Chicago’s Black Beer Makers Are Making Waves - Eater Chicago

One of my faves when I come up to the Chicago metro. Fantastic beer‐ every style is spot on. Food is awesome. Staff is friendly and helpful with any questions you may have about beer/food choices. They also have an excellent to-go selection. Keep up the great work!

The brewery is located at a real nice location. It is easy to find and the setting is neat. Cheese curds were excellent and the rest of the food was good. Beer was good but not my favorite and the service was just ok.

Google
Good looking taproom! There was an impressive selection to go including some very nice Barrel aged bottles. On draught there were beers from all styles, to make everybody happy. I grabbed a side of voodoo fries, they were tasty.

Came here last Saturday for the first time to try beers new to me. More Brewing distributes their canned beer crowd my area. I’ve tried those and they were very good. No doubt the smaller batch and brewery only beers will be just as good or better. Sure enough I was right! I brought beer flight of four beers- 14% ABV barrel aged stout, a New England IPA, a red ale and a brown ale. All of these beers were made well, not watered down, and definitely not boring. I knew I was in for a real treat though this exceeded my expectations. My companion brought a non alcoholic pale ale and she liked it, said it was very good. Our server guy was awesome, professional, friendly, made us feel welcome, and knew the beer list very well. In fact I’ve seen the bartender and other servers interacting with customers in very positive ways. It looked like every customer enjoyed themselves, which is clearly a good sign. The place was big, contemporary, exciting, clean, casual, and had a great energy. The men’s washroom was clean. Parking can be challenging. We found free street parking very close to the brewery. There are parking lots not too far away. Overall, a great experience, and I will definitely come back the next time I’m in the area.

Cheese curds are fantastic. The burgers were so delicious and don't sleep on the fries. Reed was our server and he was awesome.

First time visiting this brewery in Chicago but always sought out the Henna beer. We came here for lunch and beers and it did not disappoint. We got the Voodoo Curds, Nashville Hot Chicken Sando, Samosas, Paneer Pakora, and the Tikka Masala Platter. That chicken Sando was crunchy and hot that crave we had for a Nashville Hot sando. The Samosa and Pakora I would also get again. To Drink we got a Hazy, Pale and Dark Lager. They did have some Henna to go 👀 so stop by and get yourself a bottle.

Google
such a great spot. it’s clean, service was awesome, super attentive and they were able to answer all of my questions. prices are reasonably matched up with the quality, food is so tasty and the menu has diverse options, and the beer is so amazing. the draft beer tastes super fresh and they have quite a bit of unique selections to choose from. it’s rare to taste such intriguing flavors in beer and have it balance perfectly. very hard to achieve ! definitely going back and definitely recommending.

Google
Great place with large selection of beers. Food was very tasty and bartender Michael makes our visit even more special. Definitely recommending this place 👍🏻

Yelp
All around great place. Food is always really good and consistent. Bartenders are laid-back...but if you have questions about beer or food...very knowledgeable. GREAT STAFF! Recently added a Sunday bunch with a unique twist on some standard favorites. And recently added outdoor seating at the Villa Park location...bring your 4 legged friends.

Tim C.

Yelp
A GREAT spot for both families and friends. The food is awesome and consistent, and offers items to get you out of your comfort zone. The service, while laidback is extremely efficient, seamless, and knowledgeable, so ask questions!! A special shoutout to the bartenders, especially Victoria, who is super friendly and knows her shit!!!

Yelp
I absolutely love More Brewing! This location is awesome. Always excellent service and good vibes. I prefer to sit at the bar and we're always treated very well by the staff. I'm in love with their beers! There isn't a beer I tried that I haven't liked. Then again, I'm not picky when it comes to good beer. I really enjoy fruity sours and they have some incredibly good ones. Their variety of beers in general makes coming here worth it every time. Their beer flights are reasonable and the way to go. You get 4 beers in 5oz glasses and they'll have you feeling pretty good. Their food is way better than I expected. First time I came here with a friend, we were both happy with the menu options and food quality. Better than the food menu at Bartlett (never been to their Huntley location). We both ordered the quesabirria tacos and they were delicious!! Tonight, I came here with my boyfriend and ordered the pork belly tacos. They were really good. Had some of their fries too and they're crunchy and perfect. I look forward to returning again and again. I plan on buying some of their 4 packs of beer next time as well.

