I’ve been to this location several times, and they consistently deliver. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting and with the newly remodeled bar, it’s the perfect spot to hang out and sip on something good. Their breakfast selection is solid. I always go for the avocado toast, it’s a favorite of mine, especially because they bake their own bread. It’s so fresh and flavorful! This time, I also tried the seasonal banana matcha latte. It was a bit on the sweet side for me, but still enjoyable. My boyfriend ordered the buttermilk biscuit & egg sandwich and a vanilla latte both were a hit. They also have an impressive coffee selection and several locations to choose from, which is a bonus. The staff is always friendly and efficient, making the experience even better. We love coming here, but a quick pro tip: try to avoid Sundays if you’re looking for a peaceful coffee moment. They share a door with the church next door, and once that door opens, brace yourself for a flood of people. Still love this place but not when I’m sipping in a sea of chaos. Lol.

1. The coffee was well-crafted, and I can definitely taste the note of banana! 2. The spot has fun casual vibes with a spacious interior! 3. The staff was friendly and timely with my order! Note: There is free WiFi, and the password is on the receipt! Photo: Banana Float

Nice place. Next door to church. Parking was not easy. Cashier greeted me, was friendly and helpful. Whoever had breaked cashier while I was placing my order and coffee maker were not all that courteous and sort. My cappuccino was not that tasty small and mostly frother milk. House decaf was good. My avocado toast was BOMB dot com. Super tasty and perfect amount. Seating inside and outside was nice. I saw seating upstairs but was not able to see how to get upstairs. Definitely would come back for house decaf and avocado toast

if you’re a coffee connoisseur, you’re going to LOVE this spot. I happened to stumble on it as I was passing through Cypress—is it ironic it’s next to calvary church, I think not! more like meant to be. 7 star, the taste of this bean is magnificent!! order: half sweet churro latte & deluxe avo toast 🌟

Backstory: I first learned of Moon Goat when my husband was hospitalized at UCI Medical Center in the trauma unit. Many cups of coffee were consumed and UCI happened to have Moon Goat in their cafeteria, a welcome surprise from vending machine coffee or Starbucks. Their blue cups were a source of comfort during our stay at UCI and the last thing we drank while leaving the hospital. Fast forward to today, I drove in to attend a service at Calvary Chapel Westgrove and next to the church was Moon Goat. I came in after the service and immediately asked the workers which of their beans were used at UCI, explaining my story and perhaps getting a tad emotional over it! I ended up purchasing two bags (pictured), a 16 oz cup of their seasonal drip coffee, and a promise to return to a local business that is close to my home. Moon Goat, your partnership with UCI was a smart move! As a family member of a patient at UCI, you did us a solid. We made it through difficult days with your coffee. I promise you that our family isn’t the only one that relies on your coffee to get through some tough times. You now have a customer for life.

I saw this place while visiting a friend and decided to try it out. It’s a fairly big coffee shop/cafe with comparable seating both indoor and outdoor. It’s attached to the Calvary Chapel in Garden Grove, so plenty of parking available. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about their items, even offering drink and food suggestions. I ordered their signature Churro Latte that has house made dulce de leche, vanula and cinnamon. It definitely taste like a light churro, not overly sweet. Great spot, would definitely come back soon.

Google
It’s a really cool spot with a cool atmosphere. Came here after reading all the good reviews ! Really spacious indoor and outside seating ! Really wanted to like this place . The service and vibe are cool . The food looked good when looking at other peoples plates lol we ordered a flat white and churro latte with a croissant and koign Aman .. it as mediocre at best . Nothing stood out the coffee was weak and the pastries tasted grocery store bought .. too bad really wanted a new spot - don’t think this would be it but a lot of other people seem to love it !

Google
Cute spot with delicious coffee and full food menu with bagel sandwhiches and overnight oats. We had the latter which was yummy and the moon goat on focaccia bread. There is a nice outdoor patio with shade as well as plenty of seating inside. We came on a Sunday and it was nearly full, I think due to the adjacent church getting out.

