I recently had the chance to take menu photos at MORA in Oak Park, and the experience was nothing short of fantastic.
From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was super chill—relaxed yet stylish, with beautiful art pieces all around that made the space feel warm and inviting. I arrived around 2 PM, a quieter time, and the staff immediately made me feel welcome.
I was running on low energy, so I asked for a tea. The waiter didn’t just bring me a tea—he crafted me an absolutely incredible blend that woke me right up and had me ready for the shoot. That small gesture set the tone for the whole visit.
Service was spot on—friendly, attentive, and fast. The food came out surprisingly quickly without compromising on presentation or quality. Every plate looked like a piece of art, which made photographing them a joy.
And the flavors? Amazing. From the sushi rolls to the hot dishes, everything was fresh, balanced, and beautifully plated. The vibrant garnishes (including fresh flowers!) added a touch of elegance.
Overall, MORA isn’t just a place to eat—it’s a spot to enjoy a full experience. Great food, great people, and a vibe that makes you want to stay a while. Highly recommended whether you’re coming in for a casual lunch, a special dinner, or, like me, a creative project.