Yelp
As a huge fan of hefty stouts and barleywines I was excited to get in to More and sample some of their less-released variations. The space is nice and open and the staff was perfectly nice. It was an off hour so pretty sleepy with a few folks snacking on the ubiquitous brewpub pretzels. They didn't have the rarer releases I wanted to try so we went with a few of the more standard versions of their stouts. I wasn't super impressed, unfortunately. It all had a very heavy, cloying, motor oil mouthfeel and was just overwhelming. I'd like to try their other taproom to get some of the higher-rated beers. Given how ubiquitous brewpubs are in the area I'm not too pressed to try their food but wouldn't be upset about it!

Yelp
Service was fairly good. It was quick and friendly. The More beer I tried was Outward Darkness and I'm not really a beer drinker, but it was really good. Very nutty and creamy. It was delicious. My chicken salad had fresh ingredients, with crispy chicken with a really tasty balsamic dressing that was good. The truffle fries were decent. Hubby had the bang bang chicken sandwich as a wrap and that was really good too. We would definitely go back here.

Yelp
Definitely hopping for a Saturday night we figured get there early 5pm but it was slammed already - we always order an appetizer curds or pretzel is always a good starter. We enjoyed a burgers and Bam Bam chicken sandwich! Glasses were always full and staff was always running around so we could stop someone if needed! I must say I felt bad for the food runners dodging children there was one table of adults and kids running loose - I understand we all need a break and a beer but kids just aren't supposed to do laps around the dinner table dining out ! Super nice staff and the beer TVs needed a little help the only way to look at a menu was QR but the beer menu was on a TV in front of us not working we had to visit a different TV for beer options a few times!

Yelp
I love the industrial vibe of this place! When we went, it was pretty crowded but the place is large and so there was lot of seating availability. The food was good and the drink menu was extensive. I highly recommend!

Yelp
Big outta town fans of the beer and have become big fans of the food too. The beer is clearly center stage with digital menus and barrels adorning the open airy and largely unpretentious restaurant/bar, but so far we've had the tacos, wings, chili, the truffle fries and our 2 current favorites - the Italian beef egg rolls and the poke nachos - and all are first rate! Usually very solid service and if you can't find a beer here that you absolutely love...well then I'm sorry, you and beer aren't meant for each other.

Yelp
My husband and I came here a few weeks ago, and we were both in love! We came here on a Saturday afternoon for lunch, and because we came a little after opening, it was dead when we walked in, but by the time we left, it was pretty packed with people! The waiter we had was very patient and friendly, and he was always on top of everything we asked for/needed. Honestly, all of the workers seemed to be great at their jobs and personable. It's definitely a plus for the service industry, especially because good customer service seems to be hard to come by nowadays, especially in the restaurant industry. For my drink, I ended up ordering the Coral Riff sour beer ($7 for a 10oz draft), which is guava-flavored. It was honestly amazing, and it made me pucker because of how sour the taste was at times, but I would totally order it again. As an appetizer, we ordered the cheese curds ($11). These were so airy and soft. I am a huge texture eater, and let me tell you, these things had AMAZING texture. For my lunch, I ordered the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich ($16), and it did not disappoint. It was honestly one of the best Nashville hot chicken sandwiches I have had at a restaurant; the breading on the chicken was so airy and delicious and was made with so many spices. The chicken was HUGE, and the coleslaw on the sandwich was even delicious (I normally don't care too much for the coleslaw). My husband ordered the More Burger ($15) with bacon added, and he absolutely loved his, too. In addition, the food is amazing, and you get a ton of food for normal prices. None of the food is crazy expensive, and everything is comparably priced to other restaurants, if not cheaper for some items. We even both enjoyed the fries that our meals came with! Overall, we will definitely be coming back here because we thoroughly enjoyed the food, drinks, and experience!