Yelp
Continuing my quest for great coffee this summer I have stopped here three times which is a key indicator that this place is AMAZING! This place is now one of my two go to coffee shops near me. They have a great selection and i must say their banana latte (I know who thought bananas and coffee were a match made in heaven) is a home run. Their breakfast options are excellent - especially any of their super flaky croissants. Their logo is so cool i actually bought their t-shirt of a goat in a Nasa space suit drinking coffee. Innovation from their service to their coffee, from their food to their merch. This place is deserving of your time!

Yelp
My new favorite drink is the iced Toasted Matcha with hojicha. The aroma was bold, like coffee. I'm not a coffee drinker, and I like my tea strong. I substituted oat milk and it balanced the tea out, making it smooth and not bitter at all. They also have cafe style food options and sweets. The employees were friendly and working hard behind the counter to get orders out. Their indoor and outdoor patio space is inviting and spacious.

Yelp
Cool coffee place with plenty of seating and parking. Be aware of church service times as that's when the wave of crowds come and go. All staff I had encountered were very nice. Food and drink came out pretty quickly despite how busy it was. Banana matcha here is one of the best in OC in my opinion. The banana flavor is really authentic and the drink itself is not too sweet. I got one of their fancy avo toasts and it was fireeeee. Just the perfect balance of savoriness. This place is rather pricey, so I don't see myself coming here a lot, but I would still recommend friends to come try this place.

Yelp
This is a wonderful place to come and enjoy a fantastic variety of coffee. I had an interesting combination of an iced americano but with sparkling water. It was excellent! There's ample space for sitting, the only thing is do be aware that this place gets packed on the weekends. I think they're next to a chapel so they got a crowd after services.

Yelp
Nice atmosphere and super friendly, helpful staff! Loved the goat logo Great indoor space + chill outdoor vibes. Heads-up: they don't take cash They have some baked treats but I only tried Coffee, which was actually pretty good

Yelp
4/5 Hot chocolate with almond milk. Chocolate was creamy and tasted like dark chocolate which I prefer to milk. It was served on the warmer side. And while I'm happy not to burn my tongue it got cool fairly quick 3/5 Buttermilk biscuit egg bacon and cheddar sandwich. The biscuit on its own was great and the bacon on its own was great but as a sandwich it was hard to eat as a whole so I ended up having to eat a "deconstructed" breakfast sandwich 5/5 customer service the staff was so friendly and nice and the service was excellent

Yelp
I LOVE MOONGOAT. They might be one of the best roasters in Socal. They have amazing single origin bean selections. I was hyped to be able to visit this location. There is so much space inside to work, with other people, comfortably in lounge chairs, or on tables as well. Upstairs area is cool too! I love their americano with the bubbly water, it's so good. Unique! Their buttermilk biscuits were TOO good. The honey butter i did expect them to whip together and not just have butter sliced into honey but you can't win them all. But it came out hot and so so moist. Amazing biscuit. The service is personal and friendly!

Coffee Thursday ..

Yelp
Moongoat Coffee - Garden Grove, CA This week we are covering Moongoat Coffee, where we tried a couple of their signature drinks and some breakfast options. This coffee shop was a solid experience. Iced Churro Latte (with oat milk) This drink combines their house espresso with homemade dulce de leche, vanilla, cinnamon, and milk. After the first sip, the cinnamon is the bold and initial taste. It was like sipping an horchata with a kick of espresso. The dulce de leche adds a subtle and perfectly balanced caramelized sweetness. The drink still contains a nice coffee flavor that we anticipated. This drink is a customer favorite! Iced Mocha Latte (with oat milk) Made with their house espresso, milk, and single-origin Ghanaian chocolate. This latte packs a bitter taste from the rich dark chocolate. The texture of the coffee is creamy, mixed with a ganache, adding a thick texture. Due to the authentic chocolate and coffee, this drink is bitter and not very sweet. Definitely worth getting! Avocado Toast Fresh, simple, and well seasoned. This toast is not very unique, but still enjoyable and a safe option if you're looking for a delicious breakfast. Buttermilk Biscuit with Butter & Jam We were surprised that something so simple could steal the show. This biscuit is buttery, tender, and soft, practically melting in your mouth. Add the jam and butter for a sweet, savory perfection. Digital ordering made things easy and smooth, especially if you're on the go. Moongoat has a large and inviting space, with a mezzanine that could be perfect for studying, working, or just hanging out. They offer a wide range of drink options and appear to roast their own beans! Definitely a spot worth checking out if you're in the area. #MoongoatCoffee #GardenGroveEats #CoffeeLoversUnite #CoffeeThursday

Yelp
I finally was able to try this place! I love the (iced) Churro Latte! My friend tried the seasonal strawberry matcha latte (hot) and loved it too! Flavors were perfect not too sweet. The matcha was a bit overpriced for such a small cup though. Service was great. The barista/employees were friendly. Gave us suggestions as well. I saw they served food as well but I didn't get to try the food yet.

