Really cute shop, I had a fun time browsing the trinkets & home decor. As for the drinks, they were okay. We ordered— • lavender matcha $7 • iced black tea $7 • matcha donut • Yuzu strawberry specialty drink $7 I LOVED the Yuzu Strawberry drink!! It had such a fun flavor and I wish I had gotten that instead. The donut was also big and very delicious. The matcha was OK, I didn’t find it to be anything special. The only concern I had is that the plain iced black tea was overpriced in my opinion. I do not think that all iced drinks should be based at $7. The plain black tea definitely is not comparable to the specialty strawberry yuzu. The owner did approach us at the end of our visit and asked for some feedback which caught me by surprise. I’ll give the shop the benefit of the doubt though since they recently opened and are trying to figure things out! Overall, good addition to the city

Thoughtfully designed interior with a curated selection of Japanese and Korean stationery, ceramics, skincare, etc. The cafe was a bit slow so I recommend ordering first and browsing the store while you wait. There is plenty of seating available. Matcha donut - fantastic! Perfect texture. Black sesame latte - wish the black sesame flavor was more pronounced. Overall a great addition to Uptown!

If you like boba and cute things then this is the place for you. It’s also a quiet place to enjoy a snack or catchup with friends. They do have matcha, you betcha! There’s so much to look at that it’s worth the trip! Parking is a challenge and they only had one counter person at the food station taking orders and preparing them so be patient.

This place is a super cute new place that has a fun shop inside carrying a variety of items! There were quite a few out of stock items; just empty boxes of items they did have. It is also a tea/coffee shop that serves some donuts and pastries as well! I liked the concept a lot! They had a few Asian inspired items which was really fun! There was plenty of seating and the whole place was quite spacious. I ordered the hot lavender matcha. It was ok. There wasn’t much lavender, mainly matcha. The matcha had a good flavor, I just wanted a little more lavender forward flavor.

I love everything about this place! The interior is beautiful and thoughtfully designed. Their home goods and Kawaii items are amazing. I loved my matcha donut and black sesame latte. So, so good!!

Moona Moono is a wonderful addition to our neighborhood. Do not sleep on this place! It’s a delightful and beautifully designed space with delicious drinks, treats, and beautiful gifts and objects. The strawberry matcha and black sesame lattes are my two favorites so far, and the donuts from Bogarts are fantastic. I’m excited to try out more of the Korean skin care products, and love the masks and toner so far. There is a good amount of seating for different group sizes for meeting up or doing some work. A stop at Moona is definitely going to be a new addition to our weekly routine!

Wonderful little coffee shop that also sells fun home goods/trinkets/things you can’t find anywhere else. I had the Black Sesame Latte and it was delicious. Great vibe, plenty of space to sit and work or relax. What a fantastic addition to Uptown!

started my vist with an iced vanilla matcha. matcha was the perfect color green. i instantly knew it was going to be good and it absolutely was! 💚 the barista offered me some of her favorite options and i definitely want to come back and try some other items. i love all the natural light that was coming in the cafe. so many fun items to look at and next time i need stationary im definitely coming here it was all SOOO CUTE! also, had great little room for seating. not very big but had outlets. would definitely considering studying here.

Checked out Moona Moono for the first time yesterday and loved every bit of it! It has such a bright energy when you walk into it. I think one of the owners or managers came around greeting everyone and asking how we were which was so sweet and nice. The service was also quick and there were plenty of options to choose from - matcha, coffee, and lemonade. I enjoyed browsing all the items and got some KBeauty skincare to take home! I'm so glad I have another place to get the sunscreen I use because sometimes it can be hard to get at other places. I will definitely be back and cannot wait to see this cafe thrive in Uptown!

Super cute place! They have a shop with different stationary, skincare and home goods items. Lots of cute things to look at before you get your coffee. My husband and I brought some journal items and had plenty of space to set up, enjoy our coffee and journal for a bit. Workers were nice, greeted us when we came in and when we left. We both got a vanilla hot latte and it was good. Super cute place, can't wait to go back!

