The Hottest Cocktail Bars in San Diego, December 2024

"The newest addition to the Mission Bay Beach Club, Moonlight carries people from afternoon to evening. Housed in a silver trailer across the courtyard from Superbloom, right on Mission Bay, it offers beer, wine, boozy slushies on tap as well as a collection of classic cocktails. Co-work on the patio with ginger and rose spritz or catch up with friends at sunset with an island-spiced Old Fashioned." - Kelly Bone, Candice Woo

We got tickets to see William Green Clark, a country rock band with guest star country singer Erin Kinsey through Vettix. Note that this venue is standing room only except for a few tables. We got lucky, and another couple offered to share their table. We got the double smashed cheeseburger with fries to share and plain crispy wings served with celery & carrot sticks accompanied by ranch and buffalo sauce. Good portions. Reasonably priced. We had a round of drinks followed by water. The food came up promptly, and once done, it was cleared off quickly. So much so that my water was swiped when I turned my back! The bands were decent, but perhaps an addition of a soundboard could control the acoustics. Once the concert let out, it was confusing as to where the exit was. Two doors were guarded, pushing the flow of people towards the other exit, which was being used as an entrance only. It might have been intentional to persuade the crowd to stay and play some of the games or get additional beverages. Either way, it worked, and we got sidetracked by their dollar menu stand, which featured $1 hot dogs, $1 chips, and $5 mini pizzas. This place is in Pacific Beach (PB), so plan ahead for parking can be at a premium. Expect to pay for parking or have to walk a few blocks. Overall, we had fun, but this is a primarily 20-something crowd, so likely this will not be a return spot unless another good concert opportunity comes up!

Google
The bar tender was mad because I don't tip them. Ever waitress seem like they want a tips the wings was the best thing. But the other food were a small proteins. It's a good place to watch the 49ers games.

Definitely the best club I have ever been to! It was packed full of people, the environment was great, and the DJ was so fun. Tried to go somewhere else our second night in San Diego and just ended up coming back here!

Eric

Google
Nobody got mad at me or made fun of me for my horrible line dancing skills! It was my first time and I tried to get it, but the dances are actually pretty complicated and very fast paced. Not to mention literally every song has a different dance so that makes it entertaining. They also give you food tokens when you pay the $10 to enter. How cool is that?! You get two for Free: burrito, quesadilla, hot dog, chips. Nothing crazy good but they totally don’t have to do that but they do! Our party had a great time and we will be back for sure!

It was my first time at Moonshine Beach Bar, where I attended a Theo Katzman event after a friend invited me. The venue is cozy, clean, and offers plenty of activities even when there isn’t an event. We were fortunate to find parking right across the street. They have some great happy hour deals.

Google
The bouncer, Dylan, wouldn't let me in and was super rude even though this would be my first time at Moonshine. He said he would forcibly remove me from the line when I asked why. I asked for the manager, Cory who said he's not sure if I'm the guy they were thinking of. I left. Horrible experience.

Natalia Miller

Google
These bouncers are the most ridiculous unnecessarily rude people I've ever met in my life. They allowed 40 underage women in front of me to go into the bar, but didn't allow my friend when he brought one fireball shooter by accident and nicely handed over. Never go here it's a waste of time.

Moonshine Beach is a fun place to hang out. There are three areas: an indoor lounge with karaoke, a huge dance floor, and an outdoor area with TVs and outdoor games. Usually there is a cover charge (it was $10 when I went) and long lines late at night and on weekends. The bar/club is more of a country kick than the others. As far as the dance floor, not sure if the cover was worth it (usually I come to these bars to dance). I though it was a little too crowded. There's no capacity there; it was to the point where I was constantly being bumped and shoved around. It was almost like a hard rock concert. The play similar music to other clubs. At 1am they play trap/dubstep remixes of popular songs and everyone raves. I found it to be more fun out of the tight crowd, where I could actually move. Five 🌟s for the great vibes.

Yelp
Moonshine Beach is the real deal. I come here often and have the best time. Great drinks, killer sliders (seriously, try them), and they have free line dancing every Tuesday night--no cover, just good music and good vibes. Quick story, someone walking past me knocked my beer out of my hand and walked away. Before I could even process what happened, Dahlia, the manager, saw the whole thing happen from above and came right over. She was super cool about it and offered to replace my drink on the spot. That kind of service is rare--and honestly, she made my night. The bartenders are great, the energy is always high, and the food goes way beyond typical bar grub. Moonshine Beach has definitely earned a spot in my regular rotation.

