Morleys Fried Chicken Brixton Hill

Typical chicken shop really it’s ok but nothing flash..half pounder cheeseburger with 1 regular and 1 large chips a box of chicken strips and 2 cans of drink £13…I would say the restaurant is really run down or in desperate need of decorating and in need of new table and chairs but the food is good size portions and not too bad,the staff are friendly and I did notice they always cleaning which is good to see…

the WORST morley’s i have been to so far. first time i went i waited 10 minutes without even being served, had a full on conversation with the other customer in the shop whilst staff were in the back not paying attention so i ended up leaving without ordering or them even noticing. second time actually takes the piss... i go in and ask for my usual, 4 strips and chips, bossman says 5 minute wait and charges me £4.49. usually it’s £4 but i think whatever and wait, then i’m presented with this absolute fuckry. literally gave me some birdseye southern fried chicken strips that you get from a supermarket. he even tried cover them up with paper and acted all shifty when i started unwrapping it to eat in the shop. absolute jokeman running that shop, poor excuse for a morley’s.

I was served raw chicken last night and now I am very sick this morning. There is no easy way to contact head office so i am writing a review, this is very disappointing and has now put me off morley's all together

I would not recommend. Got the 4 chicken wings, fries and a drink combo and an apple pie for £5. Took about 10 minutes to be served my food. The chicken was relatively good, moist on the inside with a nice crust. The fries were pathetic, shoe string fries similar to Mcdonald's with no flavor and no crunch. They don't give you any sauce but there are squirt bottles out on the tables inside. The chili sauce was delicious, the burger sauce not my style. I went to this restaurant and this specific location because I was told this is the best chicken shop in London... I really hope it isn't because this is some of the most mid chicken I have ever had. I won't be coming back. 3/5

Very very bad 👎staff here they don't have any manners how to deal with a customer and delivery riders they r talking vargarly they very bad staff pls give any mannere them to how give respect a customer and riders .....my experience is very bad in this Morleys

One of best spicy wings I’ve ever eaten

They are one of the best of their franchise, mostly because they seem to get a lot of foot traffic, so food was fresh and well cooked. Be prepared for a long wait as it's a great early morning treat after a night out and was packed as it closed at 3am. Handy to know there's a chicken shop open until this time if I ever fancied it. At that time, you'll find drunks, etc, so you take what you get and park in side road at that time but could be difficult in daytime hours with parking restrictions. Not much of a dining space, about 8 to 10 people. They have deals from about £4.00. There is a single step to access, but I'm sure it's easy enough to get someone to come to take your order if needed. They do all 3 in terms of dine in, if space available, be prepared to share, takeaway, and delivery. Only salad and fries for vegetarian options, but check as I'm not a frequent user of these establishments. I did enjoy it.