Yelp
My love and I went to More Brewing in Villa Park on a soggy Saturday afternoon as we tagged along with our couple friends on a whirlwind suburban brewery crawl. Since our Yelper friend Howard L asked me for my thoughts about More Brewing, I shall first start by saying that I loved our overall experience! We were at first all about the beer here. My love and I shared a flight of four beers, and I loved The Zipper : Calamansi, a weirdly-named Lemon Shandy with calamansi limes. Refreshingly fruity and delicious - we bought a four-pack of this one to go! We also enjoyed the Villa Pils, and the Malort Maibock and Malort Pilsner (crazy - two beers with Malort!), among other brews sampled by us. The food menu reads like a bunch of places at a food court mushed together, but I'd say we were all pleased with our selections. The menu listed three items in the Taste of India section, so I went out on a limb and ordered the Tikka Masala platter. Boy were my taste buds pleased! The sauce in the chicken tikka masala was slightly zingy but oh so delicious - I wish I could bottle that sauce and take it home with me! The platter also came with veggie biryani and naan bread for a stunningly scrumptious late lunch. My love went with the MoRE Burger and tacked on cheese curds as the side for a reasonable $3 upcharge. I didn't try the burger but the cheese curds were a crispy class act. Our friends were satisfied with the Cubano Al Pastor and Italian Beef egg rolls. We admired the craftsmanship inside More Brewing - the chairs embedded with the name of the venue, the wood and glass tables. Service was spot on, as we always had a vessel of water on our table. Someone broke a glass at another table, and the staff were very careful to sweep up the spill. Note the free parking to the side of the location. Do yourself a huge favor and check out More Brewing.

Yelp
Only had beer and a few appetizers during happy hour but it was outstanding. Food was great, beer was great and prices were especially good during happy hour. Next table had a salad that looked really good as well. Try the wings and cheese curds... We definately will be going back to this spot.

Yelp
I've been to more 5-10 times at this point and still haven't reviewed?! Wow. The Villa park location is a bit off the beaten track but absolutely worth a stop in. They always seem to have a good rotation of about 20 drafts available, plus a few guest taps and cider options for those who aren't beer fans. They do everything very solid. I'm a normal IPA and stout guy, but the lagers and sours I've had have all been dialed in nicely. Drafts are priced well - usually around 3 bucks for a 5oz taster, 5-6 bucks for a 10-12oz glass, and 7-9 for a 16oz or heavier stout. You can definitely sample around with a few tasters and find what you're looking for. The food is always solid. This time I opted for the Tandoori chicken sandwich. I wished the slab of chicken was a big bigger as the bread basically overtook the meat, but the meat was tasty and seasoned well. The burger here is really solid. So is the bang bang chicken sandwich. Also have had the tikka masala plate which was fantastic and paired well with some of the IPAs. Love the fries here - they are like the double fried kind - so crunchy and delicious. We also got the birria nachos (seasonal item) this visit which was a huge bowl of nachos to share with plenty of toppings. So good. Stop in and give them a shot, I'm sure you'll find a beer you like!

Yelp
Great food and beer! There are so many beers, get a flight to try them all. We also had the Italian beef rolls and the Korean wings- both were extremely good and we didn't have any leftovers.

Yelp
Not dog lovers here (or just lacking in customer service). Despite a beautiful day today (sunny and mid 70's), they wouldn't let my wife and I sit out front on the patio at around 2:30pm since they expected weather tonight (which never came). We just wanted one table set up so we could sit outside with our sweet dog and have a few brews and some apps. I heard they have good beer here...still don't know. We ended up going across the street to the patio at Demito's and had a great afternoon with our pooch, a buddy and a few beers/light apps. Dropped almost a $100 here and our dog gots lots of love and attention from the staff and customers. Great afternoon after all. Not just at More Brewing.

Yelp
More remains a unique brewpub experience twenty miles west of the city, featuring a diverse lineup of food, beers, and spirits that few breweries can match. The food is actually where More shines, the best brewery food in Chicagoland, perhaps only rivaled by Old Irving Brewing in the city. While I do miss some of their pre-pandemic options (black bean burger, salmon and pineapple sandwich), they still put out some incredible food, from the southwest salad to the More burger to the incredible Indian options (my wife always gets the paneer masala, and the tandoori chicken sandwich is great as well). The beer is too notch as well, though not quite at the level of their early years. This happens when your original team leaves to form their own brewery, and then the succeeding two head brewers leave over the next few years as well. Some of the staples from years past don't quite hit the same high notes, but they do still shine in barrel-aging: their Mendhi series remains a knockout. Always a great meal and experience whenever we get the chance!