Yelp
TL;DR Lots of seating, awesome vibe. Interior: - SO much seating (indoors, outdoors, first floor) Service: - The staff is so cool, they all have crazy backstories - Usually pretty busy, but generally fast Food: - My personal fav is the grilled cheese - Most drinks are pretty good

Yelp
I absolutely loved this Moongoat location. The staff were so friendly and informative. I shared multiple conversations with people behind the counter and even one on her break. This spot is next to a large church but not at all affiliated with them. Parking can be tough on Sundays but manageable with street parking nearby.

Yelp
Im not sure what the hype is about this place. This is my 3rd time here with my fiancé (he likes this place but after this 3rd time ... not anymore) and I remember why it's been years since I came back. We only stopped by because it was on the way to the freeway. I don't like the roast they use for espresso in the lattes ... weak coffee Strength and body. I ordered an iced strawberry latte, they advertised the strawberry syrup was homemade but honestly it tasted really overly sweet and artificial to me. I even ordered it less sweet. I love strawberry lattes and order them wherever offered but this was the worst one I've had. The Asian guy on the morning of Saturday 4/27/25 acted kinda snooty for no reason. Didn't smile and seemed like he didn't wanna be there. The rest of the cafe seemed disorganized and messy.

Yelp
Visited this cafe for the first time with my sister and it was great!! The overall atmosphere was calm and very welcoming. There's definitely lots of space where you can do work and meet with friends (including an upstairs that's available to rent) I ordered the Hojichai latte (hot) and my sister got the Churro latte (?) in a matcha form and both drinks were really good :) We also both decided to get something to eat and it was very bread-heavy but delicious/filling!! I got the Garden Goat and she got the pizza pocket. Overall, it was a great experience with good service & i'll definitely come back again!

Yelp
Such a nice cozy place to come by with friends for a chat or to study. I will say that I was pretty disappointed with their matcha latte. Will definitely come back for a different drink next time.

Yelp
Cute coffee shop next to a church with great hours. I've been a couple times and always enjoyed my orders. Hojichai 9/10 - super good, the chai is sweet and the cinnamon is strong in this latte Toasted Matcha 10/10 - my favorite one, perfect flavor and no need to adjust anything Churro latte 8/10 - good but with no adjustments I think it's just a tad too sweet for my liking but it definitely tastes like a churro! Pizza pocket - 10/10 so yummy, tastes like a fancy hot pocket My boyfriend ordered the little flight and he enjoyed it! The service is great, all the baristas are kind and attentive. Plenty of parking and seating. They offered online ordering and they have a little kiosk which is super convenient!
google avatar

Ashley S.

Yelp
Plenty of space to hang with friends or get some work done! Service was great and I wouldn't mind stopping by for another chai and pastry. With such an unique mascot and name I had to stop by as part of my "30 before 30" challenge to go to 30 animal themed tea shops before I turn 30. As a Capricorn, this place seemed fitting!

Yelp
I want to like this spot because the workers are really friendly and the cafe itself has a great workspace. But the matcha here was quite disappointing. We got an iced matcha latte and a hot matcha latte and both had barely any matcha taste to it. The color was off and it tasted like just straight milk. We also got the avocado toast but they were out of eggs that day. The churro latte was good but it was too sweet for me. But my friend really liked it. Overall want super impressed with their menu items.