Yelp
First time at Moonshine Beach to attend Ty Myers concert! Had an awesome time! Super impressed! The venue is clean and well maintained. The bouncers were friendly and did their jobs well and kept order but still let everyone have a good time! The lines to get in moved fast! Drinks were very reasonably priced and made well! They offered food but although I didn't eat friends did and said the food was good! The sound was excellent and I really enjoyed the concert! One big plus: bathrooms were really clean and monitored throughout the concert! I'll be back for sure!

Yelp
MOONSHINE BEACH @ PACIFIC BEACH One of my favorite spots to go out with my friends, the lines are always out the door, but it's worth the wait! It's a $10 fee on a weekend (+ Friday) and free during the week. There is free hot dog or burritos when you enter (the BEST part), and several parts in the place, there is also Karaoke, takes a while to get up there because it's first come first serve. The space where all the music is feels like a concert, it's huge and has lovely lights and a great atmosphere, sometimes it can get overheated. Overall, I'd come back here for the karaoke and hot dogs, it's the best that a bar/club can give you. Highly recommend stopping by.

Yelp
Tuesday night country line dancing with no cover fee! Beginner friendly--I stepped on so many shoes and no one yelled at me(,: Doors open at 8. Dance lessons are at 9PM, 10PM, and 11. For the rest of the time, it's an open floor with the title of the choreography shown on the back wall. If you know the choreo, then hit the dance floor with everyone else! If you don't, then learn or wait on the side. It surprisingly gets PACKED, but don't be shy. Everyone's there just to dance, no judgement! There's also a lot of bars to grab drinks from for some liquid courage!

Yelp
I have wanted to come to Moonshine Beach ever since my last San Diego trip, and this time, me and my friends stayed in Pacific Beach, so it was an easy walk! If you're into country music, this bar is perfect for you! They have a corner for karaoke, arcade stuff, line-dancing lessons, and a DJ late at night. My friends and I each ordered a bucket drink as well; I got the BRB! drink and loved it! I do wish they had a bit more alcohol in them, but it was still very good. Moonshine Beach even had a $1 menu that had things like pretzels, hot dogs, etc which was pretty cool if you're looking for food on a budget!

Yelp
My friend and I went there yesterday and the bouncer said I was "86'd". I asked why and he said I already knew. Then he said he was going to force me out of the line. I asked to speak to a manager, Cody, who came out and brought out a guy named Dylan who thought he would recognize me but didn't. They were being rude aggressive to the wrong guy the whole time. 0/5.

Yelp
Fun ambiance. They play country at the beginning of the night, and eventually play throwbacks/house as the night progresses. Perfect place to go out with a big group. Big stage with live performances and DJs (depends on the night.) Cover is typically $10. Make sure you get the free, food tokens when you pay for cover. 10/10 recommend!

Eli H.

Yelp
Charge a $10 cover when INSIDE and then took my friends actual ID never coming back. Actually ridiculous. Vick did not handle it well.

Elizabeth K.

Yelp
Jackson was so accommodating at the door! He truly went above and beyond to make our night fun and stress free. The music was great too and lots of people were dancing, with fun drinks, especially the buckets. But really Jackson was the highlight and the main reason we will be back!!!!

Yelp

Yelp
I come here for Salsa Bachata nights ( every so often). Security is on it. They are doing their job so well; At same time courteous and pleasant. Thank you. You deserve acknowledgment. A blonde young man in particular; great job.

Josh H.

Yelp
My friends and I went to go see ty myers and was very crowded and we couldn't breath so my friend passed out due to medical issues. Another girl passed out right after my friend and was let back in. They told my friend he wasn't allowed back in due to policy but let the other girl back in right after. They kicked us out and wouldn't let us back in. I wouldn't want to let gender or race be brought but i feel like it was a big role.