Yelp
This place is great! I have been to visit 2 of the 3 locations many times and absolutely love them! This was a burger special they had. Big enough to split and plenty to eat. The fries have a batter type coating on them and are thicker cut. Great flavor!! The venue is much bigger inside than it looks from outside. The beer is awesome! Several options of food and beer and mixed drinks. The prices are comprimible to the rest of the area. Lots of swag items and many choices of beer to go as well. The only real downfall is the parking. It can be a tad difficult since it's in the middle of the downtown area. A definite must go when in the area!

Yelp
More Brewing has a great selection of beers! We came in and tried around 8-10 small pours. Found two beers I normally wouldn't try but really liked! I keep forgetting they offer a full menu, so next time we'll plan on eating here. I also appreciate that they offer mixed 4-packs. Perfect for gifting to our fellow city dweller beer friends! Yelp
Victoria was awesome! Super friendly and knows her beers! Check out More if you're in Elmhurst

Yelp
I'm certain the chef has changed within the past year and as a result, I think the quality of the food has gone down. Wings aren't as crispy as they used to be, but the fries at least are still bomb. Tried a few new things on the menu and wasn't really impressed. The beer cheese bacon mac sounds amazing on paper, but it was under-seasoned, more akin to boiled pasta that went in an oven with a light layer of shredded cheese and breadcrumbs. The cajun shrimp tacos had great flavor with the toasted tortillas as a touch of crispiness, but the shrimp were wildly dry. The shrimp is on the smaller side, so I'm sure it's easy to overcook them. Had the seafood soup recently that was nice and spicy, so I would have that again if it was back on the menu. The Nashville hot chicken was quite dry too, so I've started to steer away from the chicken. Still, the redeeming factor is the beer. They produce some high-quality beers from rich stouts, tart sours, and hoppy IPAs. The beer has me coming back as well as the friendly staff, but I'm less likely to get food nowadays.

Yelp
I came to write this about on thing: the latte stout. Best Stout i've ever had. Looking for ways to get it sent to me back home

Yelp
Friendly, fun & attentive service in a charming mini-micro brewery environment with a HIGHLY varied menu -- from burgers and nachos to ahi tuna and bang bang shrimp; pan-Asian and Indian Influences readily available. Ever-changing monthly specials with a vibe that feels more Lincoln Park than Villa Park. #EmotionalSupportAnimal friendly, but Elroy is busy at home tracking squirrels. Of course, Registered Service Dogs are welcome anytime.

Yelp
A review update but actually more or less a visit note to self: This place became totally packed and is deservedly still tip-top popular out here.  There's always something new with both the beer and food menu and there's always a lot of good pickings.  I'll put up with the noise level any time to enjoy what's here. Tonight on the food: An appetizer round of cheese curds ($11).  I had their BOTM (burger of the month) Sweet Home Apple Bourbon burger with a house salad ($19).   My two best buds and colleagues both had the sausage and pepper rigatoni ($22).  One of them was contemplating the tikka masala platter, but server told him they were surprisingly out of that dish due to a rice shortage.  We all later chuckled to ourselves about why they couldn't have just run over to Patel Brothers to resolve, lol. Tonight on the beer: Round 1 Blood Orange Double Marbles Imperial IPA/ double milk shake, 8.0% ABV, mine Open Fields cream ale, 4.5% ABV,  only $2 tonight for 16 oz, whaddadeal!! Marzen Oktoberfest, 6.0% ABV Round 2 Pina Colada Double Marbles Imperial IPA/ double milk shake, 8.0% ABV, mine Away from the Norm red ale, 6.0% ABV Belgian Tripel, 8.8% ABV Round 3 Loose Candies Double New England IPA, 8.4%, mine Kenilworth Kolsch, 5.0% ABV Loose Candies Double New England IPA, 8.4% I can't recall ever having three 8% ABV'ers in one sitting, but it hit the spot, and was also a good place to stop without a designated driver.  The End.

Yelp
An amazing, Indian-owned brewery with good things on tap and flavorful food for order. We spent lunch catching up with an old friend and his family while us adults sampled More's brews and cocktails. Since I can't drink beer and often feel out of place at breweries, the full lunch menu and the cocktail and non-beer options made me, and some others at our large table, very happy. Highly recommend!