Yelp
A coffee shop that lives up to the expectation of "cozy" and "trendy." With wide, open space and courteous staff members, this place is great for studying and spending time with friends. Exterior: Located in an industrial part of town but has a large parking lot. Located next to a church and if you go closer to the afternoon/evening you should never have trouble finding parking. Interior: It includes a variety of seating such as a lounge area and loft for productive work. The types of seating range from bar seats, lounge chairs/couches to regular tables. You have the option for ordering at the kiosk machine or at the register. They do have free WiFi however be mindful of the limited outlets (come with charged devices). Bonus points for having a bathroom and water refill station! Food and Ordering: Beware if you want to order prepared food, they stop making at 6PM. I've ordered the Toasted Matcha with Oatmilk (provides a different and distinct taste compared to a regular matcha latte from other coffee shop chains (e.g., Starbucks)); Hulk Juice (deceiving name since it's a sweet-tasting matcha latte); and the Avocado Toast (it's different in terms of appearance and ingredient based on advertised photos). Stick to their drinks and you'll have a better experience. Note: Appreciative of the variety in bagels and sides. The options range from cream cheese (with different flavors), butter, and Jam.

Yelp
Breakfast biscuit w bacon - For sure get it with bacon. Biscuit was a lot bigger than I thought would be and I liked it more than the breakfast bagel. Breakfast bagel - The egg was weird but the bagel was crispy. Overall do like it but it was pretty dry. Churro latte - Was good and would get this again. The cinnamon added a nice touch

Yelp
What a fun coffee shop I stumbled upon. I tried. The mushroom coffee with their special Koatji milk and it was delicious. I also got a veggie sandwich that had eggplant and a creamy feta on fantastic bread. The prices are a little high, but the quality was worth it.

Yelp
Nice spacious coffee roaster. I'm a fan of Moongoat already but hadn't been to any of their locations other than the Olive Grove in Innovation Park (Irvine). My priorities are coffee, ambiance and food. There also has to be sufficient seating as well. I didn't try the food but this location hit all my other priorities. I always order a drip (light roast if available) and drink it black so we can taste the coffee. They happened to have a light roast (lemon rind and 2 other notes I don't recall). Service was fast and friendly. This location is adjacent to a Calvary Baptist Church which is a plus in my book.
google avatar

Rachel C.

Yelp
Cool space with yummy lattes. Big parking lot shared with the church next door. Lots of seating. Some outlets. Has outdoor space and upper level loft as well. Music was a bit distracting since it kept changing every 30 seconds for a period of time while I was here. There is only one restroom downstairs so be prepared to wait.

Yelp
Very cute and aesthetic coffee/tea study and hangout spot! There is a good selection of pastries and small bite options. Plenty of parking and lots of seating indoors (two stories), and outside on the patio. It was nice to come with a huge group of friends and still have our own little corner outside and not feel like we were crowding up the place. They had friendly staff who were very welcoming and happy to answer questions about the menu my first time there. Their drink menu has a variety of pour over coffee options for the coffee connoisseur, but also a good selection of handcrafted tea and coffee lattes. I got one of the seasonal specials- the Hojichai latte, essentially a masala chai latte with a hojicha shot. They make their own chai concentrate which I appreciate - good balance of sweet and spice. Will definitely be back to try more of their extensive menu!

Yelp
Definitely of the better coffee spots in the OC area. I first had Moon Goat from their cute, little drive-in booth near Newport Beach. I wasn't aware they had an actual storefront until I found this location. The ambiance, both indoor and outdoor, cultivates such a tranquil environment for one to have an interrupted study sesh, or simply hang out and catch up with good company. I'm a sucker for a honey oat latte and this was my favorite place to get that for the past year, so it devastates me to say that today's latte was very lackluster. It tasted like watered down milk with a splash of coffee, and the honey wasn't properly incorporated so it was just pooling at the bottom of the cup. I brought it up to the staff and they gladly made me a new one, which I really appreciated. But sadly it still tasted the same so I just accepted it as is. This was the first time I've encountered this issue, so perhaps the espresso machine was a little off today or something. Generally, their drinks are great, especially their pour overs with the cool beans. But overall, I'm still very fond of this place.

Sydney T.

Yelp
The environment is great for getting work done and they offer lots of seating. I think the little patio upstairs is always more quiet than the downstairs where more people go recreationally The only drink I've tried is the churro latte and it's awesome but lots of people like their cold brew. The food is really good and I like how it's pretty fresh. Even the prepackaged food in the refrigerated case is good. But the staff is honestly what makes the place. Even when they're busy, they take a genuine interest in their customers. I think it really sets them apart from other businesses because they're so focused on giving good service. Prices seem a little expensive but everything is getting expensive now so what can you do.