Yelp
So this happened during the football season last year I found this in my notes because I told some friends about the experience and figured I should post it here, I got to the bar early for the 49ers game, got my table, ate some food. Partway through the first quarter manager says the table was supposed to be reserved and tries kicking me and my girlfriend off the table, His offers went from Buy your next round of drinks Buy the rest of your food and drinks for the game (I already paid for food and ate so this offer was dumb) third offer was Now here's a small table off to the side (one of the small barrels) I Had to argue hard just for a table Then he didn't even let me keep the high chairs, Gave us shorter stools After being unhappy with the lack of a view I said can I just be reimbursed and we can leave He says yes, thennnn says actually no I gave you the "vip experience" and why should we pay you for food you already ate, you didn't pay for that table Like bro NOBODY paid for the table, those reserved tables are friends of the owner. I'm not sure how getting kicked off your table for a terrible view is a "VIP experience" seems like the people that took the table I was at got the VIP experience. After arguing with him he got his boss and he was willing to cover the cost of the food we ate there and gave us some gift certificates or whatever for $50 which was fine, I thought I'd go back and use them but I was so unhappy about what happened I never went back. Also after asking some questions it seems like those front tables (not the one I was sitting at) are always reserved for friends of the owner and they give it some little club name that no one is allowed in, it's just friends of staff or whatever, sucks that no one can get those tables because I would've been happy to pay to reserve one, the people that always sit at them are so damn tall you'll never really have a good view watching the game over there. While the atmosphere there is cool for the 49ers games I wouldn't recommend because you just can't get a good view

Yelp
Great place to see concerts, very intimate and good sound! All the staff is very nice and made it a great experience for my friends and I.

Yelp
Never in my whole life have I left a yelp review. I have never had such an awful encounter with someone. The female bouncer or the girl who took our cover Friday the 13th was genuinelyyyyyy the nastiest and rudest girl I have ever encountered. My friends and I were in genuine shock. I went to hold the payment device (with one hand) to add a bigger tip (which I honestly shouldn't have cause what) . She proceeded to legitimately scream in my face saying "DO YOU JUST GRAB SHIT OUT OF PEOPLES HAND ALL THE TIME OR WHAT BITCH". I apologized because I didn't mean to set this human off or steal a bars payment device?????? I could do a total of zero things with that toast device, mind you. She then proceeded to talk shit about me to my friend RIGHT in front of me, asking her "does this bitch always grab people's shit and you just fucking let her?" Once my friend and I both said I was trying to give a bigger tip she then tried to back track after she saw me press no tip. I'm not sure if she was going through something at home or what this girls issue was but it was quite shocking. It's a bummer cause it was our first time going to this bar and all the other employees were fantastic. From what other girls were saying in the bathroom she was quite awful and gross to everyone, surprised she is still employed. I hope she becomes happier soon!

Yelp
Went to this place for line dancing and when I entered the bouncer almost didn't let me in, because he suspected my ID to be fake because of my photo being zoomed in. I went to DMV about this issue a while back and they said nothing looks wrong with the ID. The bouncer asked me for another form of identification even though my ID was real and the flashlight going through the ID showed the bear and CA state, proving it was a real ID. Please train your bouncers better when checking ID's! I shouldnt have to worry about carrying my birth certifcate or passport book just to prove my ID is real.

Yelp
Went here Saturday and had a great time!! Rachel Horter performed and was amazing!! Staff and drinks were excellent. Crowd was diverse and very friendly! I don't even like country music but I'd come back again for sure!! Also came here for a Niner game Sunday and it was almost better than being at the actual game!!! The TV was huge and the sound system was nice and loud!! I was happy to hear the game on a huge speaker system!!! If you're a Niner fan- this place is a must!!!
google avatar

Sara C.

Yelp
This place is so much fun! Live music, dancing, games like giant connect 4 and pool. Everyone's so friendly and the service is top notch. We didn't try the food so can't comment on that, but if you're looking for a place to hang with your friends and just have a great time listening to country music, this is it!

Juan Pablo V.

Yelp
I was double charged for some drinks, and getting a refund has been a complete headache. I've tried reaching out multiple times, but no one answers, and there's no clear way to resolve the issue. I understand mistakes happen, but good customer service means fixing them. Really disappointed with how difficult this process has been."

Yelp
A downfall for what used to be one of the best bars in Pacific Beach. The DJ/ music they have now is laughably embarrassing and actually ruins the entire experience. Who thought it was a good idea to give some random guy a mic to try to hype up the crowd

Lynae G.

Yelp
My husband and I have been country line dancing at MSB for about 9 months. Although we are in our 50's, dancing among 20-year-olds, from day one Sydney Spencer, the dance host, has made us feel unexpectedly welcomed! We are always greeted with a smile, and hug when possible. She is a big part of why we have been going back nearly every weekend, and now considered "regulars". Sydney's professionalism and clear, easy to follow dance instructions (all while not appearing to ever break a sweat after dancing for hours), exemplifies a true leader. MSB is lucky to have such a gem! Thank you Sydney Spencer, for the huge role you play in our fun nights at MSB!

