St. John Should Be Your Next Culinary Destination

"Perhaps it was the same pulse that led me to make an unrecoverable traveler’s error at Morgan’s Mango, when I happened into one of the restaurant’s coveted reservations. Every Tuesday and Saturday, dependent, according to owner Carlos Di Blasi, on the whims of the sea, the restaurant rolls out the Caribbean lobster special — grilled locally caught lobster with melted compound butter, plantains, rice, and black beans. Guests pile in for the lobster, and for the lore. “We had, in 2015, a fire that shut us down for eight months,” Di Blasi said. “And then, in 2017, we were hit by the storm.” The restaurant, Di Blasi said, never used to be booked weeks in advance. Now, good luck to those who haven’t made their plans prior to arrival. (Even better luck to those who have passed the lobster up, as I did, despite my server’s warning that I would regret it — which I immediately did.)" - Hannah Selinger

My boyfriend and I came here on our first night in St. John. We didn’t have a reservation, so we grabbed seats at the bar—and I’m so glad we did! The atmosphere was welcoming, the service was excellent, and the food ended up being the best we had during our entire trip. My boyfriend ordered the coconut shrimp, and I had the catch of the day (Salmon)with the ginger-lemon-soy sauce, absolutely delicious! I also tried the Mango Colada, which was perfectly balanced not watered down like at other places, and you could actually taste the alcohol. We took home a slice of the Key Lime pie for dessert. Hands down, this was our favorite spot out of everywhere we ate during our stay. Highly recommend!

Our group of 4 had a reservation Morgan’s Mango for dinner and just as well. A very busy spot, and great ambience! I had an Irma 2017 cocktail. A tasty fruity orgeat rum drink. My wife had a tuna ( good except stringy ) and swordfish main. I had a vegan soup and mahi mahi for my main. Mine was excellent For dessert, my buddy had bread pudding and I had the best Key Lime pie ever!

The empanada and scallop appetizers were a delicious way to start our meal. My wife had the coconut-panko grouper and it was out of this world! My ribeye was cooked well but lacked seasoning. Excellent service.

This is a must visit. Make you reserva5ions early. We sat at a table inside. Laid back environment with grewat service and food. Oit waiter dis an amaz8ng job accomodating us. I ordered the Surf and Turn with th rib eye and the Sea bass. I hate fish but I ate the entire dish. That should tell you how good the meal was. They were als9.k9md enough to bring the fish on a separate plate since my better half is a pescatarian. We started with some chipas and Cajun shrimp. My better half had the veggie plate. The qiouna was fire! We finished our meal with some sweets. Key lime pie is the best I have had. The key lime pie martini is also just as amazing. I had the summer lager first followed by a glass of rose with my entree. 5 stars all around!

2nd floor restaurant with tropical setting. Large open air deck surrounded by palms creates enticing atmosphere. Attentive service from server Julie. Delicious tuna tartar as well as main courses( wahoo, filet) although mains were slightly over cooked- both steak and fish were supposed to be medium & medium rare but came cooked closer to well. Regardless, both the flavors and textures were still very good. Chimichurri sauce was delicious but a little over powering - request sauce on the side next time.

We came for the lobster and it did not disappoint. The hubs ordered a 1.5 pound serving and there was enough to share with our table of four. Our son ordered grilled swordfish with chimichurri sauce and my daughter and I shared the ribeye. We also ordered four rolls, the ceviche and a salad to share and the hubs and I each tried a cocktail and a glass of wine with dinner. We did have a reservation and I believe that people without a reservation were turned away. Our server was great, stand offish but attentive, almost annoyingly so. We had a 530 reservation and many people in our section were seated at the same time so we waited a while for drinks and to order but as soon as we ordered the food was paced well and came out quickly. The mezcal aperol cocktail was a highlight, along with the lobster. We also loved that the rolls came with house made herbed butter. The meal was a splurge but didn't disappoint and became a highlight of our stay on st john.

