Neat idea. A stand alone food court. Also, it has a bar and some entertainment options. Indoor and outdoor seating with large spaces for moving around. Great for a college town. Individual shops/eateries that we visited were all pretty pricey.

From Raleigh, so wanted to finally check this place out while back in town. We tried as many places as time allowed. Would go back to try the pizza and the greek food since we missed the opportunity. Service at MSFH was lacking at many counters. Timing, awareness, and organization seemed a little stressed at more than one counter. Not here to be rude about it. But expect that when you go. Its expensive. I do get the appeal. Especially for a younger crowd. Or in our case before a concert. We would try it again. But we certainly will have lower expectations next time we go. Maybe we wont go on the weekend. Ice cream roll-must try. Taco place-top notch. Southern Kitchen-well ran and tasty. Great people watching.

Me and my boyfriend love coming here and trying all the different places to eat! All the places have good service but some have some lacking food qualities. Overall an exceptional place to go for a quick dine out! The atmosphere is very open and welcoming. A great place to hang with a loved one! 😊❤️

Google
The whole experience was very nice, 10/10 would recommend. Amazing place to sit with friends. And open till 11pm!! Went today and went to gym tacos!! Theres trivia questions that get asked to lighten the mood!

Google
There are several options of food along with desserts and drinks. The bathrooms are clean. The Food Hall is clean and has an axe throwing space as well. There are outdoor seats at tables and chairs. Some areas are covered. Nice laid back atmosphere that has many food options.

We ordered gyro chicken platter and pita wrap from Opa! Raleigh and margarita pizza from bare baked Absolutely delicious Chicken just melted in our mouth and pizza was mouthwatering A must visit if you are in the area

Google
Great place with an impressive variety of foods and things to do including axe throwing! I would absolutely love to come back. They do need more seating though as we had to stand in the very busy walkway to wait for food. This place is way better than the milwaukee public market back home

Google
This is a fun place to visit. Lots of food options. Kid friendly. Music is played both inside and out. The out door seating is the best! I recommend.

Yelp
Amazing building of food offerings! Savory to sweet, and even a wide range of drink options. The Employee's were all pretty friendly and helpful if you had questions. We opted for a few different places. Makus Empanadas, Boba Brew, The Bowls, and settled in at The Arbor Bar & Garden. Makus Empanadas was delicious. The empanada was packed with the filling and baked to perfection. My daughter really liked her Boba. The Bowls, amazing. You do order on a touch screen for this one which holds the line up a bit. The food was flavorful and so yummy. The Arbor Bar & Garden has indoor and outdoor seating. December, so we opted for inside. The bartender was hilarious and it made for a great spot. The drinks were pretty good too. Overall, a great place to go with friends due to the wide range of food options.

Yelp
Lots of food options here! There are indoor and outdoor seating available. Street parking and small parking lots available. My favorite of all the restaurants is Gym Taco! The service was quick and the food was delicious! I would definitely recommend this place to try out of food and it's a great place for everyone to be able to get what they want!

Yelp
Only found street parking so unsure if they have a dedicated parking lot. We visited this food hall on a Sunday night. Their website noted the hours closed at 10 pm, but we arrived just after 8 pm and found several food vendors were closed early. Bummer because I was aiming to order empanadas. Instead, I got mushroom pizza from hot box pizza and a sangria soda from gym tacos. The pizza was good, but based on their crust, it was not the best pizza I've had. Service was fine. They busiest spot was a rolled ice cream spot. My coworkers ordered from the Greek spot (chicken bowl) and another from the sushi spot (also a chicken rice bowl). Other spots i can recall is an Indian spot, burger, ramen, French macaroni, fry bar, and a coffee bar. We were able to find a table, but I bet it could be hard to snag a table if more vendors were open and it was busier.

Matthew M.

Yelp
The food selection was pretty massive. The variety was great, good for a date or to just try something different. The service varies from each place but everyone seemed super nice. The vibe was chill, highly recommend, i will be coming back!