Claire V.

Yelp
This bar has one of the worst DJ's. There is no sense of rhythm from genre to genre. He played a house remix of Six Feet Down by Creed into Dancing Queen by Abba it was one of the most audibly offensive mixes I've ever heard. Then he mixed Staying Alive by the Bee Gees into I Wanna F**k You by Akon... in what world does that make sense? Two stars because the drinks are cheap and they give food coupons when you pay the cover. People in the crowd are pushy and rude and the vibes are whack. Decor is very in theme with americana/country. Alcohol is readily accessible with multiple bars around the dance floor and in the game rooms. Outdoor area looked lovely for a sunset happy hour.
google avatar

Maritza S.

Yelp
Nice venue. Indoor and outdoor space. NOT a place for traditional country dancing at all. Line dancing at beginning then DJ hip hop. It was ok but was hoping to country dance.
google avatar

Natasha J.

Yelp
Line dancing here is always a good time. Love that there's an outdoor space when it gets too warm inside. They put the name of the dance on the stage screen so you always know what they'll be doing, even if there's a song change. There's multiple bars so you don't have to wait long for drinks!
google avatar

Alicia W.

Yelp
We came here on a party bus for a bachelorette party night out and had a blast! We knew we were coming here for line dancing but had no idea how this bar would transform throughout the night. We got there right at 8pm when they opened for line dancing. There were people who work at Moonshine out on the dance floor doing line dancing. It seemed like many regulars were also there who knew the routines. My friends and I attempted to jump in and learn the dances, some were definitely easier than others! We had a great time trying to learn and even getting the hang of some of them. One of the guys who works here was really helpful with trying to help teach us! They do lessons a few nights a week for line dancing, this was not one of those nights. However, they did have a segment where they taught one line dancing routine for about 10 mins then we all did that dance to 1 song. That was a fun way to get more people to participate! They did a high kick competition which my friend won, then one of the staff members bought us all shots to celebrate! The line dancing was all to country music and lasted about 2 hours. After that, a live band came on that did some covers of popular songs! It was quite different than the line dancing and we couldn't believe how fast the place filled up as the night progressed. We loved getting to sing and dance to some live music! After the live band ended, the whole placed turned into what felt like a club with EDM type music. We all joked at the end that it felt like we went to 3 different bars because of the super different vibes throughout the night! We loved the variety and had a great time. There were multiple different bars to order drinks from, so it seemed like there was never a wait. They even had multiple different bathrooms to choose from which was great to see at a bar where girls usually have to wait in long lines. Our night out at Moonshine was definitely a highlight of the trip and I would highly recommend it for a group night out!

Patrick C.

Yelp
First the positives: cool decor, lots of bar games, pool table costs only a dollar, bathrooms clean and bouncers friendly. Negatives: It looks like a country bar and looks like you could have fun if you already were an expert line dancer. We went for the 7pm line dance lesson. which was not instructional at all. I've line danced before and had lessons prior. The Moonshine "honey" that was teaching just held a mic and danced along with some regulars. Neither she nor any other "honeys" attempted to stop the music to review the dance's directions nor did they speak to any of the public to coach us along. I can judge a Cowboy or Country bar by the amount of Cowboy hats in the bar. Of the 80-100 patrons on this Saturday night in April, I counted only 3 cowboy or cowgirl hats. Only half of the folks dancing were dressed in what I'd call country attire. Lots of sneakers and even some guys wearing short shorts. I can guess that a lot of the LGBTQ community liked to dance there. Lastly, we asked 3 different staff members for where to order tacos and wings. We were told by all the staff members 3 different locations to order. We left and ate yummy sushi accross the street.

Yelp
Line dancing... it is the best we've been to the sister bar downtown and this one has a larger dance floor footprint. Coming back after the shutdowns from the pandemic and seeing a lot of familiar faces, really awesome. Bar is friendly - excellent service- and I yelled out a line dance and the dj played it. Could have been a coincidence but still hilarious! They now on Saturdays charge cover starting at 7- get on the guest list to avoid this. We really only go once the dance hall opens around 8 and leave when the live music starts around 9:30-10. Which some may argue is when it gets turnt. I have a few notes about the bouncers- this seems to be a popular topic on other reviews. The bouncers and security that I've seen have always cleared drinks, kept people safe and kept the place running super smoothly. It's part of the reason we keep coming back. They don't let it get trashed or let over served people ruin it for others. Tip: they have dance tutorials on YouTube if you want to see a few before dusting off your boots.
google avatar

Alvaro S.