Google
The food was great! This was probably the only place on the island that made mojitos and they were delicious. The snapper ceviche, tuna tartare, and tres leches were my favorites but everything else was also good. Only slight issue was our waitress either forgot to put in our order for the cheese rolls or the kitchen didn’t make them. I also wanted to mention to management that Ben was not a server but he should be! Super nice guy, very knowledgeable about the food, and he had the best attitude. He seemed like he enjoyed working there and interacting with people. Overall great experience and will come back.

Nestled in the heart of Cruz Bay, Morgan's Mango is a vibrant gem that perfectly captures the flavors of the Caribbean with a touch of elegance. My recent dining experience here was nothing short of exceptional, with standout dishes that left a lasting impression. The Costa Rican Sea Bass with Chimichurri was the star of the evening. Perfectly seared and incredibly tender, the sea bass melted in my mouth, while the bright and herbaceous chimichurri added a refreshing zing that elevated the dish to new heights. The balance of flavors was impeccable, and the freshness of the ingredients truly shone through. For dessert, I indulged in the Key Lime Pie with White Chocolate Frosting, and it was nothing short of heavenly. The tartness of the key lime filling was beautifully complemented by the rich and creamy white chocolate frosting, creating a decadent yet perfectly balanced finish to the meal. Every bite was a delightful blend of sweet and tangy, leaving me craving more. Beyond the incredible food, the ambiance at Morgan's Mango is warm and inviting, with friendly service that makes you feel right at home. Whether you're a seafood lover or simply looking to enjoy an unforgettable meal on the island, this spot is a must-visit. I can't wait to return and explore more of their Caribbean-inspired menu.

Yelp
The food, service and cocktails were amazing. We attended their bi-weekly lobster special that allied you to order lobsters in quarter-pound increments up to as high as a 6 pounder!! Definitely worth a visit and reserve early!!

Yelp
We celebrated a lovely birthday dinner at Morgan's Mango and would do it all over again! You definitely need a reservation, whether your party is big or small, this place fills up from the time they open to the time they close! Even the bar takes reservations! We skipped apps and went straight to dinner and it did not disappoint! The portions are large and filling so come hungry! I had the coconut crusted grouper and it was absolutely delicious. My one critique is that the side of veggies was a bit undercooked for me, most were still hard. A few others in my group for the surf and turf dinner special and the lobster was cooked perfectly and super tasty. Probably hopped out of the ocean that morning! We "forced" ourselves to get dessert and opted for the key lime pie. It was delicious! Perfect amount of crust and filling and super tasty! It is also the biggest pie I've ever seen! The staff was super great and attentive. Always filling glasses and checking in. Couldn't have asked for a better celebration spot! Definitely would recommend for a more upscale dinner on St. John!

Yelp
Absolutely AMAZING food! My husband and I ate at Morgan's Mango for our first anniversary and everything was exceptional- from the service, to the atmosphere, to the food! The paella was the best I've had, better than Barcelona and Madrid! The Mango Colada drinks were sweet, refreshing, and filling. The Key Lime Pie was also one of the best I've ever had! Our server was also amazing and well versed with the menu. We ordered based off his recommendations and everything he recommended was spot-on! 5 stars!! Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
What a great first meal in St John! Our server was Julie and she was fantastic. This was lobster night (Tues Sat) and it is tail meat, easy to pull, side of plantains and rice and beans. We had empanadas and ceviche which were delicious. Drinks were good too But you MUST get the key lime pie We were exhausted after a day of travel and this was what we needed Dress - we saw everything from shorts and nice tees to casual formal. Men mostly shorts with collared shirts. Make a reservation a month in advance for dinner if larger party Would go again!

Yelp
3 of the 4 of us ordered the same thing we do every time (grouper). None of us ate the veggies that we usually love; they were ice cold at 5:30pm. 1 did not eat the grouper. All 4 thought it was tough and chewy. 2 of the 3 that ordered grouper got violently ill. Even the service went downhill (no one came to follow-up after we received the entrees). Definitely not the same (after MANY years of consistency). So sad.

