Nestled in the vibrant heart of Las Vegas, Morning News Restaurant exudes a charming ambiance that resonates with both locals and visitors alike. During my recent visit with my children, we were delighted by the culinary offerings and impeccable service that defined our breakfast experience. Upon entering, we were promptly. The ambiance was inviting, with soft hues and tasteful decor setting the stage for a pleasant dining. The highlight of our visit undoubtedly was the decadent ice cream cones adorning our waffles and pancakes. Each bite was a symphony of flavors, seamlessly blending the sweetness of the ice cream with the warmth of the freshly made waffles and pancakes. It was a delightful indulgence that left our taste buds yearning for more. Accompanying our main courses were sides of thick-cut bacon and savory sausage, both of which met our expectations with their robust flavors and quality. The bacon, in particular, stood out for its generous portions and perfect crispness, while the sausage provided a delicious complement to the meal. Service at Morning News Restaurant was exemplary. Despite it not being particularly busy during our visit, our orders arrived promptly and were served with a genuine smile. The staff demonstrated attentiveness without being intrusive, ensuring that our dining experience was nothing short of enjoyable. In conclusion, Morning News Restaurant in Las Vegas offers a delectable breakfast experience characterized by quality food, prompt service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Whether you are a local looking for a comforting start to your day or a tourist seeking a memorable dining experience, Morning News Restaurant is sure to exceed your expectations.

Google
Great spot for breakfast! The service was attentive, the food was delicious and our order came out fast! The coffee was good so that was the sign that everything else would be good. We ordered the morning breakfast and my hubby loved it! High protein for sure and delish. I ordered my Lox Benedict and was fantastic!! Eggs cooked to perfection. Highly recommend. The have plenty of parking which is a huge plus :)

Brunch after tennis - tried this newly opened restaurant affiliated with one of our local fave restaurants (Herbs & Rye). Did not disappoint with the quality of food and impeccable service from our host Mike and from very attentive server Brittany. There was a queue to get a table but it was well worth the wait as their food was delicious and price was reasonable. As locals, we highly recommend this place and will be returning to try their other delectable dishes!

Google
Had a good breakfast at Morning News. It was a bit of wait to get in which wasn't unexpected but we felt like maybe they forgot about us when we continued to wait outside after all others in front us had been seated and tables appeared empty? Anyway, it was all good once we got inside. It's a "fun" breakfast menu with all the traditional breakfast choices but many new items to try, a great variety! The days special breakfast wrap, the hangover breakfast and variety of pancakes was a ton of food and got good reviews! The hot chicken and waffle (with and added fried egg on top) was OK. The chicken had bones which made for awkward eating around the waffle and egg, and though it was served "hot" it wasn't spicy. Would try something different next time. Overall a worth the visit and would go back again!

Google
Found this gem away from the strip and the plus was that they do a Yelp wait list! This is always a welcomed bonus to reduce the wait time. When I looked at the menu I had the hardest time deciding so glad we went with a large party who never minds sharing so we could all get a taste. The kiddos started with a chocolate milk and omg did they love it. We ordered a lot so here are my favs…panko loco moco yes it’s a bit salty but so flavorful. Loved the addition of spam and the hash brown which is different than your regular loco moco. The Shelley yoko was a hearty and filling breakfast bagel sandwich. The kids loved the churro pancakes and the Cookie Monster waffles. The thick cut bacon Benedict was also soooo good. Service was excellent so friendly and attentive. He even offered to get the kids order first and put it in first before the adults ordered so they didn’t have to wait as long. Good sized restaurant so lots of seating even for a big party like ours.

We discovered this incredible spot on TikTok while on a trip to Las Vegas and decided to give it a try. We were absolutely blown away! The food was phenomenal, and the customer service was top-notch—thank you, Victor, for doing an amazing job! This place serves the best food we’ve had so far, and it’s impeccably clean, including their restrooms. We’ve never been so impressed with the cleanliness and the speed of service. Once again, thank you, Victor!