Yelp
Came here for the 49ers game. Was disappointed when security kicked me out for being a creep because I rejected a chick. I just came here to strictly watch the game. I wasn't rude to her or her friends. She told the security that I was drunk and I was trying to hit on her, which is a lie because no average guy does cold approaches these days. Security was very nice about it and ask me to leave. Didn't throw a fit. Miss the 4th quarter because of it. But as long the Niners won. I didn't care that much. I will probably go to a another Niners bar just avoid the hassle.
google avatar

Alfred A.

Yelp
This is a pretty fun place for karaoke, the host is great plus they have a taco truck in the back that serves 4 tacos for 10 bucks and you can choose two different kinds. On the inside there are games and tv's to watch sports and I must say one of the bartenders was awesome. I know I'm gonna butcher her name but Sheryl Lynn was so nice and provided great service. It seemed a lot like a country bar which isn't really my thing but I had a good time! It's definitely worth checking out if you are out in PB.
google avatar

Joshua D.

Yelp
I've been coming here since it opened and my last experience was the best because of my bartender Kenny! He has a funny mustache and talks in a super deep voice almost sounds fake but he can sling some bottles. Everyone in the San Diego Volleyball Crew and Life's A Beach Volleyball Club come here on the regular... Tuesday and the weekends are the best with hot sluts wall to wall! They have country and hip hop and games outside plus good food! I'm going to come back over and over because that Kristen Ochoa girl is the best teacher of dance moves in San Diego. I would like this place more if I could just skip the line and have a special Volleyball Crew line - let's make that happen! Yeah Haw MF!
google avatar

Scott Z.

Yelp
Came here for a Niners game. Crazy packed but got bar seats because we were lucky they just opened the doors to the main bar area. Good bartenders, they worked their asses off. There were some nice beer bucket specials for the game and the food came out surprisingly quickly. We had some apps and I really liked the rib tips. Good sauce and meaty little bastards. Fun place would definitely catch football there again.

Tatyana L.

Yelp
I am completely impressed with customer service. This is my go to place, the best in town dance floor with friendly and highly skilled dance instructors. I really enjoy friendly atmosphere and great music. Sidney Spencer goes above and beyond to help me with dance steps. Thank you girl.... you are the best!!!!

Yelp
Came here a couple times with friends. Been here pretty recent and they mentioned the menu was revamped. Food: Prior to Covid I really enjoyed the food. After Covid they went through a phase where I like the pulled pork sandwich. Now with a revamped menu I got excited, but it was a wash. I ordered the fish tacos and chicken strips first off I hate ordering food and it taste like it was frozen and tossed in a deep fryer. The fish tacos was more of a fish stick in a tortilla. The chicken tenders are huge but they taste like fish?!?! Are you using the same oil perhaps? I would not recommend coming here for food. Drinks: I ordered a tequila and sprite and it taste like lemonade and tequila?!?! Not sure what mixes they are suing but that's def not sprite. Super sweet. The only drink I would recommend is something in a can tbh. Atmosphere: This place has something for everyone. Concert venue with a live band playing is great! Tons of games to keep you and your party occupied. Karaoke in the backroom is always a good option. The vibes are there but the drinks and food needs to be Reassessed for sure. They have a cover of $5 when I went not sure if that changes throughout the night. Service: our waiter was very nice not too attentive she disappeared for awhile and asked another waitress and found out she went on break. Thanks for the heads up -__- . Overall I would say this is a place you go to see the band play and play games if that's the vibe you want. Food and drinks I would say lower your expectations.
google avatar

Joni T.

Yelp
we went for a country concert and the vibe was sooo fun, no fights broke out, very good bar tab vs what we got. even the bands that played mingled. I even tried to dance and no one judged me, some other dancers were actually super helpful lol the bartenders were super attentive and made excellent drinks, even though mine were all Tito's and sodas Can't wait to go again!

Jacob M.

Yelp
Scrawny egotistical bouncer overstepped his boundaries and escorted a local patron who has been contributing to the bar fro 2 years minimum out after he apologized for his dance moves.
google avatar

Mahmut E.

Yelp
I went there twice for the Salsa nights on Sundays. Sundays at the bar side is very quiet, I only saw a couple of people drinking at the bar side. However their concert hall is giant and very well organized. There are three bars on each side that you can get drinks. There are clean restrooms. The stage is very well set. Salsa dancing was really good. I am also looking forward to listening some concerts there. Prices are reasonable as compared to other local bars. They also serve bar food. ID check at the main door was strict.

