The food was good. However, in our experience the service was lacking attention and sub par. The Food: Mussels in a white wine sauce were fairly good, questionable freshness among a few, but large in size and tasty. The wings were a little crispy, but had a good Buffalo flavor. The Lion’s Mane “Crab cake” was a well done version of a vegan crab cake with mushroom. I was surprised with the comparable consistency to a real crab cake. The Service: Being in the service industry myself, I give a lot of leeway. However, we were greeted by one server who took our apps and disappeared, then was doing what looked like to be roll ups at the table behind us and stopped serving us to maybe take a break. Another server picked up our table after 15-20 minutes of just waiting to be served/refilled, acted like nothing happened, and finally took our main course order. Very disappointed and unprofessional even if it was a shift change. One last small note, a full tavern should have something simple like soda guns. I was charged $4 per can of soda with no refills. Seems a bit odd and pricey at a tavern.

A good neighborhood spot to hang out, potentially drinks and bar food. The outdoor space is great so on those nice days this is the go to spot. The food is a bit lackluster, however I only had the wings and fries. I will be back to try other things and will update as necessary. Everyone is friendly and the service is really good.

Great food with a great atmosphere. Food is a combination of modern comfort foods that hit the spot right on the head. Drinks were refreshing and the staff were kind and insightful.

It's a really nice place, located near residential areas. The staff is super nice and kind. They offer draft beer so you have the choice to ask for a free sample of each one before ordering. Food is nothing out of the ordinary, but was really good and fast. One way of describing food is "what you are used to, but in a better way. The only downside is that you have to make reservations to dine inside, otherwise you have to stay at the bar.

One of the best burgers I've had in a while! My partner and I stopped by for a late lunch and I got the smash burger with tots and was just blown away by the quality of the meat and the overall balance of flavors! The flourless cake for dessert was super rich too. Great food plus great and friendly staff means I definitely have to come back and try more of the menu!

The food was just okay. The food was warm but bland, and the kids' chicken meal is the spongy feezer kind, not real chicken breast. And the kids' meal was $10 and mostly fries! You would think you'd at the very least get real freaking meat or even hand branded. The pretzels we ordered ($7) were a very small loaf. I'm talking barely hand-sized. My husband also found someone's facial hair in his burger. Our waiter was even worse. He barely checked on us, talked super quiet, left our water empty for the entire meal, and acted like we were an inconvenience. He failed to inform us that we needed to tell him upfront to split the check, and he also failed to ask us until after the bill was requested and delivered. The hostess who sat us and the girl who actually delivered our food and condiments were very nice. I would have preferred them over the guy we ended up with. While the patio was clean and comfortable, you can get much better food and service for a much better price elsewhere. I'm just saying if you are of a certain demographic in a certain tax bracket, you'll probably have a great time here. For the general public, I would recommend avoiding this place if you can help it.

Was told 30 minutes to be seated for 3, waited an hour and got sandwiches from a cafe across the street before we got a call asking if we were still waiting. They could see us waiting the whole time, we were right there. The food is good if they'll serve you.

We came here because it is close to the nature center. It's clear that it's a neighborhood spot because we were not the only family with a kid in the restaurant! We were immediately seated and given water. The restaurant is pretty small, but it seemed like the staff moved quickly. We never felt rushed (there was no wait), but service was prompt. Definitely 5 stars there. We ordered tots for my son. My husband got a burger and I ordered the fried catfish sandwich. As soon as I ordered it, I had second thoughts. I'm from Texas. I know what good fried catfish should taste like. Would it stack up this far north? I had hopes, but knew it probably wouldn't. The tots were on point. I was glad that there were leftovers and we were able to take them home. They were perfectly fried and delicious. My husband loved his burger. Raved about it. If you come here, get a burger. You won't be disappointed. You may be disappointed if you get the catfish sandwich. When I first saw it, I thought, "Oh gosh, this thing is burnt or was cooked in old oil... or maybe it's over seasoned." It was none of those things. It was bland and I have no idea why the breading is so dark and basically tasteless (its the piece that is so dark it almost looks like bacon). The tots and side salad made up for it, but I was unimpressed. I have a feeling it was a fluke as other people seemed to polish off their plates. There were several people who were clearly frequent flyers. The food and service are good. But I'd probably try something else. Or roll the dice and hope that my experience was mine alone. All in all, worth returning to for sure. It looks like they have a nice patio for those gorgeous spring days. If you're undecided on where to eat, try here. And order extra tots.