Yelp
I recently visited More Brewing Company for the first time. The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting, and I could picture the garage doors being open on pleasant days, creating a lively ambiance. Since I was in the Elmhurst area earlier, I used the Yelp app to locate a nearby spot for dinner and decided to drive to Villa Park. It was a short drive and well worth it. I sat at the bar and the service was good. I ordered the WI Cheese Curds and Street Tacos from the Shareables menu. The cheese curds were good, but the shrimp tacos, which I ordered without pico de Gallo, were my favorite! The creamy sauce was so good! I also tried the Untitled Art Mango Dragonfruit Non-Alcoholic Fruited Sour Ale which was really good too!
google avatar

Jennifer D.

Yelp
The food is delicious and the bar selection of craft beer and mixed drinks is a true find in VP. Buffalo Trace as their house bourbon? Yes, please! I don't have any pictures to share although I've been here several times. Get the poke nachos! They oddly have an Indian menu and the Tikka Masala Platter with chicken is amazing. All things fries and curds are ridiculous.
google avatar

Abby H.

Yelp
Every time we come, the food is delicious! We have come with our kids (10,8 & 4) and alone. The food is consistently excellent. The service is always wonderful and the brews are tasty.

Mary F.

Yelp
Enjoyed this local brewpub twice this month because of the fantastic beer, great food and service, and fun atmosphere. The Italian beef egg rolls were delicious and perfect to share between 4 people. The southwest salad--a menu staple I was told--was fresh and easily made a great vegan choice. All our other food was terrific as well. No complaints! (although the noise level was very high at dinner time.)

Yelp
We always have high expectations when we visit More Brewing. Visited this place after almost a year and honestly we were a bit disappointed with the food. I liked that way they used to serve the samosa chat earlier by crushing the samosas and then adding all the chutneys. Cheese curds and fries were great. The falafel was very dry. Everything else we tried was ok.
google avatar

Nilam P.

Yelp
My husband and I came here for lunch today, and had a great experience: food 4/5 didn't like the maple brussel sprouts had overly sweet profile), ambiance 5/5, service 5/5. Everything we had is made in house, FRESH! We shared cheese curds (so crispy from the outside, cheese was just right served with chipotle ranch...yumm! Truly the best samosas i have had in Chicago land- the flavors of the samosa with the green & sweet chutney went so well and the red onion on top sealed the deal. Our bartender/waitress was knowledgeable and pleasant. I would love to see vada paav and bombay style frankie on the menu!
google avatar

Jazmine S.

Yelp
Even though the food and drinks were good, we observed the owner and his demeanor felt off. He is rude and makes me not want to support this kind of business! Never again.
google avatar

Hannah G.

Yelp
I'm not a big beer person... but the double marbles beer they have is the BEST! Its fruity and creamy... 10/10. They always have it and change up the flavor. The food there is outstanding. The menu is always changing and the food just never disappoints. Must go!
google avatar

Rob W.

Yelp
Great selection of microbrew offerings - I had a porter that was quite tasty. Ordered some samosas as an appetizer - they complement the beer selection nicely. Enjoyed a MORE cheeseburger. It's a two pattie deal which makes it tough to order burgers at temperature - but the burger was good anyway. Fries were made with a mix rather than actual potatoes - kind of a letdown. Friend ordered a Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich - it was burnt and kind of tough. Service was cordial but a little spotty at times. I'll go back to try other food and beers.
google avatar

Abril P.

Yelp
Food here is FANTASTIC! We ordered a few things out of the menu but let me tell you : You must order the spicy cheesecurds with spicy ranch ! The jalapeño burger was also pretty good but I wasn't crazy about the falafel wrap .
google avatar

Maddie C.

Yelp
More brewing is an awesome spot. It is always packed full whenever we try to go, so we aren't able to go much. We went in on a Thursday evening, and it was still really full with a couple open tables. The hostess was great, brought us our waters and let us know our server would be with us shortly. Our server was nice as well. I got the peach cobbler sour, which was DELICIOUS! As for my main, I ordered their Cuban sandwich but I replaced the pickled pineapple with dill pickles. It was fantastic! I hope they keep this on the menu, it was really tasty. I love this spot, but be prepared for a wait if you go on the weekends.
google avatar

Matthew B.

Yelp
My favorite brew pub in the western suburbs! Their beer selection is always good and the food is great. I like the hot chicken sandwich. It is spicy without being obnoxious. Venture to Villa Park and check out MoRE! You won't be disappointed.
google avatar

Nicole L.

