"This U District biscuit shop offers the kind of biscuits that breakfast lovers dream of — pillowy interior, crispy exterior, flaky bite. The “fast break,” Morsel’s signature sandwich, is a behemoth stack of eggs, fatty bacon, and cheddar cheese on a biscuit of your choice that’s smeared with earthy tomato jam. You can also opt to grab one of its buttermilk biscuits plain with butter and jam on the side; there’s strawberry balsamic jam, chocolate hazelnut jam, and raspberry jam, among others. Morsel usually has gluten-free biscuits available." - Harry Cheadle

I really like this hotel coffee shop/gift shop that I can walk to at lunch time. The pecan chicken salad sandwich was just right. Iced mocha was way too sweet for me. Friendly service, not busy, upscale environment. I think some workers here are part of a jobs program (where they learn to deal with people like you) so think before you judge. They have phone charging stations/tables.

*Review copied from Yelp* This is a two star review because things definitely could have been better at this coffee shop. I would like to start with the positives however because the employees and the shop were clean and nice and the shop is conveniently located in the Omni Hotel lobby level by the parking garage elevators. First, the people here are very friendly and attentive. They were happy and upbeat, and willing to explain all of the menu offerings. The store itself was very clean and there were napkins, plasticware, and milk/sugar options directly behind the ordering counter so it was a very well-constructed setup and convenient layout. The bad part strictly deals with the coffee itself. My wife ordered a cappuccino and I ordered a Nitro Cold Brew. The cappuccino was VERY bitter, too bitter for my wife in fact. She couldn't drink it even after adding nearly half a cup of milk. I am a black coffee enjoyer, and even I thought the cappuccino bitterness was of jet-fuel levels after the milk was added so I could see why she didn't like it. My Nitro Cold Brew that I ordered was the worst coffee I've ever purchased. I hate writing that about any product but it's true. The Nitro Cold Brew upon receiving it looked like dirt. It smelled terrible. Upon drinking it to try it, the drink was not cold and the taste was less than desirable. I let my wife smell and try it and she said it looked awful, smelled like alcohol, and was literally undrinkable for her. I took the Nitro Cold Brew back to my room to pour it out, which I despised doing with the drink being $7. I drank my wife's cappuccino strictly for the caffeine, as she wasn't going to pour it out before I convinced her not to and I had already poured the Nitro Cold Brew down the sink. This coffee shop is convenient and has nice employees and ambiance, but the coffee itself needs a lot of quality work and is the main reason this review is only two stars.

Google
A solid spot to start your day if you’re staying at the Omni! Their coffee drinks are great (I highly recommend the honey lavender latte), and they also have some snacks for breakfast! They’re quick to serve as well. There was a long line, but I really wanted a latte so I decided to just be patient if I needed to be. I was impressed with how quickly the line moved even though they were busy! Thanks for taking care of us this week! We look forward to seeing you guys again!

BUYER BEWARE!! Used tap to pay and it worked for me. But failed for them. So they said “oh use this other register. I looked at my bank account and I was already charged! I was like you’re not going to charge me again. And had to show them my personal bank account information.

Google
Great little selection of sandwiches and salads, along with fruit cups. They make Expresso drinks here and also have ice cream sandwiches.

Took my order, made my drink. Great job, amicable staff. Peet's is typically about as good as Starbucks, with the occasional franchise location having exceptionally good coffee. This is one of those. Located in threw omni hotel lobby.

Google
This is the definition of a scam I asked for a large wild berry refresher, and they filled my whole cup up with ice and barely any of the drink and I watched them pour it in the cup and it looked like your typical welches juice this I highly recommend going to Starbucks instead this is a waste of your money.

Google
Better than expected for a non-branded hotel coffee shop. The iced white mocha was way too sweet for me (and I have a known sweet tooth), but the vanilla latte was the right amount of sweet for my palate. Staff was friendly and me their way through our large conference crowds quickly.

Yelp
Morsel's is the coffee shop located within the Omni Hotel. I visited this coffee shop once during the stay. I ordered two lattes and a croissant and both were tasty. Personally, the coffee wasn't mind blowing, but it was good and did the job! They offer a variety of iced and hot drinks, flavors, croissants, breakfast sandwiches, parfaits, and other continental breakfast items. Definitely recommend for picking up something quick and light to eat. The customer service is attentive and professional, with friendly staff and orders are made quickly. Would recommend. The coffee shop is located within the convenience store area of the Omni. I may do a separate review for the store, however they also sell a variety of different items including gifts. The microwave is also located in Morsel's.

Yelp
They have a seasonal drink menu plus all the other coffee drink usuals. I had a great conversation with the barista regarding suggestions. I decided to go with my usual iced white chocolate latte with cinnamon dust. It was a refreshing treat!

Yelp
Part of the Omni Dallas food offerings (which operate as independent restaurants, but are all part of the on-premises complex), this was a handy stop in the mornings on the way from hotel to event next door at the Kay Bailey Hutchison center next door. The hotel offers drink vouchers with your stay so we didn't pay for our coffees, but prices were fairly typical. The drinks were good, had some flavors that were beyond the typical (like honey lavender and white chocolate pistachio) and didn't take too long to be made. We tried latter and macchiatos during our stay, both iced and hot, and they were all delicious. They also offer some food, including breakfast sandwiches (SO GOOD), salads, fruit cups, yogurt parfaits - breakfast and light lunch choices. All looked fresh & high quality, with pricing as you'd expect. We were attending a large event so the line could be a little long at times, but the staff is efficient and friendly. It's a pretty & bright spot if you eat in, or you can just keep on trucking to whatever brought you to the hotel. Solid choice.

