Moose's Martini Pub

Trying new restaurants for their happy hour business and this one disappointed. We sat at the bar and after 10 minutes had to ask for a menu, ask to place drink order, ask to place food order and ask for condiments (aka, the service sucked). It wasn't even that crowded. The food was good, especially the green bean appetizer but not enough for a return visit given the service. I expect more engagement and personality of bartenders who are required to engage with customers. Oh well!

Came from Bar Louis from disappointment to 100% satisfaction. Service was already 2x better than the service from the previous restaurant we went to prior. The cheesecake martini is especially delicious!

Bar tender was super friendly and easy to talk to. This place feels boutique and very homey. I tried the mango martini (forgot the name) and the tiramisu Martini. I loved them both and definitely would like go back! I forgot to get pics of the fries but they were really yummy! Downtown Dearborn has easy parking and it's free. The restaurant is 2-3 block from parking. Definitely recommend!

The food was ok, not great or bad, just ok. The music was good and the waitress was nice. I would go again.

Great place for a drink and chat with friends or work peers. Service is great! The food is good, obviously just limited to small bites as appetizers, but their guacamole is good. I had the lychee martini, no piece of fresh lychee but the taste was good.

Cool bar. Atmosphere was nice. We were there until bar time on a Wednesday night and there was a good number of people there until close.

Came in for a drink after dinner elsewhere and we are so glad we did! It was a Sunday around 8:30p so it wasn't that many people there. Loved the look of the bar and the seating options. The staff were so friendly and it was nice to see them banter and interact with each other and other guests. We had a Long Island and emerald martini. Both drinks were made exceptionally well and priced well too! They had flyers for happy hour and other specials during the week. They also had a food menu however we didn't need any food at the time. We would for sure come back for drinks and try the food!

The drinks were really well priced!! It was around $8 per vodka soda. It was a cute, smaller bar. Typical structure with bar and table seating. A casual night out vibe. Service was fast when my friends and I sat at the bar. Only issue is that Dearborn isn't known for it's night life. There are a couple of bars in the area but if you're looking for bar hopping, this is not the scene.

Nice local bar on Michigan Avenue, in the heart of West Dearborn, one block from two parking garages. Several restaurants in the surrounding area, and a nice corner bar sort of vibe.

The chicken and waffle skewers was good as well as the truffle fries. Nice little bar with a good atmosphere.

FANTASTIC espresso martini!! Great Happy Hour specials too. Definitely a must try if you're in this area.

I walked in, sat at the counter; the inexpressive bartender glanced at me, but no acknowledgement or greeting! I was visiting from Scottsdale,AZ most certainly NOT accustomed to this unacceptable treatment and profound lack of service___so after patiently waiting for several minutes...I got up and left; went across the parking lot to another restaurant that immediately greeted me and obviously appreciated my business! This place has TERRIBLE service and it appears unkept!

My friend wanted to come to this spot by at the end of the night. Like a final drink drink before we go home. Luckily their kitchen is open late as well, so that's definitely a plus plus. Drinks are drink,,, you know,,, as long as you have someone attentive enough to fetch you a drink and it's good to go. The food was actually good here. Carby good stuff like the spicy feta pita slices, which is very good. Also the pretzel bread with dippy cheese is also a favorite of mine. The place is pretty nice,, ive been here on a busy night as well. Where they have a DJ posted by the door spinning good tunes and such. The crew is pretty attentive and I'd definitely drink here again if given the chance. My husband loves their drink specials too. Thank you so much for reading my review. Best prices, best service, best atmosphere simply the best. Every time I come here I get treated like family they always make consistently good drinks

Met up with friend here because on Tuesday they do $2 pints. They actually have a good selection of beers on drafts that is not just your regular beers like bud light or Miller lite. When we first got there, the place was not busy. As the night progressed, the place started to pick up. The clientele was more of the younger crowd. The service was good. You did not have to wait at the bar for someone to get your order. Also, at times the bartenders would bring out our drinks to the patio where we were sitting. The bartenders would come out and also ask if everything was alright. The place is small with some barstool at the bar and some tables around it. Also, they have a small patio that is great. Overall, the service was good and the food was decent. Regular bar food that is fried. Cannot really go wrong with it. They have deal some days so always check that out.