Yelp
From the moment Amanda (hostess) answered the phone and found a way for us to be seated for party of 2 on short notice, that set the tone. Justin the bartender was excellent, followed by the food and service. This is our favorite restaurant on St. John and eat here every time we visit!
google avatar

Yelp
Still great! Our family had reservations for the first seating of the night and had a great experience. The customer service was good and the food is SO GOOD. I returned to my favorite dish from their menu: coconut panko-crusted grouper. So glad I didn't do an appetizer! Pro tip: Use their web reservation system (email). Worked out great for us by emailing at the beginning of our stay when we hadn't booked all of our adventures yet so we had maximum flexibility as this was a "must do" for us. Speaking of "musts," you MUST save room for their epic key lime pie! Best I have ever had.

Yelp
Came here for dinner while visiting St. John. Service was good, nice ambience though note it's an outdoor restaurant... I personally could have used bit more of a breeze. Though there are fans. We started off with the lamb, asked for medium well but came out more in the medium side... wish it was cooked more. For main course, I had the catch of the day (gosh I forgot name of the white fish), it was okay... I don't think the mango rum sauce went well with the fish. Husband had the paella which he enjoyed. Best thing I enjoyed was the pomegranate pear martini.

Yelp
Years ago, a friend brought us here, but I have to say I didn't remember it being this incredible of a space. Tucked away next to Mongoose Junction, yet completely open with a Saint John vibe...but with glass instead of solo cups. :D We went on Tuesday, which was the Lobster Special day and the four of us each got 1lb lobsters (asked to be taken out of the shell), with the VERY best beans, rice and plantains I've had in a long while. For that, plus the bread basket and 3 drinks, the bill was under $250...a STEAL on an island that is not known for cheap prices. MM may have just become my request next time on island, but if you're lucky enough to be there now, stop in and check out this incredible place.

Yelp
Really good food and service- one of the classiest places to go on St John. Drinks were good and wife enjoyed her halibut. I had a seafood dish that was tasty and well prepared. A good choice.

Yelp
Update.... The owner reached out to us and did the right thing. We had a wonderful dinner, the service was excellent and the food was great. I would definitely recommend dining at Morgan's Mango.

Yelp
Very good Restaurant. RESERVATIONS NEEDED, even in slow season. made a reservation late the day of and lucky enough to get last two seats at the bar . Prior to arrival we received a text that our seats were available, upon arrival the bar seating ( and restaurant) was very crowded. once we squeezed into our bar seats a little flustered, everything quickly slid into place with war welcome from bartender and dedicated food waiter behind the bar . our drinks were very good , and food service came timed perfectly . We had the empanada appetizer which was Excellent, and each a fresh a 1 lb and 1.5 lobster ( very fresh , tender and sweet ) For dessert a Delicious large slice Key lime Pie . i would definitely highly recommend this restaurant while on St. john's . there's also a nice local shop area right next door at Moongoose Junction if you arrive early for your reservation.

Yelp
My wife and I heard about this restaurant from a number of sources including the VRBO-owner, so we made a reservation for 5:30 (right when they open) and we had the loveliest time. Our server - I'm embarrassed I don't remember his name - was phenomenal. There was another lady dressed in a gown and she also helped us - this restaurant has the most amazing service to back up their 32-year reputation. The food was perfection and service was impeccable. My wife had their catch of the day and I had the pork loin. Both dishes were literally the best food we have had while dining out in ages - restaurants in the lower 48 could learn from Morgan's Mango. Their famous key lime pie is a game changer. It's amazing and is the only key lime pie I will ever eat. Seriously - it's so good. Unfortunately we didn't take any photos of our food so you'll have to take our word for it and make a reservation because you will not regret it. My wife and I dressed up a little for dinner - I guess island dress-up with collared shirt for me and cute dress for her - but overall it's casual and friendly. If we are ever so fortunate as to get to come back to St. John, this will be the one restaurant we will visit again. Simply the best.