Moona Moono is a cute and modern cafe and store selling a variety of Asian products, coffee, tea, and pastries. It is light and open inside with a lot of wood accents. It also has a peaceful vibe to it. Upon entering, one walks into the store where there are varieties of Asian skincare products, kitchen products, snacks, cute stuffed animals, stationery, and more. At the back is a coffee and tea bar with a display case of pastries and some tables in front. To the right of the store, there is a nice space with tables for hanging out, working, or studying. I ordered the Black Sesame Latte and purchased a coaster and some cute dog-shaped paperclips. The latte came out quickly. It is one of the best Black Sesame Lattes I have had. It is smooth and creamy. The black sesame flavor comes through in the cold foam and the foam added a nice texture to the drink. Overall, giving Moona Moono a 5/5. It is a unique shop to find cute (but functional!) things. The staff and friendly, and the space is great for studying or working. Would highly recommend to others and would definitely come back to try other drinks and the pastries.

Went to this super cute Korean cafe and loved the cozy, aesthetic vibe! It's beautifully curated with unique dishware, candles, Korean skincare, and snacks -- such a fun place to browse. I was excited to try the matcha strawberry drink, but it was just okay. The coffee was good though! The space looks perfect for studying or a casual date -- calm, cozy, and inviting. Plus, so many cute things to check out while you're there. I'll definitely be back to try more!

Here's what I'll say - they serve a very earthy matcha. I honestly love it just the way it is. I got the strawberry matcha with oat milk and I think it had the perfect balance. At the same time, I would suggest offering a maple syrup/agave sweetener option for the average person with a sweet tooth. I love the location and street parking that's available. All drinks can be paired with an array of croissants from Marc Hue (iykyk). The staff members were so cool and friendly. Highly recommend!!

Such a fun new spot! I believe this used to be paper source and it's such a nice shop/coffee shop. Tons of natural lighting and the drinks options are super fun along with the pastries. I got the blueberry matcha but be warned there are small blueberry pieces in it so it gets stuck in your teeth haha! Everything was delicious and there's free parking a few blocks up in the residential neighborhood area. I'm excited to go back and try the strawberry matcha!

I got the lavender matcha and it was $8.72. It was a decent matcha latte but lacked flavor. I am not a fan of the matcha brand and I think it was too diluted with milk. The lavender flavor was pretty good. They offer almond and oat milk alternatives. The store part of Moona Moono was very cute! Nice to know that you can get Hirono blind boxes here, with a small assortment of stationary, k-beauty, household items, and more. There is also quite a bit of seating but on a Friday afternoon, getting a spot to sit and do work was a little challenging. I also tried a friends dalgona latte. Again it was okay, but nothing special. It's a cute place and very aesthetic, but I probably won't come back (unless I want a blind box).

Super cute, fresh, clean little spot! Didn't know what to expect but it's open and so clean.. not too cluttered. There is a lot of seating to just sit and chill or to get work done. There are also a bunch of cute lil knick knacks to get too! I got the strawberry matcha with oat milk..omg. the strawberry was like a fresh strawberry preserve or pulverized.. not too sweet and the matcha was just so delicious. Will be back!

Wow what a lovely place! Was driving by and noticed a new place. I went inside and I ordered their iced matcha with oatmilk and blended fresh strawberries. It was truly amazing taste! I tried their matcha brown sugar butter donut too but I could not finish it all because of the heavy amount of dairy. The girl working there was very pleasant and she was the only staff. No line. I love how they sell Korean beauty products because I will come back to purchase them.

A very cute Asian coffee shop general store that has come to uptown. they have all sorts of Asian K beauty Korean toys and snacks. as well as coffee, Boba tea, and Matcha. The natural lighting is beautiful here. I went to the grand opening and it was very busy. I had no idea that paper source was no longer there until someone told me. But I'm glad to see something in its place. The staff was friendly and helpful. I the because of the long line. I would suggest going during the week at least in the beginning looking for something more quiet.