Yelp
Food is fulfilling and nothing to bragg about. The place was full of loud people and families. Good place to grab a quick snack while exploring the downtown Raleigh. We got the Buena Papa Mexicano ( ground beef with soggy fries and mysteries sauce and the CowBar burgers. It's a good 20-30 minutes wait, and we had better ones before. Trust me. I will be back for more food, ice cream and try the Axe place. Where you throw a Axe on a target while getting wasted. lol

Tom R.

Yelp
Great place ! huge choice or offerings ! Middle of downtown Raleigh .. walkable to all parts of downtown

Med B.

Yelp
Food is good only gave three stars due to the loud music and the dog set up. While I am an animal owner myself I believe it was a bit excessive to allow Blazin Trails to setup a puppy display. The area outside is small and crowded with people trying to eat and all you hear is puppies barking and loud music. One of the attendants picked up a puppy that was obviously scared and it yelped so loud it drew everyone's attention. Please do a better job with allowing vendors to come and set up and be mindful of the current situation.

Andrew L.

Yelp
Great food and drink options in a common shared space. People can come and eat things to their heart's content. I went here multiple times during a short work trip. It's always busy. You'll be pleasantly surprised by the selection of food, which ranges from Sushi to Southern-soul food.

David K.

Yelp
Anyone can find something to eat here! Tonight I opted for Fish and chips at Crispy Cod. I had the gigantic piece of haddock with fries, tasty Cole slaw and a new one for me ..... mashed peas. There is also a spot for beers. You can also find tacos, pizza, pasta, Indian, ramen, Asian and other food offerings something for everyone.

Deannah R.

Yelp
This place is AWESOME! The best hangout foodie spot ever!!! We go here everytime we are in Raleigh. We always try a new place when we go. They have like 20 different types of food kiosks. And the diversity is great. You could try Greek and Indian food in the same day. We always go for the Korean corn dogs, tacos and the carne asada loaded fries. Also at the French fry station the passion fruit juice is perfect!! The service is always very quick and the food is super fresh and made to order. Definitely add this food hall to your Raleigh bucket list.

Yelp
We enjoyed our visit to Morgan Street Food Hall. Parking was a little tricky just because we had to park in a separate paid lot, but I guess it's to be expected given the location in the city. With respect to food, there were quite a few options! I ended up getting a lobster roll from Cousins Maine, which is of course a chain but it was still pretty darn good. My wife got a taco and some chips and guacamole from the taco shop in the food hall (sorry, I'm forgetting the name!), and it was OK but not amazing. For dessert, I sampled some mini donuts from a donut stand in the food hall, and they were also OK but not amazing. Just based on the variety of food here (and the fact that they have a bar!), I'm gonna give this place 4 stars, but we'll probably try some other food options next time we come.

Rachel C.

Yelp
Was easy to navigate with multiple people in our group with different dietary needs. we were all about to order food we enjoyed and then sit together to eat it! even though it was winter-ish the inside was warm. all of the vendors we visited were fast and polite food was great!

Melissa H.

Yelp
Great variety of food choices! Although it's crowded at peak times, I've never had a problem finding seating. I like that there are couches, communal tables, and bar seating. Great for groups with picky eaters!

Vanessa D.

Yelp
Came here again. Love this spot and the vibes. Came on a Saturday day for lunch. I definitely did not remember I've gotten the truffle fries from Cowbar before but on par with who I am, got them (again) today and they were so yummy; saucy, slight sweet taste. Also tasted the Quad burger (yummmm) and the truffle burger (just okay). My main was Maine lobster and 3 lobster tacos from Cousins. Yummm I'll definitely be back!