Yelp
Highly encourage making reservations cause there is a constant flow of people dining in. The restaurant looks very nice on the inside. Staff is friendly and attentive. We came in as a party of ten, so accomating large groups is not a problem. Started off with a couple of mango mojitos and it was one of the best mojitos I've ever had in my life. I ordered the cheese bread and the lobster soup to start. Cheese bread were ok, nothing spectacular. The soup was flavorful however the pieces of shrimp they used could have been better, they were overcooked for a soup. Moving right along to the main dish. The lobster was out of this world. Probably some of the best grilled lobster I've had. Everything on this island in terms of sit down restaurants are all overpriced. Overall it was a great experience and the food was delicious.

Yelp
We were there for lobster night, so it was a little crazy, but not too bad. Service was very good, very professional. We had the lobster & catch of the day. Both were cooked well. Sides are strange. Beans in a broth (aka soup) without a spoon. Salsa same issue. And who is going to eat corn on the cob in a fancy restaurant? Way too messy. Rice didn't stand out at all, but maybe that was the point. Bread pudding was very tasty. Now, I'm fed up with the extra charge for a credit card. This was a $200 tab. If I start walking around with a large wad of $100 bills, the DEA will be visiting our resort. That fact alone just got them crossed off our list of places to go to.

Yelp
The food and service were excellent. Extremely large portions of food. I recommend sharing an entree. The appetizers would easily serve two people. I had a conch tomato soup that was delicious. Reservations were a pain to secure. They want cc guarantee- no where else we dined on StJ was like this. No sunset views and no valet parking. But a lovely restaurant

Yelp
With a lot of places still closed, I was excited that Morgan's Mango was open so had to give it a try. Literally everyone at my hotel was heading there as well, so maybe I over hyped this place in my head. First thought - open air restaurant - with a vibrant vibe. Things tried: - tuna tataki: the night's special and it was amazing! Flavors danced in my mouth - yucca chips : they were good, but not sure it was worth the price - lobster: the waitress recommended 1.5lbs, but tbh I think you should get what you feel is right. I ordered as recommended and left with more than half of the lobster. It was good, but Caribbean lobster tends to be a bit more chewy compared to Maine lobster. The sides the accompanied the lobster were ok. The beans and rice were a tad bland but the plantains were delish. Key lime pie: I kind of regret getting this. It was sooo sweet and lacked tart. Wasn't the way I wanted to end dinner. All in all I'm glad I tried Morgan's Mango, but my experience was just ok. Aside from the appetizer, food was ok. Service was also just ok.

Michael A.

Yelp
Great restaurant and experience. Staff very friendly and helpful with selections. Food is awesome. I had the sea bass with mango sauce and the next night the lobster. Both were excellent. Spouse had the pork both nights also excellent. Great atmosphere for an island bar. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Great food, ambiance and class... staff were attentive and the food was excellent, especially with the limited menus in St John. Will return for sure!!!

Yelp
It is by far the best resturant on the island!. I've been coming to St John every year for the last 15 years and it doesn't disappoint. I'm in the industry and I'm amazed that I've never had a bad or ok meal. I would go as far as saying it's the best restaurant in the Caribbean. The Pork is amazing and save room for desert. Key West has nothing on Morgan's Key Lime Pie! I truly can't say enough about this restaurant, but your vacation isn't complete without it.
google avatar

Yelp
Most recent dinner was outstanding...all the way around. Everything was super fresh, served hot, and expertly prepared. Easy to see why this is always at the top of best-of lists. The place was packed, so snag a reservation if going in high season. (request a table by the railing if you want a street view) The friendly woman answering the phone for reservations sets the tone and was accommodating.

Yelp
We've been to the island several times and finally went to visit Morgan's Mango for dinner. We were able to call early the day of and get an early 5:30 pm reservation for our party of five. The restaurant opens at 5:30 and there were several people waiting to either walk up or for reservations. We were quickly seated and our server came over quickly to ask about drinks and appetizers. We were seated further back in the restaurant and had a nice view of the restaurant. It's an open air restaurant with fans - just what one would want for an island dinner. Our table ordered some bread baskets, lamb lollipops, and some of the soups they had - one had seafood, the other had leeks and potatoes - both very very good. The bread is served with some sort of chive butter and tasted super fresh. For our entrees, most of us ordered some sort of fish entree but the two highlighted are the fish of the day and the "infamous coconut crusted grouper." The fish of the day was light, flavorful and seemed fresh. I really wanted to like the coconut crusted grouper but it was honesty so sweet. I've had many coconut crusted fish recipes before and none of them were as sweet as this. It did come with some sort of sauce on the side that helped, but not entirely (especially not for the price point). We finished the evening with some espresso martinis and shared the recommended key lime pie - both very very good. Overall, it was a great dining experience and we'd be interested in coming back to try some of their other dishes for dinner.