Yelp
Okayyyyy, More - I see you. First off, there is a tiny dedicated parking area in front, but thankfully even though it was a crowded and busy weekend day, we were able to park close and walk right in for a high top table. The beer selection was delectable, and I of course love a place that offers a flight. There's a little something for everyone. I wish I was more hungry, because the menu and the food being served to people around me looked AMAZING. That being said, as a Wisconsin girl, I HAD to order their spicy cheese curds. Would recommend to a friend. Served hot, nice little kick (not too hot), good portion, and served with ranch for dipping. They also have a cinnamon cheese curd option that intrigued me, so I'll have to go back to try MORE. (See what I did there?) The service was fine, waitress clearly did not want to be there. EVERYTHING was branded (we're talking the chairs, the flight board, the paper that holds the silverware/napkin wraps together)...it was a bit much when they could be spending money on other things like the actual facility itself, but that's just me being weird & picky. I will definitely come back the next time I am in town!

Yelp
Oh my yum! Delicious food! My husband wanted to drop over here to pickup some beer and we decided to stay for lunch. We arrived at 11:30 on a Sunday and there were only about 4 other tables seated. Within 10 minutes the place was full and people were waiting for seating. Guess we got lucky! The food is fantastic. True Wisconsin style cheese curds, light and crispy, not heavy at all. My salad was delicious and I had a little of the burger which was excellent as well. We will definitely be back here and next time we will bring the kids. Lots of families dining on Sunday. Not sure if that's normally the case, but my kids would love the menu as well.

Yelp
I went to this place for the first time thanks to a friend who loves breweries. I went last night and tried their Wisconsin cheese curds and Nashville Hot chicken sandwich. My friend tried three tasting-size hazy IPAs, and I got the non-alcoholic beer which came in a cute and artsy can. The interior is chill and vibey. I loved the logo of this place. The service was quick. As for the food, the cheese curds were delicious! I loved the light batter that was thin, crispy, airy, and fluffy with gooey cheese inside! Every bite hit the spot until the cheese hardened, and it was a little too salty for me. Just eat them all before the cheese hardens. The Nashville Hot chicken sandwich was meh. My first bite of the brioche bun was hard (the bottom part). The chicken had a nice crispy texture. Most bites were juicy and tender. But it was inconsistent. My last bite was very dry. The seasoning was very bland. The texture was good overall, but the flavor was not there. I don't think it's worth the value, but their sweet potato waffle fries were crispy and delicious. I sipped my friend's drinks, and the KISS hazy IPA (?) was really good. I got the non-alcoholic beverage for the first time, and it was better than expected. A cute place that I'd go back to for drinks if I'm in the area.

Yelp
Great selection of micro brews from them as well as several others in area. Very good Indian food selection which wasn't expected in this type of establishment.

Yelp
I gotta say that this one visit to More Brewing in Villa Park hit all the marks. For me to give the full 5 stars is pretty impressive - especially for a first visit, but this place got it done today. I didn't catch the name of our bartender, but she deserves a lot of the credit. The menu features many brew pub favorites... a big burger, a Nashville chicken sandwich, cheese curds, a giant pretzel, a Cubano sandwich, etc... you can get these standards at every brew pub in the city... we decided instead to ask our bartender what was good? If you're dealing with someone that actually enjoys their job and likes the food at their restaurant, than this is the way to go, but it's a 50/50 possibility. Luckily, our barmaid was a fan of her establishment. She steered us away from the "safe choices" and told us to get the Korean Wings and the Chicken Tikka Masala platter. The wings were - hands-down - some of the best I've ever had.... I feel like I need to write that again.. these. wings. were. legit. This took my wife and I totally by surprise, but after we ordered them, the bartender hinted that we were gonna be happy.. They were huge, juicy wings that were tossed in a gochujang sauce and topped with that they called a kimchi remoulade?!? Which was basically like a vinegar based Yum Yum sauce. The breading on these wings stayed crispy.. and EVERY bite was the perfect balance of crispy breading, delicious juicy chicken and sauce.. I could've eaten 8 more, but we had the Tikki Masala on deck.... The platter came with naan, rice and a nice dish of perfectly cooked chicken thigh (?) drowning in a savory Tikka Masala sauce. The chicken melted in your mouth. The naan was warm and crispy, and served as a great vehicle to pile on the rice and chicken for a great bite of food. The sauce itself was sweeter than other Masala sauces I've had, but it was very nice.. and had a nice bit of spice on the back end. Almost forgot about the beer.. my wife ordered the Villa Pils, and it was very nice. Crisp and light with a subtle sweet aftertaste that was there for a second, but still allowed for a dry finish. Really good. I'm a big fan of a nice Porter, so I opted for a pint of their Zumwalt Imperial Porter. Also, very good.. with a great mouth feel, rich and bold, but with a nice dry finish. A beer I would keep in my fridge at home. These are the best meals, and this is why Yelp! is essential for anyone who loves to eat and drink. We were on our way home from an event and we just needed a quick bite to eat and drink. I did a quick Yelp! search and picked this spot based on it's rating. 15 years ago we're stopping for fast food at a national chain just to fill a void. Because of this app, the quick stop for lunch turns into an experience. It's a good thing I don't live close to Villa Park because I'd have a serious problem with those wings.. the beer was great. The service was great. The place itself was harmless enough... but those damn wings were reason enough to go back.. Well done More Brewing!