Really like this place good drinks and priced right. Allows you to actually hang out and enjoy yourself longer not worrying you might spend 200$ on 3-4 rounds with a date and they actually have real bar hours (insane but it's almost rare post covid). Iv been a couple times now and the staff are all friendly. Happy customer. Good bar. Great first date/date spot. Didn't try the food but I'll check it out

Met some friends here for drinks and din. I was quite excited to see the new Dearborn downtown, and am really impressed with what they did with it. Unfortunately I was less impressed with this location. Of you're coming here for a beer or a drink, they nail it perfectly. Good atmosphere, great staff, quick service. If you're coming here for food, it's a complete different experience. We ordered a couple of apps to share. The chicken and waffles skewer was a good idea, but honestly it seemed like they took frozen waffles and nuggs that you get at Kroger or Meijer. Like not even name brand, the store brand. The chicken tenders were so overcooked. They were hard and burnt and super chewy. Terrible. So for drinks and atmosphere - 5* Food - 0* Since 2.5 isn't an option I will give it 3.

Moose's is exactly what it says it is - a Martini Bar. They have great happy hour specials and fancy martinis at a not TOO fancy price of about $8. The food is satisfying and decent, but not the bar snacks you'll get in Ferndale or downtown. Not bad, but not homemade. They also bake everything with one oven, (no fryers) so if your table orders a bunch of stuff, it will probably come out a bit at a time. Not a problem if you're drinking and snacking, which is what this place is good for. You don't necessarily want to have dinner here. The martinis are great - especially the Tiramisu martini. Yum! The servers and bartenders are friendly and attentive, and even the cooks come out to say hello. A nice little neighborhood bar.

Nice little spot in a nice spot of town, a lot going on around it. Friendly staff and good drink, apps were very good, try the Garlic Truffle Fries and Wings, both were really good.

First and foremost, calling this joint a "cocktail bar" is an insult to legitimate cocktail bars (which are sorely lacking in Downtown Dearborn). Any bar where the liquor selection primarily consists of flavored vodka infusions with syrupy fruit juice/vodka "-tini" suffixed concoctions as cocktail selections is not a cocktail bar. Call me a snob, but if I walk into a self-proclaimed cocktail bar in Metro Detroit and know that I will not be able to order a Last Word just from briefly scanning the backbar, I cannot take that place seriously as a "cocktail bar." Sorry. That said, for what this place actually is -- a bar that specializes in bottled beverages and mixed drinks that are popular with the younger crowd -- it's decent. There are some pretty good specials on the menu from what I remember, and the prices are pretty affordable. Service was pretty decent, and I can't comment on the food. Despite my disdain for most of the cocktail menu, I did manage to get a very good Cucumber martini here (and was completely shocked that they had St. Germain, as it was one of the only arcane liqueurs on the backbar). Certainly not my first choice for a beverage, but as another reviewer stated: it's a perfectly adequate place for a drink or two (perhaps on the way elsewhere).

The owner is a drunk went outside to the patio came back in with drink bought from the bar at mooses and was taken by the owner who said we had to buy drinks from there when we just did who was clearly drunk then told us to leave. Never going back been there multiple times.

Beautiful small outdoor seating, variety of drink options and great appetizers! Fresh chips and good portions for the dip. Great service, we felt very comfortable and well taken care of.

Can see how this place could get some bad reviews, but come on people, they have ridiculous happy hours and specials. Basically any night during the week you can figure out how to get a good draft beer for $1-2, or a fancy martini for $6 that would be $10 anywhere else. I might skip the food and bring your own atmosphere, but cheap drinks at a place that's not a total skeezy dive is a good thing.

Love this spot. Jeff is a great manager and Devontay, and molly are awesome. I've seen it get kinda weird at times with situations that are out of their hands...and they handle them all so well, with grace and kindness. Amazing to see restaurant/bar staff so aware and caring. This place is great. A must try!

Davonte makes the best tequila sunrises! Fiesta feta sticks and garlic truffle fries are 10/10!!

