Gold-Covered Steaks From a Salt Bae Protégé Have Landed in New Orleans | Eater New Orleans

"Moving from Pythian Market to a Magazine Street storefront in the same building as Levee Bakery, Moon Garden serves bubble tea (hot or cold) in flavors like mango vanilla, honeydew, and red bean, smoothies, fruit and brewed teas, and creative boba options including square tapioca jelly, crystal konjac boba, popping boba, and boba ice cream bars with three sweetness levels, while adding charcuterie, all-day brunch, and grab-and-go sandwiches." - Clair Lorell

Two New Bubble Tea Shops Opening in New Orleans - Eater New Orleans

"Moon Garden is also forthcoming, opening in downtown food hall Pythian Market in August. The cafe's been popping up around town for a month or two with a menu similarly devoted to specialty drinks. There are sections for hot or cold bubble tea in flavors like mango vanilla, honeydew, and red bean; smoothies; fruit teas; and brewed teas. Customers can top drinks with boba jelly, made from tapioca but often in a square shape, crystal boba, made from konjac, regular bursting/popping boba, and most excitingly, boba ice cream bars, which come in three sweetness levels. At Pythian, the food hall stall will add food, 'bubble tea and charcuterie,' the cafe says, serving charcuterie boards and grab-and-go sandwiches and salads. Moon Garden Cafe at Pythian Market (234 Loyola Ave.) will be open Tuesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Stay tuned for Feng Cha Magazine opening information." - Clair Lorell

Reviews are personal opinions, so I am going to leave that for myself and 3 others I was with. Customer Service was just fine. The boba (chewy tapioca) itself was great. The drinks, even with "Less Sugar," were coyingly sweet. I mean really sweet. We asked for Lychee Jelly in some of the drinks put instead received popping boba (which is not the same and two of us can't stand). It was an online order. There is an option for Extra Tapioca, but I assumed (sorry for that) that boba already came in it IF the option was for extra. And it did come in one of the drinks but not all...super weird. ONE drink was supposed to be blended and was just iced. Not a great experience. We couldn't drink our drinks. But great chewy boba and nice people.

Magnificent!! The teas we ordered—mango and blueberry lavender—were outstanding, with just the right amount of sweet goodness. We also tried the salmon sandwich—OMG, it was seasoned to perfection! The pesto mozzarella sandwich was equally amazing. This place is a true gem. The only thing that could make it better would be some indoor seating.

Literally the best fruit tea drinks in the city, try watermelon. It really is a hidden gem. I had the pleasure of renting out the space for senior prom for my daughter's school, it's a small class but everything was perfect. It was so easy to work with the owners they are extremely accommodating, and everything is fairly priced. I suggest using them as a event space for a small event. I will definitely use them again for a event!

Amazing strawberry cheesecake boba tea! Piña colada boba tea was a bit sweet for *my* taste, but overall lovely service and yummy treats. 😁

I ordered salmich which comes with chips & drink ($15.50), but I replaced the drink w/Mango Lychee Tea passion fruit jellies toppings ($26). That was a bit pricey imo. The salmich was good, chips Mesquite Zappos bbq nothing special, tea was good.

The strawberry matcha is the best I’ve ever tasted here! The strawberries are still a little bit tart with a good level of sweetness to balance everything perfectly! I wish I could give them more than 5 stars

Dropped by and I ordered the rose pomegranate at 50% sweet, it was refreshing and delicious. I recommend trying that drink, just fyi I think 50% is plenty sweet. I think it might be too sweet if it was regular.

Super cute spot a little off magazine so sitting outside was very chill! I got a hot sandwich and the Vietnamese iced coffee and both were excellent, sandwich is definitely a meal. Great service, would be a good spot to spend an afternoon.
