Perfect balance between informal and chic atmosphere. Here at Morrofino we spent a perfect evening, with amazing food and an attentive service. At a first glance, you can catch the attention to details: from the furniture, to the huge and beautiful murales and the mise en place. As said, once seated the waiter warmly introduced us to the morrofino concept, proposing either a tasting menu or a list of delicious dishes to enjoy individually or to share. We opted for the individual dishes and had one of the most interesting kitchen of our trip in the north of Spain. We had: the salmorejo with lettuce and jalapeño granita, cherry tomatoes and burrata, a green gazpacho with raw langoustine (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED), then a delicious, mind blowing plums iberica with potatoes and finally a very interesting and tasty dish made of potatoes waffles with kimchi matinees and fumed eel (again, highly recommended). The desserts were also top notch: we had the milhojas with chocolate & salted caramel and orange ice cream served on a yogurt foam with strawberries. The wine suggestion by the waiter (Volatil) was on spot. Price was more than fair.