Food was delicious and portions where good! The host was a very nice guy and made you feel welcomed. Our server Gabi was on point she was very friendly and patient with us being it was our first time. She even told us about the new kids menu the had just came out that day .my son enjoyed his meal and us aswell .overall the food was good but the service made the day!!!

Google
The service from Victor was a 10/10 but the meal fell flat. This restaurant is extremely small and the prices are high to me for the food quality. I got the lox Benedict, chicken and waffles, and a short stack of buttermilk pancakes with two eggs everything was dry ,bland, and overpriced for what it was..I paid $56 for two people to eat breakfast and I won’t be back.

Yelp
I took an 18 month hiatus from Yelping or really eating out for that matter, but I'M BACK!!! I made a decision going into 2025 that I was going to do my very best to ONLY eat at restaurants I'd never been to before so I started the year out strong by enjoying a delicious brunch at Morning News! I judge a lot of places by the water they serve and this spot outdid themselves--the water definitely comes from a quality filtered source!!! Didn't taste like I was licking a penny found at the bottom of Lake Mead. I also judge a place by their pancakes. These were fairly average--3 out of 3 stars! The real winner of the meal was the cornbeef hash--5 out of 5 for sure! The big chunks of meat were the right touch. If I had known each entree came with only one egg, I have ordered another for sure. I'm excited to come back, drink more coffee, order three new items and really give the place a thorough review. For now, they're definitely worthy in my book!

Yelp
Came here on a Saturday afternoon for brunch. Service: 5/5 There was a small wait when we got here. The host said it was about a 30 minute wait, but it turned out to be only about 15 minutes. We had a group of 7 so there was an automatic 20%. The service was great and the food came out all together but still pretty quick. Food: 5/5 We ordered chilaquiles, poutine, Benedict, waffle sandwich, chicken fried steak, and French toast. Our favorites were the chilaquiles and the chicken fried steak. The flavors were great. We did not like the poutine and Benedict. They were a little too salty. They have a big menu and I would definitely come back to try their other options. Ambiance: 4/5 This place is a great spot for brunch. It has a cute vibe. The only thing is their bathroom is right next to the end tables. It's a little off putting to have our food tables right next to the bathrooms. Note: they offer 15% off to educators, health care workers, first responders, and military.

Yelp
First timers! When we pulled up I was surprised to see a drive thru; very cool. Service is top notch! Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. The space is nice and bright. Very straight forward breakfast vibe. We ordered the Morning News Breakfast and the Hangover Breakfast. Pro tip: get the cheesy hash browns! Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted great. The creme brûlée pancakes were a great way to top off our meal. You get a short stack with the hangover breakfast and can opt to upgrade to any of their pancake options for an upcharge. Well worth it in my opinion but I could've also got down on those pancakes just the way they are because WOW. So fluffy! It was the perfect share plate for two and the crème brûlée was so light, and paired with the strawberries it was a nice balance after such a hearty breakfast.

Yelp
Perfect breakfast for fans of Herbs & Rye. Came in yesterday on a whim. My husband and I had just dropped off our car at an auto shop and decided to look up a breakfast spot nearby. We were in a neighborhood of Las Vegas we were not as familiar with and weren't sure where to go.. but then I saw on yelp that Morning News was around the corner. We absolutely love Herbs & Rye steakhouse (if you haven't been, it's a must!) and the same owners opened this restaurant about a year ago. I've been meaning to try it out... Our meals were fantastic. My husband had the Corned Beef Hash and loved it, I chose "The Farmer" -a classic breakfast, my eggs were cooked perfectly over-medium as ordered and the star of my plate was the "thick-cut bacon", delicious. Our children had the kids meals; large, filling portions for them. Our server was very attentive & kind and took the time to tell us at the end of our meal a little about how the owner's of Herb & Rye owned this restaurant, and that the building had once been an old dairy queen -- the most interesting fact, was that this establishment uses the same steaks as Herbs & Rye steakhouse; we instantly wished we'd ordered a steak & eggs breakfast -- will have to next time!!