Yelp
"Upscale (local) food court in downtown Raleigh" Want a change of pace from the usual food court with the Panda Express, Burger King, Cinnabon, etc.? This place is definitely a noticeable step up with local eateries/ retailers. The food hall is quite large and had a rustic atmosphere-- and has three "areas" as well as a significant amount of outdoor seating (much of which is covered). Be warned: it was super LOUD inside, and the indoor seating is somewhat limited. There is parking very nearby, but it's really tight and not free, so be prepared. We got food from Makus Empanadas, Cousins Maine Lobster, and Kupkake Fairy. My wife had three empanadas from Makus, my son and I split the lobster tacos and lobster tots from Cousins, and we all got mini-doughnuts from Kupkake Fairy. The food came quickly from Cousins and Kupkake, but a little slower from Makus. My wife liked her empanadas, though she noted that the sweet corn one was unexpectedly spicy for her (though she does have a very low spice tolerance). The lobster dishes were EXCELLENT in quality (big chunks of lobster, where you could even see pieces came from the claw since they held the shape). I liked the other toppings on the tacos, too. The portions were not quite fully filling, but we were good splitting the two AND having a half-dozen mini-doughnuts each. The doughnuts were tasty-- my son and I both got the strawberry drizzle on them, while my wife had the (slightly sweeter) maple one. They came out super hot and fresh, too-- yum. Overall, we loved the food, and service was good, but I confess I didn't love the setting. It was so loud inside that all of us had headaches after a bit, and it was just a bit too hot to stay outside on that day. But maybe on a day when the weather is cooler (but not too cold), it'd be optimal.

William W.

Yelp
Finally got by this place and absolutely loved it. Great choices for everyone in the group and while I could have chosen 5-6 places I went with HotBox Pizzq and wow. The Hot Honey pizza is FOR REAL!

Rob G.

Yelp
Dope! Dope! Dope! Truly love the spot. Many options to choose from. I went with the Hibachi, Sushi & Burrito spot. Must try it. They had a soot with a full bar option. Service was great and the ambiance was pretty cool. Definitely a place to repeat several time to be able to have all the places to eat. Oh wait, desert! Must have the macaroon and mini donuts! Will try the other on next visit.

Talita M.

Yelp
Let's begin with what a food hall is if you aren't familiar. It's basically an upgraded food court that you see in a mall. The Morgan Street Food Hall is trendy and has good vibes. There is a variety of seating options for everyone from a living room type area with sofas, outdoor seating, as well as indoor picnic style tables. Any type of food you may crave is set up as a stand-alone location within the building. Curry in a hurry, Gym Tacos are the ones I tried and both were delicious. Now, as for the service goes you will get your food, but there is no staff attention or smiles. Place your order, tap to pay, and pick up the food you ordered. It's was not heavily busy on a Thursday afternoon compared to a Saturday.

Yelp
Can't wait to return! We just went to look around but did end up trying a few things. Mini donuts were sub-par. My son liked them but everyone else weren't impressed. We tried a margarita pizza from Hot Box - and again just ok. Had a Sweet corn empanada and it was delicious! We did have to wait 15 minutes for it but well worth it being freshly made to order. Lastly purchased macarons. Delicious, some of the best I've had. Only complaint is that the flavors in the display case aren't necessarily what they have each day. Not sure why they have such a large display. So many other places we want to try! Seemed to be plenty of seating as well. Update: our 2nd visit with more family wasn't as delightful. Hush puppies from the Southern place were flavorless. So disappointing. Sushi was ok but definitely pricey. S'mores iced coffee was delicious (from the place when you enter). Korean cheese dog was delicious and so was the sauce with it. Hamburger was ok BUT took 20 minutes for a plain burger. Not worth the $12 for a plain hamburger. The Rice Bowl teriyaki was awful. Dry and bland. The turkey panini was delicious but the mustard on it was spicy and overpowering. Crepes (from the formentioned coffee place) were delicious. We had both the Nutella and an all berry.

Amy M.

Yelp
We could not decide what to eat as a family so we came to Morgan's since there's a wide variety of options. Selections include Mexican, Indian, American, Greek, and more (bar & dessert places). We went with Gym Tacos which was very good! The Asada tacos were seasoned well and the green salsa was a beast! The burrito was also excellent and a good size. I got macaroons from one of the shops but they were not good. Too sweet and did not taste at all like the flavor they were meant to be. It's loud as you'd expect a food hall to be but there's plenty of seating. Big caviot was restroom cleanliness. Toilets were dirty, the toilet paper was on the floor and smelled bad. I've read that this was the case in other reviews and I can confirm that it's a fact. Cool place but some things need a lot of improvement.

Tarun B.

