Morena Belgravia

A popular brunch spot tucked away in Eccleston Yards with casual decor offering outdoor and indoor seatings. Matcha seems to be the signature drinks as it offers several variations of matcha drinks, in both iced or hot options - I ordered a hot matcha latte with earl grey syrup which is lovely. The food, though took slightly longer to arrive, was great. The breakfast burrito was freshly made and filled with scrambled eggs, black beans and hash brown, with a serve of guacamole and hot sauce (definitely hot!) ; my friend opted for the seasonal special pumpkin spiced butter pancakes which consists of 4 buttery pancakes with both pumpkin spiced cream and sour apple puree which she enjoyed too! Overall though service on the slower side, it’s a nice brunch spot to stop by and catch up with friends!

I went because I was told it was amazing but did not get that experience! I made a reservation for just me and was not help until 40 minutes after I sat down, there wasn’t really anyone around and it was a bit confusing after I finally asked if I could order they seemed confused as I was alone even though I had a reservation for just one. I ended up getting the wrong drink but luckily they got that taken care of. The Maple Latte was absolutely amazing! I got the french toast and it was ok not great, the portion was huge probably could have fed two people! The hashbrowns with the sauce were also amazing! Just disappointed about my experience because I had heard great things and it was an almost $50 bill for just me! Just things to be aware of I saw groups there having a great experience could have been a one time thing! The place was decorated gorgeously and the outside is secluded which creates for a safe relaxing environment!

The wild mushroom toastie was my favourite. Tiramisu french toast was essentially nutella toast + a coffee flavoured cream on the side. It’s good, but I wouldn’t call it tiramisu. Earl grey matcha was too sweet for me. Service was lovely.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had a wonderful breakfast here! The food was fresh, well-prepared, and served quickly. What really made the experience exceptional was our server, Ilona — she was warm, attentive, and had great timing without ever feeling rushed. She made sure we was okay at all times. Her friendly attitude set a positive tone for the whole meal. I’ll definitely be coming back — and asking for Ilona next time!

We had a wonderful visit to Morena cafe as first time visitors. Food was incredible, we had the apple pie pancakes, birria sandwich and tiramisu french toast. Good size portions, not too long of a wait. Our server Ilona was lovely, very friendly and attentive!

The food was really good, i tried the seasonal ones-pumpkin spice latte and pancakes. I like that they were not super sweet, just the perfect amount and very yummy. The only negative i can say if you are sitting inside it was extremely loud (probably because there were big groups of people all talking loud at the same time) which was hard to enjoy. Outside should be nice but i guess in the summer

Had a lovely brunch here! The staff are so nice and welcoming, we were served by Mariano, Carla, Vanessa, Joanna and Elena who were great at recommending and attentive. Thanks so much for a great experience :)

I had a lovely experience at this breakfast/brunch spot! The food was super fresh and delicious, I had the “Avocado Toast”, and was not disappointed, tasty and great portion size too! The service, and our waitress ilona, was outstanding, really friendly and accommodating. Amazing food and excellent service, will be returning!