This cute Korean cafe not only serves incredible matcha drinks but also doubles as a boutique for Korean skincare, home goods, and fun little gifts perfect for treating yourself or picking something up for friends and family. The vibe here is super chill and welcoming, with plenty of seating if you're planning to hang out, study, or get some work done. They even have blind boxes for a little extra fun while you wait! We tried the strawberry matcha and blueberry matcha, and both were absolutely delicious perfectly balanced, not overly sweet, and made just the way we liked. The staff is so friendly and attentive, and the overall atmosphere is just chef's kiss. Highly recommend if you're a matcha lover or just looking for a cute cafe to relax in.

Finally got to check out Moona Moono on this wonderful sunny day! I got the strawberry matcha on the more strawberry side with oat milk and a matcha doughnut. The strawberry matcha was okay, when I sip on the strawberry portion it tastes great however when I am drinking just the matcha it does taste a little bland. I am not someone who has a hard time with pure matcha but I do think this tasted a bit bland. I think the addition of some honey would do the trick. The doughnuts were fabulous and fresh! They were soft and chewy and the matcha flavor was good however it did not stand out to me. Overall I love the concept of the cafe with Korean makeup and skincare products and other Korean brand items available for purchase. This would be a perfect place to study or enjoy a sweet treat with friends!

Cute shop but drink is just normal. I ordered a black sesame latte highly recommend for anyone who loves earthy, subtle flavors. I just wish the black sesame flavor came through more strongly too much milk

I love the space! The storefront is super cute and lots of cute products. I was disappointed at the drinks however. I got the strawberry matcha with boba, and the boba was under cook and hard. The drink itself was okay. My partner got the daltons latte and it was also just okay. I do have high hopes for this place and I thought that maybe I came in a bad day, but overall great space, drinks are just okay.

Super cute cafe with great matcha options! I tried the strawberry matcha latte and it was great and not too sweet, made with real strawberry purée. My friends lavender matcha was to die for as well! We also didn't know that the cafe had a little store and had fun shopping around before taking a walk around the lake. I will definitely be back to try the black sesame latte and grab more matcha!

My friend and me wanted to check the place out post grand opening after the crowd died down because we were really interested in the shop portion (k beauty, stationary, blind boxes, and home items). We also grabbed some strawberry matcha + black sesame lattes. We were pleasantly surprised that the sesame latte came with black sesame cream on top and it was our favorite of the two drinks. There's street parking a few streets over from the place that's free. Owner was super friendly and they're very active on instagram on when blind boxes are stocked up (they added some popmart recently)!

I was sad when Papersource left the Uptown area and was worried It was going to be sitting empty like some of the surrounding business fronts. When I found out that Moona Moono was taking over the space and when I learned what it would be turned into, I was beyond excited. I followed them instantly and was anticipating the day they opened. We went the day before their actual grand opening and took a peek. The decor is simple and gorgeous. I love the vibe they were going for! It feels so clean and... Airy? I was a little surprised there wasn't more in the store but it also was a soft opening so it kinda made sense. I was so so so excited to find out that they had a pretty decent selection of Korean skin care there! It is a little pricier than ordering it online but the convenience is amazing and totally worth it in my opinion. I loved that she had little informational signs around the area for people who were new to it. I really hope in the future it expands and maybe they bring makeup in as well! They had a small display of stationary things and I was a little underwhelmed but I have a feeling as they get more comfortable it'll expand. The houseware section was also pretty limited but I loved the beautiful minimalistic bowls/plates they had. In my opinion they were a fair price as well. The toy section was so cute. They had a great selection of blind boxes! It was hard not to buy all of them lol. Lastly we went to the cafe to try it out. The staff was friendly and doing very well! We got the Dalgona Latte and the Strawberry Matcha. Both were great! I loved the tart strawberries at the bottom of the drink and I felt like it had a perfect matcha taste. The Dalgona latte is definitely sweet but if you like that (which we def do) it's really yummy!! I hope in the future they come out with more fun specialty drinks!! I would come here all the time to try out every new flavor. There is a decently sized cafe area where you can sit and hang out. I would love to come here and do homework or read! The owner was extremely friendly and personable! We really enjoyed talking to her. Overall I think this is a place I will be visiting FREQUENTLY! I hope they do well and stay in Uptown!!! I love supporting a small asian owned business. I'm so so happy we have something like this here now! I think their amount of stock is due to just opening and I hope she grows the collection of items in the future!

