"Morse Gyros and Chicken has relocated and reopened. It’s still on Morse Avenue, so the name continues to be accurate, but two blocks west in the spot formerly occupied by Grill Inn." - Naomi Waxman

First time ordering my brother has Asperger’s ( Autism ) and he was ordering the food for himself. I thought this restaurant would be good due to its rating. Thankfully I look over my brother food when he receives food deliveries. He order the chicken salad and it was absolutely horrible and inedible to eat. As you can see from the pictures (zoom in). They sent a chicken salad that was old chicken ( literally crumbles of old chicken ), the vegetables were old as you can see some vegetables are even brown. Along with the pita bread being old. Contact the restaurant and spoke with a supervisor. The supervisor had a nasty and rude attitude offer no resolve. Supervisor stated “ If I want quality food I should dine in instead of ordering delivery. Took absolutely no accountability and proceeded to blame Uber Eats when their restaurants are the people who made the salad. My brother had a meltdown because I couldn’t allow him to eat the salad. This is a diverse neighborhood and the are many others who are on the spectrum. I am writing this review because I don’t want others on the spectrum to order from this place and become sick from consuming their food. Along with informing possible new customers not to order delivery from this restaurant because this restaurant serves old inedible food for deliveries. I have never order from this restaurant so I don’t know if this happens on the regular. I’m just warning people if you consider ordering from this restaurant.

This is an absolutely phenomenal experience. I am currently eating Italian sausage for 6 and some change. This is the epitome of a Chicago restaurant experience to me. Other than the size of the restaurant, the experience is awesome. They need to expand into a larger location!!! But I had the pleasure of having Dad's photo up above me while I ate.

I have lived in the neighborhood for over 10yrs. I loved it before it was Morse Gyro. The grinders was fire and worth the price. I try not to feel some type of way about this place but for as long as they have been open the food is terrible!!!! When I gave them another try, I should have stuck with my original instinct to avoid this place. The food is extremely over priced. The food taste horrible and there is no care of how it’s put together. It’s a wast of time and money. Avoid this place and go somewhere else. You will appreciate this post after you have received your food or got home to eat it to find out you would have rather went hungry. It’s take forever to get your food to receive what looks like some thing the kids tried to cook. A frozen burger and horrible fries, gyros are super gross for it to be Morse Gyro for $30.The prices are extremely unpleasant. The menu looks interest but the food is truly trash. I don’t know who operates this place but it’s terrible. In all ways!!!!

I previously gave this place a low rating but since then they have relocated and changed many things for the better and under new owners. Prices are much better and you get a decent portion for what you pay for now. Service is a bit slow but not horrible. The quality of the food is great and the staff are friendly! I wanted an omelette gyro but he didn't have any eggs and it was less than an hour to closing. He offered to have one of his staff run nearby to get some eggs for me. I thanked him for the generosity and gave him a nice tip for the outstanding service but I ordered something else they had available and that it wasn't a big deal. It is a bit crammed and is pretty warm in there.

Food-poisoning after receiving rude service, being wildly overcharged, and an absurdly long wait time. The guy who works here most of the time is a snide little creep.

I’ve been visiting this place since they were in their previous location East on Morse. The food is fast, tasty, and affordable—I usually get nachos or a gyro, and the fries are always crispy and hot. It can get a little loud when crowded and seating can fill up as it’s a smaller space.
