"Mori revamps teppanyaki by not adding oil to the hot plate, thus requiring exceptional skills on the chefs’ part. Beef is served deconstructed – divided into parts according to the marbling and texture, each cooked to different doneness with different seasoning. Apart from Japanese Imperial Wagyu – not available elsewhere in Taiwan – choose between U. S. SRF or Aussie M9 Wagyu, Iberico pork, lobster, lamb and non-GMO black tea chicken." - Michelin Inspector

One of my best teppanyaki meal ever. The chef Ben was able to cook the wagyu in many methods and each piece of beef tasted uniquely delicious. The seafood items were also fresh and delicious. Highly recommend to anyone in Taichung to try out this restaurant!

This is the experience of once of a lifetime. Google reviews simply did not give enough stars to fulfill this restaurant’s taste and appreciation. To say simply that there was only the ability to fill five stars. However, if you were given an ultimate choice of your own stars, I would definitely choose a billion. There are way too many choices and combinations to choose from. But… I do not wish to spoil your extraordinary experience. The staff’s training made our experience way beyond impossible. Take it that tomorrow is your turn to taste and experience.

Chef Allen was professional with his cooking method. Food was delicious and exceptionally fresh for the crab. Aaron was efficient with his service! Would highly recommend to try their food and service!

Overpriced, truly disappointed. The minute we arrived, the waitress kept pushing us to choose the most expensive menu with Waygu beef. Every dish came with no surprise, no special sauce or cooking method. The lobster was overcooked and the beef was chewy. Not a Michellin star restaurant standard. We paid Twd $17000 for 2 adults and 2 kids (they just had some bread and soup), we normally can find better Tepanyaki in HK with less price. No wonder it was empty during lunch hour. Perhaps they have a non rip off menu during non CNY period.

Excellent food and service in Taichung area. The service that you get in Taiwan fine dining places are worth a visit on its own. The chefs prepare the meats in different ways and techniques. Seasoning only with salt and no oil. Worth bringing a group of friends to try if your looking for more steak oriented places.

Food: As the name suggested, they serve top grade Japanese Teppanyaki with few exquisite sets menu namely, Dinner Set, Business Set and VIP set. The highlights of the menu are Royal Handpicked Wagyu Beef (Exclusive Limited Edition), Royal Wagyu Beef 12A, Royal Wagyu Beef 10A, Hokkaido Crabs, Lobster Canada, Rosy Seabass(紅喉魚), Eighteen Chicken Farms In Tea (森飼養紅茶雞) etc. My favorite: Wagyu Beef 12A - The beef was prepared in 7 different ways with different techniques, seasoning only with three types of salt with no oil 😋😋😋😋😋. Service: Well, I am really impressed by the services provided by the restaurant. The chef has put on a wonderful “show” in explaining the details of each course (where the food came from all the time delicately cutting, cooking and placing the foods on the plates). Besides, the staff are friendly, helpful and attentive! 👍👍👍👍👍 Atmosphere: The restaurant is well decorated with elegant interior and the guests were served in private dining room! 👍👍👍👍👍 Verdict: It is my 1st attempt to try top-grade Japanese Teppanyaki. Overall, it was great. However, there are few improvements needed – the food is abit salty especially Teppanyaki beef and the food severing is rushing.

It is amazing. The Japanese beef is amazing. I would recommend to try the 12A grade beef. It is expensive but absolutely worth it for money and memory. The chef cooks each bite for you. They cook as you eat. I live in Minnesota and own my own medical device business. I have eaten great food all around the world. This is one of the best dining experience I ever have. Not all great food is expensive. Sometimes I love the hole in the wall food. Really cheap food but amazing. Some expensive meal is amazing. This is the case. I strongly recommend it! By the way, there is no volcano show like in the US for hibachi. This is high class that they cook every bite for you. Still family friendly because they have kids meal. They cook like 20 different flavor for a steak. Very cool. I celebrated my mom’s 76th birthday and she loved it.