Yelp
I was exploring Raleigh and came across this gem. It is a large food hall with tons of restaurant options. It was Saturday afternoon but there was already a large younger crowd gathered. As soon as you enter you see Bad Cat Coffee. I did not order a coffee that day but it was an interesting name for a cafe. I immediately recognized Cousins Maine Lobster from Shark Tank and was surprised to see it here. There were clever restaurants such as Gym Tacos, Curry in a Hurry, Buena Papa Fry Bar, and Hot Box Pizza. The one with the biggest lines was Raleigh Rolls. I wanted to get some ice cream but was not willing to stay in line for hours just to get some. I looked back at their menu after I left and regretted not eating there at least once. If I wasn't here for a quick weekend I would have eaten and explored more. This place was very cool to people watch and enjoy a nice meal on the weekend.

Caroline D.

Yelp
The ambiance is rustic fairy lights and the nostalgia of a mall food court had a child and that child is Morgan street food hall. There is something for carnivores, vegans, and sweet tooth's. There are Asian, Greek, Mexican, Coffee, Southern, Indian, Italian, and other cuisines available. There is plenty of parking around but I don't think there is any dedicated specially to the food hall. The service is quick with seating inside and out. A great place to go if your friend group wants to try new foods or can't decide where to go. On the pricer side about 15-25 dollars for a meal. They offer free water if you don't want to pay for a bottle. The cars passing by can be loud if you're planning on eating outside.

Eilen S.

Yelp
Came here on a Monday around 6pm and this is likely why the place was a pretty deserted. Many businesses where closed with no one attending them and others where simply out of certain items for the day. Still it was easy to see that this place has a ton of potential and it's probably an excellent spot to hang out on an evening during the weekend. So many food options if I remember correctly I saw a Greek spot, lobster rolls, pizza, mini donuts, fried fish & shrimp, empanada, Asian inspired bowls, pho, burgers, tacos spots and a large bar at the center. You can grab a drink and walk around and grab some bites! Check this spot out!

Ebony W.

Yelp
Amazing food choices, good music and vibes! From dessert choices and bar to the Korean corn dogs and atomic burger, it's worth the visit.

Laura R.

Yelp
Always love going here. Visited after a concert. So worth it. It was late so everyone was getting ready to pack up but didn't feel like I was rushed.

Jordan C.

Yelp
Visiting Raleigh for the day, we made plans specifically to visit the food hall. The whole family was happy with the variety of options ranging from seafood to pizza. The kids enjoyed ice cream and macarons as well. There are several gluten free options among various different types of food. This was among the reasons we added this to our trip and we're happy we did. There seemed to be plenty of seating - both indoor and outdoor. There is a bar as well as food and desert options. If you're visiting Raleigh by train (something I highly recommend if you're going to see the government area) this food hall is only a few blocks from the station.

Jorge H.

Yelp
Fantastic place with a wide range of different food options. Great place to go out on a date and try different foods! Try the corn dog it's delicious!

Bob L.

Yelp
This is a nice little spot with a bunch of different options. I went with the pizza that was good but nothing too crazy. Everything was pretty quick since there are so many options, the line doesn't really build up at any of them.

Barrie P.

Yelp
This place is very cool. We picked up dinner on the way to the train station. My son had empanadas and I had a Greek gyro from a different place. Everything was delicious. I would come back the next time I was in town.

Leah J.

Yelp
My sister recently moved to Raleigh so my daughter and I took a weekend trip to visit her. Since we were hungry when we arrived, she took us to Morgan Street Food Hall since she mentioned they had a variety of food options to choose from...and she was not wrong. As soon as we walked in, all I saw was an unlimited variety of food. The food vendors include places that serve tacos, burgers, sandwiches, seafood, bowls, sushi, soul food and pizza, just to name a few. They also have dessert vendors that offer ice cream, crepes, waffles, and macaroons among other options. I decided on the the Gyro from Opa Raleigh and it tasted alright. The meat didn't taste very fresh, almost tasted like it had been frozen but the pita was very soft and it included an abundance of tzatziki sauce (which I love) so I ate the majority of it. My daughter ordered the Curry Chicken from Curry in a Hurry and her food lacked flavor and didn't taste very authentic. My sister ordered the Caramel Pretzel Ice Cream Roll from Raleigh Rolls and it tasted pretty good but I wouldn't order it again. The concept of a Food Hall is genius. It reminded me of a large mall food court and I loved it. They also have an axe throwing area which I thought was cool. It was very loud and packed in there since we went on a Friday night but it didn't take long to get our food at all. The downside is definitely the seating. It can be a bit of a challenge to find somewhere to sit so once you find an open area that you can sit at, you have to take it immediately. I'm not sure if I would go back, but if I do I would probably try something different to eat.