Yelp
Great food and great service. We went on a lobster night and it was fantastic. Don't miss out on the Keylime pie also. We sat at the bar and watched them mix some amazing drinks!

Yelp
Took an evening sail to St John from St Thomas. Decided to go Morgan's Mango for dinner. We didn't have reservations, the hostess said she would have a table in 20 mins, so we waited. We say an empty table up the stairs when we arrived, guess where the hostess sat us 20 mins later? You got it, the same empty table. I'm not a seafood fan but my family is. I ordered a steak and it was highly under prepared. My family said the seafood was well prepared. You don't go to seafood restaurant to get a well prepared steak. The service was great and the environment was great. We would return in the future.
google avatar

Beth D.

Yelp
Unfortunately had to sit at bar, but service was still attentive and quick. Went on lobster night - super tasty. Would love to come again and sit in the coastal dining room.

Yelp
Key lime pie was the best we've ever had. Came back again just to get it to go! Dinner was great-portions weren't super large so order accordingly.

Yelp
Beautiful restaurant, you feel like you're dining in a tree house. Service was excellent as was the food! I got the paella which was amazing and an excellent portion.

Yelp
My Yelper peeps...if you're vacationing, or on holiday, in this beautiful island and you haven't tried this magnificent place to experience fine dining at its best, well then you just haven't lived the full experience. Had the opportunity to get a reservation and it just simply did not disappoint. Drinks check. First course apps, check. Main course, absofreakinglutely, check. There are a few pics from the main course provided for your food porn pleasure. The appetizers just didn't have a chance. The after-dinner espresso hit the spot, but not quite as good as the bread pudding - it was just simply made with bread, pudding and a whole lotta love..wow! Gordon Ramsey would approve. Service was great. Everything was brought in time and to perfection. It just made for a truly fine dining experience. Well played Morgan's Mango. We'll be back.

Yelp
Two thumbs up make sure you go lobster Tuesday or Saturday. Great drinks great service. Be sure to make reservations.

Yelp
We are in vacation mode for sure - enjoying the day, and finding a great place to eat in the evening. Morgan's Mango was recommended by a few folks so we took a cab from the Westin....it's on a narrow street across the ferry port - and it's lovely. Just what we wanted for night 1. You walk up a flight of outdoor stairs, you hear the noise of people enjoying in the outdoor air, you smell the great food. Good start. We had an open table mixup - uh oh- no reservation - that could be a HUGE ISSUE - but here's where it gets good - we met the most lovely hostess - she was nice, patient, personable and let us fumble around in our phone looking for the reservation - but then she took matters into her own hands -she made us a reservation for 45 minutes later, set up four seats at the bar and puff - problem solved. Turns out she was from our hometown- and it just goes to show you - if everyone starts with kind, nice and understanding, problems are not so big.....so chill, think through and go sit at the bar :) The bar was great - the two guys there were funny and made wonderful drinks - and we also had the tuna tartare and lamb lollipops- both were stellar. We were sat 45 minutes later - lots of things on the menu - but get the fish - it was hilarious that salmon was on the fresh catch menu (I mean - seriously - in the Caribbean?). But the corvina, striped bass, mahi - holy cow. We had a great server. Soup was lobster, corn, shrimp, potato - very very good. A touch spicy but in a good way. The fish - these folks have some serious game in how they cook fish - it was perfect. If I have ONE nit - I would say chimichurri does not go on fish - I tried, I tried to be open but no - it's for steak - but the mango salsa and ginger soy were really good. Flourless cake for dessert was a nice finish - Bravo to his team - it was fantastic