Yelp
Best Biscuits & Gravy. Hands down. My expectations were blown away. It came in a huge bowl... 2 large biscuits smothered in brown sausage gravy with 2 eggs sunny side up. Fresh biscuit. Rich gravy. The egg combined made for a great start to my day. Will have to come back and order it again, but with Country Gravy instead. Coffee wasn't bad either. Served old school in a small diner cup and the nice waiter comes around and fills it up. Nice signage and branding inside and out as well. if you're gonna call it Morning News...It'd be nice to have a newsstand next to the entry. I know newspapers are going by the wayside, but maybe some magazines and the latest Las Vegas Weekly.

Yelp
This brunch spot has been pinned on my Yelp collection for some time. So excited to finally try it! Overall, it was a GREAT experience! Food was SO GOOD and portion sizes are shareable! My sister and I shared the Morning News Breakfast! It was $34 but it comes with everything: Steak, bacon, sausage links, sausage patties, eggs, toast, hash browns, pancakes! It has a great mix of sweet and savory. Honestly, this could be shared with 3 people because we had plenty leftover. If you like strong coffee I highly recommend their drip coffee! The ambience was cute and clean! Service was great as well! I definitely will come back to try something different!

Yelp
You have to try the best chicken sandwich in town! I went for the Nashville hot with honey, and it was a total hit. The chicken was juicy and tender, with just the right amount of spice. It might be a bit on the pricey side, but trust me, it's worth every penny. The ambience here is fantastic, with the decor on the walls adding a great touch to the overall experience. The waiter was very attentive.

Yelp
Came here on a Saturday for a to go order and waited 10-15 minutes for it. We ordered the Shelly Yoko which came with curly fries. I'm not a bagel person due to how tough it can get but this bagel was one of the softest I have ever eaten. On top of that, the eggs and bacon were cooked to perfection. It was quite juicy to the point where it did make a mess but that's okay, it was worth it. I would recommend eating this as soon as possible because of how soggy the bottom portion can get. As for the curly potatoes, it had a mild flavor to it and didn't need any additional sauces like ketchup. Other than that, I would be back and the other items on the menu. Cashier was nice and answered any questions I had. Water was also provided even when it was a to go order. Prices were reasonable considering how it was a big portion. Parking was also easy since they have their own parking lot.

Yelp
Some friends and I decided to try Morning News for breakfast. This place always gets busy and there was a short wait. The menu offers a great variety of classic and creative options. We did enjoy the hot chicken and waffles. The staff was friendly and attentive. A bonus is they give you a free mini ice cream before you leave. I can't wait to come back and try more!

Lilian H.

Yelp
My party and I decided to check this place out since we saw it was a sister restaurant of Herbs&Rye. The place was bustling and lively, and the service was pretty standard. We were starving going in, and even then, the food was just alright. The cheesy hash browns were a no go, the cheese had a powdery texture. The corned beef hash was mostly potatoes. The steak was slightly undercooked from medium rare so it was almost rare. The burrito was ok, and the salsa that came with it tasted like tomato juice. It was overall kind of disappointing, but a good experience.

Richard C.

Yelp
Service was just as good as the food. Found this place on yelp last minute and it was great. Our server victor was great. Definitely a spot I will come back to when I'm in Vegas.

Terrence S.

Yelp
Came here for a quick breakfast to go, and got the Shelly Yoko with curly fries. It was very delicious, super flavorful, great contrast between tough meats and soft eggs within a bagel and some chive shmear and melted cheddar. The only thing I wish would be for the thick cut bacon to be a bit less thick, or at least a little less tough/chewy, it gets stuck in your teeth easily. But other than that, a great dish, reasonable price for the huge proportions between two people. The servers were great, took care of us, even gave us a cup of water even though we were ordering takeout. Wish I can come again soon!

Megan M.

Yelp
One of our fave places to eat when we come to Vegas. Great food and service! Highly recommend!

Delayna J.

