Yelp
A quaint little coffee shop on the edge of old Dijon, Morning Glory Café has the hip aesthetic of coffee house in a much bigger city- raw wood tables, metal and wood sculptures, bright green plants, crisp white lines, and plenty of outdoor seating.
The coffee is excellent- flawlessly made cappuccinos with the perfect ratio of milk to espresso. The textured milk has the perfect consistency and each cup comes with a beautifully crafted Rosetta-- the stamp of an expert barista. The iced coffees are served black with an orange zest- bringing out the natural fruitiness of the 3rd wave artisanal roast. Baquette sandwiches, homemade granola, banana bread, and cheese cake are some of the delectable bites available to nosh on, but the coffee really steals the show here.
The cafe owners, a cute young couple, are there everyday. Their English is excellent and they are kind to travelers with a limited handle on the language.
Wifi is available. Walking coffees (to-go options) available!