Yelp
Great chicken sandwich, burger & cheese curds! We aren't big beer drinkers but would go just for the food.

Yelp
I love going here for the variety of brews. They have their staples but the rest of the drink menu does change from time to time. They brew seasonal beers too. One of the best parts is that they stock ice cold brews in huge coolers. There is always a nice variety. My daughter usually has their burgers which she says are amazing. I stick th the healthier chicken sandwiches and they are equally amazing. Different types of fries too. Most of the time the service is really good. You have to give it a try to see and taste for yourself.

Yelp
10/10 recommend the burger. Nice brewery, a little pricey but solid. Many beer options to choose from including a selection from other local breweries. Take a pass on the wings (too slimy-yuck) and tandoori chicken sandwich( just meh) but go for the burger and the beef sandwich. Also the salads looked excellent!

Yelp
We stopped in on a Saturday evening around 8 p.m. to pick up one of the April releases for my son's friend. We decided to also have some drinks and appetizers. The place was hopping and there were five parties ahead of us. There was a place to wait and also gave us time to peruse the small gift shop and beers in the coolers. We were seated within 10 minutes, probably would have been sooner, but the receptionist was also the busser and waiter and handled multiple responsibilities with ease and remained calm. My husband and son tried a few beers, which they enjoyed and I tried a peach cider. The cider from Door County , was served ice cold and was probably one of the best I have tried. The food was ok, and was not impressive. We tried the beef egg rolls. There was plenty of beef, but it lacked cheese , even though the description stated it had chihuahua cheese. The beef and egg roll combination, did not mix well. We also had the sliders and they were ok. The pickles were larger than the patty and not all of the sliders had cheese. We also had the bacon cinnamon cheese curds. Of the three selections this was probably the best, but not great. Some curds were loaded with cinnamon, others had none and they were greasy. We may just have hit an off night for food based on other reviews.

Yelp
Great place, good food. They are explaining. People drive from far to this place to hang out.

Yelp
Very crowded on weekends, food was average but not exceptional, being a foodie I get very disappointed when I dont get a decent meal on a weekend in a restaurant. I would go again for the beer and may be a couple of appetizers. Overall a decent place to hangout with friends over a few drinks but dont go if you are really hungry and are craving good food !

Yelp
Good food and drinks to choose from, can't go wrong in what you select. The restaurant is lively. Must try the hamburgers!!

Yelp
Nice beer selection and tasty dining options! We have had decent service every time. It gets a little loud in there but noise is the only down side to this establishment.

Yelp
I've been here several times-mainly to try a couple or to pick up beer to go-but a recent visit for a late lunch during this fun Chicagoland February was noteworthy. In terms of craft taprooms, this is one to visit! Really good food and their variety of beers is such that any beer drinker will find a go-to and try something new. Dusty, a pale New England ale, was particularly tasty as is the Blueberry Shambles (their fruit flavored beers and Milkshake IPAs are amongst the best around), while the R U Kidding Me? a traditional NE IPA was solid. Food-wise, the pork street tacos were tasty and the green and red salsas were perfect in terms of heat and added flavor. Salmon burger was very good as well-a generous sized patty with good bread/sauce/veggie accompaniment.