Amy N.

Yelp
#1: Hands down the BEST butter chicken I've ever had. Amazing overall experience. Loved getting to try a bunch of different items!!

Emily H.

Yelp
Lots of different options to pick from inside! My friend and I decided to share food from Buena Papa Fry Bar and Opa Raleigh. El Mexicana 7/10 - topped w carne asada, guacamole, sour cream, and pico de gallo - a TON of fries but would've liked more guac and pico de gallo - fries get soggy quick from the carne asada juices Greek Farmer Salad w/ Chicken 6/10 - for the price, this salad is weak - very basic, fresh salad - about $5 added for 1 skewer of chicken?

Anita T.

Yelp
2020 Love this trend but I feel like I found it too late. While it was fun, there were so many people and what do you expect when you go into a food hall? My anxiety is not ready for this but I was so excited to be with my friend, so I went and had a ball. Everyone wore their mask while they were walking around of course, so that was kind of calming. Some of the food places I recognized were from food truck events that I have been to. My friend had fish and shrimp from one of the seafood spots, that I can't remember at the moment, but it was amazing. I got hibachi. I felt like we were at the mall food court with all the choices. They have a bar which you can access from inside and outside. They also do $25 mimosas where they give you the entire bottle and orange juice. We got a "VIP" invitation to the back room that is right by the entrance but no one notices. It was the cutest thing, and we were able to get away from the crowd of people out in the general area. It was so comfortable and stylish there. The bartender was very knowledgeable and passionate about his craft. Wonderful service. They have a few tables and seats spread out around the place. We found an empty table and ended up sharing with another group of ladies who came later, (who were also kind of rude but anyway..). Apparently they have upstairs seating which look like rooms, but we did not go and see for ourselves so I can't speak on that. Overall, Raleigh's food hall was so fun that my friend and I ended up with a bucket of champagne and 2 cocktails. Not sure if I'd recommend this place to people that have anxiety like me but everyone else, yes. 2023 It's gross now. We saw roaches on the table, Oak City Fish and Chips really needs to hire 2 people to work at 1 time. Depending on the day, it's not as crowded.

Marci P.

Yelp
Wow! So many food choices and a cozy ambience. I could eat here every day of the month! Also, enjoyed finding Aunt Betty's Gin and Absinthe Bar through a corner doorway.

Cristina Cici B.

Yelp
A whole lotta choices to satisfy every palate up in here. I love a good food hall, especially one that's covered and has space to hangout in a group (not on the weekends! Come early or be prepared to wait for a table.) There's a fast turnaround of people coming in and out and it seems that there aren't enough staff to clean after to make way for new customers, so it can get a little dirty. However, it's definitely worth checking out if you're in the area!

Angel P.

Yelp
I've been to similar food halls in Charlotte, NC as we have a few. With that being said I was excited to try one in Raleigh when we visited. The parking was kind of frustrating. We parked and paid on the parking app yet still got a fine in the mail for "non payment". The space inside the building felt a little crammed but there were enough seats for everyone. I had macaroons and Indian food. The macaroons were good but the Indian food was underwhelming outside of the garlic naan (delicious). I tried others at my tables food (burgers and nachos) and nothing really stood out to me. So, overall I would say the food hall is 3.5 based off the food options, space, and parking. I would come back if someone wanted to but I wouldn't pick this place to go to eat when we are back in Raleigh.

Catherine M.

Yelp
This place has everything you could want. They had Indian food, Mediterranean food, Japanese food, Korean food, Italian food and lots of desserts to choose from. This is a very nice place to hang out with friends or go with your family. All the food places we ate had good and fast service. When I come back to North Carolina I'll be stopping here

Edna F V.

Yelp
Great community place full of kind peeps. Food businesses look amazing, great ambiance

Steven B.

