Morriña - Taberna galega

We had a lot of different food to try, everything was very oily and in my opinion lacked flavour. The pan con Tomate was a disappointment, the gambas al ajillo had very neutral taste. For what we payed I would expect a higher level of cooking. Service was ok and the atmosphere too - reminded me of a Spanish place.

Highly recommend; Great place to get tapas! Staff was friendly, food was good, atmosphere good, very nice place to get tapas and chill. Our server was Max, young man, knew his stuff, good recommendations, spoke English very well. Nice attitude, and professional. If we're in Poznan again, we definitely will go back!

Delicious food and drinks, lovely Spanish atmosphere. The chairs aren’t the most comfortable, but that didn’t bother me much.

Returning late from the cinema, we all were looking for a place to have some coffee, and we spotted this brightly lit place, quite welcoming I would say. Right from the very start it seemed our coffee request was not welcome. Anyways to help the business we ordered churros and Galician bread with olive oil to share. I rate 5 out of 10 for the churros and 2 out of 10 for the so called Galician bread. Out of curiosity I asked a young waiter who spoke only English, to please tell us what is so special about this bread. His curt answer was “ it’s from Galicia “ and laughed. I was quite shocked and felt that the wait staff were poorly trained and had no knowledge about the food on the menu. To top it all the so called Galician bread slices were cold and chewy and definitely not fresh. I would have hoped for the bread to be served warm if not toasted, it was very unfortunate. Any case we requested another young waitress to please ask the kitchen for the bread to be warmed up. She obliged, and what she brought back wax still not up to scratch. Worse my Americano was very weak and despite requesting for extra hot it was served lukewarm. However it was good to see other tables enjoying wine, which is what I think they do better. No chance here for vegetarians and teetotallers, so I certainly do not recommend this place if you happen to be a vegetarian 🥺

One of our favourite places in Poznan to grab a drink and Spanish tapas. As close to Spanish tastes as it is possible in Poland 😂 everything we tried so far was very tasty, of course you have to mind that seafood is being transported and not like in Spain from sea to your table thus one can taste the difference. Baby squid was not actually the baby squid but rather a mix of cut squid. The owner is a very helpful Spanish guy and the staff is friendly and helpful. Nice wine card. We tried Rioja once and loved it, next time we came it was so more on the menu HOWEVER the owner found the bottle in the bar and we enjoyed it greatly. Definitely the best olives in the city, so yummy 😋

Great place! The food was nice and well-paired with our wine. Let's just say that our plan was to have a glass of wine and some small tapas for 1h tops and we ended up staying the whole evening and ordering almost everything from the menu. It was simply delicious and the service was amazing, it felt like being amongst friends.

The restaurant is very nice, but far away from Spanish tapas. I was fully disappointed by octopus as it was chewy, not well grilled. At the menu they have had chipirones, which were actually normal cut fried squid. This was a disappointment No.2. Skip this restaurant if you are looking for the authentic Spanish food. In Spain this restaurant would be empty. The service was good and the staff were doing a great job, but they have to change a cook and ingredients and start serving what they have on the menu. If it is written chipirones, I expect them on the table, not a low quality squid.