Yelp
The service at this place was literally top notch! Our server was awesome, and even the host and another server made a joke at our table. So we had interactions with a lot of staff and they were all the sweetest ! My food was also incredible! Big portions for us, too big that we couldn't finish. TIPS: their thick cut bacon is the thickest piece of bacon out there, so I'd recommend doing the regular cut bacon. And their latte's were not sweet at all, I had to ask for extra sweet cream cuz it was too bitter for me. Would absolutely be back!

Saza C.

Yelp
I saw that this place has good reviews, so my friend and I decided to have breakfast here. I ordered Chicken Fried Steak and coffee. My friend got the Chicken and Waffles with hot chocolate. The chicken fried steak was cooked perfectly, but I found the gravy's flavor a bit off. My friend thought the chicken was bland and the syrup wasn't great. I tried the chicken, and yep it was very bland. Not sure what flavor the syrup was, but it was too strong. And the hot chocolate she ordered tasted watered-down. On the plus side, their coffee was good, the ambiance was great, and the service was excellent. Given all the good reviews, I'm willing to give it another shot and try other items on the menu.

Norm K.

Yelp
When you live in a city known as the 9th Island, you have to do loco moco now and then. I ordered the Panko loco moco. This is listed under Morning News Classics on their menu. It consists of panko fried Spam, rich beef gravy, fried eggs, hash brown, and white rice. This breakfast is a heavy start to the day. The bowl has a layer of rice at the bottom, then two hash brown patties, panko breaded fried Spam, two eggs, and topped with a very flavorful, hearty gravy. I ordered my eggs sunny side up and the yolk mixed with the rice and improved the flavor. As I said, this is a hearty breakfast. It was a treat for a change. It's the kind of meal you eat and then want to sleep for a while. Service was top notch. I had been here before when it was a Dairy Queen. The seating is limited to some extent but it is adequate. This is a much better place to eat than before. I have to go back and try their chorizo poutine.

Yelp
Solid 4 1/2 stars! Looks like the team behind Herbs & Rye have another winner on their hands! This time for the breakfast/brunch crowd! Was lucky the kids took the father-in-law and myself out for Father's Day! It was super crowded that morning so luckily the kids put us on the waitlist for Morning News, not an empty table in sight! After the decent wait, we finally got to walk in and get seated...and you can already smell that cuppa Joe steaming, and eggs frying! Love that diner feel, such great ambiance! Looking at their classics breakfast menu we all decided to get two orders of their biggest breakfasts: -Hangover Breakfast ($22) - 3 eggs your way, 2 bacon, 2 sausage (patty or link), hashbrowns (cheesy or regular), toast...and yes, a short stack of pancakes! And oh boy - one of these Hangover Breakfast entrees can easily feed TWO people...with some leftovers! I opted to share with my father-in-law and got 3 eggs sunny side up, 2 thick bacon strips, 2 sausage patties, cheesy hashbrowns, and wheat toast. We also decided to upgrade our short stack of pancakes (small extra charge) to one of their specialty ones! -Churro Pancakes - cinnamon sugar, caramel filled churros, condensed milk, dulce de leche, whipped cream, and vanilla ice cream HOLY COW! So much food on this breakfast entree! Was easily able to share everything between 2 folks. Eggs were just the way I like them with an added dash of cracked black pepper & Tabasco (ketchup may or may not have been involved LOL), bacon was really good quality & tasty, sausage patty seemed to be house made & was flavorful. And those cheesy hashbrowns? Just right with that extra crispy exterior just like I like! Me LIKEY! But WOW, that short stack of Churro Pancakes was a star all on its own! Just looking at it made my father-in-law's sugar level jump! Pancakes were nice & light but with good flavor - the overall dish was sweet but surprisingly not cloyingly oversweet! I think the fresh whipped cream and the vanilla ice cream helped to quell the sugar rush. There's literally an entire cone of vanilla ice cream plopped on top of your pancakes! Loved the presentation, very playful! Even after we indulged, there were containers of leftovers to take home. Not gonna lie, added a bit more vanilla ice cream to the pancakes later for a snack, still heavenly! Morning News is indeed some good news in the breakfast scene! Had a great time for Father's Day and intend to be back for a regular day Day!

Cierra M.