Waited 30 minutes for the waitress to bother asking me if I wanted anything after we sat down and I had to get her attention any way and it's not even busy in here right now. It's now been 20 minutes and I've yet to be asked if I wanted anything else or another drink and the chicken and waffles skewers were trash compared to what the rest of my table had. Seems the people at the bar get the attention and everyone else is ignored. The service is ass and the wait staff is ass. Seriously there's maybe 20 people here not counting my party. No excuse. EDIT: After paying for one beer with a $10 bill, our waitress never gave me change. So, you're welcome I guess

I was very excited to try this place, but I will probably never go back. I might try a different location, but definitely not this one. First we walked in & we're not greeted by anyone even though workers made eye contact with us. There wasn't that many people in there. After about 3 minutes of awkward standing there, we sat ourselves. After sitting for about 5 minutes, still no one came up to us. A worker even came out from the back, looked at us, and went back to the back. After being in there for about 15 minutes, no one came to get our orders or even say hi. Terrible, terrible service. I am very disappointed.

If you prefer a more intimate (smaller) bar setting this is a great option. It's classy, fun waitstaff, and good atmosphere. I consider this one of my favorite bars in Dearborn.

This is always a great spot to catch a nice drink in a safe and respectful atmosphere. The martinis are good and the food is good. Free parking after six in the parking deck. The outdoor seating is comfortable in the summer and it is just an all around nice place.

Beware of the prices in this bar. I asked for a shot of Don Julio tequila and was shocked that they charged 20 dollars for a shot. I know my tequila more specifically Don Julio. So when the bartender Kerry said it was 20 dollars and that it was the going rate I was immediately suspicious. Kerry insisted that it was the cost everywhere. Two doors down the cost for a shot was 13 dollars. I paid my bill. Be careful in this bar.

I'm leaving one star because these morons think it's a great idea to blast crappy music on the outside speakers completely violating all common sense and noise ordinance. I had to call the cops to shut it down after I tired to call the bar. It was too loud so naturally when they answered the phone they couldn't hear me. They probably ruined the hearing of the 7 patrons that were in the bar on Christmas Eve. Here's a tip, don't blast that garbage at full volume on your outside sound system in the middle of winter. Don't worry, I'll be leaving a review on your competition Bar Louie for doing the same exact thing.

The bar is very clean and has a really nice laid back atmosphere. The aesthetic of the bar is very upscale and modern. The bartenders are phenomenal and anything I ask for they've got no issue obliging. The manager is a sweet heart and everyone is kind and very caring of the service they give you. If i could recommend any place to go it would be here and bamboozles. The music is a good volume and the drinks are super cool. If you try anything and your not much of a liquor drinker have a hot chocolate with some baileys it's great on these winter nights.

The drinks were good but the good was pretty disgusting. We ordered everything on the happy hour menu. Not good. Also, they only have one oven so everything smells either burned or like meat.

The finest of pubs. Great crowd. Excellent drinks and just the right ambience. Never a dull moment at Moose's. I highly recommend their Pineapple infused vodka, that's house made. It's located in the heart of the booming down town Dearborn area and I think it attracts nothing but the right crowd. Not to mention, their bar food is also on point. In summary, Moose's is the place to be for a guaranteed good time and it's not going anywhere for as long as this area remains hot.

Great place. This was my first time there an it was pretty good. I ordered some wings and they came out in a timely fashion. I just couldn't taste any seasoning on them. So I had to get ranch

Moose's gave me mixed feelings. The specials gave me a chill, laid back, divy vibe... the ambiance and extensive drink menu gave me a trendy, upscale vibe. The music upon entering was depressing for a Friday night at the bar :-/ I had the dog piss (the name had me taken aback and intrigued LOL) and my friend had the dirty martini special. Because mine required a new keg to be tapped, it took a while, so it was on the house. That was nice! We also ordered the mac & cheese bites and chicken fingers. Both were overcooked with little burnt crusties on it. The mac & cheese bites tasted like frozen food apps that were cooked in the microwave. So, clearly food here isn't a good idea. I got that vibe from other reviews, actually. We also weren't given silverware or little app plates. I ate my chicken finger on a napkin. Several napkins, because of crumbs. There were crumbs because I had to tear pieces off, since I didn't have silverware to use. I want to go back to Moose's to give it another shot. It's not out of the woods, yet. It wasn't BAD, but I wasn't dying to stay after my first drink.

Moose's Martini is a part of the "new" downtown Dearborn. It's a very quaint bar. It's basically a long, narrow room, and the people were packed in on a Friday night. They have an extensive martini list, and the wait staff was very helpful when we were trying to make our selections. I recommend the Pink Hound and the Snozberry. Prices were reasonable, and fortunately the martinis were huge! I will definitely go back.

