Yelp
First impressions and atmosphere: Very cute and cozy. Nice gated, stonecarved courtyard for patio (heated) seating with a statue of a plump version of Michaelangelo's David, and indoor-outdoor fireplace as you walk into the shop. Oh, rrright. We're in boujee-land, kids!
So, the indoor seating has an 'interesting' vibe with lots of safari-type decor; dark wood floors, highback chairs, high ceiling with lots of natural light. Then, you continue to walk into the middle part of the cafe with the display of the pastries, grab and go lunch items, and a menu which includes wine and mimosas (of course, in GPF): https://www.metroalive.com/include/pdf/10169-menu.11.18.pdf.
The loo was clean, stocked, and warm.
Not sure if there was background music playing.
Service: Overall good. Friendly. Helpful. Knowledgeable.
Victuals and Potables: Tasty pastries and visually appealing. We had the coffee, and just could NOT give it a fair score for taste because they had UHT mini moos for creamer. *cringe* Mini moos in coffee is like putting ketchup on a Wagyu steak, bumper stickers on a Rolls-Royce, and so on. *sigh* We had high hopes, Morning Glory. *IMO: Any coffee shop worth their salt offers REAL creamer. So, unless that changes, we will opt for tea instead.