Yelp
Obsessed with the Shelly yoko on jalapeño cheese bagel! Last month I discovered them for food delivery to my hotel the morning after a night of drinking and quickly became obsessed. I won't tell you how many times I came here during my weekend trip to Vegas, it was that good!

Janessa A.

Yelp
Been wanting to try this spot out for a while now and I was not disappointed. Came in really early and though not packed, it was pretty busy which I took as a good sign. Decided to try a little bit of savory, salty and sweet (so yeah a little bit of everything lol). My husband ordered the Hangover Breakfast while I ordered the Shelly Yoko-- I love my bagels for breakfast. His order came with a stack of pancakes so we decided on the Churro Pancake which our server, Victor, claimed was a popular one. For good reason too, that pancake was delicious! And the ice cream on top was definitely a nostalgic treat for me as I used to have my pancakes with ice cream on top as a kid. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his meal, the highlight was definitely the cheesy hash browns which I had a bite of as well, YUM. My bagel was equally as delicious. The bacon pieces in it were thick and full of flavor. The portions were pretty decent too which is always a plus because I don't mind bringing home leftovers to enjoy later or the following day. I would definitely recommend this breakfast joint. I think next time I'll try their Loco Moco! PS, shoutout to Victor. He was an amazing server. Great personality and great service.

Ika F.

Yelp
The good news is the Morning News! I am always a fan of a clean restaurant, and this place was clean, clean from the bathrooms to the kitchen to the dining room! And however, even far more important was the quality of all the food items. Everything was cooked properly and you could see the pride and the effort they put into everything. Homemade sausage, thick, cut, bacon beautiful fluffy pancakes just wonderful. And ask for Victor, a great server.

Benita C.

Yelp
My review is a little late. I love brunch and it was my birthday so my daughter suggested Morning News. It was Sunday so we thought it would be busy and we were going to check in on line on the drive over but there was no wait. We were sat as we walked in. Our server greeted us right away and got our drink orders. The coffee drinks took a while to come out but they were good. We places our orders, chicken and waffles, biscuits and gravy, a couple of breakfast sandwiches, pancakes. A full variety of dishes. The chicken and waffles were the best thing on the table. The biscuits and gravy the least enjoyable. Sadly that was my breakfast and it just didn't have much flavor. We finished up our breakfast and headed out. Less than 10 minutes later we realized we left my grandson's cup on the table. My son was still in the area and ran back in to get it and they threw it away so that was a bummer. It seemed like they could/should have set it aside to see if we came back for it. No apology or anything. Our fault for leaving it but why would they not give us a chance to realize we left it and come back? Kinda silly. Anyway we will probably give this another visit just for the chicken and waffles!

Heather P.

Yelp
First time visiting while in Vegas and let me say, definitely not the last time. From the time we walked in the door until we left, the service was impeccable. They were friendly and accommodating as my fiance was in a wheelchair. The food is good and great portion sizes too. We highly recommend it and we will be back next time in town.

Rachel O.

Yelp
Yummy! victor was such a nice guy .... The pancakes were good ............Thank you will definitely eat here again

Good sized restaurant so lots of seating even for a big party like ours.

Yelp
Great Breakfast spot! Easily missed tho so make sure to keep an eye out for it. Restaurant was really clean! Wasn't busy during our visit but staff were definitely still friendly and helpful with recommending things. Food was very delicious but portions are a lot! So come with an appetite, got a Morning News Breakfast , definitely something you can share for 2 people. Their flavoured waffles is delicious but was very sweet for something in the morning would prefer without the ice cream but hits the spot for a sweet tooth.

Florence L.

Yelp
The service was very nice and friendly. I ordered the hangover breakfast with pumpkin pancakes which was very delicious. And it was alot of food that I was full for the rest of the day. I would definitely come back again.

LuAnna O.