Yelp
A Disastrous Evening at Morgan's Mango Our evening at Morgan's Mango on December 8, 2024, took a disastrous turn after what should have been a pleasant dinner. After a delicious meal and a bottle of wine, we politely requested a taxi from the hostess. Instead of assisting us, she dismissively stated that a taxi would be available within 5 minutes, just down the steps and across the street. After a frustrating 30-minute wait, a young man suggested we walk to the ferry terminal, assuring us that a taxi would be readily available there. Disappointedly, we found no taxis at the terminal. Upon returning to the restaurant, we discovered that some employees were still present. We asked the hostess once again for assistance, specifically requesting that she call our hotel to arrange a shuttle or taxi. However, she refused, insisting that we use our own phones despite the lack of service in the area. By 10:15 PM, a staff member from Morgan's Mango begrudgingly walked to the ferry terminal to find a taxi. Unfortunately, he returned empty-handed, avoiding our gaze as he approached. This lack of transparency and empathy was deeply unsettling. Stranded and frustrated, we walked where we finally had service arriving well past 10 PM. Upon reaching the hotel, we learned that the concierge had made our 7:30 PM reservation at Morgan's Mango. The hotel staff expressed concern about our late return, advising us to avoid taxis after 9 pm to the property, yet it was the Concierge from the Westin property that made a 7:30 reservation. This entire ordeal was a shocking display of poor hospitality. The waitress at Morgans laughed at me when I again requested she call our hotel and repeatedly said use your own phone after telling her I wasn't getting service on my phone or my friend's phone. Morgan's Mango's indifference and lack of assistance left us feeling vulnerable and unsafe. We hope that the restaurant will take steps to rectify this situation and ensure that future guests are treated with the respect and care they deserve.

Yelp
We came here for a birthday dinner. The place was quite packed, but we made reservations a month in advance via email. They are very responsive to inquiries. They do lobster night on Saturdays but it's the clawless lobster and I think best part of lobster are the claws, so I opted for something different. For my drinks I tried The Phoenix and Manhattan. Both good. We then ordered Cajun shrimp and Morgan's ceviche. Excellent! For our meals we tried Seafood paella and grilled salmon. Paella was amazing! They made it with no butter or cream for me and I could eat this every day. Overall: prompt service, nice atmosphere, good food and drinks.

Yelp
A true fine dining experience in Cruz Bay that is still laid back and casual as you'd expect on St John. Refined well crafted menu options that use local Caribbean ingredients, fabulous cocktails, and a nice sunset view from their elevated open air seating. Definitely recommend if you are looking for an elevated dining experience in Cruz Bay. Their Caribbean lobster nights are a must do!

Yelp
For my group, a lot of us were happy with this place because of the food and reservation system. My grouper entree was amazing and different. Nicely cooked and flavorful. The drinks were delicious too. We arrived fairly late in the night for dinner, so a few items on the menu were sold out. Would totally come back here again for a meal!

Yelp
We made a reservation for Saturday night and glad that we did. There was long queue of people waiting to get a table. We ordered the Empanada de la casa and the bread basket to begin with, it was very good. We order the Lomo con chimi churri and lobster with saffron rice, beans and fried plantains every dish was scrumptious. We ordered the chocolate brownie to go.

Yelp
What's there to say about a well run machine. Place is beautiful, owner manager is on top of it. There's a great wait staff, shout outs Noel, Now for the food we had 2 salads, delicious dressing, and love the nuts and goat cheese. We had a lamb chops, not my cup of tea. Loved the tuna tar tar. For dinner 2 salmons with a soy ginger sauce. One person loved it the other should have had sauce on the side. Loved the coconut shrimp and the mahi mahi. Thanks for a fun night