Yelp
I had a very special day as a cafe-hopper. I was recently put on to Moon Goat Coffee in Garden Grove, known across Orange County for its excellent coffee--and, as I discovered, its stellar MatchaBot matcha too. Let me just say: this place did not disappoint. I ordered an iced, unsweetened matcha latte with their "Koatji" (Koji Rice + Oat) milk, (unsweetened is a personal go-to so I can really taste the matcha) and it was a standout. Their ceremonial-grade matcha blended with Koatji's slow-crafted organic rice-oat milk, creating a flavor that was smooth, umami-rich, and deliciously vegetal with practically no astringency. A wonderful pair that compliments the matcha beautifully--no overpowering sweetness, just balance. While the Garden Grove location is still getting its final touches (some boxes around, and the seating area not quite finished), the space still felt cozy and inviting. There's even a lovely upstairs loft, though I did notice there wasn't an elevator--something to note for fellow disabled visitors so I was unable to enjoy the loft myself. The staff were kind and welcoming and I'm already looking forward to coming back once everything's complete and grabbing another a crafted coffee or another perfect matcha while I'm at it. (The 4/5 stars is based on accessibility. My drink as stated was amazing.)

Me Is K.

Yelp
Really nice place to study! Very ambient and has a nice space. However the matcha latte I tried was very very disappointing:( tastes like straight up milk... and my friend's drink (churro coffee) was just as bland and bad. I will not be coming back, but it's still a really nice place to lock in

Yelp
Obsessed with this place and sad that I don't live closer. To start, the staff (especially the guy in the kitchen) were great and so friendly. I loved chatting with the guy who made our lunch about the ingredients and taste combinations. The vibe of the coffee shop was definitely 'students on laptops' but I liked that there were lots of different parts of the shop to sit and eat/ drink in. We sat outside on the patio, which was cute, quiet and full of tweeting birds. The highlight was the food. Honestly, one of the best sandwiches I've had recently in the LA area! I had a focaccia with roasted vegetables. The veggies were cooked until they were gorgeously succulent and the bread was super fresh and tasty. Nothing was spared in pulling this meal together! My partner had something else and was equally impressed. He said the stand-out for him was their matcha latte, which was super tasty and well presented. I would love to go back to try something on their breakfast menu.
google avatar

Yelp
The menu on the TV was not updated, I wanted to try a seasonal drink advertised but it was discontinued already. I tried the Hojicha Latte and it was overpowered by all the sweetener added. The Matcha Latte was clumpy/grainy that you can see it in the picture. Surprised by my experience here, everyone always says decent things. ig: @cravingswithcat

Yelp
This coffee shop is super cute! I would definitely come back here again to study. There's a lounge area with couches on the first floor and also outdoor patio seatings. There's also a second level with more seatings. The shop is located next to a church I think, there's plenty of parking, but it did already feel pack even though I went on rainy weekday. The service is ok, it did take a bit longer for my stuff to come out. I got the roasted matcha and smoked salmon everything bagel. I will admit that it is a bit expensive compared to a lot of places. I believe it was $21 ish for 2 items. Roasted Matcha: this is basically a hojicha latte. The tea based is good, but slightly too on the milkier side. I still enjoyed it as it was perfectly sweetened Smoked Salmon bagel: I understand that cafes usually price these food expensive, but still $15 for this is a bit much. Firstly, the bagel was stale. The salmon was ok, def not smoked enough but that's fine. I enjoyed the pickle. I just would not get this again
google avatar

Yelp
Overall this place is a 4/5 Things I liked about this place: Nice variety of drinks Huge space inside Lots of parking Things I didn't like about this place: Came with my doggos and the only place we were allowed to sit was outdoors which is totally fine and understandable since they're also a food establishment but the wifi outdoors hardly worked. I was a little disappointed since I came to do work but had to use my own hotspot to get my work done. The staff was ok they weren't overly friendly or chatty with me just took my order, made it and that was that. The coffee was good and had me buzzing I got the shift change and my favorite drink was the rotating cold brew
google avatar