Yelp
Amazing spot we found on Yelp! So glad we stopped here for breakfast. Not crowded at all on a Saturday morning. Service was excellent; everyone was warm, welcoming, and genuine. We can't decide what we liked best--the sweet cream lattes, food (lox Benedict, biscuits & gravy, bunch of sides so my son could build his own breakfast, and kid's mini pancakes which were big!), or the service. I wish we would have taken pictures of the food to add to this review, but we gobbled it up so fast because it was delicious and we were hungry. To quote my son, "This is the best breakfast food I've ever had!" We will definitely be back when we're back in town next time!

Faye I.

Yelp
Decently sized place with plenty of seating. I like their simple menu with unique "Classics" that include Panko Loco Moco, and Chilaquiles. Portions are decently sized. Not huge like most places and not tiny. We had the chicken fried steak and the classic eggs Benedict. I thought the chicken fried steak was descent, but could've used more flavor as well as the hash browns. Maybe a little bit more gravy with the chicken fried steak as well. Prices were okay with being off strip and today's inflation rates. Service was good and fast. I look forward to trying other things on the menu next time.

Trixie T.

Yelp
Super yummy! Everything was delicious, I think the prices were okay for the quality of the food. But I think I would come back here. I got the corned beef with potatoes and sour dough. Service was nice and attentive, but felt a bit rushed to leave. When we went in, the place was cute. Not many people, but ambiance was lively.

Lea C.

Yelp
Morning News truly never disappoints! The service is consistently amazing! Staff is friendly and very accommodating. The food comes out fast, too! The amount of food choices at times could be overwhelming since they have so many items to choose from. This place just has amazing entrees, and whichever you ended up ordering, it will not disappoint. It's a must go when you're in Vegas! Search no more for the best breakfast place in town. Morning News is it!

Benjamin K.

Yelp
I really enjoyed my visit to Morning News. I went with my family in a large group around 11 am on a weekday. The restaurant was busy, but they were able to accommodate us quickly. The service was good, and the food was delicious. It was hard to pick between sweet and savory as the menu had so many good options. Everyone enjoyed their food. The Shelly Yoko with curly fries was delicious!

Dave C.

Yelp
My son and I had enjoyed our breakfast sandwich ! Thanks for that! Small location but great selections Will display the menu

Jessica B.

Yelp
We came here on a Sunday and ended up ordering the basic breakfast for me with the eggs, bacon and hashbrowns. My boyfriend got the Benedict. Both were really good and I highly recommend the cheesy hashbrowns. Our server was great. She helped us out in choosing our entrées. This place was small, but it wasn't too busy. We came on a Sunday and we're able to just walk right in and park right out front. It's a great spot with a small menu but very flavor ruffle

Tiffany C.

Yelp
Cute restaurant, they poached the eggs just right and you've found the right place if you love curly fries. Let your server know before you go to pay that you're a community leader, we're both in healthcare but didn't get the discount because we didn't let them know soon enough? The side of fruit for $6 served in a tiny ramiken made no sense to me, maybe skip it and have your fruit at home.

Jonny G.

Yelp
This ended up being a backup up surprise after Bagelmania was packed. Located up the street from the Palace Station, the exterior has a common look, and the inside is quaint. The food, though, was incredible. This is one of those spots that has become Instafamous with unique options and placing cones on some of their pancakes. We skipped the gimmicks and ordered a Strawberry Fields Waffle, which my dad loved, the creme brulee pancakes which I thought were amazing. Had a shortstack, which was sweet and fluffy, and I can not imagine being able to tackle the full stack. The portions are huge. The only con is that when they say their bacon is thick, it is legit thick. Some people may love it, but for me, it was almost ham like. Is this restaurant in line with many of the gimmicky brunch spots that have opened in Vegas the last few years. Yes. However, they do brunch/breakfast well and have solid service.

Joy P.

Yelp
This was a fantastic Vegas find! We went on a Tuesday so were able to avoid the crowds. Each of us got something different and each truly enjoyed our choices. Food delivery was quick and the food was super flavorful. I recommend trying a few different things. We have to go back to try a few more. Kate, our waitress, was phenomenal- super attentive, efficient, and quick. Lots of free parking available. Elegant Diner-like atmosphere, clean and comfortable.

Kelly T.