Yelp
I should be punished for not upgrading Morgan's Mango years ago. Then again my wife may punish me anyways because I ordered a 3 pound lobster last night just for myself. I have to admit, I believe it was the very best lobster I've ever had in my life. It was a Caribbean lobster, in other words a lobster not having the so called so-called arms and claws. Although the main lobster may look more interesting, in truth the Caribbean is much easier to eat with. More so, the lobster I had even though 3 pounds was probably the sweetest lobster I've ever had. Don't ask me the price, trying to avoid my wife knowing what I did I am giving it five stars but in truth I would give it really 4 1/2, still a very nice complement. I love love love Morgan's Mango again, unfortunately there's a couple restaurants that I love even more. But I give a major two thumbs up when I point out that this usually is the first restaurant I go to when I come to St. John and it's the last restaurant I go to before I leave. I just have to tell you the truth I could give you a long talk about the restaurant items, but in truth there is not one item I've had there that I didn't love. As usual, in an island, everything is much more expensive. Ignore it, you're already there so just enjoy your vacation. If you forget about the dollars for a while you will love your trip and in this case love eating at Morgan's Mango

Yelp
Food was out of this world and we had the BEST waitress (Stefani). Would recommend the paella and the key like cheesecake they were both incredible. Catch of the day was also fantastic!

Yelp
This is a great place to eat in St. John. Reservation is highly suggested otherwise you won't get a table or even a seat at the bar. There was a line even before the place opened which is at 530 for dinner. Everything from the appetizers to main course and finishing off with dessert was exquisite. Our server/bartender Jason was very knowledgeable about the menu & kept checking in with us to make sure we were good. It's right by a little area where all the shops are near where they let you off at the docking station for the ferry. Food for everyone- meat eaters, vegetarians, & vegans.

Yelp
Fantastic meals & great service! My grouper was so tasty and incredibly tender along with the sides. My husband's tuna was fresh & awesome too.

Yelp
Spectacular meal during our trip to St John. Our server was amazing and really knowledgeable about the menu. The atmosphere is really cool. Be sure to save room for their key lime pie as it is delicious!!

Yelp
Love the atmosphere of this place! Great food - would recommend having your servers taste your wine so they can help guide our decision. My friends went back a second time the same week

Yelp
My wife and I had dinner here last night and it was amazing! I had 1.5 lbs of shelled Caribbean lobster with fried plantains and rice and beans. Hands down the best lobster I have ever had. Firm and sweet- delicious!! Also shared the Ceviche, Empanada and Risotto- all excellent!!

Yelp
I'll first start by saying; MAKE RESERVATIONS early! Meaning don't wait till the day before. Second, our waiter Chip was 10/10 best server around! He took the time to walk us through the menu and described with genuineness the dishes he recommended for us. Furthermore, the staff that helped him was also very kind, polite and just overall wonderful. The food. Best on the island. Every portion was amazing. They KNOW how to cook. Their dishes were flavorful and thought out - not thrown together. This will be our go to place. If you're on edge - just make the reservation- you won't regret it.

Yelp
Not a great dining experience: The good: 1. Nice retro vibe and good patio dining. 2. For the most part, the staff was friendly. The bad: 1. You are here for the food. Service was fast but the food was just okay. We received our plates and they were missing two key ingredients that the menu stated. We asked our server and she insisted that the ingredients were in the dish. Mind you, these were not spices, but key food ingredients that would have been visible and to taste. The seemingly inexperienced server could not have cared less. 2. The flat bottled water we ordered arrived with the seal broken and aged looking on all three bottles. Begs the question on the origin of the pricey water.

Outstanding atmosphere and amazing dinner. Definitely an island classic. One of my top three favorite places to dine on island. Lobster night is amazing. Service is outstanding.

Yelp
This place is really amazing. The staff is great and very helpful when looking at the menu. We were there on LobsterNIGHT!! And well what can I say ! Still tasting the delicious sweet LOBSTER! We enjoyed a beautiful sitting overlooking the area and there was a slight breeze and they had the fans on which made for great atmosphere. Wife had wine and I had one of the best DIRTY Martini since being at St Johns. We really enjoyed our meal and what a great ending for restaurants to end the trip. Going home tomorrow. And then came the FAMOUS Key Lime Pie. It was the best. I totally recommend this place and be sure to get reservations!!!!