Yelp
TLDR... - menu choices/pricing: 3/5 (decent amount of fun drinks, but pricey) - Non coffee options: 4/5 (flavored/plain matcha, chai, brewed teas) - Seating/outlets: 5/5 (TONS of seating incl second story) - Parking: 5/5 (shopping center) - Restroom: one family - Water: water bottle FILLER (rare find!!) - Free WiFi: yep (fast) Came in on a Wednesday morning at 8, no line to order (but one formed right after me lol). The barista was super friendly and answered all my questions, ended up trying a warm cascara oat milk latte. The cascara is their house simple syrup with a smoky cherry flavor- FANTASTIC. The latte was yummy, lightly sweet and the cascara paired nicely w the oat milk. If you're looking for a place to study/work, this is IT. There's a lot of small tables on the first floor, some bar seating w an outlet, and a second story (loft) with 3 small tables, 2 sofa clumps and a huge table for working. Many tables have outlets too! Heads up, some days the loft is reserved for special events so check on that when you come in. Wasn't too crowded seating-wise on a weekday morning either.

Yelp
Me and my wife stopped by MoonGoat for a cup of coffee, and it's super cute inside. The space was definitely made for relaxing, hanging out, or studying. The drink came back well-made within 5 minutes, so we left happily but would also happily come back!

Yelp
Based on positive reviews, and with the closing of another favorite spot of mine, I gave MoonGoat a try and was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the mocha with a ham and cheese croissant. The family had a biscuit with honey butter (literally butter with honey atop) and a butter croissant. Everything was tasty, although a little pricey for the ham and cheese croissant at $9.50. The ambiance is that of a high end coffee shop with an outside dining area, several comfy couches and chairs to sit throughout, and a loft. There's ample standing room and several people on laptops giving this place a trendy coffee shop feel. Customer service was friendly and they took their time answering questions and even looking up allergen info. However, what took the longest was the food, which is odd given it takes no time to prepare a premade croissant. This is where they lose star. Despite everything being warmed, it was all cold. The ham and cheese was cold while the croissant itself was barely warmed. The butter croissant was also barely warmed, practically room temp, and my mocha was lukewarm at best. It wasn't that busy so I'm not sure what the excuse would be, but it was all off putting as I got everything as they put it on the counter. However everything was still delicious so I'll definitely be back to give them another shot. Well that's this critic's review.

Leilani P.

Yelp
this is attached to a church, but we ended up arriving around the time service was ending so parking wasn't too bad! There's seating downstairs and upstairs. If you plan on sitting upstairs, it may be difficult to hear your name being called when your food and drinks are done! Pretty spacious location as we had a pretty big group. I personally didn't enjoy my strawberry brulee latte, and thought my pizza pocket was just okay. it's fine if you're looking for a quick bite. service was good overall and the staff is super friendly! their matcha latte is pretty good though! - strawberry brulee latte - hulk juice - vanilla matcha latte - strawberry matcha latte - pizza pocket - breakfast bagel sandwich - croissant - dulce de leche iced latte

Yelp
Really good service but the coffee was so disappointing. I got a latte with almond milk and it was sour, it was giving cardboard. I usually come here for the orange juice, it's sourced from a local farm and so fresh.

Yelp
Really enjoyed the place, didn't know if they existed til now since it's located in small street in warehouse area. Very spacious and lot of tables, couches, upstairs, downstairs, indoor & outdoor for you to chill, work or doing your homework. I got espresso and it is very good plus abit hungry so they recommended avocado toasted which is very yummy. The staff are young but very friendly and knowledgeable with their stuffs. Will come back for more coffees & will try other foods for sure.

Yelp
drove to MoonGoat today looking for a place to do some work. their space is HUGE and there is plenty of seating downstairs, upstairs, and outside on the patio! the place itself has a lot of nice and modern decor too! music however could be turned down a bit since most people are working on their laptops. /-: hard to concentrate kinda for my food and drink, I got the smoked salmon bagel sandwich with a plain bagel, and the MaChaga latte (matcha and chaga mushrooms). the bagel was good, but it needed more salmon tbh on one of the bagel sides. price was eh, $14. the MaChaga was also good, it just needed a lot of added sweetener because it wasn't sweet by itself (I have a sweet tooth most of the time!!). service was good, there was only one guy working there initially but then someone came in so my food and drink came out in a timely manner for two people just working there.

