Absolutely fantastic dog-friendly bistro just outside Tallinn’s Old Town! We’ve been twice and were blown away each time—innovative, beautifully presented dishes made with top-quality ingredients, excellent drinks, and warm, professional service that made us (and our dog) feel truly welcome. The atmosphere is bright, cozy, and relaxed, and even large dogs will be comfortable here. Every dish we tried—from the homemade focaccia, pasta, the hanger steak, and crispy chicken—was Michelin-level quality at incredibly reasonable prices. The wine list is extensive and well-curated, and the atmosphere invites relaxed conversations at any time of day. Morel feels like the Friends series café the perfect place to meet up, with the added bonus of a delightful gastronomic touch.

Great experience at this small, low key restaurant located in a residential neighborhood. We tried the flat fish which was like velvet. Mushroom ravioli were equally delicious. My Italian syrah Nadir Tenuta was one of the best, bold, big reds I had in a while. Staff is super friendly, many locals enjoyed the terrific lunch specials. Highly recommended.

With food, what ultimately matters is the taste. At Morel, you won’t find the trendiest atmosphere or the most experimental dishes, but you will enjoy a modern bistro cuisine that delivers a truly profound and satisfying flavour experience. From the onion soup to the white fish crudo, the hanger steak, and even the fries, everything was perfectly cooked. A place I’ll definitely return to, especially since the menu changes frequently.

The brunch here was fantastic, definitely in my top few in Tallinn. We had a group of 9 plus a few kids, so it was great to have a private room. The service was quick and friendly, and the food was delicious. I’ll be recommending it to friends 👏

We are just amazed! It was the best service in Estonia we received yet (only here for three nights). Food was delicious! Can recommend the starter with tomatoes and burrata. Would definitely go here again!
