4 stars for the drinks, factoring in that they're family owned, but when you include all these adorable creatures lying around (see the pix) and that we made great memories here on our first evening together after a long time... it has to get 5 stars. Nothing blew us away except for the wonderful decor and stuffed animals that were here - we really enjoyed our little bit of time here and Barbie looked very very good, and that's a massive understatement. Friendly service too - 5 stars. So I first came here with that girl (BARBIE) Who wants to turn ME from a HE to a SHE It won't be FREE but she's covering the FEE And at least she says I can keep my D She's pretty insistent so I can't DISAGREE She wants all the boys to hit on ME And when I get naked, say "O M G" Before re-enacting my adult DVD I have nothing to base this on, unlike FLEA But she's my princess, and I need to PEE Especially after a drink of Boba TEA From the place that's named after ROYALTY Or is it named after computer TECHNOLOGY I don't know but anyway, as you'll SEE The clientele here are BOURGEOISIE And they consume more sugar than the Dallas PD But when it comes to Boba, I've earned my DEGREE And you need to come and try it at the ROYAL I.T. WHAT

Veronica R.

Yelp
We were trying to find some taiwanese shaved ice and ended up here. They didn't have it, but we got some nice refreshing drinks instead. I really enjoyed the sparkling water they made me. It had a nice flavor without being overly sweet.

Sara J.

Yelp
First time here and I'm honestly impressed. We got the shrimp pad see ew (hot) and the beef pad Thai (hot). Also got the lychee green tea. The noodles were delicious and aesthetically presented. The space was quiet, not too busy on Easter Sunday. Cozy spot to grab a meal. Clean and great service. Would definitely recommend. The food tasted authentic and I hope they get more business and recognition! Must try!

S J.

Yelp
First time ...will definitely not be the last time. Food and service excellent. Put this on your list of restaurants to eat. Restrooms were clean.

Nora M.

Yelp
The food is FIRE. The employees are supper nice too Sad they look the macaroons away tho

Yelp
I used to come here at least twice a week! But I've now found it to be a bit overpriced. Staff are very friendly, but aren't always the best trained so don't expect to get all your questions answered about the menu. I absolutely can not stand that they have a minimum card purchase. Must spend AT LEAST $8 in order to use card. Ridiculous if you're not buying food and just a drink I usually get the classic Royal milk tea with boba and custard. It's my favorite drink, but overpriced in my opinion. The serving size SEEMS large because they use tall+thin cups. Their Thai tea is also good. Their DIY poke is pretty good! 2, 3, 4 protein options ($9 - $13). You can't watch them make it to adjust the size of their portions. Their snow desserts are just ok, I tried their Taro Snow with mango and custard pudding and it was a fun treat but not something I'd get again. With Covid they only accept pick up order by phone and online order on their website, doordash, and ubereats. Call them when you reach, and walk to the door to grab your food from them outside.
google avatar

Michelle T.

Yelp
I love this place! I had been here a few times pre-COVID and had really enjoyed their poke bowls. The regular size is truly a much larger size than typical regular and lasts me 2 meals. The poke ingredients are fresh and delicious. They even take special care to slice the cumbers all fancy with ridges- a nice touch! I'm not so adventurous when it comes to drinks, so the only one that I've had was the pineapple smoothie which is absolutely amazing and has a rich smoothness that is oh-so-gratifying. They are not allowing dine in options, so I just called in my order from the parking lot and it was ready for pick up in about 10 minutes. I'm totally glad Royal I.T. is open for pick up and I'll definitely be back again soon. Really delicious offerings!

Jackie J.

Yelp
THE BEST BOBA AND THAI FOOD IN DALLAS! I've been enjoying boba and Thai food for over 15 years from all over- San Antonio, Dallas, Houston, Austin, etc. this place is amazing! They have a case of fresh fruit to make the smoothies wuth and the traditional Thai tea with boba is amazing! Wish I could give them 10 stars!! We had: pad woon sen, man berry smoothie add boba, peach smoothie with boba, Thai tea with milk and boba. AMAZING!!
google avatar

Jorena L.

Yelp
Way too many things on the menu. This cafe has every trendy Asian food you can think of. You name it, they have it. Unfortunately, that means they aren't especially good at any one thing. Pretty big cafe and looks like a good study space. The $8 credit card minimum is annoying. They need a smaller size for the milk tea. I had the matcha red bean milk tea and added boba. The mouth feel was super powdery and rough. Taste was pretty strong matcha and sweet. Boba was nice and chewy. Rolled ice cream: presentation was cute. Ice cream was delicious. If you come here, they're bound to have something you want I guess.