Moona Moono is a cute cafe offering drinks, delicious donuts, and Asian goods. I came here with a group of friends on opening day as we were excited to see it opening in Uptown area! I tried the Yuzu Tea, Matcha Butter Donut, and Yuzu Poppyseed donut. The donuts were magical - my favorite part of the visit! The matcha and yuzu flavors matched perfectly with Bogarts already great recipes. The Yuzu Tea was a major let down though. To charge so much money for what was obviously just a spoonful of ginger lemon honey and water felt like a joke to me! They ran out of matcha for matcha drinks unfortunately, so I can't speak to the quality of those. My partner also thought his Dalgona latte wasn't great. They may have just been overwhelmed with the massive line. As for aesthetics, the space is calming and there is a small area for sitting that gets plenty of sunlight. On a not so busy day I think it would be a great place to relax and treat yourself to a surprise box or drink and pastry and read for a bit. The staff was so nice and patient. You could tell they're very happy to see such a big turnout! Street parking was plentiful and my whole friend group was able to find a spot despite how busy it was! Will come back again one day to try their matcha drinks, hopefully will be better than the Yuzu Tea!

Absolutely amazing ambiance. One of my favorite coffee shops to sit down, get some work done and enjoy some coffee. A slightly larger menu would be appreciated, especially on the food side, but it certainly doesn't take away from the experience by any means. Highly recommend.

Went to their opening and it was super packed. Thankfully there are tables and displays of blind boxes, kids coloring books and toys, stationary, Korean skincare, ceramics and other various goods to look at while waiting. They ran out of matcha right before I ordered and I also got the last matcha brown sugar donut that they have with a bogarts partnership. I ordered the dalgona latte and it was alright, but wasn't as sweet as I thought it would be. The dalgona cream on top was super thick and fluffy and tasted decent mixed into the drink. It isn't nearly as sweet as the dalgona that was popular during covid so don't expect that if you order it. My friend ordered the yuzu honey drink which was pretty steep in cost for tasting like diluted lemonade with a scoop yuzu jelly. The staff was super kind and patient despite the huge crowd. I'm excited to see how they do after such a busy opening!

Place is adorable but the matcha tastes terrible. Tried really hard to enjoy it but it's very diluted and I taste mostly milk rather than matcha. The matcha also doesn't taste authentic. I'm hoping the coffee will taste better my next visit.

The lady was very nice but the drink was 8 dollars and wasn't very well made (taste like sparkling water and chopped up strawberry's )and there was only 1 size. I usually go to Nico boba and they are cheaper and have different sizes . Way too much and the drink isn't very good . For 8.50?!? Isnt this a new business let's start at 6 or even 7. I also didn't like how there was no one at the front. If I wanted to buy something would the lady in the drink area ring it for me ? Felt very empty and dull. The cup will not stop spilling !! And doesn't have a boba lid. The lady was very sweet but I wish she told me if there was an up charge .. But I'm glad I went so I could lower my expectations.

Moona Moono made a Matcha girl out of me! I've always been a bit iffy on matcha but the owner took the time to talk me through the options and tell me about their homemade syrups (which are also to die for delicious) and I am totally hooked. Hands down the best matcha I've had. The atmosphere and thoughtfully chosen merchandise is an added bonus, such as cute space, but seriously go get yourself a matcha!

Had a great time on their opening day! Staff were knowledgeable and friendly (even in the chaos of the crowd). The space is set up beautifully and the shop had such a nice selection. I can see this being a nice place to get work done once the crowd calms down a little bit.