Yelp
Yes yes yes. Drawn in by the adorable breakfast characters drawn on the building, stayed for the food. I was also so lucky to find out that Morning News is the same family as Herbs &Rye and Cleaver two of the best spots in town. The hostess/manager(?) Was a delight and so gracious to check in with us throughout our meal. The food was fantastic. We split a Sammie that had a pancake in it! And the bacon was top notch. Thick and cooked perfectly. Don't skip the cheesey hashbrowns they were the cherry on top. Two thumbs up, great atmosphere, great food, great service.

Cathy C.

Yelp
Yelp Review 2024 #50: We came here for brunch and we were trying to figure out what this spot used to be. It's in a building that has a drive-thru with ample parking spots - so, it was a fast-food restaurant in its previous life. The exterior is bright and inviting and so is the interior. It's a casual breakfast/ brunch eatery. The menu is simple: pancakes, benedicts, poutine, biscuits and gravy, chilaquiles, corned beef hash, loco moco, steak and eggs, chicken fried steak, bagel sandwiches, waffles, French toast, coffee, hot chocolate, tea, juice, and ice cream shakes, and vanilla ice cream cones. Pork Belly Benedict: Thick-cut Pork Belly, Melted Manchego, Macha Chili Oil, Poached Eggs, Hollandaise, Hashbrown on English muffin. The flavors and textures were fantastic. Fatty, creamy, soft, crunchy, savory, and mildly spicy. 4/5 Curly Fries: I asked our server if I could swap my hashbrowns for curly fries. They don't do substitutions so, I had to order curly fries on the side. Theirs is nice and lightly battered. Unlike some places that are so crunchy and hard they puncture the roof of your mouth and your gums. 4/5 Chicken Fried Steak: Breaded and fried chicken cutlet with Country Gravy, Hashbrowns, Fried Eggs, and Toast. I opted for cheesy hashbrowns, scrambled eggs, and sourdough bread toast. The cheesy hashbrowns were great - it has a light kick to it and the crispy hashbrowns was able to stay crispy despite the cheese sauce. The chicken was flavorful especially with the country gravy. 4/5 Oreo Newsflash: As if I didn't have enough food, I wanted to finish my meal with something sweet. I wanted the chocolate-dipped vanilla cone but they didn't have dipping chocolate available so, I opted for an Oreo Newsflash described as an ice cream shake - basically a Blizzard. The ice cream was not super sweet. 4/5 So, that's what this place used to be: Dairy Queen. The service was top-notch. Attentive and friendly. They give a 15% discount to first responders, medical professionals, teachers, etc with ID. I'm curious about their bagel sandwiches and for that, I will be back to try them. Their pancakes are huge and look thick and fluffy and topped with a vanilla ice cream cone - which seem to be popular among families with children. Definitely for sharing.

Yelp
1st meal of the day in Vegas. Small spot off the strip, but the breakfast was good. I had Lox Benedict. Not bad, pancakes are hitting, Drunkin Noodle: no liqs, but thank you for the cup.

Yelp
Stopped by to see what Morning News was all about. As soon as my dad & I walked in we were immediately greeted and seated. Victoria was our server. He provided lots of recommendations and made the best iced coffee too. My dad & I shared the Hangover breakfast and it was more than enough food for us. I look forward to coming back to the rest of the menu. Thank again Victor for a wonderful dining experience!

Yelp
Ever heard the phrase, "great things come in small packages?" Well this be place exemplifies that quote! Small menu, but so many great options! No reason to have an overloaded menu with a bunch of mediocre options when you can have a small, concentrated menu with all the best breakfast items in one place. All of the meals were delicious and everybody in our party is looking forward to going back and trying something new! Only downfall of the entire meal: Their ranch tastes weird. Can't pin point what it was, but when you order curly fries nothing is better than delicious ranch with it, and it was disappointing that their ranch was not good.

Yelp
Heading back home to California but first breakfast..... went to TikTok for the latest away from the strip. This place came up several times on my feed. Of course we had to come and check it out, right before the drive home. Wow it didn't disappoint.... Our server Kate was wonderful. She recommended my plate (breakfast sandwich) we received outstanding service. Thank you!!