Yelp
A nice food hall with plenty of different cuisines to choose from. Ramen and sushi was good

Tracy W.

Yelp
Morgan Food Hall did not disappoint! I love a good lobster dog and Cousins Maine Lobster came through. They were very generous with the lobster, I prefer the Massachusetts dog (served warm) and definitely had to get one to go! Then I made a Bad Decision (just kidding that's the name of the drink). I saw this drink on the TikityTok and it did not disappoint (I had 2 don't judge me). The bar inside the food hall is full of life and I can't wait to go back. Overall Morgan Food Hall is great with a lot of offerings and I highly recommend. Make sure you make a "Bad Decision" while you're there

Michelle L.

Yelp
If you are in a group and nobody can agree on one cuisine, the Morgan Street Food Hall is the place to go because of all the options! Everyone can get their own food and then sit together, indoor or outdoor. This place is located in the heart of downtown, near the museums and historical sights. They also have water dispensers all around the building if you did not want to pay for a drink. I will definitely come back here again when I am back in town.

Mike M.

Yelp
Last time this place was the clear winner over transfer. This time I enjoyed transfer slightly more. The options here felt more diverse at this food hall. I liked the outdoor seating area. Not sure what pill they have over who they sub contract as one spot was great and one was a struggle bus, no offense. Have to come a 3rd time for a tie break from Pittsburgh sometime again. They can do a better job of keeping the sanitizer stations fill though. Lily's of street food/handhelds and most of the sanitizer stations empty

Chelsey D.

Yelp
The Morgan Street food hall is pretty cool! There are lots of vendors and many different types of cuisines, but what made me happy was seeing all of the options we had for Asian cuisine! There's so much to choose from -- like curry, pizza, poke, Mediterraean, burgers, fries, and more! There is also a full bar in the middle of everything and axe throwing towards one end of the food hall which I thought was kind of an interesting place to do that. There are free water stations throughout the food hall, so no need to buy drinks, but it's always nice to support the small businesses, right? Although there was indoor and outdoor seating, the place was pretty much packed like sardines so it's not the best place to go if you're trying to socially distance. At this food hall, I didn't notice any staff actively going around to clean/ sanitize the tables and chairs in between customers, so that's definitely something that needs to be improved, especially at a time like this. My last complaint would be that the AC was leaking in multiple areas of the building which is kind of a turn off, but it happens.

Rowan L.

Yelp
Terrific place for great food and family vibe. Easily caters for vegan and vegetarian if that's your choice. Vendors look to take pride in their offerings, which means the quality is high. Service I've experienced from all vendors has been great.

Cynthia R.

Yelp
Nice food hall with a good vibe. Plenty of food options to chose from and they had a bar to get some tasty bevvies from. I tried some empanadas which were very yummy. I went on a Saturday afternoon, nice crowd but wasn't so bad that you couldn't enjoy yourself or find a seat. I can imagine the later it gets the more crowded it can be so highly suggest going early if possible.

Crystal P.

Yelp
The food hall was fun! I chose empanadas from Makus. They were okay, but I wish I'd tried some other places as well. Will definitely go back next time I'm in Raleigh!

Amanda B.

Yelp
The second food hall I tried while I was in Raleigh, and also delicious! We had a Korean Corn Dog, which was DA BOMB! The mozz mixed with the hot dog and then the aioli was a flavor combo my friend had not tried. Needless to say it blew her away. We got a few drinks while we waited for our food from a very attentive and kind bartender. We had no problem finding a table, with plenty of seating both inside and outside. An excellent spot for a quick bit or a long haul drinking session in the yard with your doggo! Highly recommend!

David T.

Yelp
We stumbled into this place by accident as we were debating what to eat and this was a perfect place to find different cuisine. The overall food was fantastic, I got gyro meal and it was good amount of food. The service is okay, I figured it was busy since we went there on Friday afternoon. The ambiance and the outside patio was perfect for summer weather and definitely recommend for people with different taste of food so they all can enjoy

P V.

Yelp
Great place to eat, or just mingle. They have a wide variety of cuisines to choose from. Parking can be a bummer but nonetheless great place!