Yelp
I found Morsel's to be a cute little "retreat" from the hustle and bustle of activity at the Omni Hotel. While staying at the Omni all week, there were times I would grab a coffee and fruit cup and get some work done at one of the tables in Morsel's, complete with power stations. The bonuses were a great music playlist to listen to and the friendly, fun staff working here. They seem to be enjoying what they do and I loved their attention to customer service. The store has many things you can choose from too, if you forgot to pack something, as well as some nice gifts you can browse and a good selection of cosmetics, like Winky Lux lip colors. Probably one of my favorite hotel, on-site coffee/snack shop/stores I've ever experienced, so far, in my travels. Morsel's is something special!

Yelp
Cute store in the hotel, huge windows to enjoy the light and view, lots of seating to hang out, charging stations (that's a plus) and tables to work. Ordered an iced non-fat latte from a delightful cashier and I'm sitting here enjoying every sip. They serve Peets coffee and the latte is really good!

Yelp
This review is for the food. It's gross. Got the yogurt parfait and the yogurt tastes nasty, it's like sour cream. Ordered two breakfast sandwiches and they were cold in the middle and had little flavor. They had a cooler with drinks in it but nothing was cold. The only thing they had going for them was the coffee. It's super expensive, I didn't see the receipt but two coffees, two breakfast sandwiches, a yogurt and two muffins was $42.

Yelp
Grab and go in the lobby of the Omni Hotel. I was there for a conference. Long lines in the morning and unfortunately they were making mistakes because of the high volume of orders, i.e. regular milk used instead of soy or real coffee instead of decaf - oops! They have amazing Joy macaroon ice cream sammies which are just the right size and a yummy treat, but a little overpriced at $8.56. They have sundry items as well. Open early morning through the evening.

Yelp
This small café inside the Omni Dallas provides just a bit of everything, or a morsel....hence the name. They are located on the main floor lobby in between the hotel's bar and gift shop. Whenever I visit this Omni, I always stop in for a nibble or two. First of all, they provide complimentary flavored water, and who doesn't love fresh orange or cucumber infused happiness, especially on a hot Dallas day. My go to bites are usually their salads, which are fresh and very well proportioned. The chicken caesar salad is my favorite at the moment. It has a healthy portion of sun dried tomatoes that are just bursting with flavor while being a bright enhancement on a classic dish. There is plenty of fork tender lean chicken with a lovely amount of aged parmesan cheese. It's a great value at only $7. But this tiny stop has traditional sandwiches, wraps, sweets, coffee, tea, and other beverages. Service here is kinda different, they are efficient at their job, but could be more friendlier and warmer. I talk to everyone wherever I go, but here, it's all business and no small talk. Ok. Nothing personal...it is what it is.

Yelp
The coffee at Morsel's was good; perfectly balanced vanilla latte of sweet and espresso. They were hopping, too, and pretty quick to get my order out.

Yelp
The good: hot chocolate was delish!!! The teas were great too! The Amazing: the staff here is superb!!! Both guys working on 1/21/18 in the afternoon were wonderful! Answered all my questions, we're super nice and gave me a free fruit with my purchase! The just okay: food is a bit pricey for the quality. Not bad, but not amazing. Turkey and Brie wasn't fresh, and the roast beef wrap was bland. The cheese/ meat/ grape pack was good.

Yelp
Coffee was adequate, even good. Both a breakfast burrito, and the English muffin bacon sandwich were edible, but truly nothing more. Stick with coffee

Yelp
Recently attended a conference in the Convention Center & discovered Morsels on a hunt for coffee! Great service & product! I have a coffee bar so it's not often that I find the quality that we serve. Wish I could thank the girls personally - came by but it was closed Saturday, late 3/25. Thanks again!

Yelp
Morsel's is ok. I expected it to be off the charts because of the hotel and other restaurants there. The coffee at Morsels was not as good as a chain or mom and pop but it did the trick in this coffee desert. This place is good to grab something when you don't want a full restaurant meal. It is also nice when you need more drinks or to take a bite or drink to your room. The complimentary infused water is nice if you linger a bit. For seating there are a few bars of chairs facing the outside to people watch. You can always sit in the hotel lobby or take it to go. It is connected to Collections gift shop so you can browse there too. If you want a morsel and just a morsel this place is ok.

Yelp
Just got a yogurt parfait and there was mold growing in it. And not just a little. I'm surprised I didn't see it before I bought the parfait... must have been tired. But completely disgusting and not OK

Yelp
The Omni Hotel in Dallas is really nice but you would think they could afford to put a decent coffee shop in the building. Day one I had a regular coffee that tasted like gas station coffee. Day 2 I went for a latte thinking it would be better, but it was not. The latte was ready in less than a minute and milk takes longer to froth than that so I think they just gave me old frothed milk. I took it up to my room, 20 minutes later I took my first sip and burnt my tongue. I opened it up and realized it was only 2/3 full and the milk froth looked odd, somehow less creamy and dense than a normal latte. Was it microwaved!? Hey Omni, you have great restaurants why do you have this subpar cafe that is more fit for a 2 star hotel??