Yelp
Everytime I go there I always have an AMAZING TIME, place is very spacious, music pretty fun and the eye candy is the best in San Diego . Highly recommend Moonshine Beach.

Yelp
Victors the best!! shout out to victor, he was awesome to us while we were at the bar on saturday night -Sophie & Riley

Vanessa S.

Yelp
Won't ever go there as long as they have the same bouncers!!! I was having a good time until i stepped out of the bar and the bouncers ruined the experience for me. First i asked the bouncer if i will be able to get back in because i had a stamp and he said yes. I was outside for maybe 2 minutes, then went to get back in and the bouncer said i had to go to the end of the line and wait once again. I was obviously frustrated so i shared the story with a girl next to me, when a different bouncer approached me very aggressively asking "do you want to get back inside or not?". I said yeah i do but im po'd right now. So he hopped right up on his high horse and said fine you won't be getting in. When i get to the front of the line, he walked up to the man checking my ID and said im not allowed to enter. He then started to laugh at me and taunted me until i left. My family and I left and were really disappointed. I paid to get in, denied to re enter, then taunted by a grown man. Im assuming it's because Im a lesbian. Probably homophobic.

Yelp
Arrived at 3;45 Pm for the 5:30 49ers playoff game against Green Bay. It was raining and there were 2 lines on both sides over a block long ! The doormen said they were not letting people in until 4:30, "Sorry Dude, now go to the back of the line...." !! What an Incredibly STUPID business practice !! All my friends and I went to the other 49er bar Sand Box and are never going back to Moonshine, EVER !! Plus at Sandbox they have better pizza and they will actually bring it to your table. G'Bye Moonshine Bleach !!

Tiffany C.

Yelp
The service seemed decent at first. I ordered and the bartender made our order. I left a 20%+ tip and we left the bar. A few minutes later, two of our party didn't enjoy their drink. They weren't enjoying the style of the margarita since it was a different bartender. We went back to the bar and asked if we could simply get our (full) margaritas remade into basic tequila shots instead. The bartender refused to remake our drinks into a simple shot, and she refused to refund the cost of the two drinks. It's so unfortunate that this was my first time at Moonshine bar. This mishap really left a bad taste in my mouth. I just wish we would have had a more understanding bartender. I feel really terrible about going to this extent, but I will definitely be contacting management about this. I always make sure I leave a 20% tip with every service I receive, but I don't feel comfortable leaving a "thank you" charge with something we were burdened with.

Yelp
fun ambiance. came here for my 21st birthday-- asked to do karaoke and the girl told me they were not taking any more requests for the night. a couple groups behind us asked immediately after and were put onto the list, which was kind of disappointing

Yelp
Rude bouncer/ manager who took away a sentimental flask- which was literally empty and he saw that it was, and threw it away. He wouldn't even keep it out in front so I can take it with me on my way out. When i asked him about it later he said "it's in the trash somewhere u can dig through it when u go out" like why would i do that?? so disrespectful. I even had a security guard help me try to find it and he couldn't. Lame basic radio music that plays after the band is over.

Yelp
The 49ers fan place to be. The atmosphere was awesome for a Sunday afternoon day of 49er football. Service was typical of the PB area. Beach vibes, food was ok, party was lit.

Yelp
So much fun! This place is a hidden gem! I had the best time watching Tenille Arts perform. It was amazing, the Venue is extremely clean and very nice!

Yelp
Dead AF for happy hour and they still wanted $10/pp for cover, probably to cover the 40 security guards since that's all that's inside. They even asked if we were on the guest list. Comical! I thought we were being pranked

Yelp
Summer Salsa Sundays are back - with a basic group lesson at 5:30pm and social dancing to (almost exclusively) salsa and bachata 6:30-10. The earlier you come, the easier it is to find parking - and the more room there is on the dance floor. The later it gets, the more people there are. If there is a (team) performance, it will be at 9pm. Many people come on Sundays just to drink, watch a game, or to socialize with friends - without ever entering the dance area. They are missing out on good music and a lot of fun. Many others come on other nights for classes and (line) dancing to country music. IF you wanna dress up like an urban cowgirl (and dance group choreography to specific songs), that might be fun, but probably not as much fun as PARTNER dancing on Sunday nights....
