I found this beautiful cafe after checking the area and reading the reviews.
Unfortunately, as someone who drinks double espresso, I was so disappointed by the weak/diluted (?) coffee but more so by the atrocious price.
Paying close to £4 (£3.70 actual price) for a double espresso is shocking and by far the most expensive I have had in London (Gail’s is £3.10 for comparison).
This is a shame as the other coffees seem reasonably priced for the area (£4 for a flat white), and they don’t charge extra for alternative milk. The pastries also looked delicious, but I can’t comment as I didn’t try any.
I won’t come back for the double espresso, but perhaps for a flat white or pastry next time.