Well, I was here this past Halloween weekend & I thoroughly enjoyed myself. I ran into my cousin who said their martinis are great & I'll take her word for it...I had some whiskey & didn't try any of their signature cocktails. I enjoyed the over 30 atmosphere here (thank God, I often feel old when out in Dearborn) & they played great music but there's no dance floor which kind of stinks...we had to leave & go next door to The Well to get our dance on. My only other complaint is the single private bathroom...this sucks when there are 6 ladies in line & only 1 can use the bathroom at a time (some ladies take WAY too long), and God forbid someone drink too much, they'd have to go outside to be sick, they can't take up the only bathroom for 45 minutes. I'm a fan of bar hopping & I think this is a good first or middle bar but I like to close out my bar night getting my groove on so I would likely spend more weekend going here & The Well for a nice rounded night of fun!!!

Good food and drinks. slice of melon, Kahlua & coffee and Peach Pear Bellini are all good choices.

Been here a few times and always have fun. They have a great list of specialty drinks if you are looking to be a little adventurous. Some of the drinks you may order just because of the creative name. Drinks and typical price for a martini bar but they do make a quality drink. It's called a martini bar but doesn't have a "stuffy" feel like some martini bars. It feels like a classy beer and shot bar and I mean that in a good way. Good jukebox that isn't over powering but very diverse. Locations is great! Right on MI Ave in downtown Dearborn with large windows and a patio that give you great areas for people watching. If for some reason you don't like Moose's there are 10+ bars witin easy walking distance.

Visited Moose's while we were in town for the girls Junior Olympic volleyball competition. Definitely did not disappoint. Not only did they have drink deals for every night of the week, they provided friendly and professional conversation and had many suggestions about the nearby area. Should I ever be back in dearborn, Mooses will be my first stop. Thank you to Carrie and the owners!! Great vibe, great people, great service, great drinks.

Great drinks with a good crowd. The food is great bar food perfect setting to enjoy a good drink around the bar. There are TV's and tables where you can see the TV's for any sports fans like myself.

I think this is a 4.5 star review, but will lean towards five on this one. Came on a saturday night, they had a DJ (he played some great music and it was current, no dance floor though) and there was a lot of people in here mixing and mingling. They have a appetizer menu (all baked not fried) for which I had the wings (a little big but really good) and their chicken nachos (some of the best nachos you will ever have). Drinks here will run between $6-$9 (including their martini's, which are all 8.50 and very good), but are very very good, different, and they run at least a 1-2 drink special every day. Overall, it can get a little high here as far as price/bill at the end of the night here, but it is a nice good time, i like it.

I give Moose's all the credit in the world for trying to "modernize" the west Dearborn area by opening an establishment that caters to the young professionals crowd that's looking for something classier and more hip than something along the same strip that are more dated and have become a "has been" type place. Moose's does have awesome deals during Happy Hour, and the selection of martini drinks definitely lives up to the name of actually calling it a "Martini Pub", as opposed to just "Pub." I got a feeling the long and narrow layout of Moose's was intentional, because you have no choice but to face a person as you shuffle sideways towards the back (or the front) of the bar, and that increases the probability of you striking up a conversation with a stranger, whatever the end result of that may be. Since I'm not quite at that stage of my life anymore, being squished against the wall like I'm in a can of sardines just doesn't do it for me anymore. It's really loud in there, and it's not just because I'm old and don't like loud places anymore. The combination of the acoustics of the long and narrow bar, plus the quantity of people in there make my ears ring when I leave. I'd be glad to go there again during Happy Hour when I can actually breathe, but for a Friday or Saturday night, possibly maybe, but probably no.

Mets friends here for happy hour and excitedly glanced through their drink menu which is extensive and reasonably priced. As hungry happy hour visitors, our table sampled many of their appetizers all of which were bland and unappetizing. The spinach artichoke dip literally had no flavor and was extremely watery... The fried ravioli was also bland and reminiscent of frozen food you can find at any big lots store. The nachos lacked enough cheese to truly be considered nachos and was smothered instead by lettuce. Thankfully, the drink menu was large enough to provide flavor where the food lacked any at all. I personally won't go back but if you want to go somewhere to try some creative drinks, this might be up your alley.... just don't go hungry or you'll be supremely disappointed.