Yelp
Stopped in today for an iced latte, was met with fast and friendly service. Cashier and barista were both very nice. Plenty of seating, indoors and outside at their semi covered patio. Clean restrooms, seating area looked clean too. Latte was great! I will definitely be back. Parking lot was PACKED because of the church next door, I don't recommend coming on a Sunday during church times, but there's a huge lot so I assume at other times it's probably pretty open!

Yelp
Got the matcha with almond milk and sweetened with sugar free vanilla. Did not enjoy this combination. But the seating was plentiful and the space was a good ambiance for meeting up with people. I would definitely give them another shot and try something else cus I don't fault them.

Yelp
Overall, MoonGoat is my go-to place to work from home, from *not* home. Between ample seating, ample outlets, ample parking, ICY AIR CONDITIONING, strong WiFi, and plenty of food & drink options... this is a reliable and GREAT pick to get some work done. Parking: A+ Shares a giant parking lot with a church! I haven't been here in a Sunday, but it doesn't get better than this. Wi-Fi: A Tons of people here, 30+ on WiFi, NO issues at all AC: A It's about 90 out and it's crispy and cold in here. If you're an anemic girly, maybe bring a crew neck to slip on. Seating: A Perfect blend of couch seating, table seating, bar seating, and patio seating. Enough room and diverse seating for those working solo AND those meeting up with friends. Outlets: B+ From where I'm sitting, I can see 5 outlets with 2 holes each. I assume at least 2 more between the loft and outdoor space. They could put power strips to increase the capacity, and avoid the "do you mind if I plug in for a second"? Coffee & Tea: A They have everything from espeso tonics, to cortados - matcha drinks and even COFFEE FLIGHTS. Warm and cold, something for everyone. Coffee itself is fantastic. Vibes: A- Music choice, great and not too loud. Decor, great but not too crowded, almost on the verge of feeling a bit empty but it's a loft so... More board games would be nice. No issues with staff, they seem to really like their job Food: TBD Will report back next time I'm in and try their food - because I WILL be back :)

Yelp
The cafe is a nice study spot but the matcha taste was very subtle and could've been stronger

Yelp
Moongoat Coffee is a cozy, popular chain of coffee shops - most are located in Orange County. I live much closer to their flagship location but I have a strong preference for this one. I was worried with its association with a church because I dislike coffee shops who front as places for people to preach their beliefs but thankfully this one is not associated with the church. The parking lot is very nice and spacious due to a shared parking lot though. I like this one in particular because the loft is a lovely space to study and get some work done. Their coffee is overall okay - I don't care for their vanilla syrup but the caramel and dulce de leche are fine. I also enjoy their Matcha Lattes and that they don't charge for Almond Milk. :) Service is quick and prompt - they're always ready to help you and answer your questions. I recommend ordering online, and trying to find a place to sit when you arrive. They take their time making drinks and food so just be prepared.

Yelp
I stumbled upon this spot when in the area for work. It's an industrial area of Garden Grove and I have been in the area not knowing it was there. They have a large selection of delicious foods, pastries, and delicious coffees. The variety makes it so you'll get to try something different or that you're craving. The service is great, people are friendly, they have all the suggestions. If you're looking to study there's a loft area upstairs and some tables around to get that work done! If you're in a rush and need to just hit the road? Mobile ordering is also available. You can beans by the bag to brew at home and some sick merch too! If you're in the area I highly recommend checking them out.

Yelp
This is the more steeper priced coffee places, so I'd expect the drinks to follow the same suit. I got the Matcha Latte with Cascara Syrup + sea salt cold foam and the Deluxe Avocado Toast. This is definitely one of the better Matchas I have had around the area. The cascara syrup gives it a unique sweetness and the cold foam was delightful. The toast is good, but again, $14 so it makes you question how worth it is. Flavor wise it met all expectations and I like the egg is more jammy than fully boiled. The bread they use is good and has a good thickness. The service is good, they made the drinks and food pretty quickly. The ambiance is nice in there, it's a good place to study if you want or to read a book. They have an upstairs loft as well. Free wifi too.