Yelp
Great atmosphere friendly staff. My party of 4 was accommodated with no reservations. Everything was great on the plate. I was not a fan of the cheesy hash browns. I think the hash browns would have tasted much better with a cheddar cheese mixed in the hash browns versus the melted American on top. Just my opinion

Yelp
Nice and cheery breakfast place, went here for brunch one weekday morning with a small group. I ordered the chunky monkey pancakes and a side of sausage and it was super delicious. Also, had a cup of coffee and it woke me up for my day! Staff was helpful and kept water cups filled. They even split our checks, experienced excellent service. Check this joint out!

Yelp
It can be a long wait, so be patient. Service was absolutely great, and the decor was cute. Food: Panko Loco Moco The Farmer with Cheesy Hashbrown and Thick Bacon The panko Loco Moco came with a square cut of spam, which is probably equivalent to 2 slices (like a musubi). The panko was too thick. I would recommend cutting the spam thicker. It seemed like you're eating only panko. The Farmer was good. I liked the thick bacon. The highlight was the cheesy hashbrown. It was delcious. Overall, I'd come back again, but try different dishes.

Yelp
My friends and I came on a Friday morning around 10AM and there was no wait. The host greeted us with a big smile as we walked in, which is always welcoming. We shared the morning new breakfast (with cookie monster waffle), shelly yoko sando, and loco moco. Everything was full of flavor and we left the restaurant stuffed! Would definitely recommend all these dishes to share! Another thing i would recommend is to order the waffle later so it's not so soggy by the time you're ready to eat it. Overall, great place!

Yelp
This restaurant was pretty packed tight like sardines in this joint. I honestly looked up breakfast/brunch family friendly and we drove from across town so our kids could have a cool and unique breakfast experience. Most of those spots are brunch spots but this was family friendly. Normally we don't do waits over 20 min. They told us upon arrival it'd be 45 -1 hr wait. We waited bc it was too late to go anywhere else. There's no waiting area. Soon as you go in people are eating. It's pretty small with wall to wall seating barely any space to move. We ended up waiting in our car til we got a phone text. Luckily it only took 20-25 min. Which was a plus. But, after this, it went a little down hill for us. The server, seemed pretty aloof the entire time we were there. Took him a while to get to us, but we understood it was busy. When he finally got to us and we were ready to order, we are asking questions, about the menu, when he walks away from us in the middle of the order as we are speaking, to take the tables order behind us. It was the weirdest and most unprofessional uncomfortable thing. Literally, mid-sentence, I'm talking and he walks to the other table behind us and takes their order. Then he walks away and takes another tables order, brings out food and checks on two more tables before he comes back to us. I was ready to leave at that moment. But we waited in our car to be sat down then came in and felt the most subpar service. If that. I expressed to him how it was weird of him to walk away and he was just like "oh sorry." Then he took our order and he just had bizarre behavior that took away from our experience I think. I could've rated them higher based on food and presentation but, the service really made us want to eat and leave. We could've even gotten over the fact that everyone is packed in the restaurant like sardines. But service means a lot and it just wasn't there. It was one of the worst service experiences we've had. Other than service, the food was good. We enjoyed trying something new. I don't know if I'd return yet or not. But, I do think the menu had some notable options. We ordered a Panko Loco Moco, a Shelly Yoko Sammy, a side of chocolate chip pancakes, and Cherry cheesecake pancakes but we subbed for Strawberries instead of cherry. It's worth it for people to come try and I hope you get better service than we did. Better service could've made this place a 4-5 star experience. Value/Price 7/10 Environment 5/10 - too crowded in small space Service 2/10 Food 7/10 Speediness 6/10 Cleanliness 7/10

Yelp
This is the first breakfast place I have been to where you can order different flavors of waffles, pancakes or French toast without being limited! The service was excellent, and the location made it seem like a hidden gem. It's such a cute place to eat breakfast, and I recommend making a reservation just in case!
